"Okay everyone, before you guys continue to watch, I'm giving you an hour break to stretch and talk," Pedro reappeared. Everyone nodded and stood up to walk around. They went to get some snacks that they just noticed were there. No one, except for FMirabel, FBruno, Bruno, and Alonso, noticed little Mirabel walking up to Alonso. She looked up at him and raised her arms up, wanting to be picked up. He bent down to pick her up gently, as if he'll accidentally hurt her. FMirabel smiled at this, knowing that he'll never hurt a child. He was very protective of children. He told her it was because of what happened to him and his little sister when they were children. She frowned at the thought of her vile in-laws. The things they did to her husband and Eleanora, though unfortunately she didn't make it out. From what he told her his parents would punch, beat, kick, bite, throw, stab, choke, hit (with a hand, stick, or other object), burn, or otherwise cause any physical harm to both him and his little sister. Eleanora past away from a severe hit to her head when they tried to run away from his parents. His only saving grace was that police was suspicious of his parents and arrested them. He was sent to live with his father's sister, Carlota, who was the sweetest person Mirabel has met. When she met Alonso, he was always down in the dumps, which now made sense in her mind, and she vowed to always make him smile. And she did, when she befriended him after a couple of months of them moving to Encanto. Then after a year, they got together, which apparently her whole family and his aunt was betting on how long it would take. FMirabel was shaken out of her thoughts when she heard her younger self laugh, and looked over to see Alonso tickling her. Little Mirabel's laughter caught everyone's attention, and they looked over to see Alonso tickling Mirabel. They smiled along with FMirabel and laughed as well, because her laughs were so contagious. FMirabel walked over to Alonso and leaned over to his ear.
"See, you would make a wonderful father, just be yourself honey," FMirabel whispered into his ear, which caused him to flush red and smile at her.
"You're awesome mister Alonso," Little Mirabel said to him, which caused him to smile down at her, then gave her back to Julieta. Julieta hugged Mirabel and looked at her aged up youngest daughter and went up to her.
"May I feel your baby bump," she asked. FMirabel smiled and nodded. Julieta touched the bump and felt it kick. Her smile brightened up," do you have a name for the baby?"
"Well, we agreed on both, so if it is a boy his name will be Pedro, after Abuelo, and if it is a girl her name will be Eleanora, after Alonso's sister," FMirable replied. Her Abuela whipped her head around to look at her in surprise and happiness at hearing that she will name a child after her late love.
"You have a sister," Isabela asked Alonso. Both him and his wife winced at this, which everyone noticed. Abuela looked at Alonso with dread feeling her stomach. She already suspects what had happened to his sister, but hopes that she is either sick or was something else.
"Had a sister, she is gone though," Alonso replied, looking down in sadness. FMirabel hugged him to comfort, but doesn't blame Isabela for her families past selves wouldn't know what had happened. Everyone frowned in sadness and went to comfort their future family member.
"May we ask what happened, or will it be too sensitive to talk about," Abuela whispered almost too quietly, almost causing her family not to hear.
"Yeah, it's okay," Alonso told her with a small smile," our parents killed her when her and I was trying to escape from them and the abuse we suffered from them," he told them with tears in his eyes, while also covering little Mirabel's ears so she wouldn't hear him. That is not a topic for little kids. He also gestured for Pepa to do the same with Camilo. FMirabel was now clinging to him, imitating a koala. All of the adults had angry looks on their faces. They couldn't believe there are people out there who would do that to their children. Now they had the urge to hunt down Alonso's parents and teach them that no one can mess with their family.
"And from what he told me, he was saved from them by police officers, who was suspicious of his parents and sent him to live with his sweetheart of an aunt, Carlota, who reminds me of mom," FMirabel smiled at her mother, who beams at the obvious compliment. Everyone smiled at this, happy that Alonso was saved. Everyone decided to gather around the couple to have a group hug, when all of the sudden FMirabel tried to push them away from Alonso, snarling at them, still feeling very protective of him at the moment.
"Sorry, whenever we mention what happened to me, she becomes very protective of me, not letting anyone to come close to me, it also got worse when she got pregnant," Alonso explained when he saw confused looks directed at his wife. Everyone nodded, as they understand that when knowing your significant other was hurt you tend to be protective, and it doesn't help with the heightened hormones of a pregnant woman.
"Okay everyone back to your seats, it's time to resume the movie," Pedro told everyone. Once everyone was seated again Pedro turned to the future version of Mirabel and told her that he was honored that her baby be named after him. He smiled at her and vanished.
