On New Year's Eve, Tina was thinking about what happened to her family. She and Jessica sat in the hospital, looking over their grandma.
On August 15, Noke, a young boy, eagerly watched TV on his birthday. His ultimate wish was to meet his hero, Luke Huntington. Noke had been captivated by Luke's performances and admired him greatly. However, Noke held a strong dislike towards Luke's siblings, who he perceived as jerks.
He walked around. "Luke's signing autographs. I'll just send a video to invite Luke to my party. Besides, he'll want any excuse to be away from those crazy siblings of his." he says.
Meanwhile, Luke, the popular singer, was surrounded by excited kids as he graciously signed autographs. Among the people in the crowd were his friends Garrett, Lonnie, Colleen, and Remy, who had come to show their support.
"Way to go!" Garrett says.
"Thanks!" Luke says.
Luke had been thinking about the siblings he considered bad influences.
Garrett sees that Luke was invited to a party.
"Anything that keeps me away from my siblings." Luke says.
For the past three days, all the siblings did was feel guilty. Guilty for hurting Luke, guilty for ruining his days, and guilty for a number of other things. They knew he was going through a lot, but they only cared about themselves.
Lucy was doing Luke's laundry. She decided to help him out any way she could, even if it meant doing every chore that Luke would do.
Luan just laid in her room, shedding tears. She never knew that it would get this bad.
Lana felt bad. She hated feeling this way. And now she felt extreme hatred toward her twin as she was the main one everyone dropped their plans for at times.
As for Leni, she still loves Luke. In fact, Luke still considers her a sibling. He loves her and she loves him. Luke never stays mad at her.
Lola decided to go to therapy.
Lincoln felt empathy, knowing what it was like to be used.
Luna was working with Charity on some new house rules. She's had enough of the siblings' selfish behavior and was ready for it to stop.
"Luke is here! Luke is here!" Noke says, excited.
"Well, hello!" Luke says. Garrett waves.
"Let's get this party started!" Noke says as his mom paid Luke to perform for him. Luke smiled and set up for his performance.
Meanwhile, Angry Luigi speeds up and skids to a stop as Savannah waves. "Over here! This is where the portal is." Savannah says.
Angry Luigi thinks.
"I saw dancing flowers, so it seemed nice." Savannah says and leaped in as Angry Luigi got paranoid, but jumped in.
Angry Luigi groaned. He looked around and saw the cups heading out. Chef Saltbaker waves.
"What is this place?" Savannah asked as Angry Luigi shrugged.
They follow the cups by staying in their shadows. They soon arrive at the kingdom.
"Well, hello there!" the king says.
"Hi, there, I'm Chalice and these are my friends, Cuphead and Mugman. We're looking for a special ingredient." Chalice says.
"You're going to have to go through a gauntlet to get it." The king says as Cuphead smirked, ready for adventure.
With Luke, he was performing for Noke and his guests. He smiled the whole time.
Later, it was piñata time as Noke hit his piñata as candy fell out. After that, everyone was eating cake.
Colleen went to the bathroom.
"Okay, I'm going home." Stephen says and tries to open the door, but it is shut.
"Yeah, this party isn't over. My party isn't a one day thing." Noke says.
"Anyone else getting creeped out?" Stephen says.
"Okay, what's the deal?" Luke says.
"I may have hired assassins to kill your siblings while we party." Noke says. "You see, I hate your siblings."
"That's kinda dark." Lonnie says.
"Of course. This way, Luke's days will be perfect. You're welcome." Noke says.
"Thanks." Luke says. But deep down, he knew who the nicer siblings were and who the mean and selfish ones were.
"Now let's do a special video." he says.
Meanwhile, assassins kick the door down as Lisa is confused. They leap towards her, who barely jumped out of the way, as two more nearly cut off her head but Lisa used telekinesis, failing to notice one more as Lynn kicked him aside.
A bunch of them surrounded Lynn.
"Lisa, the others went shopping for school stuff. I got this." Lynn says as Lisa runs off.
One charged, but Lynn punched it and fought with her powers.
"How are you supposed to beat me?" Lynn asked as more and more popped up.
"Right answer." Lynn says.
Meanwhile, Lucy was watching a video of Luke, but noticed him doing a message in Morse code.
"Mom, Luke's in trouble!" Lucy says.
"Yeah, I recognize that finger language. Morse code." Lana says.
"Let's go save him!" Lola says as Lucy decides to take out her spellbook to teleport there.
"Luke's siblings!" Noke says, tossing a bunch binding scarves as Lana, Luna, and Lincoln were the only ones able to dodge.
"Leave my son alone!" Charity says.
"Assassins, kill them, especially mud girl." Noke screamed as assassins try to cut Lana, but Lincoln blocked the sword.
Two more shot arrows, specifically targeting Lana.
"Lana!" Lola says worriedly as Lana barely dodged. One of them kicked her.
"You asked for it!" Lana says and got ready to fight, but another had an arrow aimed at Lola.
Luke stepped in and took care of the problem then gave Noke a menacing glare.
"Luke, no, buddy, I wanted to take out your annoying siblings." Noke says.
"A lot of them may be annoying to me, but in the end, they are my family!" Luke says.
"Awww…" the siblings said.
"So you even tolerate her?" Noke asked, pointing at Lola.
"Let me explain something here. She wants us to drop our plans for her at times where we're busy with other things. And I recall that on the day of my end-of-summer party last year, hijacking it to celebrate Lisa was her idea." Luke says. "None of the other siblings were with her on that idea."
Lola looked ashamed of herself.
"So, why should she live? Besides, she and the others ruined your birthday. The only thing that matters are the birthday festivities and they ruined it. My siblings ruined mine every year, but I'm like you, also autistic. Only difference is I finished the job." Noke says.
"You killed your siblings for a perfect birthday?" Lucy asked.
Tina sighed. "Birthdays got Grandma in this mess." Tina says and thinks about her upcoming birthday, which was in 3 days. She really had no one to take care of her. Her family was crazy.
Meanwhile, Luke was ready to get awards. Stephen, too. Charity was preparing for the New Year's Eve celebration.
Lucy dresses in a nice black dress. She was happy Luke was going to get an award.
"Are you guys excited about today?" Charity asked, wearing her new formal dress. Her brother was dressed in a nice outfit.
"Luke's getting awards!" Luke says.
"I know!" Garrett says, smiling.
They soon arrive at the New Year's Eve celebration. Luke was excited as he looked around.
There was food and drinks, carnival games, a stage for entertainment, a bounce house, an inflatable slide, a dance floor, and a few small contests such as a chalk art contest on the sidewalk and some races, such as an egg-on-a-spoon race and a three-legged race. The siblings except Lily and Lucy go off to play.
Lincoln and Luna drew on the sidewalk. Luke was trying his hand at the carnival games.
Lynn growled. "This game is rigged!" She said as she tried a long-range basketball game.
Later, it was award time.
"The first award is the best performer and that award goes to Luke Huntington!" Charity says. Fans cheered as Luke accepted it.
"The second award is the Rising Star award, which goes to Remy Estevez!" Charity says. Fans cheered as Remy accepted it. Victoria was very proud of her son.
"The third award is the Baker Of The Year award! And who is most deserving of this? Why, Stephen Meyers, of course!" Forest says. Stephen smiled and accepted the award.
"The 4th award goes to the best poet. And that goes to Remy Estevez!" Charity says as Lucy felt a bit hurt as she felt her work meant nothing. Haiku patted Lucy's shoulder.
"The 5th award is going to the best movie star." Forest says.
"And that is my son, Luke Huntington!" Charity says. Luke gladly accepted it.
Garrett was happy for his brother and friend.
"And the Athlete of the Year award goes to my son, Garrett Miller!" Forest says as fans cheered. Garrett gasped and smiled as he gladly took his award.
"The best fashion designer goes to Oliver Fox!" Charity says. And soon enough…
"The Star of the Year goes to the one and only Luke Huntington!" Charity says as everyone cheered. Luke beamed as he accepted the award.
Later, once the countdown had ended, Luke sighed deeply.
"Congrats, Luke, you won most of the awards. Well, only you, Stephen, Beau, Remy, Oliver or Garrett won awards." Leni says.
"That is something. Looks like Lisa's old news now." Lynn says as Lisa hides her face in a paper bag.
"Yeah, Beau beat you out for student of the year. Grades and all." Lori says.
"And for science, too." Luke says. Beau blushed a bit. He was trying to be modest about it all.
Lisa just put another paper bag on her face.
"Luke's anniversary is coming up." Lucy says.
"Oh, how many years?" Remy asked Luke.
"Hey, my pageant anniversary is coming up too, Lucy." Lola says.
"No one cares about your dumb anniversary this is Luke's month" Lucy says.
"6." Luke says. But he looks at Lola and smiles. "And Lola. I remember yours is next month, too. Just on a different day."
Lisa got home first and slammed her door shut, fuming. She was humiliated, embarrassed, and outclassed by her own boyfriend, of all people.
Lucy went to her room. Remy beat her in poetry. She really didn't have anything left to offer Luke at this point other than her party planning.
Lynn goes to her room, annoyed that Garrett had beaten her as she couldn't handle the fact that he was better than her. She tried to calm down. It was even more annoying that Garrett lived under the same roof as her.
"I'm going to Margo's place." Lynn says and leaves the house, really steamed.
"I should be heading home." Remy says.
"Okay, bye. See you later." Luke says as Remy leaves.
"Oh, hey, Luke, I didn't know you were doing better in class, really. Well, this is better than Lisa." Leni says. But Luke told her that Beau won this year. And while Luke had good grades, Beau's were a little bit better than his, but not by much.
Leni noticed Lisa heading outside "Lisa, where are you going?" Leni asked.
"You guys are going to be fine. Luke and Beau are smart enough to take care of you mammals." Lisa says and heads off.
"She'll come back any moment." Lori says. But after a bit, it was pretty clear that Lisa wasn't coming back.
"She must feel useless. If she isn't the smartest, she really has nothing." Lori says.
"So, does Luke get a party for his awards?" Luke asked.
"Sweetie, you're getting a big party for your anniversary. That'll celebrate all your achievements!" Charity says.
Lucy goes outside. She didn't take that poetry award loss well. She had a grudge with Remy.
"Leni's better at party planning, anyway. So, what's the point of me staying? Luke doesn't really want me around if he has Remy, the master of poems and Leni, the best party planner there is. I can't believe I really have nothing left to offer Luke anymore." Lucy says and lays in the snow.
Meanwhile, Lisa told Darcy the story about the awards.
"Clear favoritism." Darcy finally says. "A lot of it was based on the favorites game." She then goes on to explain what that means.
"Luke…" Lisa hissed, knowing that it must be either his friendship with Luke or the ANH show or both.
She was explaining that every award that was awarded tonight was also based on her "favorites game" theory.
"That makes sense. And I quit science." Lisa says.
"You can't quit!" Darcy says.
"I can. I mean, what's the point if life is just centered around biased opinions? I mean, I saved the schools from the flu once. I swear they just love Luke more than they love using common sense. Ladies spend 90% of their time drooling over Luke and his friends, wanting to marry them!" Lisa screamed as she couldn't calm down for some reason.
Lucy calmed down and came home, frowning. "I should have known Mom liked Remy more than me." Lucy says.
"That isn't true and you know it. I wasn't the one who picked Remy. The townspeople make their choices throughout the year." Charity says.
Lucy frowned. "Does Luke want me?" She asked.
"Sweetie, he doesn't care about how good you are at poetry. He cares about the love you give him and how much you care for him. He could care less about awards he gets if it means he has to care for you when the moment arises." Charity says.
Lucy smiled and fell asleep.
