Getting the memory from Slughorn proved harder that he thought.
"You could use the Imperius curse," Draco said, nonchalantly, gaining a glare from Hermione.
"That's illegal, and unethical." Hermione stated, before turning to Harry: "you should just talk to him, clearly Dumbledore think you can convince him."
"What if it spooks him?" Harry asked.
Both Draco and Hermione murmured, mostly in agreement.
That left Harry out of options.
He kept thinking about, trying to come up with a plan, but soon enough other matters pushed Dumbledore's homework to the back of his head.
As February started, so did the Apparition lessons. All sixth year students were excited for them. Two weeks later, it was Valentine's day. Harry received a stack of cards, flower bouquets, and multiple chocolate boxes.
"Draco, you got competition." Hermione joked.
"Don't listen to her, babe." Harry turned to Draco, before offering: "chocolate?"
Before Draco could reach for a chocolate, however, Hermione slapped the box out of Harry's hand. "Are you out of your mind?"
"What?" Harry asked, surprised by Hermione's behavior.
"They could be injected with a Love Potion." Hermione said.
Harry picked a piece off the floor and threw it in his mouth. "Nope," he said, "no Love Potion."
For Valentine's day, Harry and Draco once again snuck to the Herbology greenhouse at night, and they were once again interrupted by Slughorn who was extracting some serum from some plant.
Another month passed, and it was March already. It was starting to get warmer.
Harry woke up on a Saturday. It was pretty late. He had slept in. Hogsmeade trip was supposed to happen that day, but due to Anthony's incident, the trip was cancelled. Instead, Harry decided to have a chill day in the castle. He looked around him, Draco was already gone. As usual. He got up, took a shower, brushed his teeth, and put on some clothes. The box of chocolate he and Draco devoured the day before was still there. He suddenly craved chocolate. So he grabbed another box, opened it up, and threw a piece into his mouth. He decides to check the card. Romilda Vane. She is so pretty, Harry noticed, in her picture: her dreamy brown eyes, her curly black hair, and her radiant smile.
"Hey, you're up." Draco came back. Harry turned around.
"I'm in love!" He announced. Draco smiled, and blushed a little.
"you're such a dork." Draco said, and walked towards Harry. Then, he stops, he sees the chocolate box, the Romilda Vane card in Harry's hand, and he realizes what's happening. "Oh shit!"
Draco decided to take Harry to the hospital wing.
"We're out of the Love Potion antidote." Madame Pomfrey simply told him. "We had a lot of cases last month with it being Valentine's and the Weasley twins, oh those twins, selling Love Potions to all the girls in school. You'd think they'd stop causing trouble for you once they graduate, but no!"
Draco politely thanks Madame Pomfrey, who suggests he goes to Slughorn, the Potions professor, to brew a Love Potion antidote for Harry, and so he does.
"Oi! Who's this so early on a weekend?" Draco heard Slughorn make his way to the door. It was noon. It was not early.
"Malfoy? Potter?" Slughorn, still in his pajamas, rubbed his eyes. "How can I help you?"
"Love Potion." Draco simply said.
Slughorn turned to Harry: "the girls got their eyes on you, eh?"
Slughorn cleared the way for them to come in. Draco placed Harry on the couch, as Slughorn set up his station and got to brewing. Once the potion was ready, Slughorn handed it to Harry who chugged it down.
Harry's dreamy look turned to confusion. He looked around him: "where am I?"
"You ate a Love Potion injected chocolate." Draco informed him.
"Don't tell Hermione." Harry simply said. Draco smiled in amusement.
Slughorn poured them a drink and toasted: "to young love! And Draco…" he put his hand on Draco's shoulder, "I'm sure many girls have their eyes on you too."
Before Draco could respond to Slughorn's remark, to which he wasn't sure with what to respond anyways, Harry collapsed. It must be his unlucky day.
"Harry!" Draco rushed to his side. Held him by the shoulders. "Harry!" He shook him. He then turned to Slughorn, who just stood there stunned. "Professor, do something!" Nothing.
Draco got up, ran to the cupboard looking for something useful, something helpful. The Chosen One going out like this would be ironic. The Wizarding World would be doomed, the Dark Lord would be infuriated. As he ravaged through the cupboard, he finally came across… bezoars. He grabbed one and ran towards Harry, kneeled beside him, and pushed the bezoar down his throat.
Harry was breathing again. He grasped Draco's shirt. "You…" he breathed heavily, "…you saved me."
"We need to take you to the hospital wing."
