Harry Potter and the Founders Vault
Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter
Note: We apologize for the week's delay in posting. Normally we like to update Potter on the third week of each month but with Thanksgivings in the States and the fact that we were both busy last week, we decided to delay the update to today. Don't worry, this chapter was worth the extra week's wait.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ!
We've had a guest review recently with a few… opinions we'd like to address. So, first and foremost let me remind you all this is a FANFICTION and so the decisions made in this story are what we want in the story and what we know will work in the long run; secondly, yes we are changing things from the books, of course, but also there's some things from the books we can't do due to our own canon so those are changed to suit the story we are creating; thirdly, we do use scenes from both the books and the films and try to blend them nicely, so not everything is going to be original to us; finally, and quite simply: If you don't like the story, don't keep pointing out errors or what you would do or what should have happened – simply close the story and move on. Authors don't have time for your hate.
Constructive criticism is great, but not constantly and to the point where it's just plain spamming the story. Also doing it without giving me the ability to respond to defend my choices or even agree you have a point is annoying.
Additionally, I would like to remind you all that we were NOT putting Harry and Hermione together from the word go. They were 11 and 12 years old, respectively, and far too young for anything serious. We have a plan on when they get together but it's not for, at least, another year in-story. It'll be worth it though when we get there.
One last thing: while we have been putting some differences in the book plot we are mostly keeping it the same in the first few years – until the Founders' Vault is found, that is. We don't want to, and can't, do big changes until then, so yes, the first three years of book plots are mostly the same, but the changes will start building up.
Now, on with the chapter…

Note: Again, this chapter is also heavily influenced by both the book AND the movie as, once more, I had to pick and choose what I liked from both to make this chapter work for the additional characters involved and what I had previously established in the previous chapter. Also, a little repeat of the end of last chapter for dramatic effect.
Hermione's Secret
In the Hospital Wing, Hermione beckoned with earnest to two of her closest friends.
"Harry, Harper, come here…" Hermione took something out from under her shirt, it's chain long enough to put it over the three when they were close – but it wasn't the same chain she wore the Ravenclaw key on. This one was connected to what looked like a small hourglass.
"Sorry Ron, Neville, you two would slow us down," Hermione added to the other two, who looked completely confused.
"Ready?" Hermione asked.
"For what?" Harper questioned, but Hermione was already turning the hourglass over – three times.
The dark ward dissolved. Harry and Harper had the sensation that they were flying, very fast, backwards. A blur of colors and shapes rushed past them, their ears pounding.
And then they felt solid ground beneath their feet, and everything came into focus again–
They were standing next to Hermione in a now-deserted Hospital Wing and a stream of golden sunlight was falling across the paved floor from the windows. Harry looked at Hermione, the chain of the hourglass cutting into his neck.
"What just happened?" Harry asked.
"Did the sun come back out?" Harper added, noticing it was lighter outside. Hermione was already taking the chain off their necks.
"It's 7. Where were we at 7?" Hermione asked.
"Um… going down to Hagrid's," Harry said, still not sure what was happening.
"Come on," Hermione stated, and the two siblings couldn't do anything but follow her out of ward, down the corridor to the clock tower and down the stairs. They stopped and quickly hid behind a wall as Harry and Harper saw themselves dragging Ron under the Invisibility Cloak beyond – it was when Diego and Tonks turned around and Hermione had dragged them back.
They watched as Tonks sent Diego away and then gave a wink as she pointed where she was going. The three stayed still as the other them got out from under the Invisibility Cloak and had their conversation with Ron before moving off.
"Well, that does explain the wink," Hermione said as the other them were gone. "Tonks was winking at us, not our past selves."
"Hermione, slow down for a moment," Harper cut her friend off, "and explain."
"We've gone back in time," Hermione said.
"Well, that's obvious, but how?" Harry asked.
"This is a Time Turner," Hermione said, taking the small hourglass out again, showing it to the pair. Harry and Harper looked at each other and then shrugged. "Oh right, America has never made Time Turners. It's an object that allows short-term time travel. It's how I have been getting to my classes all year."
"You've been using time travel to get to classes," Harry said, amazed by this.
"I know – priorities. If I had known we had time travel on our side, I would have said to steal Buckbeak from the beginning," Harper said.
"To be fair there, you did make a very elaborate plan to steal him before," Harry pointed out.
"If we had stolen him, they would have only blamed Hagrid and sent him to Azkaban instead," Hermione pointed out, a little frustrated by the siblings at this.
"True. Okay, so what's the plan?" Harry asked.
"Professor Dumbledore said something – just said we could save more than one innocent life…" realization came over Hermione's face at this. "Oh! We're going to save Buckbeak!"
"But – how will that help Sirius?" Harry asked.
"Professor Dumbledore said – he just told us where Sirius is – was – going to be held! The old Troll cage at the top of the Charms tower." Hermione provided. "We've got to fly Buckbeak up to the tower and rescue Sirius! Sirius can escape on Buckbeak – they can escape together!" Her eyes were wide at the realization of what they had to do.
"If we manage that without being seen, it'll be a miracle…" Harper pointed out.
"Well, we've got to try, haven't we?" Harry stated, enthused by this revelation.
"Come on, let's get down to Hagrid's," Hermione nodded to the others as they made their move out of the castle, knowing what they had to do as they headed swiftly down to Hagrid's hut – it was easy now that the other-them, Ron, and Neville had already reached the groundskeeper's hut and no one else was in the grounds.
The trio took a position behind one of the largest pumpkins in Hagrid's pumpkin patch, listening in to what was happening in the hut.
"This is so weird…" Harper muttered as she watched herself through the open window of the little home.
Harry, however, got up when Hagrid took out Scabbers, making Harper and Hermione drag him down quickly, to not be seen. "The traitor is right there! I can get him," Harry said, eyes only just on the rat.
"No!" said Hermione in a terrified whisper. "Don't you understand? We're breaking one of the most important wizarding laws! Nobody's supposed to change time – nobody! You heard Professor Dumbledore… if we're seen–" Hermione started her warning.
"We'd only be seen by ourselves and Hagrid!" Harry pointed out.
"Harry, what do you think you'd do if you saw yourself bursting into Hagrid's house?" Harper now reasoned.
"I'd – I'd think I'd gone mad," Harry paused, "or I'd think there was some Dark Magic going on…"
"Exactly! You wouldn't understand, you might even attack yourself! Don't you see? Professor McGonagall told me what awful things have happened when wizards have meddled with time… loads of them ended up killing their past or future selves by mistake." Hermione explained to her closest friend.
"I would just call out 'Back to the Future' to myself," Harry pointed out. "Or 'Doctor Who'… He would get it."
"But you won't, because it never happened," Hermione pointed out, causing Harry to pause at this wording. "Horrible things happen to Wizards and Witches who mess with time," Hermione reiterated.
"Besides Hagrid, Ron, and Neville wouldn't get the muggle media references," Harper added. "Oh, guys!" Harper suddenly added, pointing, and they could see Professor Dumbledore, the Minister for Magic, the Executor and two Aurors coming down the hill toward the Hut. Professor Dumbledore seemed to be in animated conversation with the group.
"Oh god…" Harry muttered, realizing the implications of what was about to happen now.
"But why aren't we leaving?" Hermione stated, but then paused. "Of course… it happened because we…" without explaining what she meant, she picked it up something and threw it through the window, hitting the past Harry on the head.
"Hey, that hurt," Harry said, looking to Hermione but smirking, realizing what she'd done.
"Sorry," Hermione mumbled. "Come on, into the forest! Our past selves are coming this way..." the three moved quickly back into the trees to hide as their past selves – with Ron and Neville – now hid behind the pumpkins. The two Hippogriffs tied up nearby watched the bigger group with interest.
Hagrid answered the door to the other party, giving their past selves a chance to retreat from the hut, heading back toward the castle. They could hear, clearly, what was going on in the hut – even from here.
"Well, where is the beast?" Came the cold voice of the executioner from inside the little hut.
"Are you blind, Macnair? It's outside with another one!" The Minister for Magic spoke up at this. At that moment the sight of Macnair's face appeared at Hagrid's window, staring out at Buckbeak and Rosie.
"Why is there two?" Macnair asked without feeling.
"They–" Hagrid tried.
"I'd imagine that as they are mates, they're spending their last moments together before they're cruelly parted by this unnecessary act," Professor Dumbledore pointed out, the hint of anger in his otherwise pleasant voice.
"Yes, well… We – er – must read you the official notice of execution, Hagrid," the Minister for Magic now stated, ignoring Professor Dumbledore's remark. "I'll make it quick. And then you and Macnair need to sign it. Macnair, you're supposed to listen too, that's procedure…"
Macnair's face vanished from the window at this. It was now or never.
"Wait here," Harry whispered to Hermione and Harper. "I'll do it."
Neither argued with Harry as he started out from behind the tree, just as the Minister's voice started again–
"It is the decision of the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures that the Hippogriff, Buckbeak, hereafter called the Condemned, shall be executed on the sixth of June at sundown–" the Minister was reading the statement to Hagrid and the others.
Careful not to blink, Harry stared up into Buckbeak's fierce orange eye once more and bowed. Buckbeak sank to his scaly knees and then stood up again. Harry grinned as began to fumble with the rope tying Buckbeak to the fence. Rosie seemed to know what was happening as she kept silent and moved further away from the humans and Hippogriff.
"…sentenced to execution by beheading, to be carried out by the Committee's appointed executioner, Walden Macnair…" the Minister's voice drifted from the hut.
"Come on, Buckbeak," Harry murmured, giving Rosie a glance, "come on, we're going to help you. Quietly… quietly…"
"…as witnessed below," the Minister continued. "Hagrid, you sign here…"
Harry threw all his weight onto the rope, but Buckbeak had dug in his front feet.
"Well, let's get this over with," said another voice – likely one of the Aurors – from inside Hagrid's cabin. "Hagrid, perhaps it would be better if you stayed inside–"
"No, I – I wan' ter be with him… I don' wan' him ter be alone–" Hagrid stated, his voice dry.
"He won't be alone. He has that other–"
"Quiet, Macnair," Professor Dumbledore cut off the executioner's comment.
"Buckbeak, move!" Harry hissed, tugging harder on the rope around Buckbeak's neck.
The Hippogriff gave one last long to Rosie before he began to reluctantly walk, rustling his wings irritably. They were still ten feet away from the forest, in plain view of Hagrid's back door.
"Actually, one moment, please, Macnair," came Professor Dumbledore's voice. "You need to sign, too…"
Buckbeak snapped his beak and walked a little faster.
"Harry, hurry!" Both Harper and Hermione whispered in earnest from the tree line, Harper about ready to dart out and help her brother.
Harry could still hear Professor Dumbledore's voice talking from within the cabin. He gave the rope another wrench and Buckbeak broke into a grudging trot, and they had reached the trees…
"Quick! Quick!" Hermione insisted as both she and Harper now darted out from behind her trees, seizing the rope too and adding their weight to make Buckbeak move faster. Harry looked over his shoulder; they were now blocked from sight; they couldn't see Hagrid's Garden at all.
"Stop!" He whispered to the pair. "They might hear us–"
Hagrid's back door had opened with a bang. Harry, Harper, Hermione and Buckbeak stood quite still; even the Hippogriff seemed to be listening intently.
"Where is it?" The Minister called out. "Where is the beast?"
"It was tied here!" Macnair called out furiously. "I saw it! Just here!"
"How extraordinary…" there was a note of amusement in Professor Dumbledore's voice.
"The other one! It must have freed its mate!" Stated one of the Aurors.
"Nonsense," Professor Dumbledore stated. "Rosie would have had to gnaw at that rope and it's clearly, somehow, been released. Unless you see opposable thumbs on dear Rosie…" Professor Dumbledore chuckled at this.
"Well…" the Minister tried, obviously seeing Professor's Dumbledore's point of view and reasoning.
"Beaky…!" Hagrid now muttered, huskily.
Then, quite suddenly, there was a swishing noise, and the thud of an axe. Macnair, the Executioner, seemed to have swung it into a pumpkin in anger. And then came the howling – but this time they could hear Hagrid's words through his sobs–
"Gone! Gone! Bless his little beak, he's gone! Musta pulled himself free! Beaky, yeh clever boy!" Buckbeak started to strain against the rope, trying to get back to Hagrid. Harry, Harper, and Hermione tightened their grip and dug their heels into the forest floor to stop him.
"Someone untied him!" Macnair was snarling. "You said so yourself, Albus! We should search the grounds, the forest–"
"Macnair, if Buckbeak has indeed been stolen, do you really think the thief will have led him away on foot?" Professor Dumbledore asked, still sounding amused. "Search the skies, if you must… Hagrid, I could do with a cup of tea. Or a large brandy."
"O' – o' course, Professor," Hagrid stated, sounding weak with happiness. "Come in, come in…"
With the scene coming to an end, the three students looked at each other, unable to believe they'd gotten away with saving the Hippogriff. Harper silently wondering to herself if Dumbledore had been planning this or if he was just realizing it now what must have happened.
"Come on," Hermione's voice broke their silence, "let's get to the Whomping Willow."
With that, the three travelled the long way round, inside the tree line of forest to where the Whomping Willow was, just in time to see Sirius drag Ron off beneath the thrashing plant.
"Ouch," Harry muttered, seeing himself getting struck by one the tree branches now, his past-self trying to reach the knot in the tree.
"Hey, where did the dagger come from?" Hermione, however, asked as she saw past-Harper avoid being thrown around by the willow by using a dagger to slice at the branches.
Their Harper chuckled and took the dagger out of its hiding place on her leg. "Have you had that all year…?" Hermione asked.
"With the trouble we get into yeah," Harper said putting it away.
"And you never thought to mention it after I did the Ravenclaw trial which involved that very dagger?" Hermione asked, her eyes on the blade, recognizing it. It was a unique design for a dagger after all.
"Well… I… hey, look," Harper avoided Hermione's question as the tree momentarily paused in its attack so to let the past Harry and Hermione through. They watched as Remus showed up, past Harper and Neville retreating to the castle and then Professor Snape appeared through the darkness – like an overlarge bat, as ever – and used his wand to levitate a stick to touch the knot in the tree so to gain him access.
"Now we wait," Harry mumbled, knowing it would be a while before they'd come out again as everything went still.
"Hang on, what's that noise…?" Harper spoke up as the three heard the snapping of a branch behind them. Spinning around, all three let out a sigh as they saw that Buckbeak wasn't the only Hippogriff with them now – Rosie had seemingly turned up out of nowhere.
"How did…?" Hermione asked, but Harper had moved over to the female Hippogriff, bowing to it so she could get close.
"She either escaped and followed, or Hagrid set her free to join Buckbeak," Harry stated, smiling as Rosie bowed to his sister, but Buckbeak was already happily moving over to his mate.
"As long as they didn't use Rosie as a bait to get to Buckbeak…" Hermione mused.
"Something tells me Professor Dumbledore would make sure that wouldn't happen," Harper muttered, stepping back as the two Hippogriffs played. Harper was sure now Dumbledore had this planned. He knew of Hermione's time turner. Harper giving a smirk. It was almost Slytherin of the old Headmaster.
-Harry Potter-
In the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest, the trio waited, watching as the Hippogriffs played by catching birds flying away from them.
"At least they're happy," Harry said, watching the two large animals.
"Yes. We got Buckbeak, now we need to rescue Sirius," Harper said.
"But then what… for Sirius?" Harry asked. "I mean, where does he go from there?"
"Harry, did you forget your original plan?" Hermione asked, a little frustrated.
"What? We tell Sirius to go to America," Harry said.
"Oh yeah, he can get an asylum claim," Harper added.
"What if the government refuses to give him asylum, though?" Harry asked.
"Dad can prove his innocence," Harper said. "And he's the godfather to an American citizen. That gives him a leg up."
"Good plan. Hey, we're coming out," Hermione said; Harper and Harry went to look at the scene. "Look… there's Sirius and Harry talking. Me and Professor Snape looking at Ron's leg. Professor Lupin with Pettigrew."
"That's Pettigrew? He looks like a rat in human form too," Harper said, not having seen Peter Pettigrew in his human form.
"Spent too much time as a rat," Harry commented, with a small laugh, remembering this was the first Harper saw Peter Pettigrew. "Things are about to go crazy..." Harry watched as the moon came out from the clouds; Remus began to transform into a werewolf and Pettigrew used the distraction to escape. Harry wanted to go after the rat – but knew he couldn't. Besides, there was something else he wanted to find out. Something he needed to know…
"Come on to the lake," Harry stated.
"Why?" Harper asked, but Harry was already taking the lead as they moved along the edge of the forest, Harry heading to the spot where he and Sirius had been attacked by the Dementors. He had to know.
Harper, and Hermione followed Harry towards the lake with the two Hippogriff following, finding themselves on the other side of where the past Sirius and Harry were.
The wolf form of Remus Lupin was nowhere to be seen, but the sight that did meet the trio was bad enough – tens of Dementors gathering around the unconscious, human form of Sirius Black, and the past Harry; the Dementors obviously having an interest in the young boy more than the Animagus.
"This is awful," Hermione said as she watched the Dementors swarm the two before past-Harry tried to produce his failure of a Patronus.
"You're dying…" Harper remarked to Harry, seeing it pulling the past Harry up by its clawed hands, going to give Harry the Dementor's kiss.
"But…? Of course," Harry realized, suddenly stepping forward before either girl could stop him. "Expecto Patronum!" he called out, not even thinking, but something large and bright shot out of his wand, heading straight across the waters and directly at his past self and Sirius. Its wings wide, it's form bigger than any of its kind, the Phoenix Patronus swooped upon the Dementors, scattering them.
In their fright, one Dementor headed in their direction, panicked by the sudden, powerful Patronus and it was all that Harper could do but produce her wand and cry out "Diffindo!" on instinct.
The Dementor swooped past them, but a small piece of its cloak fluttered down to the trio as Harry's Patronus swooped back to its conjuror, who went to pet the silvery feathers before it faded from view.
"Harry, what did you do?!" Hermione called, grabbing Harry, and pulling him away from the shore so that they weren't seen – Professor Snape had turned up on the other side of the lake to assess the scene.
"I saved us," Harry stated as he noticed Harper pocketing something. "I thought it was… but it doesn't matter because it was me. I saved us! I didn't even think about it because I already knew it would happen."
"He's taking you two back to the castle," Harper spoke up, stopping Hermione from questioning Harry further, her eyes looking across the water to see Professor Snape has conjured two stretchers for the unconscious Harry and Sirius and was now floating them up the grounds, away from the scene and up to the castle. "It's only a matter of time before we need to save Sirius."
"Yes, we need to save Sirius now," Harry stated, glancing at Hermione who seemed conflicted on Harry interfering with the past – not quite understanding that this was how it was supposed to be.
"I'll ride Rosie. Harry, Hermione, you can fly on Buckbeak," Harper stated, patting Rosie's hind now, the Hippogriffs watching the humans with intent.
"Okay, but ten minutes," Hermione stated. "It gives them time to the castle and to get Sirius to the top of the Charms tower."
"Good point," Harry stated, glancing at Harper, glad she had stopped Hermione from complaining further on what she thought was changing the past. It seemed obvious to him now. He was always meant to be here, to save himself and Sirius, and there was some strange comfort in that knowledge.
They waited in comparable silence as Hermione seemed to count down to the minute they needed to depart, Harry helping Hermione onto Buckbeak's back early as Harper got onto Rosie's back. He knew Hermione wasn't keen on flying, so it was best she was with one of them.
"It's time," Hermione finally whispered; Harry nodded to Harper as both Hippogriffs kicked off from the ground.
Buckbeak took off with Rosie following. They flew directly up, knowing exactly which tower they needed to head to, landing on the roof directly in front of the cage – which was more like a large jail cell, with stone walls and bars in the front.
"Harry? Hermione…?" Sirius was shocked, but the students didn't waste time, Hermione blasting the lock on the door for it to open for Harry's godfather. "You're Harry's sister… Harper."
"Yes, now come on!" Harper said to the man who seemed astonished. "We don't have all night."
Sirius began to move forward, but the door to the Charms tower itself opened to reveal Diego Caplan; he was holding his wand out. Before they could do anything, a stunner hit him from behind. "Oblivate!" Tonks called after Diego was stunned.
"What…?" Harper was the one to ask this.
"Well, don't just wait there – get out of here! He won't remember anything," Tonks stated as Sirius didn't wait a second more, jumping onto the back of Rosie behind Harper.
"You're letting us go?" Harry asked.
"I can't let my mom's favorite cousin – who is obviously innocent – get his soul sucked out by a Dementor. Besides, this was better than my plan to save him," Tonks said.
"Your mother's favorite cousin?" Sirius asked. "Oh, your Andromeda's daughter!" Sirius said with a smile and Tonks simply gave him a smile back.
"Okay, Tonks, thanks but sorry for this," Hermione said, and sent a stunner at Tonks.
"Why did you do that?" Harry asked as they kicked off from the roof to take to the skies once more.
"Plausible deniability for her," Hermione explained as they swooped the castle to land in the courtyard below.
"Well then, you three…" Sirius said with a smile as they reached the cobbles, and he slid off the Hippogriff, the other three getting back to their feet at the same instance.
"Here," Hermione now said, holding out the wand she had taken from Ron earlier – or will do in a few minutes. "It's an extra. Don't ask." Sirius didn't ask as he took the wand.
"Sirius, listen here and listen good," Harry said, grabbing his godfather's attention. "Take Buckbeak and Rosie and head to America – with a rest stop at Iceland or Greenland, at top speed the two should get there in a few days."
"The magical reserve unit protecting our boarders will stop you. Do not fight them," Harper added.
"Yes, do not fight them," Harry repeated, Sirius listening intently to this. "Toss the wand to them, put your hands up."
"And tell them you're requesting asylum," Harper said.
"Then you will ask for your lawyer. Timothy Evans from the Arizona law firm 'Spellman, Winchester, and Evans'. Got it?"
"Go to America, toss the wand, ask for asylum and Tim," Sirius said with a nod.
"Good, then I'll see you soon," Harry stated, backing up to give the Hippogriffs room.
"Wait, what happened to the other boy? Ron?" Sirius asked urgently.
"He's going to be okay – Madam Pomfrey says she'll fix him up," Hermione was the one to say this, but Sirius was still staring down at Harry.
"How can I ever thank–" Sirius tried.
"GO!" Harry, Harper, and Hermione shouted as one, and Sirius chuckled, turning Buckbeak around, facing the open sky.
"We'll see each other again," Sirius now said.
"Of course, we will – in America," Harry stated, aware it must be close now to the time they'd originally left.
"You are – truly – your father's son, Harry…" Sirius stated, and with that, he squeezed Buckbeak's sides with his heels. Harry, Harper, and Hermione jumped back as the enormous wings rose once more and the Hippogriff took off into the air.
"Rosie, go with your mate," Harper now told the other Hippogriff, hitting the creature affectionately in the rump as Rosie gave a head nod and took to the skies herself.
"We need to be back in the Hospital Wing," Hermione now said as the two Hippogriffs and one rider vanished into the darkness of the night. Not wasting another second, she took the lead as they charged into the castle, Harry and Harper taking up the rear.
"Hermione – what'll happen – if we don't get back inside – before Dumbledore locks the door?" Harry panted, surprised at how fast she was going now to make it in time.
"I don't want to think about it!" Hermione moaned, checking her watch again. "One minute!"
They had already reached the end of the corridor with the Hospital Wing entrance. "Okay – I can hear Dumbledore," Hermione said tensely. "Come on, Harry, Harper!"
Now they crept along the corridor. The door opened. Professor Dumbledore's back appeared.
"I am going to lock you in," they heard the headmaster saying. "It is five minutes to midnight. Miss Granger, three turns should do it. Good luck."
Professor Dumbledore backed out of the room, closed the door, and took out his wand to magically lock it.
Panicking, Harry, Harper, and Hermione ran forwards. Professor Dumbledore looked around, and a wide smile appeared under the long silver moustache. "Well?" He said quietly.
"We did it!" Hermione said breathlessly.
"Sirius has gone on Buckbeak…" Harry added.
"Rosie went with them," Harper provided, too.
Professor Dumbledore beamed at them.
"Well done. I think –" he listened intently for any sound within the Hospital Wing. "Yes, I think you've gone, too. Get inside – I'll lock you in –"
Harry, Harper, and Hermione slipped back inside the room. It was empty except for Ron and Neville who were both looking very confused. The lock clicked behind them,
"But…." This was Neville looking at them. "You just…"
"How?" Ron added, seeming confused. "You were there and now…" he pointed to where the trio had been when they'd used the Time Turner to where they were now.
"Oh, come off it. No one can be in two places at once," Harper said with a smirk, moving forward, toward the bed she'd been in before.
"Right, that's just impossible," Harry said with a laugh back; feeling happier than he had in a while.
"Completely impossible," Hermione added with a smile herself.
The next moment, Madam Pomfrey came striding back out of her office. "Did I hear the headmaster leaving? Am I allowed to look after my patients now?" She asked, her bad attitude at this moment not swaying Harry's good mood. "What are you three doing out of bed?" She added, moving forward and shooing Harry toward the bed he'd been in earlier.
He didn't complain though. He knew she was fussy and now that Sirius Black was free and heading for America, the world just seemed a better place.
Post Chapter Note: Wow. Well, I hope you enjoyed our take on the third book/film's time travelling – again, a good merger of both the book and the film. I preferred Sirius being in the cage/cell too, as that's also a reference to Hogwarts Legacy, where said cage appeared.
