My heart was pounding,I thought it was going to leap out of my chest. I was running faster then I thought possible.Nami had I tight hold on my hand."Hey Luffy I know now's not really the time,but how about we take a picture together,and put it in that locket I gave you!"Nami shouted over the alarms."Don't we need a camera?"Just as I said that Nami pulled out a camera."Well thats convenient,how did you get it?"I asked."I found it with the locket!"
We quickly took a picture together,after the photo printed,I turned my finger into scissors somehow, and cut it to fit into the locket."Wow,how many powers do you have?!"Nami asked amazed. "I have no idea,that's the third one I've seen,and isn't the limit three!"I shouted over the alarms."For some reason that doesn't sit well with me, anyway we need to get rid of these cuff bracelets!"
"How are we going to do that!" I shouted."Try using one the those abilities you used!"She shouted. I did as she said I went to touch my cuff bracelet,but something unexpected happened.It froze all the way through and shattered the bracelet.But how that would go up to four devil fruit powers and that's almost unheard of."Cool is that your third ability?"Nami asked."I don't know..."
"What do you mean you don't know,oh whatever if you could get yours off then you can get mine off too!"She held out her wrist,at the moment we were running so it was going to be hard.When I finally did touch hers,nothing happened."What happened?"She asked disappointment clearly in her eyes. I don't know what I did but it didn't make to much sense,so I had to think of something else.The was until Nami got frustrated and tugged on the bracelet.And guess what it stretched,like rubber.So she just pulled it over her hand.
Her expression was hard yet confused,then realization hit her face.But was soon replaced with a sad yet determined frown.I had no clue what was going though her head but whatever it was had to do with whatever my powers were.Garp had said something about my powers the last time I saw him but I never made much sense out of it. "Stop right there experiments 506 and 197!"We heard a guard in the hallway in front of us shout.There were also many foot steps behind us.
"This is bad what are we going to do?"I said worriedly."Crash and destroy."Nami said quietly as she turned to a wall and held her hand out.The wall exploded,revealing we were on at least the 45th floor,and it also showed the outside world."That's awesome,I'm guessing that's your devil fruit power."I said impressed. She looked at me,the guards were almost here."I'm so sorry Luffy,I can't go with you."She was crying hard."What do you mean we promised we'd leave together!"
Right after I said that, she kissed me on the lips and then shoved me out of the hole she made in the side of the building.I was in pure shock."Luffy I love you."Right after she said that one of the guards shot her right through the chest.
"NOOOO!!!"I screamed in absolute horror.At that point a guard tried to catch me before I fell out of reach.But he was to late and I was falling to what I assumed was my death.I braced myself for impact,but when I hit the ground I just bounced."Attention all units experiment 506 has escaped,I repeat experiment 506 has escaped!"The loud speakers went off.
I didn't have time to think,so I started running,luckily I fell from i high enough distance I went right over the fence.I kept running,I ran for 2 hours,till eventually I ran into a city,the buildings weren't very tall but they went up two to three stories at least.There was a river nearby,but it was blood red,and I didn't want to mention it before but the place reeked of death and chemicals,I can't stay out in the open like this.
So I went into what looked like an old tailor shop.There was cloths, shoes,goggles,belts,cloaks,jewelry,undergarments, socks,there where even a few weapons.I didn't really remember what normal people wear,then my thoughts went to my father.He always wore clothes that makes him look like a mysterious warrior of the apocalypse.So I wanted to go for a similar look.
