Three months have passed of me and Sabo going from island to island and still nothing!We decided to stay on the low,since there is no telling what people would do.
Eventually we landed on grandpa Garps island,not somewhere we wanted to be but here we are!We looked around until we reached a part of town that had a bunch of bars,we decided to check out Dead Man's Tavern first.But when we enter it was completely empty except for one person,he had a clown nose and blue hair.
"Excuse me sir?"I approached him slowly,if there is one thing i've learned these past few months,it's that most people aren't friendly.
"Eh,what do you want kid!" Ok he's not nice,but he isn't trying to kill me so far.
"I was wondering if you perhaps saw a kid,about three years younger then us with black messy hair?"He looked at me like I was weird.
"You're going to have to give me a name kid,description isn't enough, especially one as bad as the one you just gave me." I sighed but decided it was the only way to see if he knew him.
"His name is Luffy,he looks a lot like him."I pointed to Sabo.He seemed to be lost in thought,until a look of understanding crossed his face.
"Yeah yeah,I have actually."
"Wait really!?"Me and Sabo shouted out at the same time.
"Yeah,he came in here about 4 years ago with some guy with a blond hairstyle,sort of looked like a pineapple…."He said as he put his hand on his chin.
"Do you know where he might be?"Sabo chimed in.
"Well last time I checked the guy he was with was a Revolutionary."
"Was?"I inquired.
"Yeah,he was,but that entire Revolutionary bass was destroyed just yesterday."
"WHAT?!"Me and Sabo shouted in shook.
"Who destroyed it,and why?"Sabo asked after calming down a bit.
"I'm not really sure,but whoever it was did it in a matter of minutes, so they have to have some crazy power.And I think I might know who did it,but you wouldn't want to get involved with him since he's immortal."The man explained.
"Can you please tell us,we won't go after him,we just want to know who to avoid."Sabo you sly dog.
"Well….ok if you insist,his name is Soul he's an old drinking buddy of mine,he has white hair and three scars going across his left eye,he's also a well renowned pirate.If you see him avoid him at all cost,he likes pretty young men like yourselves,also he's able to take away powers."
"Duely noted."Sabo said as he grabbed my wrist."Come on Ace let's go."And just like that Sabo dragged me out of the bar.After we went down the street quite a ways we ducked into an ally way and flew up on top of a roof.
"If we just got here a day or two sooner!" I stomped in anger.
"Ace he could still be alive,remember what that guy said,this Soul guy likes pretty young men,so maybe he spared Luffy for that reason."Hah for once Sabos looking on the bright side normally he's the negative one and i'm the positive one.
"Wait a second,Sabo,remember that pirate ship we saw three months ago?"
"Yeah what about it?"
"Well that guy said that Soul is a pirate with three scars going across his left eye.That pirate flag had a skull with three scars on the left eye!"I shouted in realization.
"Wait are you serious?!"
"Yeah,now all we have to do is fly over the sea and look for that ship,that's the only way we're go to get an answer on what happened to Luffy yesterday.I don't care what that guy said, i'm not going to let this opportunity slip away from us!"Sabo looked a bit skeptical.
"But what if what he said is right,Ace we aren't that strong. We depend way to much on our abilities.So if we do hunt this guy down we have to be careful…."
"Well yeah he's really strong so duh we have to be careful."
"Ace did you already forgot,you literally just talked about it!"
"Talked about what?"
"ACE,he said Soul likes pretty young boys what do you think that means?"
"That he likes to take care of really young kids."What is Sabo trying to say here,i'm confused.
"NO,it means he's a pedophile!You dunce,he likes to do IT WITH LITTLE BOYS!"
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhh,oh I hope Luffy got away from him if he is still alive."
"Well in any case we need to get going,there's no telling how long it'll take to find his ship."Sabo did have a point there,the oceans huge,even with us flying over it for days we may never find his ship.
We then took flight and went towards the ocean,he shouldn't be to far,but we don't know which direction he went,this is going to take forever.
5 hours later
"It's official,he's nowhere."
"Wow way to be positive Ace."
"We've been searching for hours,and i'm hungry,let's just go to that island,"I pointed to a nearby island"and take a break my wings are killing me."I wined,because I really was tired from flying around for hours.
"Fine but only for the night."Sabo spoke in an annoyed tone but I could tell he was tired too.We flew down to that island,which was uninhabited,as we landed we disbanded our wings,they need a break.
We explored for a bit,there was nothing really interesting on the island just a few fairys and nomes.But as we got deeper I had an intense and disturbing feeling we were being watched,but I shook it off as my imagination.We set up a small camp and set up a few barriers(do to being mystics they have magic). But the feeling of being watched never went away, it just got worse.
"Is something wrong Ace?"Sabo inquired.
"Oh uh,it's nothing just thinking about Luffy is all,i'm just worried about him……."
"You and me both,it's been how long since we've seen him."
"Nine years,do you think he's changed much?"
"Most likely,I mean look at me and you,you went from always angry to a winey brat-"
"HEY,i'm older then you,you can't call me a brat you're the brat!" Sabo just gave me a disapproving look.
"You're only older then me by a minute,don't get full of yourself. Iva has said this to you dozens of times."
"And you're right we both did change,you turned from a snarky jerk into a complete know it all."
"Those are similar things Ace,besides I only act like a know it all because I am made of literal technology."He got me there i'll have to admit,I mean he can transform into a robot or flesh and bone at anytime.
"Fine then how about a-"
SNAP
"What was that?" Sabo whispered.
"It sounds like it came from the east of us."I whispered back.
"Ace that's west."
"Shut up now isn't the time for that!" I whisper yelled. We stopped talking and listened,it was dark so we couldn't really rely on vision.Nothing happened for a few seconds,but after awhile we heard footsteps approaching us,and someone called out to us.
"Hello young men."
"Who are and what do you want?"I shouted into the darkness.
"Nothing,just to have a friendly chat."
"I highly doubt that,is there something you want?"
"You two mentioned a name….a name i'm very familiar with…." They called out from the shadows.
"Who, Iva?"Sabo smacked me on the back of the head.
"No….. I don't even know who that is,no i'm talking about Luffy."
"You know Luffy?"I questioned,and Sabo smacked me again.
"Would you stop doing that."I whisper yelled at Sabo.
"Stop talking to them,you are awful for giving away sensitive information."Sabo bared his teeth at me.
"Am not!"
"Are to!"
"Am not!"
"Are to!"
"AM NOT!"
"ARE TO!"
"Boys~ STOP IT!"Whoever the person was got closer to us while we were arguing,and they grabbed both of our heads and slammed us into the ground,then pulled us back up.
"You two are going to tell me how you know Luffy,last time I checked he didn't have anyone that cares about him." She started to drag us by our heads,whoever this was,was a beast.
"What do you know?!Huh,stranger who listens into other's conversations!"
"ACE ,and hear me now because this is importantSHUT THE F*K UP!"Sabo yelled at me,and despite who ever was dragging us we started to try and hit each other.The woman just sighed,and continued to drag us while we fought.
By the time we got to the shore,me and Sabo had scrapes and bruises all over our faces.The woman then threw us in front of him,and I finally got a good look at her.Long black hair, cold expression,Mystic kingdom soldier attire,with several metals,this is Doll,Garps right hand,and our grandmother.Me and Sabo immediately stopped fighting and got into battle positions.
"Do you two seriously think you can hurt me?I didnt become Garps right hand by sitting around."Doll smiled at us cockily.
"Now you two with tell me how to find luffy."Me and Sabo both paused.
"You were ease dropping on us right?"Sabo asked.
"Well that much is clear,now stop dancing around my question!" She pulled out a whip and hit the ground next to me.
"YOURE A PHYCO,and clearly you weren't ease dropping very long because you would have heard that we are looking for him as well!" I stated a bit annoyed.
"You don't want to answer me?Fine then i'll just beat the information out of you!"She then started charging at us.
"Ace remember how far you threw that lightbulb?"Sabo asked randomly,though now isn't a very appropriate time.
"Yeah….,why..?"He then grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and transformed his arm into a projectiles like canon.
"Sabo what are you doing?!"I was very concerned for his thought process.
"I'm a robot she can't torture me,you on the other hand,well that's a different story."Sabo looked at me with a sour expression.
"Can't we-"I didn't even have a chance to finish my sentence and he launched me ten thousand feet in the air.
"TALK ABOUT THIS!!!!SABO WHY?!?!??" As I shouted this I saw Doll grabbed Sabo before he could even try to escape,and Doll shouted out to me.
"DONT WORRY HES IN SAFE HANDS,AND LUFFY WILL BE IN SAFE HANDS WITH THE KING VERY SOON!"Our grandmother is an evil witch!
"I FEEL LIKE THAT IS A LIE!" I couldn't hear what she shouted next since at this point I was way to far away,and i'm quite literally IN THE CLOUDS!
I keep flying up until I reached the sky islands,the one I landed on was buzzing with life,there was even a town.I looked down towards where I just came from and I could see the island,and what I believed to be one of Garps ships.Dang it Sabo is captured,and we've have yet to find Luffy, I need to find them.But there was one problem,i over worked my wings for to long.When I tried to summon them it was immense pain,so I need to find another way down.I guess i'm going to have to head into town.
I walked around town,and I learned that the sky islands weren't like the main lands.This place was thriving,nothing was destroyed,in fact everything look brand new,and everyone here looked happy. The dragons were kind,and the phoenixes didn't seem to mind anyone on the island.It was rather…..peaceful,which is something that isn't common anymore.Well anyway,I need to find a way down, so I decided to talk to the towns folk.At first they were skeptical, but I showed that I meant no harm,and they left me be.
"Excuse me sir is there anyway down from this island." I asked a sickly looking man,he looked at me for a few seconds.
"Well you could ask captain for a ride,we were just visiting this island. He's over by that shop,you could go ask,but the likely hood of him helping is very low."He said as he fell to the ground,looking like he would die any second.
"Ok,thanks."
I walked over to the shop he pointed at,well it was more like an outside market area,but it wasn't very big.Now I just had to find this captain guy.He didn't tell me he name or what he looked like,so I wandered around hoping i'd find him somehow.I walked by this shop that was selling some old artifacts,and as I walked by I wasn't looking in front of me and I ran into someone's back.I looked up and he turned around and I froze in place.
In front of me was the person who made dad go nuts trying to hide me and Sabo,he's the reason we were locked underground for so many years.The guy whos had his eyes on me since I was nine,Marshal D. Teach.I didn't say a anything when he turned around,I just put my hat down hoping he didn't recognize me somehow.
"Hey kid you need to watch were you're going."Was he that guys captain,I didn't know Teach is a pirate,Ugh i'm such an idiot, and now I'm in this crappy situation.
"Sorry sir I just got distracted."He examined me for a moment.
"Wait a second,you look awfully familiar,do I know you?" Quick Ace think fast.
"No do you know me?"Haha,nailed it.He didn't look all that impressed,but he did notice the panic in my voice,and in one quick motion swiped my hat off my head.
"We'll I'll be d*med if it isn't Monkey D. Ace,finally come out of hiding did ya?"I was in shock,I didn't know what to do,do I run? I mean he has the ability to pull in power users,but what other choice did I have,i'll just turn to water and travel through the clouds.So I made a break for it,I heard him shout behind me.
"MEN AFTER HIM!"Teach shouted,I could tell he was chasing me too, I was traveling under people,since it was a busy market it was packed.People weren't even moving out of they way,I just had to either go around people or push through.And going around people wasn't an option when Teach and his men were shoving through the crowd,so I had to do the same,anything else would've taken to much time.
Once I was finally out of the crowd,I started to swim as fast as I could and even went through ally ways to try and lose them,but it wasn't working.And I knew I had to lose them somehow,I mean i'm on a sky island,where am I going to go?!Then my worst fear happened,I was swimming but had to stop since I made it to the edge of the island,I turned back to normal and looked over the edge,then I looked back at Teach.
"We'll well well,looks like the pretty prince has nowhere to run,why don't we do this civily,you come with me willingly,or I break your legs and force you to."He not giving me any options here,there was only one other choice I had,and that was to jump,but i'm not immortal,the moment i hit the water i'm dead,even if I transform into water the landing will definitely kill me.I dont know what to do,but I guess i'll just have to come up with a plan,not something i'm great at but it's my only shot.
"Fine i'll go with you,it's not like your giving me any option….." I really don't want to go with him,but I need off this island and that's the only way.
"Glad your seeing things my way Ace."He grabbed my wrist and started pulling me along with him,and his Hand is huge,it literally engulfed my wrist and arm up to my elbow.I didn't want to but I just walked along with him,his men surrounding me.This is definitely not an ideal situation.
"So where's that brother of yours,I thought you two would never be apart from each other."Why on earth would I tell him anything,I didn't say a word,and he just laughed,I may not like this man but at least he wasn't trying to hurt me or my family.If he was that would be an even bigger issue.
"Don't feel like telling me huh,well in any case he's not in the way of me getting you,so it doesn't matter."I still want to strangle him, him being violent or not.
"How did you get up here anyway,I don't remember you being able to fly,i'm just curious,and how and why did you leave the base?"
"I don't think i'm inclined to tell you that."I snarled.
"Watch it Ace you are in no position to back talk,ah here we are." I looked ahead of us and saw a floating ship,it was just floating there casually.
"Let's go love."Im going to kill this man one day I swear it!
