I'm no expert,but i'm pretty sure that's not how you propose to someone."I said in pain and anger,Law just looked at me amused,and then leaned down where he was inches away from my face.
"LEt mE KiLl hIM!"Coarpse are you ok?
"And? It's not like you're going to do anything about it,besides who cares how it's done,as long as we get married I don't care.Your opinion doesn't matter."I went to slap him only for him to catch my hand.
"Luffy stop holding me back let me kill him!"At least I can understand him better now,but his voice was still all sorts of messed up,he sounded like a dog on steroids but with a twisted human voice on helium?It doesn't make any sense but that's what he sounded like,it creeped me out.
"Now Luffy no need for that,i'd hate to have to punish you,I am the strongest in the world after all."Why are all these creepy old men obsessed with causing me harm?! I looked at him and tore my wrist away from his grip and slapped his hand away.
"You don't scare me,i've met someone who is much stronger then you or anyone on this entire planet.He literally got his arm bit off, and he just didn't give a crap and grew it back!You think your strong, then prove your strength against him and not a literal CHILD!"He didn't look to happy I said this.
"I keep forgetting you're a child."Finally you're speaking normally again,mind telling me what the voice was all about?"No."
"NO ONE IS STRONGER THEN ME!"He then took a step back to regain his temper."Ok,Luffy,who is he so I can prove to you i'm the strongest?"Oh my gosh,IT ACTUALLY WORKED!My plan was to pin them against each other,you know two birds one stone.
"Its Soul and I bet he could wipe the floor with you!"
"He definitely could and would,and wants to."How do you know that?"Call it a hunch."So much for explanations.
"WIPE THE FLOOR WITH ME?ILL WIPE THE FLOOR WITH HIM,AND YOULL BE BEGGING ME TO MARRY YOU!"Thats never going to happen,and not just because I wouldn't ever do that,i'd also be escaping while they fought!My plan Is full proff,they are both really strong so that fight will go on for quite awhile!
"Ok~but I highly doubt you can beat him~"Ok now i'm just having fun with him.
"We'll see about that,but it'll have to wait."Wait…..NO,go fight him NOW!
"What to scared to fight him!"I mocked.
"Nothing of a sort,I just can't fight him this week do to the blood moon ball."The blood moon what?!Monsters actually celebrate during the blood moon,what a bunch of dicks!
"They are monsters Luffy,the blood moon is specifically for them." So they are still A*holes.
"What's the blood moon ball?"
"It's a tradition us monsters do during the blood moon,it's where you dance and basically just have a good time."Law started to explain.
"Several people die during the blood moon!"I yelled in anger.
"Why do you think we celebrate?"What he said shook me,he really is like everyone says…..he's a sadistic vampire with no care for life.
"He is a vampire ,of course he doesn't care how his food feels!" I guess that is true.
"But this year will be ……. different,you see I normally just drink the night away,but…..you're here now,so I can truely celebrate." I didn't like what he was saying at all.It had way to many implications!
"What's that supposed to mean?!"
"Have you ever seen a ball before?"I shook my head no." Well then…….this will be fun,I take it you never learned how to dance?"
"No…….."
"Well then,I will take you to my dance instructor Zoro.I just hope he isn't to lost."Dance instructor?!This is an apocalypse,who has time to learn how to dance?! Nevertheless Law took my hand and dragged me out the door.He looked in a few rooms till after looking for about twenty minutes we finally found him lost in the main kitchen.
"How did I get here,awell is there any booze in here?"He man with mint green hair asked himself,he didn't notice us yet since we were right behind him.
"Zoro honestly,I don't know how you keep getting lost you've been working here for over two hundred years,I thought you'd have it down by now."Law stated clearly unimpressed,Zoro didn't even jump,he just turned around.
"I'm not lost,the hallways just keep moving,anyway who's that with you?"Zoro asked Law.
"This is Luffy I need you to teach him how to dance before the blood moon ball."
"Whats the point of me learning to dance?"I asked,but I was properly ignored as Law and Zoro didn't even acknowledge me,rude.
"Because you're awful at it,duh,that's why they want to teach you." You're not helping.
"Which dance do you want me to teach him your majesty?"Zoro asked,see completely ignored!
"Teach him the bolero,something basic,I want it to be an elegant night?"What the crap nugget does that mean,I want to ask,but I have a feeling i'll just be ignored again.
"Oh look at that,you can learn!"If I could i'd punch you!
"Of coarse your majesty,when do you want the lessons to start?"
"Right after we go to the talor to get is measurements for his suit,I need him to learn it as fast as possible the blood moon ball is only six days away,teach him four hours a day,no breaks unless I say otherwise,do you understand?"Zoro simply bowed and said "Yes Sire."Four hours a day with no breaks!These people are insane,and isn't learning to dance a bit hard?I mean I guess I won't know i've never danced before…..I read in a book that people would often dance out of happiness or enjoyment,I haven't truly felt those feelings in nine years……
Law yanked on my wrist and dragged me down the castle halls once more.I'm guessing we're going to this Tailor he was talking about.It wasn't to far,When Law opened the door i saw a man with blond hair that covered half his face and he had curly eyebrows, strange.
"You don't exactly look normal there either Luffy."What's that supposed to mean?!
"Doflamingo,I need you to make two suits for him,make it the best ones the world has ever seen,one for the ball,and the other for our wedding after all he will be my bride."I ain't no girl! How dare he call me his bride!I was pissed already but now I was even more so.
"HE IS SO DEAD!"Why do you care,all you've done is make my life miserable,now all of a sudden you don't want something bad to happen to me?Im so confused…
"WHAT?!Its not a cute girl,i'm a bit disappointed I was looking forward to tailor a wedding dress for a hot chick,not a suit for a little boy."Doflaminho wined,and now that I think about it didn't Chopper say he was friends with a Doflamingo? If so then this guy is a vampire….
"You're just a womanizing pervert,who cares what gender they are just do as I say!"Law shouted and Doflamingo immediately stopped moping and straightened up,probably in fear.
"So he hires pansy's then,got it!"
"Yes sire!When do you want me to start?"
"Later tonight,there is something I need to get from Luffy real quick." What was Law implying,it seemed Doflamingo understood what he meant but I was still confused.Law started dragging me out of that room and started heading to the room they were keeping me in.Laws hand got tighter and tighter around my wrist,I wanted to say something, but what use would that be.
"Vampire."Oh,right.
Once we got to the room Law dragged me to the bed and threw me on it,at this moment I started to panic. I didn't have time to think as he pushed me down and stuck a needle in my neck.Immediately after he took it out of my neck he went to the other side of my neck and bit down hard.Ok I know he's stronger then me but i'm still going to fight back.I started to push and yell at him to get the f*ck off of me.He did the opposite and held me even tighter,sucking away on my neck,getting whatever nutrition in my blood that he needs.Apparently it's a lot,he was drinking my blood for over two hours,I found out the the drug he stuck me with was to multiply my blood cells.
He finally stopped and looked down at me,he smiled cruelly and I glared at him.
"Now let's go get you started on your lessons."
"OH,IM GOING TO TEACH YOU A LEASON!" Coarpse please calm down,we need to find a way out of here,and fighting him head on isn't a good idea.
SIX DAYS LATER
This place sucks,everyone here sucks,Coarpse sucks,my life SUCKS!The dance lessons were impossible,my instructor keep falling asleep and getting lost,so I hardly learned anything,and Coarpse isn't talking normally anymore,he's just angry all the time now.Thing is Zoro doesn't seem like a bad guy,the first time I went to the dance lessons he asked if I was alright since it was obvious Law had attacked me.The tailor for my suits wasn't that bad either,he was just a bit of a womanizer, but I could tell he had a good heart.How do people like Zoro and Doflamingo get stuck as servents to Law.And the way Law treats them pisses me off,any time they did something even slightly wrong they were punished,brutally.I've seen these punishments a few time,it wasn't anything anyone should ever go through,i've actually lived through some of the punishments he dished out before,so I know just how cruel it is.He made Zoro dance on swords for mumbling under his breath,I remember once the guards at the torture facility made me stand on pins for an hour for fighting back.He made Doflamingo take the cigars of all the other servents and he had to put them all out on his thighs,The guards did the same thing to me,but they put them out on my eye lids,neck,and private area..It was horrifying to watch,and it terrifyied me,if I don't find a way out of here soon,Law might actually marry me.
The idea of being married to this psycho path made me kinda wish to be caught by Garp or throw my self in the ocean again. Heck at this point I wouldn't mind being locked away for the rest of my life,I just need to get away from him.The only person that I could think of that was even more cruel then Law was Soul. Law was scary yes,but Soul made me feel a different kind of fear,one I never want to feel again.His cruelty was on another level,and I know that I haven't even seen it at it's worst yet,nor do I want to.
"Luffy it's time to get up,the ball starts tonight and you need to be ready!"Zoro yelled as he opened the door.I groaned and rolled over not getting up,Zoro sighed.
"Doflamingo made breakfast."And just like that I was up and getting dressed,normally food didn't matter to me,but Doflamingo's cooking was something I wasn't going to skip out on,his cooking was so good that I haven't missed a meal since he started cooking for me.He seemed to enjoy doing it to,and seeing him smile warmed my heart.And do to me actually eating I didn't look that malnourished anymore,the Revs had food but not much.
"Also a bit of a warning his majesty isn't in a good mood today, some one broke into the treasure room last night."Zoro whispered to me.
"The treasure room?The room with all the weird objects with seals on them?"I questioned.
"Yeah,they took something,his majesty and the others won't tell me what it was though."Huh,that doesn't make sense,what's in that room that Law wouldn't want to be stolen.I thought of it for awhile, but then I remembered,the sky crystal sword!One of the only things that can kill Law.But who took it,and why,were the planning an assassination?
"Doflamingo will be in here shortly with your food,Law said he would eat with you,but with everything happening he can't make it,but he will see you at the blood moon ball.He seems pretty adamant on spending it with you."Zoro doesn't know,and neither does Doflamingo, Law hasn't told them and I don't know if I want to.They have no clue i'm related to king Newgate and king Garp,I don't know how they would respond.
"Yeah….."
"Well anyway I better get going don't want to piss off the higher ups by being late."And with the he ran out the door,probably getting lost immediately,A couple minutes pass and Doflamingo knocked on my door,he had a cart full of food,some of which i've never seen before.Doflamingo always made sure I got normal food,not what monsters eat.
"Ready for the ball?"Doflamingo asked while I ate,I paused.
"How could I be,i'm nervous as h*ll and i'm going to be spending it with Law."I stared at the pasta I was eating,and I didn't even notice it,I was crying.
"I see,i'm sorry Luffy I wish there was something I could do,but as you know i'm powerless against king Law,Zoro is one of the strongest guys I know and even he can't light a candle to him. So i'm sorry we can't help you."I wasn't expecting them to,i've seen some of Laws raw power already and it wasn't something I wanted to try and fight with.
"Anyway,duty calls,I have a kitchen to run,and Viola will be down here at 4pm to get you ready for tonight since the ball starts at 6pm,Law isn't to happy we can't remove the hat but says he'll make due."Doflamingo quickly stated as he ran out the door.
I honestly keep forgetting about the hat,I don't even know why Shanks put it on my head,was it some form of mockery?Well in any case it seems i'm stuck with it for now.
Several hours have gone by now,it was around 3:45pm,almost time to get ready.But I wasn't ready at all,mentally that is,today is my birthday,something bad always happens on my birthday. Garp kidnapped me on my 4th,my next seven birthdays were filled with torture,the one I had with the revs,someone died out of nowhere,was I cursed to never have a good birthday.And this one is already going awful,i'm stuck with one of the most insane individuals in the world.But something tells me this ball…..it ain't going to be pretty,and that goes for the monsters too,I just have a gut feeling something was wrong.And it has to do with that sword that most likely got stolen last night.Who would steal it and how, is it someone in this kingdom,or is it someone from another island?
My thoughts were interrupted when Viola entered my room, I was just laying in bed staring at the ceiling.
"Come on Luffy I know you don't want to do this,but unfortunately you have no choice in the matter,King Laws word is absolute." I know,Zoro told me what happened to a guy that didn't do as Law wanted,he ate him alive,and he ate him slowly.Zoro said his screams are forever engrained in his mind.That's why no one defys Law,He's to strong,and his punishments are severe.
