We were out of the tunnel,but there was a bit of a problem, there were Krakens everywhere,they must guard the castle! They spotted us and started to attack,Doflamingo ,Usopp and me dodged,but Viola was to slow and got crushed by one of the tentacles.Her blood was everywhere,I couldn't bring myself to continue looking.
"VIOLA NO!"Doflamingo was obviously upset,that was his girlfriend after all,I understand that feeling all to well,and just like last time I could do nothing to stop it.
"Doflamingo we have to get out of here now,we can grieve once we've escaped!"Usopp tried reasoning with him,but Doflamingo ignored him.
"ILL KILL YOU YOU OVERGROWN SQUID!"Doflamingo let me go and charged at the Kraken,which the Kraken just swung a tenticle at him and hit him dead on,his head snapped at an angle and I could tell he died on impact.
"DOFLAMINGO!"I heard Usopp shout as he swam towards me,I was struggling to stay above water.I felt bad that they both died while trying to save me,but at least they died together,which I could tell when Doflamingo changed at the Kraken,that's what he wanted,he wanted to join Viola in death.
Usopp grabbed me and quickly swam us over to the edge of the large moat.The Krakens were to busy eating Viola and Doflamingo to pay us much mind,so we both got away from them.Usopp pulled me over his shoulder and threw me over on the edge of the moat and then pulled himself up.We both stood up quickly and started running,the streets were empty,makes sense after all everyone was in the castle.
There were still explosions happening at the castle but I didn't dare look behind me,I just kept running.I could tell Usopp was sticking as close to me a possible,in case something happened, which I appreciated.Eventually a forest came into view,it was huge,the trees were over 90ft tall,and it was dark since the forest was so dense.We entered the forest,I immediately got an unnerving feeling we were being watched.I looked over to Usopp and he looked like he also had that feeling.Eventually we got to a clearing,we were forced to stop,we were surrounded by a bunch of people?They didn't look like monsters,but they didn't look like anything i've ever seen before.
"Great,humans just what we needed!"Usopp grunted under his breath.
"Humans,what are humans?"I asked quietly,Usopp looked at me surprised.
"Humans a just normal people,they aren't mystics,monsters, or hybrids,but they aren't weak."I still don't really get it.
"Ok you obviously don't get it,what you look like right now we always look like,we don't have a different form."Different form, I have a different form,how was I not aware of this?Usopp then looked at me terrified.
"You don't know how to change to your other form?! It should be second nature,Crap they're getting closer."Second nature, I mean with Corpse gone I have been having strange pains in my back, a little above my butt,and the top of my head.I wasn't paying to much attention to it but a couple minutes ago the pain got worse,at this point it's intolerable.
They humans kept getting closer,they were being very cautious, but it didn't seem like they were being cautious of me.Which was new to me,but if it's not me they are cautious of,it's Usopp,but why would they be cautious of Usopp,maybe it's because he's strong. Actually now that I get a closer look at Usopp he looked like one of these humans,he did say we when he was talking about humans after all.
Then I had the most painful experience i've ever had,which is hard to top,it felt like my back exploded,then my lower back,and finally my head.After the pain settled I felt weak,and everyone was looking at me funny,I looked to Usopp who pulled out a mirror, I HAD WINGS,I also had a long flowy tail,and strange looking horns at the top of my head,and they all had a weird purple glow with what looked like stars,I almost looked atheriol.Is this what Usopp was just talking about,is this my other form,because I don't have any powers without Corpse,so this is my being,what the heck am I?
"WHAT IS THAT THING,take it out men!"One of the humans hollered,they weren't here for me they were here for Usopp for some reason,but it looks like I drew attention to myself by accidently transforming.
They all changed at us,I grabbed Usopp and decided to give my wings a test run,after all wings aren't exactly new to me,they just weren't my own.These ones however are mine,and do to Corpse I now know how to use them.I launched us up into the air,we went so fast we were thousands of feet off the ground in a second. Usopp was clinging onto me for dear life.
"AHHHH,IM GOING TO DIE!"He cried out dramatically,I rolled my eyes,then I looked around,I could barely see Laws castle.
"Umm,Luffy you might want to start moving,some vampires noticed us,and one of them is LAW!"I looked where Usopp was pointing and sure enough a bunch of vampires were flying towards us with Law at the head of them.I booked it,i've never flown as fast as I did in this moment.I made turns,went higher,went lower, but they were still on our tail.
I need a plan,because this isn't working,that's when it occurred to me vampires can't swim,I don't know why but water makes them vaporize!
"Usopp hold your breath,we're going in the water!"I yelled at him, he nodded and I dove straight down,Law and his buddies must have figured out our plan because they dove down and were going even faster.Though I didn't see him before,but Marco was also a part of the group chasing us.He's able to swim,I can't swim,but my wings make up for that,i've tested it out with other wings Corpse created.
We made impact with the water,it hurt,I could tell it also hurt Usopp,but we didn't have a choice,Marco was the only one to persue us.I kept going deeper,my body can handle this but I know Usopp can't,I have to find out a way to make Usopp breathe,wait breathe? I'm breathing underwater,I didn't even notice!
I felt Usopp touch my wing,but it felt odd,I know he touched it but it felt like he was becoming part of it,I looked at him,and his head was inside my wing!
"Luffy can you hear me?!"He's talking how,his head is in my wing.
"Yeah,I can hear you but how?!"I was bewildered,this made no sense at all.
"Luffy you're wings open up to a pocket demention,I can breathe in here,but I need your permission to go fully in!"Ok this is the strangest thing ever.
"Ok,I don't really understand,but sure you have my permission." When I finished saying that,Usopp got completely sucked up by my wing.Good I guess I don't have to worry about him anymore,I wasn't looking in front of me and almost slammed into a sea king,but luckily I dodged,but I guess it's a good thing because Marco didn't see it either,and due to me dodging last second he crashed into it. That should buy me some time.
I swam further into the ocean with no one persuing me,and after a few hours I finally reached land,and I threw myself up onto it. My wings were heavy and I was completely drenched.
"Usopp I lost them a few hours ago,and we're on land."Usopp then crawled out of my wing,which I still found freaky.Once he was out he stared at me.
"Luffy,you're a-a you're a Galaxy dragon!"A galaxy dragon,what the heck is that?Usopp saw my confusion and answered my inner termoil.
"A Galaxy Dragon,is a being that can travel through different dimensions and galaxies,and control them,when I went through your wing,there was a waiting room,there was a bed,a couch,tv,a med kit,a kitchen,a bathroom,it was pretty nice,it was nothing like our world,it was peaceful…."Dang I wish I could've seen it,but if I am this galaxy dragon thing then maybe At some point I can.
"Sounds like a nice place,anyway we should figure out where we are,we shouldn't let our guard down."Usopp nodded,then we both cautiously stared to examine the island we landed on.It looked around and it looked like it would be forest for a few miles,heck the island may be deserted for all we know,but there is only one way to find out.Me and Usopp exchanged looks,we then started to explore the forest,it wasn't as big as we thought,and there was actually a town on the other side,it wasn't very big,and it looked moderately peaceful,none of the towns folk even bat an eye at us,probably seeing that we weren't attacking.
There was an abandoned shop in the middle of the town, and when we asked the town's folk if we could run the shop,they agreed since it wasn't getting any use anyway.Usopp and I agreed that we should accept money and trades in case someone didn't have any money.I never did tell Usopp that I can cry tears of gold,he may seem like a nice guy but i'm not taking any chances, after all Marco seemed like a nice guy,and he turned out to be a dick wad.
About a month had passed since me and Usopp started working in this shop it was nice,we each had our own room,there was plenty of food,and it was such a small town that nobody recognized me, and if they did they never said anything,it didn't mean I trusted any of them,oh no,I don't know if i'll ever be able to trust again.There is also the worry about those that are looking for me,Garp is still looking for me,Soul is most likely still looking for me,Law is definitely still looking for me,and i'm pretty sure grandpa Newgate is looking for me now too,though i'm pretty sure he means me no harm unlike the others.
"Luffy can you take orders for a bit,I need to go out and gather supplies real quick!"Usopp shouted at me from across the hall.
"Yeah I can do it,be careful!"I yelled out to him.It was actually going to be my first time running the shop by myself.Usopp left and since no one was in the shop I decided to clean up a bit,there was still a lot of dust so I decided to clean that up.Then I heard the towns folk making a commotion outside,I decided to look out the window,and I saw a pirate ship,they weren't attacking,but they didn't look friendly.I decided to stay in the shop,but them being pirates they will probably come in here looking for supplies,or they might try and steal from the shop.
I decided to stay behind the counter,and draw with some crayons I found.It didn't take the pirates long to enter the shop, they were the ugliest bunch i've ever seen,I don't really know what I was expecting though.Soul's crew wasn't pretty but they looked better then these guys.The one guy with the monocle looked at me with confusion.
"What's a kid doing running a shop?"He asked me,I looked at him a bit perturbed.
"That sir isn't any of your business."The pirates didn't seem shocked by my less then friendly attitude,the one fat guy with missing teeth even smiled at me when I gave his friend an attitude.The monocle guy looked at me indifferently and continued to look around.
"Is there something you guys are looking for?"I asked and the fat guy that smiled at me walked up to me,he definitely was the ugliest of the bunch.
"Actually there is,do you perhaps have any pillows or blankets,one of my men doesn't have any."Something about that didn't sit well with me,which didn't make much sense,those are very normal items.
"I'm not sure but I can check in the back if we have any in stock." He nodded and I went to the back to see if we had the items,the entire time I was shaking,I have no idea why that guys creeps me out but he does! I actually did find a pillow and a blanket,and they were in good condition.I went back to the front where the man was,and I checked him in for the items.
"That will be 45.67 please."He grabbed out a wad of cash and placed it on the counter.
"Here kid,keep the change,also this isn't the only thing I came here for,i'm looking for someone maybe you can help me find them they're name is-"He was cut off by Usopp entering the shop.
"Luffy i'm back-oh I didn't realize we had costumers." He was carrying a bag on his back full of supplies,and he looked exhausted.
"Why don't you go put this stuff away,i'll be fine on my own." He nodded and went to the back,passing the pirates,who were being oddly quiet.
"You said you were looking for someone?"I turned my attention back to the fat guy,who was smiling like a mad man,now I was even more uneasy.
"Yeah I am,or at least I was,it just so happens you're the one I was looking for."I immediately went into defensive position.
"Careful i'm not below breaking a few of you fingers."I threatened.
"Such an adittude ,Van Augur,is everything set?"The monocle guy nodded to the fat guy who i'm now realizing is most likely the captain of the crew.
"Who are you people and what do you want,my bounty?" I yelled at them,while still being in my defensive stance.
"Bounty,nah,we're aren't here for your bounty,we're here to help out one of your brothers."I gave him a confused look.
"One of my brothers? No offense but you don't seem like the kind of people either of my brothers like,so now i'll ask,did you hurt them,because if you did-"The fat guy cut me off.
"Relax kid Ace is just fine,I would never let harm fall upon him, though you are right he doesn't like me."That just made me more confused,then a thought occurred to me.
"Did you…….,kidnap him or something?"I wasn't going to dance around the issue.
"Maybe,maybe not,why don't you come with me and find out." I gave him a an angry look.
"Hard pass,but I will be taking Ace away from you!"The monocle guy then pulled something out of his pocket and seemed to be pressing a button.I noticed the air was getting thinner,and they all put on gass masks they had in a bag that they brought in with them.
"We were just going to rob the store with this little trick,but it looks like it's not just going to be supplies we're stealing."I was pissed, to use such an underhanded tactic,I guess that's pirates for you. I heard a thud in the back room,i'm guessing Usopp passed out. I wasn't to far from passing out either,they used a gas that works on any being so it was very potent.
"So why don't you take a small cat nap,zehaha!"The captain suggested while laughing.That's when I remembered I can open up portals to other worlds,as well as teleport myself to a different location.I was just about to open up a portal but for some reason the fat guy grabbed my wrists,and I wasn't able to open one,then as much as I hated it I fell forward in the fuckers arms,that pissed me off.He seemed to have enjoyed it though,if the laughter was any sign.
"You know Luffy,you're actually cuter then either of your brothers, so when you wake back up let's make a deal."That's the last thing I heard before passing out.
