Guest – It's not like k maine kbhi bhi review target complete hone pr chapter nhi diya. Many times I uploaded a chapter on time and sometimes even before the target completion also. Rajat – Hi Sir.

ACP Abhijeet – Welcome back Rajat. (To Team) Senior Inspector Rajat is joining us again. Current case mein engage kro and get back to work.

Rajat – Sir.

Daya – Rajat tum (pointing towards Abhijeet's desk) ye wala desk lelo…(interuppted)

Abhijeet (immidiately) – Nahi!

Team gave him a confusing look but Abhijeet managed to say –

Mera mtlb h ye desk nhi… Tumhare liye naya desk lgwane ke liye kaha h maine… tum vhi desk loge.

Abhijeet gave a quick glance to his own desk and left immidiately. Breaking the silence Freddy said in full confusion -

Abhijeet sir ne apna purana desk use krne se mna kr diya.

Meanwhile 2 peons came with a new desk and arranged it in the bureau hall. Rajat kept the belongings there and was standing with the team quitely when Daya asked –

Kaise ho Rajat?

Rajat – Main theek hun sir.

Pankaj – Sir aap toh shaadi krne wale the na Hyderabad mein… phir aap yahan kaise?

Freddy – Abee Pankaj… tu kya Rajat sir ko wapas bhejna chahta h.

Pankaj (immidiately) – Aree sir maine esa kb kaha?

Everyone smiled except Rajat. Daya noticed it but ignored it for a while. Soon it was lunch time and team went for lunch while Abhijeet went to a meeting. Daya and Rajat came back to bureau earlier then others when Daya asked –

Rajat… baat kya h? Tum jb se aaye ho khush nhi lg rhe.

Rajat (pretending to be normal) – Esa kuch nhi h Sir… Bs kabhi socha nhi tha k Acp sir ke demise ke baad yahan join krunga… unke bina bhut adhura sa lgta h.

Daya – Sbka yhi haal h Rajat… Acp sir ki death ke baad sb lg hi bikhar se gye h.

Rajat (unintentionaly) – Abhijeet sir nhi.

Daya (confused tone) – Kya mtlb?

Rajat (covering with) – Nhi sir… mera mtlb voh Acp bn gye h unpr bhut pressure h na kaam ka.

Daya (suspicious tone) – Rajat… sach btao… kya baat h.

Rajat (still hiding) – Sir esa kuch…(interuppted)

Daya (determined tone) – Rajat… sirf sach.

Rajat looked at him and started narrating him all that happened.

Flashback

Abhijeet and Rajat could be seen sititng at a café in Hyderabad. After having usual chit chat including asking about each other's wellbeing Abhijeet said – Mumbai wapas aajao Rajat.

Rajat (shockingly) – Sir!

Abhijeet – CID Mumbai team mein tumhari zrorat h. Tumhare HQ mein main baat krlunga… uski fikr mt kro.

Rajat – Mujhe bhut khushi h k aap Acp bn gye… aap ye position deserve krte h. Pr Acp Pradyuman sir ki death ke baad main Mumbai nhi aa paunga sir… Main toh shayd wahan kadam bhi nhi rkh paun. Aur mere kuch personal reasons bhi h. Main agle mahine shaadi krne wala hun. Meri girlfriend Hyderabad mein hi h. Uski job mein kuch issues h voh Mumbai transfer nhi le payegi. Main nhi aa paunga sir.

Abhijeet (calm voice) – Yhi izzat h tumhari CID Mumbai aur Acp Sir ke liye k jb tumhari zrorat pde tum peeth dikha kr bhag jao.

Rajat (shockingly) – Sir ye aap kya keh rhe h?

Abhijeet – Theek keh rha hun main… Yhi sikhaya tha Acp sir ne tumhe. Ya fr voh tumhare liye sirf uper udne ka ek zariya the… tum jante ho k CID Mumbai mein already main Acp bn chuka isliye tumhara koi chance nhi h abhi. Isliye tum wahan nhi aana chahte. (sarcastic way) Tumne Acp sir ke under hi training complete ki thi na.

Rajat (with down head) – Sir please aap esa mt kahiye… main unki bhut izzat krta hun. Aap… (choked voice) main… main chlunga Mumbai.

Abhijeet smiled and left from there to Hyderabad HQ. He got Rajat transferred to Mumbai and came back to Mumbai.

Flashback over

Rajat (looking towards Daya) – Aap hi btayiye sir… main kya krta… Main Acp sir ki training pr anch nhi aane dena chahta tha.

Daya (consoling tone) – Fikr mt kro Rajat… sb theek ho jayega.

Little did they know, the other team heard it all including Salunkhe and Tarika.

Purvi (sadly) – kabhi nhi socha tha k Abhijeet sir ke baare mein esa kuch sunne ko milega.

Pankaj – Acp ki kursi ache acho ko badal deti h Purvi.

While Daya himself wasn't aware whether everything will ever be ok or not. The way Abhijeet was behaving was beyond his thinking. He is behaving like nothing happened. In the hospital, he was like the guiltiest person on earth and now it's like nothing matters to him. He didn't share his grief, he emotionally blackmailed Rajat, misbehaved with Salunkhe when he needed to be treated with love and care. He accepted the position and all the perquisities gladly. He was thinking like he is not anymore Abhijeet's best friend. He has lost that position in his buddy's heart. But what was his mistake? Did he do something that offended Abhijeet this much? As far as he remembers, he didn't. Then why Abhijeet distanced himself so much. So many whys but no answer.

Same evening…

Abhijeet came back home switched on dim light of the living area and went to his room. He removed his coat, shoes socks and put all the belongings on their places. He He opened two buttons of his shirt and came back to living area. He entered in the kitchen took out a bottle of juice from refrigerator and pour some juice for himself. He looked at a photo with a garland on it and smiled a little.

Kya soch rhe h aap Sir? Naraaz honge aap toh. Aapke dost se badtamizi jo krke aaya hun. Yaad h maine kaha tha voh (stressing on) BUDHA sirf apni ego pr hi chlta h. han gusse mein kaha tha maine pr baat toh sach hogyi na. Jaise hi maine unhe kayar kaha turant ruk gye. Gussa toh hmesha naak pr hi rehta h. vaise hi meri shakal dekh kr gussa dimaag mein chla jata h aur fr apne gusse se hi faisle lete h. Dekha aapne! Maine unke gusse ko hi use krke unhe rok liya. (With a teasing smile) Ab boliye kuch kehna h aapko.

He sat on the sofa and and drank the juice sip by sip.

Like this two three days went. Team was still in sheer grief due to Acp Pradyuman's death. However, they were working but they were not motivated enough like they used to. They were all upset with Abhijeet too because of his behavior. A case was reported where an undercover officer got murdered and CID team was clueless since 2 days. They were trying to solve the case but couldn't get a single clue. Abhijeet came to bureau in the afternoon in full angry mode. He immidiately came towards Purvi and asked in straight tone –

Purvi phone records ka kya hua? Kuch mila usme se?

Purvi (startled with straight tone) – Sir… phone records toh abhi tkk aaye hi nhi.

Abhijeet (same tone) – Kyu?

Purvi – Mobile company wale keh rhe h k us number ke records milne mein thoda time aur lgega unhe.

Abhijeet (sarcastic way) – Very good… unhone kaha aur tumne kaam chod diya… kyu? Tum chahti nhi ho k case solve ho jaye… right?

Purvi (scared) – Sir main esa kyu…(interuppted)

Abhijeet (angry tone) – Agar esa nhi h toh abhi tkk kaam kyu nhi hua? Dobara phone kro unhe… jldi kaam krwayo… ya fr agr agle murder ka intezaar h tumhe toh baat alag h.

(To Rajat) – Tum us agent ke khabri pr nazar rkh rhe the na kll se… kya hua uska?

Rajat (with down head) – Sir voh hath se nikl gya?

Abhijeet (angry shout) – Kaise? Ese kaise haath se nikl gya. Kya kr rhe the tum?

(To pankaj and Freddy) – Tum dono uske ghar gye the? Saboot mila kuch?

Pankaj – Nhi sir… hme kuch nhi mila.

Abhijeet – Toh bureau kyu aaye ho? Agr saboot dhundhna nhi aata toh ghar baitho jakr.

(To Daya) – Forensic report kya kehti h Daya… konsa zehr se murder hua h.

Daya (serious but low tone) – Dr. Salunkhe ko abhi tkk zehr ka pta nhi chla h Jaise hi pta chlta h voh hme inform krenge.

Abhijeet just faired his hand in his hair in anger and banged his hand on the table and shouted –

Kya ho rha h ye sb han? 2 din hogye h murder hue aur abhi tkk koi suraag hath nhi lga… kyu? Tum sb kaam nhi krna chahte toh apna -2 resignation letter mere table pr rkho aur jao yahan se. Yhi training mili h na sbko Acp sir se, mujhse, Daya se. Acp sir nhi rhe toh koi kaam nhi krega kya? (team gave him an unbelievable look) Unhone tum logon ko hath pakad ke isliye chlna nhi sikhaya tha k hath chute aur tum log gir pdo. Tum logon ko gir kr uthna sikhaya tha. Aur Rajat tum… Hyderabad mein bhi itni laparwahi se kaam krte the tum? Freddy chehra dekho apna… Ye CID bureau h koi shok sabha nhi jahan baith kr sb log aansu bhate firo. Ek baat smjh lo sb log… 24 ghante h tum sb ke paas. Mujhe is case mein breakthrough chahiye vrna tum sbka resignation letter.

Saying so Abhijeet stormed in his cabin. Freddy spoke with determination –

Chliye sir… hme apni naukri bchane ke 24 ghante mile h… bhut kaam pda h.

Daya (in mind) – Ye tum theek nhi kr rhe ho Abhijeet.

He moved from there to work on the case. Abhijeet too came out after an hour and started working with the team on the case. He was discussing his aspects on the case sometimes sitting on the table of his old desk, sometimes writing something on the white board, giving new orders, disussing plans with Daya and Rajat and exactly in 20 hours they got their major breakthrough and the case was solved. Everyone sighed in relief but didn't say a word in front of Abhijeet like earlier they used to discuss every case after closing it. They didn't even made an eye contact with him. Even Daya made a case report and showed it to Abhijeet saying –

Case file ready h Abhijeet… tum check krlo.

Abhijeet was about to grab the file when DCP Chitrole showed up with a tease in his voice – ABHIJEET.

Everyone looked up and he continued – Rajat… tum ek senior inspector ho na… tum bhi ACP Abhijeet ko ABHIJEET keh kr hi bulate hoge… Daya ki tareh.

Team gave a disgusting look to him while Abhijeet stayed silent which bothered more than anything to team.

Daya (corrected himself) – Case file ready h Abhijeet Sir. Aap dekh lijiye.

Abhijeet – Hmm. (To DCP) – aapko kuch kaam tha Sir.

DCP – Han… main dekhne aaya tha k yahan kaam hota bhi h ya nhi. Dikhayo case file… case solve kr liya na tum logon ne.

Abhijeet showed him the file and both went inside the cabin. They discussed something there and DCP left. It was late evening so Abhijeet ordered everyone to leave and the day ended.
