* Time note the story takes place where the second season left off and it is now February 2005. Tru and Jensen have been dating since December. Also, Tru has told Jensen about how she relives days, because the dead people ask her to help them. In addition she tells him that he got shoot and dying. Then someone asks for help that day which cause the day to start over. So she could save the person that asks for help and his life. Jensen was fine with what Tru told him. Also, the two of them are living together. In addition this fan fiction has been post on Buffy board as Faith Rose.
Chapter one: Achy and feverish
Davis walks through the double doors leading into the Autopsy room at the morgue. He sees that only one body has come in during the night. He sees that Tru has already went through the personal items and logged them in. In addition Tru has taken notes on how the body looks, so all that left is for him to do the autopsy. Davis walks into the break room and sees Tru sleeping on the couch. He walks over to the coffee table and then set the coffee that he brought in for him and Tru onto the coffee table. Then Davis gently shakes Tru on the shoulder. Tru open her eyes and she looks at her supervise. Then Tru sits up on the couch, as Davis pick up one of the coffee cup. Then Davis hands Tru the coffee he brought for her. Tru takes the coffee cup from Davis and then she takes a sip of the coffee. Tru leans up against the back of the couch and then closes her eyes again.
"Is everything all right Tru, because you normally do not fall asleep on the break room couch?"
"Everything is fine. I am just tired and achy is all. However, it is nothing some sleep will not fix."
"Then you should go home and get some sleep."
"I cannot go home I have an anatomy 162 lab this morning and the professor is testing the group on how well we can work together. Also, the professor is testing the group on how well we know all the part of the body."
"Ok, but after the lab, I want you to go home and get some sleep because you are looking flush."
"I am planing on going home, when my group finishing the lab."
Tru stands up from the couch and then walks over to the desk. She opens her backpack and takes a gray long sleeve shirt out of the backpack. She puts the shirt on and then closes the backpack. Tru grabs her backpack off the desk and then walks out of the break room and through the Autopsy room. A short time later Tru walks out of the Autopsy room and into the hallway. Tru slowly walks over to the elevator and when she reaches the elevator she pushes the button. She reliving when the elevator door open right away and she walks right into the elevator. She pushes the button for the main floor and then leans against the left side wall of the elevator. When the door of the elevator opens Tru walks out of the elevator and then she walks out to Jensen's car. When Tru opens the passengers' door of the car Jensen, he looks at his girlfriend and notice that she looks wear out. Tru gets into Jensen's car and she throws her book bag onto the backseat.
"Your sister Meredith's return your car this morning."
" Good since you have to work tonight and you have to be at work before me."
"Maybe you should take tonight off and get some rest."
"I wish that I could but it is Wednesday and that the must popular night for people asks for my help."
"I forget, at lest take my car and go home after the lab."
"How will you get to work?"
"Avery is working today and she can give me a ride."
"Ok."
Jensen puts the car into drive and then he hard toward the campus. On the ride to the campus Tru closes her eyes and she falls to sleep. A few minutes later Jensen has parked his car in the university parking lot and he has turned off the car. He looks over at Tru and sees she is asleep. Jensen leans over and shakes Tru left shoulder. Tru opens her eyes and sees that they are at the university. She starts to talk as rubbing her eyes.
"I will meet you in the lab room. I need to use the bathroom.
"Do you want me to take your backpack to class?"
"Yes."
The two of them get out of the car and close the front doors of the car. Jensen open the back door on the driver side and grab his and Tru backpacks. A short time later, Tru and Jensen walk into science building together. Once inside the science building of the university campus Jensen and Tru part ways, Jensen watch Tru for a few moment and he is a little worry about her. Then he walks to the lab room and simultaneously Tru's walk to the ladies' restroom.
A few moments later, Tru walks into the restroom and she walks over to the sinks. She stops in front of the center sink and mirror. She sees that she does look flush, so she turns the water on and splashes some cool water on her face. After splashing the water on her face, she dries it off with a paper towel. She throws out the paper towel and then walks out of the restroom. Tru then walks to the lab room, wishes she was at home and sleeping. When Tru walks into the lab Jensen, Avery and Tyler look at her and then down at the body they will be working on. Also, Avery starts to talk.
"Tru's meet Mrs. Kaylee Time's"
"Our assignment is that the four of us have to give her an autopsy and find her cause of death!"
"That is great Tyler"
"We should get to work."
"(Tru, Tyler and Avery)Yes we should."
Tyler, Avery and Jensen walk over to the body and get to work right away. However, Tru walks over to one of the desk and take off her long sleeve shirt that she put on before leave work. Then Tru set the long sleeve shirt on the desk. Then walks over to the lab table and joins Jensen, Avery and Tyler. Jensen walks up next to his girlfriend and then he pulls out a stool. He pushes the stool up behind Tru and then he kisses Tru's forehead. After he kisses her forehead, Tru takes a seat on the stool and then picks up a scalpel. She starts to cut open Kaylee Time's chest.
"Thanks Jensen."
" Your welcome and your forehead felt warm to my lips, I think you are running a fever!"
"I do feel feverish and ache!"
"It sounds like you are sick Tru!"
"I never get sick Tyler!"
"You have been push yourself really hard. So maybe you are getting sick and it is your body way of saying slow down Tru Davies!"
"Avery I am not getting sick."
"Less talking about all of your personal lives and more talk about the reason way your person dead!"
"Professors' can Tru be excuse from today class because she is not feeling good?"
No Mr. Ritchie, now get back to work."
Jensen looks at Tru for a few seconds and she looks at him. Also, at the same time Tru clears her throat several time. The two of them stop looking at each other. Then Tru and Jensen go back to working on the body that the group is working on. Every few minutes' Jensen takes a quick look at Tru.
Thirty minutes into class Tru starts to shiver, so Jensen goes and get her grey long sleeve shirt off the desk. Then he brings the long sleeve shirt over to Tru. Tru takes the shirt from him and she puts the shirt on. Then the two of them go back to work. Twenty minutes later the professor walks over to Tru group and take the group forum from Tyler and looks it over.
"You have the right cause of death. She did dead form lung cancer and yes she was four weeks pregnant at the time of her death. The four of you are a great team and work great together. In addition I am give the group extra points for Tru pushes herself through class and continue to help the group even through she is feeling unwell."
"Professors' is it all-right If I take off a few minutes early since the lab done?"
"Yes you can leave."
"Thanks."
Jensen hands Tru his car keys and then she stands up from the stool. She then walks over to the desk that her backpack is setting on and grabs her backpack off the desk. Tru slowly walks to the door of the lab and then she walks out of the lab room. She walks outside and to the parking lot and to where Jensen's parked his car. Once at the car she unlocks the door. Tru opens the driver door and tosses her backpack on the passenger seat, then she gets into the car. Once in the car she starts the car and she is yawning. Tru takes the car out of park and then puts the car into reverse. She looks both ways and then backs out of the parking space. A short time later Tru is pulling out of the parking lot and onto the street.
Ten minutes later Tru is pulling Jensen's car into the driveway of they house. Also, she sees Harrison's car and the car is park on the side of the road. She puts the car into the park position and then she turns the car off. Tru grabs her backpack off the passenger seat and then opens the driver door of the car. She gets out of the car and closes the car door. She locks the car and then slower walks up to the front porch. Tru walks up the steps of the porch. Then she walks up to the front door of the house. Tru unlocks the front door and then heads insides the house. She looks to the right and into the living room. Tru sees her brother set on the couch. Harrison stands up from the couch and walks over to Tru, as she walks toward the staircase. The staircase is on the wall across from you when you walk into the living room. Harrison takes his sister backpack from her and then gives Tru a hug.
" Were you even going to say hi to me before you head upstairs Tru?"
"I will talk to you in a few minutes. I really need to use the bathroom."
"That is fine, sis. I will go into the kitchen and I will make the two of us apple cinnamon tea."
" That sounds great."
Tru walks upstairs and then she walks into the first door that is on the left-hand side of the hallway. The door belongs to Jensen and her bedroom. She sets Jensen's car keys on the night stand and then walks to the end of the bed. She walks past the window and then walks through the door leading into the connected bathroom. Tru walks over to the sink that is across from the door and then she opens the medicine cabinet. She grabs the ear thermometer off the top shelf and then puts the ear thermometer into her right ear. She waits for the thermometer to beep. Thirty seconds later the thermometer start beeping, she takes the ear thermometer out of her ear and looks at the display of the thermometer. She sees that she has a fever of 101.9 degrees Fahrenheit. She put the thermometer away and then walks into the bedroom. She slowly walks through her bedroom and to the door of the bedroom, as yawning into her left hand. Tru reaches the bedroom door and then walks into the hallway. She walks downstairs and is clearing her throat.
A short time later, Tru walks into the living room and walks over to the couch. Tru takes a seat on the couch, as Harrison walks into the living room. In addition he has two mugs of two teas in his hands. Harrison's walk over to his sister and he hand her a mug of tea. Tru takes the hot tea from him and holds the mug in her hands. Harrison takes a seat on the coffee table and looks at his sister. He notices that she looks flush, as Tru set the mug down on the coffee table next to her brother.
"Sis' you are not looking so hot, are you feeling all right?"
"I am feeling ache all over and I have a fever of 101.9 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, my stomach is a little upset and I keep clearing my throat because of a tickle in my throat."
"Do you also have a headache, because you keep rubbing your forehead?"
"Yes I have a headache. Can you take off, because I am going to go lay down?"
"Sure I will leave and I hope you feel better soon."
"Me too."
Harrison stands up from the coffee table and Tru stands up from the couch. Tru walks over to the staircase and Harrison walks over to the front door. Harrison sees himself out and simultaneously Tru walks upstairs to her and Jensen bedroom. Once in the bedroom Tru walks over to the bed and then she pulls the red bedspread down. She lies down on the bed and pulls the cover up. She falls to sleep right away.
