Emotional Battles on the Tenth Floor
"Go down to the 10th Floor?!" Bell and Leina gasped when heard Lili's suggestion of today's adventure in the Dungeon.
"Yeah, I think you're good enough to get through there, especially with how well you two always fight together and even separate a little." Lili stated.
"She's right, you know. You two have already shown how much strength you've grown, and I think the Tenth Floor is the perfect place to see the results." Risty smirked.
"Well, it's true that we have grown a little stronger, but I'm not sure if we should go down that low since we just started the eighth floor yesterday." Leina concerned.
"Yeah, and once you go that far down, you'll run into the bigger monsters." Bell added, remembering how he was almost killed by the Minotaur before he met Leina.
"Don't worry, I know Master Bell will look after us now that he got fire magic." Lili believed.
"I still can't believe you got the skill from a book, though personally I would have sold to make a lot of money." Risty stated her own opinion.
"Yeah, no need to tell us that." Leina exclaimed and look at Bell who chuckles nervously.
"I also been to Floor 11 myself, so I know at least a good safer route to get through." Lili mentioned.
"Wow, Floor 11 already, you must be the bravest girl I have ever met." Leina amazed making Lili blush a little.
"It… It's nothing to praise about, I just be more careful than others." Lili chuckled.
"Are you going to bring that magic knife you used the other day?" Leina asked.
"She doesn't like to use those kinds of tools; she prefers using them as a last result." Risty explained.
"I see, then I hope we can get through this together." Bell smiled.
The group enters the tower going down for the tenth floor, unknown to some that danger is drawing ever so closer, then moments later Eina is by the elevator of Babel heading to the upper floors.
"I was planning on talking to Goddess Hestia anyway, but I had no idea I would be doing my inspection duty on Babel." Eina surprised that she would be doing her work while going to meet with Goddess Hestia.
"I guess I need to do it, mix business and pleasure, but I absolutely must warn her about Bell and Leina's supporter." Eina determined to get her warning be heard.
While waiting for the Elevator, Eina spotted Ais walking by heading into the Dungeon as well which the Sword Princess also notice the woman staring at her.
(With Bell's Group)
"I wanted to thank you for taking my suggestion, Master Bell, Lady Leina. Becoming your Supporter has really made my luck better." Lili thanked.
"Yeah, we had a hard time making some big money before we met you kids and now racking in the cash." Risty grinned.
"Glad you feel that way." Leina rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, well, I had to come down here at some point." Bell said, looking serious as he must try to face his fear.
"Oh yeah, I remember you mentioning about being close to death when you ran into a Minotaur." Leina recalled.
"Every warrior has to face a trial of their own in order to move on." Risty stated.
"Well then, may I offer another suggestion to you, Master Bell?" Lili asked and handed him a longer dagger.
"I should try fighting with this once as get to the tenth floor?" Bell asked.
"Yeah, the weapon you're using is gonna be a little too short for big monsters. So, this baselard should work better for you." Lili pointed out.
"That does sound fitting, but what about if Bell fights in a dual style?" Leina asked confusing Bell.
"She means using both knives at the same time when up against the monsters." Risty explained a little to him.
"Oh, let me see for myself." Bell pulled out his Hestia Knife while holding the baselard in the other, he starts swinging them around like he's fighting a monster right now.
"Huh, I think I can do with this style." Bell said getting the hang of it.
"Your movements and footwork could use some work, but you definitely got the gist of it." Risty commented as Bell smiles.
(With Eina and Ais)
"You're telling me I saved one of your adventurers?" Ais surprised.
"Yes, I'm so glad I got a chance to thank you. You see, he was about to be killed by a Minotaur on the fifth floor but then suddenly you came in to his rescue." Eina explained smiling.
"A Minotaur?" Ais confused.
"That's right, his name is Bell Cranel." Eina revealed the name, and this causes Ais to quietly gasp weirding Eina out a little.
"I, huh, I hope I didn't scare him, did I?" Ais worried.
"Oh no, no, he's fine! Actually, Mister Cranel has been very grateful for everything that you have done for him." Eina reassured to Ais.
"Is that true?" Ais asked smiling.
"Positively!" Eina answered with a confident smile.
"Oh, well, thank goodness." Ais said feeling relief to hear that.
"So, we're going after a little Adventurer, the kid with the white hair, right?" Canoe asked Ged as they walk to the Dungeon with the other two.
This got Ais and Eina's attention as they listen in to the men.
"Yeah, I can already see how this is gonna go down, so I'm counting on you guys not to screw this up." Ged smirked evilly.
"Yeah, yeah, we got it." Canoe laughed with his two men.
"And let's not forget to kill those two bitches too, that little girl isn't worth keeping around anymore because of the mercery woman." Canoe mentioned.
"Yeah, it's about time she gets taken down for good." Ged nodded.
"Oh my, does that mean they're going to kill that little supporter too?" Eina worried.
"Is there something wrong?" Ais asked as she can tell that Eina knows something that is going on right now.
Eina worries for Bell and Leina grew more as she heard those men probably talking about them as they also planned on offing their own fellow member, she turns to Ais for the only thing she could do right now.
"Okay your Ladyship, please for forgive me but I'm afraid I need to ask you for a very important favor." Eina said as Ais tilt her head curious.
Well, it looks like things are going to get more interesting from here. Don't you think so, Keltan?" The woman asked her pet snake as she has been listening to the conversation the entire time.
(Dungeon, Tenth Floor)
Bell, Leina, Lili, and Risty are now standing in what appears to be a dead forest filled with white trees and grass everywhere they look as if everything is just black and white with a little gray in the mix.
"Is this really the tenth floor?" Bell asked surprise of the place.
"Yes, this is where our mission begins." Lili answered.
"It's like everything here is dead and all the colors that should be here have vanished from the face of the world." Leina commented as she kneels down feeling the white grass.
"Yeah, some of the floors below will look something like this or much worse the deeper you go, but there are also floors that look a whole lot better than this." Risty mentioned.
"Come on, we all have to stay close together." Bell said as he and the girls move forward together.
As they walk, the chilling feeling comes through them like something dangerous is about to happen and the fighters have their weapons ready out in case they encounter any monsters on this floor which is a high possibility.
"I wonder which God decided to make this floor so lifeless?" Leina asked.
"Doesn't matter because we're about to have company." Risty glanced in one direction upon hearing some heavy footsteps.
Everyone turn to where Risty is looking at to as a big green orc stomping his way to them and grabbing a dead white tree.
"That's sure is a big one." Bell gulped.
"It's too late to turn back now, Master Bell." Lili said.
"She's right, if we can't beat some orcs then we won't be able to handle the other monsters ahead." Leina unsheathed her sword ready for battle.
"(Yeah, especially when I'll go against a Minotaur again.)" Bell thought determined as he brings out the two blades.
Leina and Bell became shocked when they see the orc pulls out the tree from the ground and held it like a battering club.
"He's using that landform as a weapon." Bell alerted.
"You can expect more of those orcs doing the same." Risty warned.
"Get ready!" Lili said.
The orc charges at the four swinging the club-made tree as they quickly dodge the strike and Bell charges at the monster doubling slashing with his dual blades then slicing the neck killing his first orc on Floor 10, then he looks up seeing another orc coming at him and Leina jumps in to attack.
(Hephaestus Shop)
Hestia is preforming her duty at the Goddess Blacksmith shop checking some certain items while talking with Eina as she does the inspection.
"What do you want, Miss Advisor? Are you here in Guild business or are you just talking to me because you're bored?" Hestia asked.
"This is very important, it's about your children's supporter." Eina mentioned.
"At first, I thought she was dangerous, but after what I learned today, I fear that girl maybe the one in danger." Eina informed.
"Let me guess, her Familia want get rid of that little girl." Hestia said.
"How'd you know?" Eina asked shock.
"Me, Bell, and Leina had this talk along with Melpha about Lili and Risty, and Bell has already made up his mind about wanting to save her. He even said that he wanted to also help Risty live a better life than being a mercery." Hestia explained smiling while checking a silver armor.
"Somehow, I am not surprised about that." Eina sighed smiling too.
"Don't worry, I have a strong feeling those two will be okay and I also have a strong feeling that my little Familia may strong a bit bigger soon." Hestia giggled.
(Back on Floor 10)
"TAKE THIS!" Leina slashed strong on the left side of the orc, cutting halfway through the body then she jumps impaling her sword through the chest killing it.
"Okay, I got one." Leina said, feeling proud of herself.
"Don't celebrate just yet." Risty jumped above the club attack and slammed her mace right on the head of the orc making it fall over.
Risty kept on smashing her mace on the orc's head three more times until it died, and Bell spotted another one coming shooting only two Fire Bolts to destroy it.
"Doesn't it feel strange? These orcs are coming at us like they know where to find us." Leina pointed out.
"Yeah, you maybe right." Bell noticed that too and stumble upon a strange looking object, and more around them.
"Are these… Monster Lures?" Bell feared.
"Yeah, and they didn't come out of nowhere." Risty threw a small dagger at the direction where she saw the Monster Lures were thrown and nearly hit a familiar man on the stairs.
"Who is that?" Leina asked.
"He's from my Familia!" Lili shocked.
"Okay Lili, I'm gonna be going away for a while, so make sure you take good care of yourself." Risty said confusing Lili worry.
"In case I don't come back, at least you'll have Bell and Leina for that good life." Risty grabbed Lili by the backpack lifting her up.
"W-Wait, what are you doing?" Lili asked.
"You two, catch!" Risty threw Lili towards Bell and Leina then she ran right for the stairs chasing after the guy who threw the Monster Lures.
"Risty, come back! Risty!" Lili begged reaching to the woman, but Risty just kept running without looking back.
"What is she doing?" Bell asked before dodging an attack from an orc.
(With Risty)
Risty ran up as fast as she could up the stairs until she caught up with the guy who ran into the others and Ged.
"Oh motherfucker, not this bitch again." Ged angered.
"I was hoping to get the little brat here." Canoe glared at Risty.
"Sorry to disappoint you lots, but today is the day that I'm going to serve all ties of the Soma Familia from Lili so she can finally be free." Risty declared pointing her mace at them.
"Is that right? You must be stupider than you look because that girl is going to die right after we deal with you." Ged smirked as he reaches for his sword.
"Over my dead body!" Risty growled.
"Let see how you'll deal with four against one!" Ged looked at Canoe.
"Actually, it'll just be… me." Canoe said, and his voice changed into a female one.
This left confusing faces with Ged and the other two men of what is up with his voice then suddenly they are slashed dead by Canoe.
"What the fuck?" Risty confused.
"Canoe… why?" Ged asked before died.
"Sorry, but Canoe is already dead, and I decided to take his place for fun." "Canoe" explained smirking.
"Who or what the fuck are you?" Risty demanded.
"Canoe" smirks at Risty before his whole body turns pink and twisting around morphing like a weird monster slime or whatever, then a few seconds later the appearance changed into a whole new person.
"Yup, my name is Melona the Protean Trickster, pleasure to kill you." Melona greeted.
The woman now named Melona has long pink hair that reaches past her shoulders, featuring a pair of bunny ears. She is scantily clad, wearing only a very small pink transparent jacket that only covers her shoulders featuring eye-like pauldrons and a collar bound by a heart-shaped emblem with wings and a pink dress. She wears an equally revealing blouse of the same color and density and wears a pair of pink shoes with a pair of eyes. The bangs of her hair that frame her face form into a pair of hands that cover her otherwise fully exposed chest. Breasts sizes: H-cup.
"Okay, I'm getting the feeling what you just did isn't exactly a skill." Risty aimed her mace at Melona.
"Shapeshifting is an easy skill to a powerful slime such as myself." Melona giggled.
"Slime?" Risty shocked.
"That's right, bet you never expected to run into a monster that can talk and think the same as any human beings can. Let only kill like one." Melona formed a pink sharp sword in her hand.
Melona charges at Risty clashing her pink sword against the mace and pushes her back a few feet as she runs at the red hair woman swinging at slice her up, but Risty blocks them with her shield though she keeps getting push back. Risty never thought about fighting against a slime like this and never thought this slime would be the one to take down these asses before her, but now she got to do all she can to survive from this monster attack. Then she saw an opening from within Melona's attack and ram her shield to make her stumble back and swing her mace to knock the sword out of the slime woman's hand.
"You're mine!" Risty yelled as she swings her mace to the head.
"Are you sure?" Melona smirked.
Before Risty knew it, she suddenly got squirted on by something that came out of Melona's breasts squeezed by the hand-bangs causing the red hair warrior woman to jump back then she sees some parts of her clothes dissolved exposing her right breast and the upper corner of her shield.
"Acid breastmilk, not a very good drink to have in the morning, but very handy when it comes to making your enemies helpless." Melona bragged.
"Good thing I only go for the ones from the farm." Risty swinged her mace fast to Melona who blocks it with her newly formed pink sword.
"Didn't think you had me disarmed, did you?" Melona asked sarcastically and knee kicked Risty in the stomach. Then she slashes at the left side leaving a nasty cut before delivering a kick that sent her flying.
"I hope you said your goodbyes to those friends of yours." Melona smirked walking to Risty.
"(Lili, no matter what, you have to live.)" Risty thought.
Melona raises her pink sword and swings it down to cut her down, only to be stopped by Leina's sword.
"What the…?" Melona shocked.
"Leina!" Risty surprised.
"Get away from my friend." Leina glared.

Bell's group have made their way to the tenth floor finding themselves dealing with orcs and some men from the Soma Familia, but unexpected new warrior has appeared in the form of a sexy pink slime woman. Risty was almost going to be killed by Melona until Leina came in saving her life and will battle the pink slime woman, things are going to be intense.
