"Hmm, the child of hope has peculiar powers. Wonder if he is the one" the digimon known as Daemon asked. He was one of the seven figures sitting around the table. Talking about the encounter they had earlier in that day. "Well, it seems all of the digidestined have special abilities, however I don't think we should rule it out"a seemingly old digimon with a demonic face said.
"Well he sure caught my eye, his hair and face are quite the handsome combo"a snarky digimon said. This digimon has tons of makeup on and seemed to try to look very pretty. "Though I still honestly think the child of light has a better chance of being the child we need" the same digimon replied.
"So what should our plan be to capture the children"A digimon with guns and a motorcycle asked. He seemed to be quite bored, but had a certain glint in his eye that told you that he could kill your in a flash. "Honestly, why don't I just go and capture them, none of their pathetic digimon could match me. Hell, even the Royal knights had to send 2 of their kind to seal me and even that almost failed ".
"Don't be foolish, rushing and trying to capture the digidestined will alert the Royal knights of our unsealing" The old digimon said with a scoff. "Call me foolish again old man, and I'll rip you into data, we all know I can" the digimon with guns said with a growl. "Fighting won't help anything you two, call down" Daemon said with a sigh.
"Ahaha, Daemon you have the biggest anger issues out of all of us don't tell us what to do" The digimon with makeup said with giggling. "Why you..."Daemon was about to leap at the digimon with makeup before he was interrupted. "All of you stop fighting, this isn't helping out plan at all"a deep booming voice shouted at them. Immediately they all shut up as a crocodile like digimon came out of the shadows.
The other digimon grumbled about the crocodile digimon scolding them, but wisely shut up not wanting an all out war. They all kept quiet nobody talking not knowing what to say. "So then we haven't discussed what our plan is" The old digimon grumbled still annoyed.
"Now how about we keep creating the plan" The crocodile digimon asked. They all nodded as an awkward silence was one again cast on the group. "How about we just capture all the digidestined and experiment to see which is the one we need" the digimon with guns asked again. "Or, we could lure them one by one here to test"Daemon said. "I say we go with my idea" The digimon with guns said. "No, my idea" Daemon said raising his voice. As the bickering escalated their voices continually got louder and louder.
Until a loud and booming growl was heard around the room. Everyone turned their heads to see a goat like digimon with their eyes closed laying there. It seemed to be a sleep and a bit cute. "See you guys are going to want up that.. monster" the old digimon said with a slightly scared tone. They all backed up, but they heard quiet snores coming from the digimon. They all let out a slight sigh of relief.
"Luckily we avoided the catastrophe" The Digimon with makeup said with a sigh. "Well it weren't for those two bozos we wouldn't have had to deal with it in the first place" The old digimon said annoyed. It seemed both Digimon were about to pummel the digimon, but they were interrupted by the giant crocodile. "All of you be quiet, your bickering isn't bringing our plan any closer to fruition".
"Well, what is our plan because from what I have observed throughout this conversation there isn't one" the digimon with makeup said. "Yes, so we must start creating one instead of arguing like all of you have been doing". The conversation continued as all 5 figures (or six of you count the sleeping goat) continued their conversation and brainstorming.
"Look's like all 6 of you have been useless in creating a plan". All 6 figures even the goat turned towards the voice, seeing a silhouette. Though it seems that they recognized who it was by the slight fear in their eyes. "Well here is the plan, we will each go to the human world and pick off the digidestined one by one. Since Daemon already has a weak clone their he will be first. After the seal weakens the rest of us can start venturing their" the figure said with a tone of finality.
"OW, Daisuke get off me"Taichi screamed at Daisuke as we all recovered from our travel through the computer. They all stood up dusting dirt off their clothes. "So guys where are we going"Ken asked before being interrupted by a loud beep on each of their digivices. The devices had 7 locations on them. Though the locations seemed to be spread out throughout the digital world. Though only three spots on the map seemed to be slightly near them. "Ok, guys should we split up to go to the three locations near us" Takeru asked incoming closer to Kari. "Ya sure let's split into groups. However before that let's go to to the toy village to get out digimon.
"Ok, umm where is the toy village from here"Daisuke said. Everyone looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders. "So how are we gonna get there"Daisuke said looking incredulously at them. "Umm, I don't know" Yamato said with a shrug. "Yamato, at least think of a plan"Sora said with a face fault. "Ok, everyone calm down this isn't getting us anywhere"Kari said annoyed.
No one noticed through the chaos TK's eyes glowing green for a second. Takeru felt a sudden surge of information for through him now knowing the exact location of toy village. "Ummm, guys I know where we have to go"TK spoke up through the commotion. "Really"Tai asked. "Ya, you think I'd remember one of my first adventures in the digital world". "Well show the way"Ken said as I went on the path leading to the right.
At Toy Village...
The gang walked into a village filled with baby digimon bouncing around and the buildings looked like dreams. For the older digidestined it brought back vivid memories of the good times when they were stuck in the digital world together. They continued walking through seeing Poyomon around every corner. "Wow, these little guys are everywhere"Daisuke said poking one in the cheek. They like digimon's reactions were adorable as they bounced around looking happy. Takeru had a wave of nostalgia hit him as he took in the familiar and new pieces of the toy village. It all felt like a dream coming back here, I mean in reality he hasn't been to the digital world in a year or two. He was so excited to get to see Patamon and the rest of the digimon here. He was cut out of his missing by a blue blur running past them.
"Hey, Agumon don't poke the Poyomon with your claws out hurts them"Veemon said. "Heyyyy Veeemon"Daisuke said running after him, Taichi quickly followed to see Agumon. Eventually we all caught up with them. "Daisuke"Veemon said while jumping into his arms. "Hey, Veemon where are the rest of the digimon"Sora asked. "Oh,umm they are somewhere in the village, but I don't have a clue". The rest of the digidestined other than Daisuke and Taichi left to look around the village.
Takeru had been wandering around for what felt like hours, though in reality it has been a few minutes. He didn't remember the village being this big, it was just the same landscape over and over. He was cut out of his thought by a Poyomon bouncing on his head. He took a deep breath trying to calm himself down, though his eyes was twitching violently. TK had never been particularly patient though unlike Daisuke or Taichi he wasn't particularly reckless. He loved Poyomon, but he needed them to stop bouncing on his head.
He didn't realize he was heading into a walk before his head clashed against a large tower made of toys. "OH, COME ON PATAMON WHERE ARE YOU" he screamed. He didn't realize how loud he screamed before he realized all the baby digimon near him fled. He quickly got up, walking towards a first needing a break from the landscape of the toy village.
TK walked through the forest next to the village wondering if he should return to the others. Though no one has texted him through his digivice so he didn't think everyone had found their digimon. The forest was quite a contrast to the village neighboring it. It was quite mysterious and swampy. It kind of looked like the forest that they met Puppetmon in. Thinking of that memory made him shudder, other then the battles against Piedmon, Devimon,Apoclymon, and Myotismon it was definitely his most scary experience in the digital world. I mean making top 5 means it was a quite the trauma-inducing experience. Well come to think about it that encounter in the dark ocean would easily be number 1, but he still didn't know whether that was reality.
He saw a shimmering light up ahead similar to water. Heading towards it he heard someone familiar talking to himself. He entered the clearing to see a orange hamster with wings sitting on a stone. "Patamon"TK asked with happiness lacking his voice. Patamon turned towards the voice, seeing his partner. "TK" He said with tears gathering in his eyes flying towards his partner. The embrace they shared was quite long. After a few minutes they broke their hug apart. "TK, I missed you so much. Do you know how lonely I was"Patamon said tears running down its face. "I'm so sorry Patamon, I'm sorry I couldn't visit you"TK said with tears forming in his eyes. Both partners cried, as they relished each others companies.
As the tearful reunion came to a close, TK got up waiting for Patamon to get ready to go back to the village. He felt really bad for not visiting Patamon, he knew that was the reason Patamon was sitting alone in the forest. He remembered his nightmare or adventure and decided against telling Patamon about it. Feeling Patamon climb onto his hat he set off back towards the village.
The journey back was fairly quiet with slight conversation here and there. TK was thinking about his encounter with the seven figures and how Daemon was back. Though remembering it now, Daemon felt different. First of all 100x more powerful, but also gave off a completely different vibe than how he was when they first met him. Why was he in the dark ocean in the first place. Thinking back to the ocean also brought back the memory of that power. What was out, he didn't know he had a power other than being a digidestined. That however just made it seem like a dream. Was it just some crazy hallucination his depressed mind came up with. Honestly, he wasn't mind it being one.
"TK, why did you come to the digital world anyway". "Well as it turns out many dark signatures were found by Izzy". "Oh, do you know what they are". Even though TK has a hunch maybe it was the 7 figures in the dark ocean he replied no. TK wanted to tell his best friend the truth, but didn't want to worry anyone. I mean he was happy for once in quite a few weeks so he wanted to relish this moment. He wondered if Patamon had some kind of power similar to the one he found himself using in the dark ocean.
Entering the village Takeru and Patamon walked towards the center of the village. Checking his digivice, he saw many messages asking his location. Cursing under his breath, he sprinted towards the center of the village he saw many figures talking. Walking into the clearing he called out towards the figures. "TK we were so worried, don't do that again. Respond next time on your digivice"Kari said with a huff. "Sorry, me and Patamon were catching up". "Well you could have done that here" was Daisuke's exasperated reply. He sheepishly walked forward sitting down on a bench. "So what's the plan" he asked. "Well of you had come earlier I wouldn't have to repeat it, but the plan is too split up into groups of 2-3 and check around the three points on our digivice that Izzy labeled. Quickly getting into groups the groups were Ken and Daisuke, Tai and Sora and Matt, and him and Kari.
Looking on his digivice he saw a red dot near where he found Patamon. "Tai, me and Kari will take this one" he said pointing to it. Tai nodded affirmative, and I motioned Kari to follow him. "Gatomon"Patamon said launching himself into Gatomon's tail. "Ow, Patamon get off"Garamond said annoyed while trying to get Patamon off her tail. Me and Kari burst into laughter seeing the exchange. "Hey, what's so funny"Gatomon said pouting. That just made us start another bout of laughter. "You guys have the funniest interactions"Kari said with a giggle.
"So TK how has being back into the digital world been". "It's been pretty nice, taking my mind off the real world. You know I'm transferring to your school next year right"I said with a smirk. "Ooh, just to see me perhaps" she said with a sly grin. That made me blush a little, pushing it down he shook his head. "Are you sure you not a little too excited, maybe a little crush on me predators. I mean I'm kind, strong, and handsome so it would make sense". "Your way to overconfident in yourself" she said with a shake off the head.
"Ok, lovebirds let's get back to business instead of flirting"Gatomon said sighing. Both TK and Kari blushed from those words and looked away. Regaining his composure TK observed that they were almost at the forest. "Ok, guys we're almost at the forest the location is at"TK said trying to stop the awkwardness.
As they entered the woods, TK noticed some ruins that he didn't observe last time. It didn't seem to be where they were supposed to go. However maybe he just didn't observe it last time? He honestly didn't know.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eyes he saw Kari fall onto the ground screaming. "Kari" he screamed worried. Suddenly she went silent as her body seemed to glow. She suddenly stood up her eyes completely white. TK was confused and insanely worried about what was happening to Kari. "Hello, child of hope" The person possessing Kari said. "Homeostasis ". "Well child of hope, you remember me". "How could I forget, I mean we wouldn't have beat Apoclymon without you. However why are you here". "Well, as it turns out dark forces have started their path to destroy the digital world". "Who are they". "I cannot tell you without the other digidestined, however I sense a force coming from those ruins over there so please lead the way".
TK was shocked about all the revelations, but motioned for the rest of the group to follow. TK again was shocked due to his sense of direction. He seemed again to know exactly the direction he should be going. I mean they already had the temple in its sight. "I haven't seen them for a while"Homeostasis said while pointing to a digimon.
Mimi,Joe,Izzy,Yolei, and Cody were bored. I mean they knew that there wasn't going to be too much going on, but it was dead silent. "So Izzy I never knew your room was so pink". Izzy has recently developed a bit of a crush on the girl. His bedroom has slowly become pinker after it became his favorite color due to her. "Remember you decided to remodel my room" he said meekly. "You kept it that way cause you love our don't you. I know my taste is amazing". Izzy felt a blush creep onto his face at her coming closer to him. "Ooh your blushing Izzy, you sure you don't have a crush" Yolei said smirking.
"S-Shut up". No one noticed Mimi had a slight blush on her face as she observed Izzy. "Well you wanna go on a date Izzy". Izzy's eyes widened as an atomic blush hit his face. "S-Sure" he said looking down.
Suddenly 4 beeps sounded on the computer. Izzy quickly looked his computer, but gasped. How were there only 3 people on the radar. Where were TK, Kari, Daisuke, and Ken and how are they not on the Radar. "Guys they are not on the radar". "Are there any no signal areas in the digital world"Miyako asked concerned. "Not that I know of" Izzy asked panicking. "Calm down, let's wait for them to come back. Jo get medical supplies ready"Izzy said. "Ok" Jo said leaving the room.
TK felt cold sweat running down his face. The digimon in front of them screamed darkness . He didn't how he could sense it, but he didn't care right now. The digimon had a robe with some weird cube shape he was identifying. Under the robe was pure darkness and two bright yellow eyes. "Hello, Wisemon I didn't know they would send one of their top soldiers". "Oh, Homeostasis I didn't see you their. I see your using a weak host to communicate with the worthless digidestined". Homeostasis growled, but didn't reply to the insult. "Patamon digivolve ". Patamon quickly transformed into his Angel Digivolution Angemon. "Angemon deal with Wisemon". Angemon lunged at Wisemon sending a hand of fate at the black creature. The digimon easily dodged before creating a black sphere. It sent the attack at Angemon, who tried to dodge but was hit.
Angemon screamed, dedigivolving into Patamon. "Patamon" TK screamed catching his partner. "Pathetic"Wisemon scoffed before disappearing. TK growled annoyed at the digimon before turning to look towards Homeostasis. "So why exactly are we here"TK asked with a growl his temper rising with each event. "Well there should be..". Homeostasis was cut off by her eyes losing its glow. She fell down most likely due to her time on Kari running out.
"Well this is just great"TK said sarcastically. "What's great"Kari asked during up holding her head. "Well first you were possessed by Homeostasis who told us to go to this temple. Then we arrived, but we're ambushed by a digimon that was very strong, and then Homeostasis couldn't explain why she brought us here. "Sorry" Kari said pouting. "It's fine". "I think the digimon's name was Wisemon" Gatomon added. "It's probably a lackey under one of the dark presences Izzy told us about". "Well what are we gonna do now"Patamon asked. "Umm, how about we go inside the ruins"Kari said putting her two-sense in.
TK nodded agreeing with the idea motioning for them to follow him inside. As they entered they saw the hallways were deteriorating, and there were rocks falling everywhere. TK was slightly disgusted by the state of the ruin, but played it off with a smile. As they headed deeper into the ruins the more it seemed that the ruins were falling apart. There was now water dripping on the ground for the corners of the ceiling. "Umm TK why did Homeostasis want us to come here again"Kari said dodging water droplets as they fell. "Honestly Kari I have no idea" he said. I laughed quietly as Kari pouted about water droplets falling on her head.
"Kari can we please leave, I honestly don't think there is anything in here" Gatomon complained like a toddler. "I want to, too Gatomon but first we just need to make sure nothing of here". "Kari were not even supposed to be here, we're supposed to go towards the location Izzy told you about"Gatamon complained again. I just tuned Gatamon and Kari's conversation out. Honestly he wouldn't have even gone inside of Wisemon wasn't outside. I mean there must be something inside of he was outside of it.
TK was getting annoyed, but hid it under a mask of happiness. They had been going in what felt like circles, and after a bit of time he found out that they were going in CIRCLES! Patamon though hadn't said a single word since they entered the ruins. He seemed to be in a state of daydream from what TK could tell from his eyes. TK didn't want to wake the hamster so they just kept walking. Suddenly as a split pathway approached TK was about to turn left before suddenly a sound of a yawn made him turn back. Patamon suddenly sat upright and turned towards TK. "TK go the opposite direction". I looked at Patamon confused on why we should go in that direction. "Just trust me".
TK was still confused, but nodded yes before turning around. Suddenly the ruins became pitch black losing all light in the temples. "TK what is going on"Kari seemed to be very scared. Suddenly I bumped into somebody most likely Kari as a second later I heard a scream. "Kari"I yelled to see if she was ok. "TK was that you". "Yes". I felt around for her hand and found it pulling her back onto her feet.
Suddenly the lights turned back on. "Why did the lights turn off and on so quickly in succession" Kari asked clearly annoyed. "It is a ancient ruin that do you expect, I'm personally surprised that it still has light". Suddenly the lights began flashing on and off again before finally becoming stable. Kari seemed to be especially scared after that. "Umm, TK will you hold my hand so I'm safe of the lights turn off again" she asked looking down. TK did not expect that question and was ramen aback. "Sure" he said his cheeks developing a dark shade of red. They heard Gatomon and Patamon giggling on the sidelines whispering something to each other. "Well lovebirds let's keep going through the ruins". Both teens started blushing at that comment, but turned towards the right hallway.
Entering the hallway they saw a giant room with four concrete walls boxing it in. The thing that stood out the most though was some weird language written on the wall in front of them. Approaching the wall TK slowly carved his fingers through the markings. They had enraptured his interests as soon as he laid his eyes on them. Kari stood off to the side wondering if TK could somehow read the markings and what they said or meant. It seemed Gatomon and Patamon looked just as confused as her. Suddenly TK's face lit up with recognition as his eyes flashed green. Nobody else luckily noticed due to him being turned around. Suddenly he could read the text on the wall.
"A child of both worlds, bathed in the light will face against a new threat. With the power of digimon and himself he will forge a new path for the digital world. He will either be corrupted by darkness or use light to overcome the threat. With the power of data in his hands he will become a good like being. If choosing the path of darkness he will rule the digital world with an hand off judgement. If choosing the path of light he will bring a new era of peace to the digital world. Using the power of data along with light and darkness in coexistence he will eventually become the king of the digital world".
"TK what are you even talking about"Kari chastised confused. "That's what it says". "How do you even know what it says it is just a bunch of scribbles. It sounds like done kind of dumb prophecy " Kari said. "Probably cause out is a prophecy "Gatomon added on. "Well I don't know how I could use it, but it does mention a lot about light which makes me believe you could be who this project is reverting to. It also talks about a child of both worlds which could be referring to Homeostasis". "TK this isn't the point your getting off topic". "Maybe it is just done weird ability that I have due to the crest of hope " TK said in a non-convincing tone. Kari was absolutely not convinced but dropped the subject. TK had a sneaking suspicion that this had something to die with his encounter with the dark ocean.
TK decided to save his ideas and theory making for later as right now was not the time. Pulling out his digivice he was about to recheck the location for the actual place they were supposed to go to, but his digivice had a no Internet so on it. "Hey Kari, my digivice has a no internet sign on it, how is that even possible" TK asked confused. Pulling out her digivice Kari saw the same thing as TK so she just shrugged her shoulders. "Well since we now don't know where we're supposed to go should we head back to where everybody else is. "Yeah that's probably the best idea for right now. We should probably also tell them about the prophecy that we found here and the encounter you had with the digimon" Kari said affirmatively.
With Ken and Daisuke...
Ken and Daisuke had been trying to find their location for hours, or what felt like hours. They couldn't seem to find the exact location on the radar it seemed they were going around and around the location instead. "Ughhh, Ken just lead is in the right direction"Daisuke said really annoyed. "Daisuke how about you try before complaining"Ken said already annoyed before Daisuke's complaining. I mean even Ken had a limit to his eternal patience and Daisuke was making him lose his patience further. I mean he loved Daisuke as a friend or even brother, but he was a super annoying friend. "Ya, Daisuke stop bothering Ken. Him and wormmon are trying their hardest to get us to our destination" Veemon said chastising Davis.
"Guys I think I found the path we were supposed to go on". Wormmon said in a cheery tone. "Yay, finally I was about to fall asleep from boredom. My ears were throbbing from Ken's talking...". "Davis I have put up with you this whole time, but don't even act like you weren't the one complaining and talking the whole time while the rest of us had to put up with the noise the whole time" Ken said with a tone of annoyance as his eyes twitched uncontrollably.
"Umm, guys we have arrived at the location" Wormmon said stopping the bickering between the two DNA digivolution partners. Looking around the area it seemed to be a completely normal looking meadow. "Umm, Wormmon I think you got the wrong location"Ken said confused on why Wormmon said this was the location. "No this of what the digivice says". As Ken continued walking some kind of barrier blocked him from walking further. "Guys there is some kind of barrier blocking us from entering the meadow, so Wormmon is most likely right in saying that this is the location". "So how are we going to get through the barrier..." Daisuke was interrupted s as the barrier shattered.
"Well that was easier than I thought" Daisuke said as he was about to step into the meadow. Suddenly a rumbling sound was heard as a full castle rose out of the ground. "What the hell"Daisuke said as he gaped like a fish. "Daisuke wait this could be a trap" Ken said getting into a fighting position. Though honestly Ken had no fighting capability. Suddenly a door opening was heard as the gang faced towards the sound. What they saw would haunt them for ages.
"Daemon...".
