"Did it do it"Lillithmon said staring at the Angel digimon. "Yes, and we have two captive digidestined" The Angel digimon said delighted. "Well then their are only 9 of them left so why not quickly ambush and capture them"Lillithmon said confusedly. "I will be cautious for now due to the weird evolution the child of courage's digimon went through" The Angel digimon said. "So what if another one undergoes a transformation I bet even two of us could destroy them"Lillithmon snarkily said. "You can't confirm that, we don't know their full power as even one destroyed Asuramon who is an Ultimate" The Angel digimon said. "So what we could also destroy them"Lillithmon said in anger.
"That is not the point" The Angel digimon said face planting. "We can't take any risks especially with our overworks forms being weak" the Angel digimon said. "Then lure them here, I am getting impatient"Lillithmon said. "Do what you want to do, just know that I am not starting the plan along yet. We still don't know who is the chosen digidestined though I suspect it's Light or Courage" The Angel digimon said walking away from Lillithmon.
"Well who rained on your parade"Daemon said chortling to himself as he walked in with the digimon with guns. "STOP"Lillithmon growled dangerously. "Well if he won't agree with me maybe these bozos will help me"Lillithmon said under her breath. "Here, I have a proposition how about you guys help me eliminate the digidestined"Lillithmon said smirking. "No" The digimon with guns said bluntly. "Trust me Princess, I have tried but those digidestined are slippier then you think"Daemon said raising his eyebrows. "Also you know it's Daemon's turn to try to eliminate them and your next" The digimon with guns said staring blankly at Lillithmon.
"Fine if you won't join me than I will take you by force"Lillithmon said her eyes turning a bright green. "You really think you can control us Princess" The digimon with guns whispered from behind Lillithmon before kicking her. "Ugh"Lillithmon said skidding backwards. "FINE I'm leaving"Lillithmon said before disappearing.
"What happened to her"Daemon said rolling his eyes at her short temper. "Don't know and don't care" the digimon with guns said polishing his guns. "What are you slackers doing here" the crocodile digimon said walking into the room. "Just formulating some plans"Daemon said in annoyance. "Your so lucky that it's your turn to destroy the digidestined. Though your clearly to weak to destroy them so my turn will eventually come up" the crocodile digimon said envy clear in his voice.
"Ya, whatever you want to tell yourself"Daemon said rolling his eyes. "Don't worry my turn is before yours so I will easily win" the digimon with guns said smirking. Daemon just sighed before sitting down. "Why do you think he wants us to take turns instead of just crushing them instantly"Daemon said scowling. "Idk, but he has some excuse about their new evolution method" the crocodile said annoyed. "I mean he did destroy Asuramon, he could probably give Daemon a run for his money but not the rest of us" the digimon with guns replied snarkily.
"Do you guys know, how they evolved further. Cause shouldn't they only have one mega" the crocodile digimon said. "Well we couldn't predict the change of events, so I think he is right with not attacking head on. Though it is a bit weird how this happened as soon as that weird presence was in the dark ocean" The digimon with guns replied. "So your saying they could have some correlation "Daemon questioned. "Well it is possible, considering that it could have something to do with that prophecy" The digimon with guns affirmed. "Where did he even find that old slab of text" Daemon asked quizzically. "I dont know, but who do you think the thing mentions" the crocodile digimon asked. "Personally I think it is either the child of courage, light, or that Davis kid. He seemed quite interesting when I observed him"the digimon with guns said not knowing he was agreeing with the angel digimon.
"Yes, he did seem to be quite special. Though honestly Sincerity, Knowledge, Hope, Reliability, and those two other digidestined that dont have a crest that we didnt capture are definetely not it"the crocodile digimon said. "Eh, I think any of them could be it. We just cant tell right now since we dont have enough evidence"the digimon with guns said absentmindedly. "Well we can still speculate"Daemon argued. "This conversation isnt really getting us anywhere"the digimon with guns said sweat dropping.
"Well anyway Barbamon must also be mad since Asuramon was one of his men"Daemon said snickering at the thought of a fuming Barbamon in his head. "Barbamon, doesnt care about anyone but himself. He probably is still annoyed at a possible setback"the crocodile digimon said. "He still has other lackeys he can use and dispose anytime"the digimon with guns added into the conversation. "Ya, he has the most tied with Lillithmon"the crocodile digimon said. "That is because those two are weak and need it to bolster their power"the digimon with guns replied. "Why was Asuramon destorying Toy Village anyway"Daemon asked. "I dont know, probably got bored and wanted to cause some havoc"the crocodile digimon said rolling his eyes at the foolishness.
Suddenly a loud sound came from deep within the tower seemingly sounding like machines. "Is that the digidestined"Daemon asked. "Ya, probably just finishing off the process with the first two then they will be sent off with some of Lillithmon's lackeys"the crocodile digimon said. "Have you let Devimon out yet for his revenge"the digimon with guns said turning towards Daemon. "Ya, he even put the child of hope in a nightmare to wake him up to fight sooner"Daemon said excitement in his voice. "I cant wait for my front row tickets"Daemon whispered.
The 11 remaining digidestined sat around in a cramped room each face looking down towards the ground. "How could this have happened"Mimi cried out silent tears running down her face. "How could we not tell the symptoms"Sora asked to the silent room trying to comfort Mimi. "He hid it from us all"Matt said clenching his fist in anger at the fact he coudnt even tell when his brother was in pain. "We should have helped him though"Yolei retorted looking down at the ground her hair covering her face. A snore tore everyone from their thoughts, as they saw Kari laying on the ground tears still running down her face. "Oh Kari"Sora said checking to see if she was ok. "We cant do anything, what if he doesnt wake up"Cody said his eyes wide in fright. The room felt dull and bleak, it felt like the tears were suffocating him. It was his fault he should have notices TK's pain. Even the skies seemed to weep at the sad news as the rain poured down like a waterfall doing little to brighten the mood.
"Is it all over"Mimi asked herself despair overriding her thoughts. Tai gazed around the room seeing the plight of his friends. He knew how hard it was, TK was like a little brother to him. Would TK really like to see the bright and bubbly digidestined in this state though. "Guys we cant give up"he started but was interuppted. "TK isnt here to give us hope anymore Tai"Joe said in a somber tone. "No, do you all really think TK would want to see us waste time weeping in a room like crybabies. NO, he would want us to be happy, you all can just lay here crying but I am going over to the hospital to spend as much time as possible with TK. TK would want us to hope, just cause it is uncurable now doesnt mean that TK will give up. The TK I know will hope and hope until he succeeds we all need to move on from a setback and keep looking towards the future"Tai lectured as he paced around the room. Finishing his speech he leapt towards the door to leave, not before picking Kari up though.
The room quieted down as each digidestined contemplated Tai's words. After a few minutes the dark atmosphere was back though. "He's right, even if we have limited time with TK we need to spend as much of it as possible with him"Matt said as heads turned to him at his confidence as he strode out of the room. Each digidestined slowly stood up reaching the same conclusion "We have to go"Koudshiro said as their sights set for the hospital.
"Devimon"TK said to surprised to react. "Well looks like you remember me child of hope"Devimon smirked and taunted. TK slowly backed away from the black smoke as it started to clear. "NOW IT IS TIME FOR MY REVENGE"Devimon cackled as he dove towards TK. TK leapt to the side as he hit the ground only his reflexes from his training kicking in to comfort his fall. "How do I beat him, I dont have Patamon to protect me this time"TK said his mind mentally berating himself his confidence continuing to wane. "Looks like I have got you now"Devimon snarled as he again lunged towards TK picking him up. "Finally, I can exact what I have wished for all these years"Devimon said as he flew up. TK just lay motionless his mind digging up all his worst memories. "Should I just die, would that do the world any good. I dont want to thought, I dont want to fail them"TK's mind said racing. "Its over"Devimon whispered into Takeru's ear as he dropped him.
Tai, Matt, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, Yolei, Ken, Cody, Daisuke, Kari I want to see you guys again. I just want to go home, I need to go home, I hope to go home. These were Takeru's thoughts as he fell through the air likely to his death. Suddenly a cushiony feeling was felt on his back as he wafted to the floor. "Looks like you are starting to beleive again Takeru"a voice echoed through his mind like a wildfire. Who was this and why did it feel so familiar, Takeru smiled as he softly hit the floor. His eyes barely open to see thirteen figures hovering above him striking Devimon. "NO DAMN YOU CHILD OF HOPE, I WILL KILL YOU IN THE REAL WORLD. I WILL GET REVENGE, NOTHING WILL STOP ME FORM WIPING YOU OFF THE FACE OF THE EARTH".
The hospital smelt like antibiotics and blood. Matt scrunched his nose on disgust as he opened the door to the hospital. Ignoring the smell he hurried to the front desk to confront the nurse. "What room is Takeru Takaishi in" Matt asked. "Room 207" the nurse said staring at him a bit weirdly. Matt ignored her, as he ran through the hospital. He didn't know why, but tears started flowing down his face. "TK please be ok, I'm failing you as a big brother"Matt whispered to himself. "Matt do you think TK would want you to fall to despair"Gabumon asked him calmly. "Gabumon I failed him, I'm his BIG BROTHER WHY DID I LET HIM DOWN"Matt sobbed as he crouched down on the ground. "Matt you always take the blame and keep your emotions all clogged in. Sometimes it's good to let them out and just be a normal teenager. Your a digidestined, sure but enjoying your life is way more important "Gabumon said patting the crying Matt on his back. "How am I going to continue though "Matt asked Gabumon. "Matt your not a failure at all, your the best person I have ever met and I bet TK feels the same"Gabumon said wiping Matt's tears away. "What would I do without you Gabumon"Matt said standing up.
They continued to run through the hallway reaching room 207 quickly bashing the door open. Matt walked in seeing Tai sitting next to TK who has a heart monitor attached to himself. "Is he doing fine"Matt asked taking a seat next to Tai. "From what I can tell it looks like he is fine"Tai responded.
Soon the rest of the digidestined started to file in to check whether TK was ok. They all stayed their to check on his condition and just observe him. Before they know it they are all laughing again. "It seems even though he is sleeping he gives them hope. No one notices but TK's heart monitor keeps going up into something shocking happens.
TK POV
I open my eyes groggily sitting up as I see all the digidestined talking not noticing me awake. Before I can react though I hear gasps. "TK"Matt says.
