AzureKing: Hey everyone, sorry for the late massive update, heh Let me tell you thanksgiving should be my superbowl cause its nothing but work for me. So I had to waste of day where I had to finished my fics into finishing off my dinner due to some circumstances and had to deal with my Bday, which was kind of hard with out my dad present to spend the day with…since my family and I had to work more to cover the cost of things it was really heartwarming to see thing do their best to make me happy despite the money problem. So now I am here to tell you all the update is ready at least, to my Pate-rons at my page, thank you so much each donation help with my bills and groceries that help my family. I will work harder to make new fics for you all so please continued to support me as best as you can!
This chapter will be my weakest as I wanted to keep the OC chapters going but playing the recent events makes me want to work on the main story and will work on the OC adventures in between campaigns, but after this chapter we're going canon! SO LETS EFFING GOOOOOOO~!

"Let's go move it!" A commander of the ARK general hospital shouted as the scene looked like a horror scene. The building entrance seems to have been imploded so badly that it looks like a giant hole, with the rest of the building barely able to keep standing up.
"Hurry it up! On the double!" Another shouted. "Get going or this place crumbles!"
"On it!" Many of the other on duty commanders said as Naruto and his class arrived at the scene. "God…" Beatrix said looking as a couple children were crying from being hurt, or can't find their parents. "Heavenly Ascension are monsters…"
"We can worry about that later. Let's try to get them out of here," Kuromu said.
"Hold up!" A woman said walking up to them, "Academy grunts stay here, tend to the injured, CPR and basic first aid."
"What?! But-" Kuromu protested.
"THAT'S AN ORDER!" She turned back with a glare, shutting him up before looking at Squad of NIKKE to move in the building. "Let's go, we're getting the rest outta of there!"
"Gh…" Kuromu gritted his teeth, clenching his shaking fist. "…This isn't right! We gotta help!"
"Then help the kids find their parents!" Naruto said picking a kid up in a piggy back hold. "We can't bit-" he comically stopped as he lifted the kid to adjust him, "Complain about our job."
"Tch… fine, but it still sucks!" Kuromu growled, before going over to one of the kids to help them find their parents.
"He lost his dad to an attack a couple years ago." Beatrix muttered as she and Naruto got a group of kids to the police tape line to reunite with their families. "He doesn't want to hear the usual 'we did all that we could' line when he can try himself."
"What about his mother?" Naruto asked.
"Still alive, though her health isn't that great…" Beatrix frowned sadly.
Naruto looked down in shame, despite being friends with these two he didn't really have time to know them. After getting more kids back with their families, the two sigh as they recover some stamina when they were given drinks by some other students as they looked at the Commanders in the damage building jumping out of windows to carry out civilians to safety…particular a blonde girl has been smashing back into the windows that weren't broken oddly enough while also screaming about 'being a hero'.
"Any news?" Naruto asked one of the younger students forced to do crowd control, shook their heads explaining that they didn't know much either. Just the report that a NIKKE was bombed in the hospital when they got the call. This was obviously a big deal since the terrorist group doing this had made the Central Government save face by sending everyone to show a strong military response against them.
"Damn….just what the hell is going on?" Beatrix groaned in frustration.
The blonde didn't say, despite his recent life in the ARK, he learn on the current events of the situation. This terrorist group, Heavenly Ascension, a group form from the Outer Rim, who wanted respect and citizenship recognition from the ARK. No one knows the leader, some rumors said the previous one was turned into a NIKKE. But the idea of causing these attacks were idiotic, even if they could do this it would cause both sides to be weakened and the dream of reclaiming the earth is less of a pipe dream and more of a myth.
"C'mon Bea, let's go help the others." Naruto said, as they had to help the others, before a female commander walked up to them. Saluting to their superior who pointed at Beatrix.
"You're coming, we need you to crawl to get a kid out, you're the best person for the job." She said as the young cadet looked a bit worried but nodded, "Good, come! And for you," she turned to Naruto before looking at the crowd, "Keep a lookout for any kids still."
"Roger that." Naruto saluted.
The female commander then led Beatrix to one part of the debris and showed her the hole that the child was buried under. The kid in question didn't look hurt, but was pinned by the debris that they can't move.
"Sweetie?" Beatrix said in a calm tone, "Are you ok?" She asked as the cadet got on her hands and knees to move closer to the ground, soon she crawled to carefully get to the child as safely as possible to avoid anything from moving.
"I can't move…" the child said. "I'm stuck. I can't feel my legs."
"Don't worry, sweetie. We're gonna get you out of there, just hold on until then." She said before hearing some rumbling around her, "Oh no!" She said as she felt things shifting out of place.
"W-What's happening?!" The child panicked.

Kuromu looked around the area, forced to keep an eye out for any people or suspicious activity. While he was annoyed with the situation he had to do his job well, "Damn you…" he whispered at the terrorist group that did this awful attack. It reminded him of his own despair. When the ARK was attacked, his father lost his life. As for his mother, the death of his father/her husband, had her bedridden for so long, as if she lost the will to live, but knew that she had to stay strong for her son. So Kuromu was doing everything he can to work hard so that his mother could rest easy.
"Kuro…" The teen turn to see Naruto
"Naruto, what are you doing here?" Kuromu asked the blonde, who passed him a bottle water and a Splendamin bar.
"You need a break, someone is going to switch with you and I volunteered to keep an eye out until the next cadet comes here." He said as Kuromu smiled a bit at the kind act.
"Ah, thanks." Kuromu sighed gratefully, taking the food bar and bottle of water. He then ripped open the plastic, containing the sweet grainy goodness and bit into it. "Ahhhh, I needed this… Where's Bea at?"
"A Commander asked for her help to get a kid stuck in a tough spot to pull out." Naruto said jumping on some of the debris to get a better look, "Anything out of the ordinary?"
"No." Kuromu shook his head. "Nothing."
The blonde was going to say something else before noticing something wrong, "What the hell?" The blonde said looking at a NIKKE Mass-Produce Model walking towards a side of the hospital in a odd manner as if she was lost.
"What? What's wrong?" Kuromu asked.
"There's this NIKKE, who looks like she's out of place or something." Naruto said as Kuromu looked confused too as he stood up and saw what Naruto sees.
"You don't think she's-" Kuromu trailed off.
"Hmm…stay here, I'll get a Commander on the line." He said getting a radio on his belt and spoke, ["Uhh, testing, this is Cadet Naruto on the back of the hospital. Did anyone send a NIKKE over?"]
For a moment he felt worried until the radio soon had an answer he wanted, ["Negative,"] And his heart went stil as he heard more, ["All NIKKE's are inside the building or-"] Naruto stoped listening as he heard loud steps from his side to see Kuromu rushing forward. "Shit," Naruto freezes before trying to catch up to him. "Kuro wait! ["Repeat possible Heavenly Ascension member! REPEAT! Possible Terroist!"] He added to the radio before dropping it to see Kuromu was way ahead of him due to his distracted act of calling it in.
"Stop!" The other cadet shouted as he saw the NIKKE grit her teeth, removing the helmet to show a feminine male face as he tossed it to the side and lifted a remote.
"Freeze! Hands where I can see 'em!" Kuromu shouted, aiming his gun.
"EQUILITY FOR THE OUTER RIM!" He shouted with a crazed smile as Kuromu eyes widen as he saw the 'armor' of the costume he wore were actually explosives!
"No-!" He said as the terrorist clicked the button. Naruto tried his best to reach his friend as he saw, as if the world slow down, the worst moment in his life. He saw the Heavenly Ascension member body seemingly slowly rip apart from the growing bright explosion…
"No!" The blonde said as Kuromu stood there likely to stun and also possible knew he couldn't outrun it in time. It was like… he saw this before…

Blinking one time…and the blonde saw he was in a barren wasteland. As far as the eye can see, he saw no signs of life. Only the ground and dozens of machine like monsters attacking him, soon he saw the sky as he was tackled by a pink haired woman, "Naruto! You need to wake up!" She shouted to him with worry in her eyes.
"Huh? What?" Naruto looked absolutely confused of what was going on.
"Naruto! Come on! Dammit what was Lilith thinking letting you come after your surgery?" She said before getting a white gun and taking some blind shots over her shoulder, "Dammit, the radio is busted… our squad can't find us in this storm…I think this is it." She seethed.
"What's… going on? What's happening?" Naruto asked, watching a machine coming from their side. There was no way to escape, but he had to run…he had to get her out now. Even if he can't escape he had to try for her, "We have to run!"
"There's nowhere to run!" She said, "This is… this is really it."
"Remember the implant we gave you is experimental…never use it unless it's life or death…"
A female voice echoed in his mind, something was wrong. The voice he heard was usually cheery and kind. But this was cold and serious
'No… this… this is all wrong!' Naruto thought to himself. 'I have to-!'
He remember the word she told him to use to get them out of there, there was a chance he'll die…but if it meant saving her then…

The blonde bit down his teeth as he shouted out with hope that his odd day dream was going to work, "Sandevistan!"
SANDEVISTAN, ONLINE!
As the words came from his mouth, he heard a mechanical voice from his back. His spine inside of his clothes glowed an ominous red, and suddenly there was the sickening sensation like someone boiling the inside of his spine. Naruto shouted in pain as he felt his spine strangely pulsing back. Then he realized…everyone and everything was…stopped!
No, not stop…
It just slowed down, he took a step forward and felt he was normal compared to the slowed down universe. "Don't stop…" he whispered as he dashed forward, grabbing Kuromu and pulling him away from the impending death he was about to be in. But his eyes turned to the explosion causing the wall of the hospital to crack apart from the impact, "Crap!"
Soon he made a decision to rush to the side with Kurogasa on his shoulder, looking at the sight of the explosion still slowly expanding, "Sorry!" He said to his friend before tossing him to a nearby air mattress they had to get people from the upper floors, despite him throwing him off…it was a comical feeling to see his friend not realizing he was being saved with the stun look of surprise as he was sent to the comfy spot.
"Gotta get everyone out!" The blonde said dashing into the hospital running on the walls thanks to his immense speed and footing as he saw both NIKKE's and Commanders/cadets in the halls. He soon grabs each one by one, sending them to the window to where other impact cushionings would be or placing them in the front of the building where they would be away from the collapsing building.
"Don't stop!" Naruto gritted as he continued trying to save as many people as possible, he slipped a bit but using the small mistake to help him cut time as he continued to get out. "Huff…Huff…" He remembers the number of people entering both NIKKE and Commanders, there shouldn't be anymore.
Getting the last two out, he smiled as the blonde grit his teeth when his back felt like it was searing with pain. "Gah…" he fell down to his knees as he saw people falling down like shooting stars when he tossed them from the building to their safety spots. "Is that everyone?" He asked tiredly as he tried to stand up only to regret it.
"Whoa!?"
"How'd I-?"
"Commander what happened!?"
He heard the voices of the people he got out as soon as they were all silent.
"Dammit…" Naruto groaned as he eventually fell face first. "Somehow I managed to get them out of there…"
"Where's Cadet Beatrix?"
Naruto's eyes widened at the sound of that, looking to see the Commander that Beatrix was with, suddenly trying to pull herself out from the cushioning, "She's still in? I didn't see her!" He shouted as the woman nodded and pointed at the entrance.
"She's in the hole, there's a kid with her!"
Naruto grit his teeth as he whispered, "Sandevistan!" He said eyes flashing red as he felt his spine was WAYYY worse than before, like someone replacing his spinal cord with an iron pipe that was aflame for days!
"ARGH!" Naruto shouted in pain before managing to move over to the hole and try to lift up the debris. "BEA! BEA WHERE ARE YOU?!" He soon saw a hole before feeling his whole body start to stiffen out as he found a woman about to walk out of a hole her foot almost out while holding a child in her arms.
"Naruto! Hurry! Take the kid!" Beatrix urged, as she saw the walls crumbling, "I'll be fine goooooo-"
Naruto eyes started to bleed as he ran the ability once more, "Gotta…hold on…he said dashing as he tried to make the girl slip out and saw the foot was pinned under rebar and other things keeping her in place…he looked at her before closing his eyes. "…I'm sorry…"

"NARUTO!" Kuromu shouted as ran towards the building as two NIKKE's held him in his spot, "Dammit we need to get to them!" He begged as the top floor collapsed first as the next and next…until it all came down. "No…not again…" he weakly said as tears fell down at the thought of his friends dying at his mistake.
"Don't…assume we're dead jerks…"
Kuromu's eyes widened and smiled…before it fell flat as he saw the two friends of his in bad states. Naruto was bleeding from his mouth and eyes but smiling nonetheless, "We need a medic." He said as in his arms was Bea and the child they saved, the child was slightly injured but Beatrix was worse…her right foot was missing as a tightly wrapped arm sleeve was keeping her from bleeding out.
"Guys!" Kuromu rushed towards them. "Thank God you're alive! I thought-"
"…I think…I pushed it…" Naruto said as his eyes rolled to the back of his head as he lean backwards and fell hard.
"NARUTO!"
"Call…Ingrid…" the blonde asked as he saw a white light. "Lili…"

"…" Ingrid, Anderson and Mana sighed as they waited for news. Meanwhile, Ingrid's personal medical staff were trying to help Naruto. "Well it seems I was right." Mana coldly said as she pulled up a hologram dossier of Naruto's body, "That spinal injury wasn't something to ignore, it was a military technology."
"You're sure of this." Andersen frowned in thought.
"100%. I ran a diagnostic scan on said spine and it confirmed my suspicions." Mana said, as she enhanced the image to magnify it. "See this right here?" She pointed to a disc, "That isn't normal," She pointed to a small part inside of it, "Tech that's so far ahead than what we have shows one thing…Pilgrim."
Andersen silently grips his hand into a fist, "…Are you sure?" He asked as Mana looked a bit concerned at her own findings, losing his balled up fist for a more relaxed state.
"Not entirely. Tetra Line and Elysium's tech were still in the prototype and production test phases at the time. But Pilgrim was way ahead of its time back then. This is amazing!" She said a rare tone of excitement evident in her words, "This is a time dilation device!"
"A what?" Ingrid said never hearing that term in her life.
"It basically makes the user go forward or back in time by however many seconds." Mana explained. "But I'm sure that there are limitations to using said device."
"No…" Anderson said as he looked conflicted, "I heard rumors, a prototype machine made from Rapture parts and NIKKE parts that were too unstable to use for testing. They created an aid for a soldier who was injured protecting a Goddess Squad member, it said despite being normal he was able to be part of the legendary Squad despite being normal."
"I heard those rumors too…" Ingrid said looking over experiments for her NIKKE's for a specialized Blitzkrieg unit, "But the process wasn't stable, most of the prototypes burned out or could break the mind of the NIKKE's." The tactical woman said as she remembered the broken minds of her mistakes of the past with dealing with things that shouldn't touch.
"Rapture parts are infamously difficult to handle…and illegal." Mana said, raising an eyebrow.
"It was the beginning where we had no choice but to make really bad choices." Andersen defended as the loose morals of ethical choices were scared when even the Goddess Squad wasn't as good as the Central Government would have liked. "But it still begs the question. Why are Rapture parts infused on Naruto's spine to begin with?"
Soon before anyone could say anything they heard music…rather…annoyingly catchy music. "NON! NONNONNON~!" A glamorous voice said as everyone turned to see a man wearing a rather…flamboyant outfit came as he shimmy towards them. "EEEEEEEEE-ntertainment!"
'Mustang…' Everyone sweat dropped as he strutted down to the middle of the room as he posed like he was in a certain anime with powers that would make one do that often.
"For you see, Raptures are in many ways like humans~ they constantly grow stronger as time passes. So using the Rapture at that time was possibly the best course of action, they were easier to meld and use for parts than the current ones at the time." The man said as the music died down, "Bon, my friends, shame on you for now letting me join in on this little discovery~!"
"How did…?" Ingrid asked as Mustang merely cutely winked at her as he pulled up an image of Rosanna to the screen as Anderson sighed forgetting that the Underworld Queens are Mustang ace in the hole in the Outer Rim. Three powerful women who are secretly NIKKE that their own families don't know, Rosanna was one of the more vocal members compared to Moran and Sakura, who informs Mustang when things are to his attention.
"Rosy told me about a cute boy making her rather keen on making him her commander," He said giggling on how his sweet girl was falling in such a cute way, a criminal woman being with a soldier, ah~! Maybe he can used this a show for his Tetra Channels?
"Sigh, well better you than the current CEO of the last of The Big Three," Andersen said as Mustang was a close friend, even ally to their little alliance to keep the Government not totally control the ARK. "Sorry we had to keep you in the dark, we know you have been having a hard time since the Underworld Queen were recently added to your roster of NIKKE's."
"Ohoho~ merci Monsieur Andersen for your concern,." The man waved off as he took a seat, "So ze Legendary Sandevistan… I remember the concept but the idea was scrap." He said as he looked into the boy's body. "Well well~, Rosy chose such a handsome specimen."
"Mustang…"
"Oops~ sorry bad habits~! Now where was I? Oh yes. Zere~" He said pointing to the boy's muscles, brain, and organs, "My god…"
"Holy…how did I miss that?!" Mana said moving next to Mustang as she ran small diagnostic tests. "This kid's body is like it was bred to fight." She said as the doctor muttered, "Muscle density is thicker than most people by at least ten times, his brain activity shows he can think faster than most, and his organs are basically doing things faster and stronger than most. His body is not as strong as a NIKKE, but close to it!"
"Are you saying that Naruto is capable of fighting against the Raptures as if he were a NIKKE?" Ingrid asked.
"Sadly not even close, he can possibly hurt a NIKKE barehanded, but that's at best." Mana shook her head. "Not even our NIKKE's can go toe to toe with a Rapture without their weapons."
"Hmmmmm…" Andersen frowned in thought.
"Still we should keep on eye on him-" Mustang was going to say more until they heard a call coming through as they saw a white clad doctor covered in blood and took his mask off as they saw a smile.
"The rookie cadet Naruto has been saved, his spine overheated but using a dangerous combination of Liquid Nitrogen and careful nerve blockers he was able to survive the cooldown. He will be a bit sore and will need time to recuperate." The doctor explained as Anderson sighed softly, "Delete the notes and process we did?"
"Yes, I'll tell the cadet not to overuse his…ability for the future.." Andersen sighed. "Is he conscious now?"
"Yes."
"Good Mana, Ingrid, let's go. We need to debrief him."

"…I feel like shit." Naruto said as Mana jot down his reaction to her question on how he felt. "And wonder what the hell I do?"
Anderson took a seat as Naruto saw him looking serious, "First off, as a superior of yours, I am proud you saved everyone you could during the second bombing. But as your guardian of sorts, I am not happy with the fact you nearly died from the fact you used an unknown variable despite the fact you did save others."
The blonde lowered his head from the scolding as Anderson continued, "I assume you have no idea what happened that you can remember that gave you this ability?"
"None whatsoever." Naruto shook his head. "Where are Kuro and Bea? How are they doing?"
"Kuromu is ok, he has some cracked ribs from the explosion that he said he was in front of until he 'suddenly' appeared in front of the building." Ingrid explained as Naruto looked a little happy, but his heart sank as the dark skin woman looked a bit downtrodden. "Beatrix…had to be taken to emergency surgery, please tell me what happened."
The blonde took a deep breath as he spoke, "The last time I used my thing, I saw her leg was too pin down to pull her out…so I had to slice it off or lose a friend." He said remembering the sharp knife that he keeps for emergencies to do the deed.
"I see, well that is a good choice." Ingrid said but looked a bit worried to say the next part. "I will pay for her rehilbiltation, next year she can be a Commander if she wishes too."
"Next year?" Naruto said as he saw the woman nod.
"It's not going to be like she can walk like she used to. A prosthetic limb with our tech is going to take a couple months to furbish and assemble, plus there's the surgery to attach it, which usually doesn't cooperate, but can make due."
Anderson nodded as he added in, "Even if she puts her nose to the grind to miss the time she lost she won't be able to keep up with the rest. I'll try to ask for some help for her situation saving a child, but the worst is that she will be delayed to be a commander for six months. But we need to lay some ground rules, you will never use the Sandevistan, the ability you'd use, without permission or you're a commander."
The blonde didn't have a right to refuse, he nearly died using it three times, but he needs to keep using it if it can help others, "I'll agree if we do test this ability I have." He requested as the three looked at each other and nod, "What should I do now?"
"Recover, the fact you saved everyone gives us something to research on your body a little more carefully." Andersen summed up as the blonde understood. Most of the conversation went like that, keeping secrets, tests in the future and then he will be able to resume to his commander school.
After some time he was able to leave, with a NIKKE to monitor him later when he returned home, but before he could the blonde went to the hospital to meet with someone who will have the NIKKE meet with him there. Reaching to his location the blonde walked up the floor to find the person he was looking for, he saw the name next to the door and knocked. "Hello?"
"Come in." A voice said from the other side of the door.
The blonde did so as he walked in to see Beatrix who was smiling as she was playing on a portable console as the injured girl waved at him, "Hey! There's my knight in shining armor!" she waved as she showed her missing foot, "Look half off sneakers!"
Naruto could only grimace slightly. He knew she was trying to hide her pain. Not just from the physical, but the mental as well. The mental being from the fact that she wouldn't be able to graduate on time with her friends.
"Hey…" Beatrix said with a calm tone, "I'm here because you saved me…if you didn't, you'd be more of a wreck than me losing a damn foot." She said with a serious tone as she slipped off her bed, standing tall despite her missing appendage, "See?" She said as the cadet wiggled her leg that had no foot. "No different than I was before, just need to adapt, so you can't- whoa!" she started only to fall forward until Naruto grabbed her, "Ahem…so you can't feel too bad." She finished as he put her back on the bed. "So I won't graduate in time, so what? Some Commanders don't all have their limbs and make it. Don't worry so much!"
The blonde still felt bad but the girl's words did lighten some of his pain from his guilt, "Well… okay then."
"If anyone needs a cheer up, it's Kuro. He's… been kinda moody."
Naruto knew why, it was because he charged at the terrorist and was why the girl had to lose her foot. He probably thinks it's his fault people got hurt from his hotheaded action, he saw from the side window that Kuromu was coming, "Naruto!" The teen said hugging the blonde worried how he seemed like he was dying until Elysion medical team took him away. "Bea." He said gulping at the girl lifting her leg, making him pale before she winked.
"Alllllll~ legs~" she winked only for her joke to fall short. "Seriously, are all guys easily depressed?"
Naruto sighed as he noticed the male teen's hand as he saw two letters in it, "What's with the papers?"
"Anderson gave them to me." Kuromu said, handing one of them to Naruto. "This letter guarantees our…actually, just read it."
The blonde took the paper and read it, 'Dear Future Commander Naruto Uzumaki, we are sending this letter to inform you that, in recognition of your service, the Council has decided to allow you to work with a NIKKE squadron of your choice. In light of this, you will have to work daily missions to the surface. If you wish to finalize this, please refer to the second page of this letter to choose which NIKKE to work with after graduation. Please understand in times of war or great importance you will be sent to the surface without warning if needed. We expect great things from a hero like you.'" Naruto looked over the second paper, " Infinite Rail, Aegis, A.C.P.U., Mighty Tools, Prima Donna, Maid For You, Happy Zoo, 777…Underworld Queen (Recommended by CEO of Tetra Line). "
"Wow I heard people who work with those Squads almost never have to head to the surface while getting paid with big bucks." Bea said as Kurome handed her one, "Me too?"
He nodded as the dark haired teen handed it to her.
"I might not choose." Naruto said as he looked at his two friends, "I want to go to the surface and make a difference, not hide."
"Figures~" beatrix said as she looked at the choices, "Hmm…I might not have much choice if my physical rehabilitations doesn't pan out, but I will do my best no matter what…as long as there's some cute girls with me~" she said with a smirk clearly enjoying the two boys smiling a bit from her antics.
"Yeah, that's always you." Kuromu chuckled.
"What about you?" Naruto asked Kuromu.
"Me?" He muttered, before looking at the list. "I… I'm not sure. There's a lot to choose and consider."
"...sorry for this." Naruto said before smacking the other male back of the head with an open hand.
"OW! What the hell, man?!"
"Choose what you want to work for not because you feel guilty," he said as the teen looked at him, "Don't…Don't let a chance like this go when you can seriously consider a new path." He said before looking at the letter he has and walked away. "I gotta go home, Bea, I'll visit soon."
"Naruto…" Kuromu muttered, watching his friend walk off.

"Now please hold still~" A woman with closed eyes said as she held a syringe as she injected Naruto with a small painkiller, "There you go~" she said as the blonde rubbed on the spot she stabbed.
"Thanks…" He looked at the NIKKE that was assigned to keep tabs on him, Mary from Squad Seraphim, despite her NIKKE status she is an accomplished doctor that can handle many impossible surgeries that usually require two or more people.
"No problem, cadet~" Mary said. "Be sure to come back in a few more weeks for your next dosage."
"I think you just like stabbing people…" The blonde looked pale as the woman didn't refute it, but even smiled a bit more coyly at the idea. As she left the blonde sighed as he had to get used to the fact he caused someone he cares about pain but the fact she was alive should make him happy. The blonde took a moment to think as he looked at the clock he was off the academy and needed to walk to get his mind off his situation,
Moving to Royal Road he allowed himself a small moment of time to let his brain no longer think as he tried to ponder on this situation. "I need a drink." He whined, needing a sleep aid he was going to get a tea to calm his nerves.
"Dammit, why did I have to choose the only Physical Currency vending machine out of all the ones in the Royal Road!?"
The blonde heard a female voice as she seemed to push a machine around from the loud noises it came from around the corner. There he saw a rather busty blonde woman almost crying as she seemingly spent the last of her money as she tried to hit the machine on the right spot to refund her. "No, that was my only bill left!"
Naruto moved towards her as he passed her a bill he had on his wallet, "I need a drink, mind helping me use the other half on yours?" he offered as the girl saw Credit signs in her eyes before taking his bill interesting to hit her drink and with equally incredible speed got the spare change and moved back. "O…k…" Naruto said, stunned at her impressive skill as he got the tea he wanted to drink.
"AHHH~! Nothing like a fresh soda in the middle of the night!" The girl giggled as she felt the stress of her work bubbling away as she drank her favorite thing in the world. "Thanks mister! I owe you, seriously." She said as the blonde sat on the stone bench as the girl beamed at him. "What's keeping you up at night?"
"My future."
"Pfft you're too young to be thinking about that. But I hope things go well…" She said before thinking of something, "Come here, I got a good luck charm for ya!"
"Really?" Naruto asked, walking up to the girl who nodded with a rather suspicious smile.
"Close your eyes~!" she said as the young man did what she said, "...Keeping them close?" Nodding, she giggled before Naruto felt something on his cheek, "There~! Thanks for the soda~"
The blonde comically blinked as he felt something wet and realized the girl kissed his cheek, making him smile as he sighed. "One day at time…" he whispered as he had no rush while he could take his time on his choice.

"You will all go to the surface for a routine mission! This will make you all realize this is where the men are separated from the boys!" A Commander who was clearly activated said to the teens and rookies who were walking up to the elevator, "I hope you can all be prepared to see your first Raptures."
Naruto took a moment to collect his breath as he took his next spot to the elevator, "Time to see the surface…" He closed his eyes and hoped his first trip would be nothing bad…what's the worst that can happen?

AK: So next chapter we're things start, and as for the OC's we will see them again. My only nitpick is that I wanted to show them more to have them either die or have more tension later on with the events that happen thanks to a certain Squad. But this lets me keep them at bay until I want to use them again. So from here own in we're going to start the main story! review lots to show me what you want me to work on it!
