"Here we go.. This'll be interesting." Makucha chuckled darkly.
Nala starts towards Scar, the hyenas attack Simba in a wall of teeth. The lionesses join in. We see Pumbaa and Timon come in. Pumbaa is charging with Timon riding him. Hyenas are flying everywhere.
TIMON AND PUMBAA:
Heeeyyyy-yaaaaah!
TIMON:
'Scuse me. Pardon me. Comin' through. Hot stuff. Whoo!
Bowling strike sound effect as hyenas fly. Rafiki whacks a hyena off Simba. Camera switch to him; with a battle scream, he joins the fray. As a bit of comic relief, Rafiki is fighting in kung-fu "B-movie" style, complete with cheesy sound effects.
"Can you please teach me how to do that?" Makini pleaded. "Yes, but we'll have to do it later." Rafiki chuckled.
RAFIKI:
As he hits various hyenas
WwwA! Hozah! Hazoww! Yaa! Yah! hhyEEOOWww!
Timon runs from Shenzi. He runs into the cave. Zazu spots him. Timon runs into his cage for safety from the hyenas.
ZAZU:
Let me out! Let me out!
TIMON:
Let me in! Let me in!
To the hyenas, pleading
Ple-he-hease don't eat me.
Pumbaa appears at the cave's entrance.
PUMBAA:
Problem?
BANZAI:
Hey, who's the pig?
Those who knew Pumbaa knew what was coming.
PUMBAA:
Are you talking to me?
"Oh boy.." Kiara sighed.
TIMON:
Uh oh. They called him a pig.
PUMBAA:
Are you talking to me?!
TIMON:
Shouldn't 'a done that.
"Why? Why shouldn't they have called him that?" Kijana asked. "You'll see." Spirit cackled.
PUMBAA:
ARE YOU TALKING TO ME?!
TIMON:
Now they're in for it.
"Warthog missile launching in T-minus 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…" Dusty counted.
PUMBAA:
They CALL me… MIIiSTER PIG! AAAAAHHH…
Pumbaa charges and drives the hyenas off.
"Wow. He really went hog wild." Nuka joked. Almost everyone laughed.
TIMON:
Take that! And that!
BANZAI:
Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow….
PUMBAA:
Take that! And that! You yellow belly…
ZAZU:
Take that, you stupid…
"Whatever happened to ixnay on the oopid-stay?" Kovu smirked as Zazu rolled his eyes.
They start the Arsenio Hall "Ooh, ooh" chant.
WITH SIMBABreaking free of the fighting hyenas. Simba looksaround the area. There is no sign of Scar.
LIGHTNING FLASHreveals Scar, sneaking up Pride Rock. SIMBA runs after Scar, throughflames and smoke up the steep incline.
"Let's get ready to rumble!" Dusty called out, using his magic to conjure up a jacket and microphone like he was an announcer at a wrestling match.
"In this corner, we have the rightful king of the pridelands- Simba! And in the other corner, we have the murderous usurper- Scar! Three, two, one, fight!"
Behind him, Spirit pranced across the front of the room wearing a pink sparkly swimsuit and holding up a sign that read 'Round 1'.
EXT. TOP OF PRIDEROCK - MOMENTS LATER
Scar runs up to the edge and sees the sheer drop. Simba emerges from a wall of flame, his mane smoking.
SIMBA:
Quietly, severely
Murderer.
SCAR:
Simba, Simba. Please. Please have mercy, I beg you.
"I don't think he'll be too merciful." Kiburi stated.
SIMBA:
You don't deserve to live.
SCAR:
But, Simba, I am… ah…
Unsure of his tactic
Family. It's the hyenas who are the real enemy. It was their fault-it was their idea!
Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed are in the background. They overhear and back away growling at Scar's betrayal.
"You probably shouldn't have said that when they could hear you." Reirei interjected. "In hindsight, it was a bad idea." Scar admitted.
SIMBA:
Why should I believe you? Everything you ever told me was a lie.
SCAR:
What are you going to do? You wouldn't kill your own uncle…?
Ingratiating grin
SIMBA:
No, Scar. I'm not like you.
"That iss obviousss." Ushari hissed.
SCAR:
Greatly relieved
Oh, Simba, thank you. You are truly noble. I'll make it up to you, I promise. How can I, ah, prove myself to you? Tell me; I mean, anything.
SIMBA:
Gravely, with deep anger
Run. Run away, Scar. And never return.
"Harsh. He used your own words against you." Uncle Max pointed out.
SCAR:
Yes. Of course. As you wish…
Looking down and seeing a pile of hot coals
…your majesty!
Scar swipes the coals into Simba's face. With a cry of surprise and pain, Simba paws the coals away as Scar leaps and attacks.
There is a fight in slow-motion. Both Scar and Simba land heavy blows. Simba gets knocked on his back.
"Scar goes for a bite to the back of the neck, but Simba gets him off with a roll and a slap, but not before he gets away with another bite! Simba does a lunge-slap combo, and Scar slashes him in return! That's gonna sting for a while. Now it's his turn for the lunge-slap! Simba slaps him and Scar retaliates! They're gonna feel those in the morning!" Bunga narrates excitedly.
"We don't need commentary, Bunga!" Kion laughs.
Scar leaps through the flames at him. Simba gathers courage and uses Scar's momentum in a "throw" similar to Nala's fighting tactics to send him flying over the edge.
Scar tumbles to the bottom. He weakly gets up. He sees Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed approaching and smiles.
SCAR:
Ahh, my friends.
"Your 'friends' don't look happy to see you." Ora spoke.
SHENZI:
Frie-he-hends? I thought he said we were the enemy.
BANZAI:
Yeah, that's what I heard.
SHENZI AND BANZAI:
Ed?
ED:
(Laughs evilly and licks lips)
The number of hyenas increases. TheirLAUGHTERbecomes an eerie/menacing choir.
Several animals were creeped out by this.
HYENAS:
Hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee!
THE HYENAS eyes glaring, advance on Scar.
SCAR his eyes widen; his smilemelts into a look of horror.
"Well, he's screwed himself big time." Janja quipped.
SCAR:
Very nervous
No. L-L-L-Le-Le-Le-Le-Let me explain. No. You don't understand. No! I didn't mean for... No, No! Look, I'm sorry I called you... No! NOO!
The camera moves away and we can only see the shadows as the horde of hyenas closes on and devours Scar.
Almost everyone cringed at the thought of Scar being eaten alive. "Now do you see, Zira? It was the hyenas that killed Scar, not Simba." Spirit asked. "You-! You must have changed this with those powers of yours!" She growled and attempted to pounce on her, but she conjured up a force-field just in time. Regardless, Zira clawed and bit said force-field trying to bust through until Scar pulled her off. "Zira, stop. They didn't change anything. That is what happened." He explained to her. Zira's eyes briefly widened in shock. "Well. Even if it is true, Simba is still partially to blame. He did send you flying off Pride Rock and down to where the hyenas were." "That's still being debated." Dusty remarked.
SEQ. 20 (EPILOGUE/CIRCLE OFLIFE REPRISE)
Rain opens up and douses the fire. Simba comes down and greets his mother and Nala. Rafiki motions for Simba to ascend Pride Rock as king. Simba starts up and pauses to hug Rafiki as his father did.
RAFIKI:
It is time.
Very majestically, he ascends through the rain. Through a hole in the clouds we can see a patch of stars. One bright star shines out briefly.
Everyone had no words as they watched Simba's ascension.
MUFASA:
Remember…
Simba's expression gains confidence and strength. He lets out a magnificent ROAR.
LIONESSES look up from below and answer back with JOYOUS ROARS.
"Long live the king!" Ono chirped. Mufasa and Sarabi smiled at seeing their baby boy become the king they knew he was always meant to be.
PRIDE ROCK - LONG SHOT
rainy, grey. In the foreground, an acacia tree blackened and damaged by the fire.
MATCH DISSOLVE TO:
PRIDE ROCK - LONG SHOT
brilliant, flourishing. In the foreground, the acacia tree in full bloom.
"And now everything's back to the way it should be." Beshte said. "Yup." Anga concurred.
Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and Nala are on Pride Rock. Zazu flies up to the point. Timon, of course, is shaking his arms in the classic victory sign. All the groups of herds are there and making noise as in the presentation of Simba.
A few animals chuckled at Timon's antics.

Simba and Nala nuzzle. Rafiki appears, holding Kopa.
"I'm guessing that's you?" Vitani smirks. "Yes." Kopa groans, blushing bright red.
CIRCLE OF… LIIIFE
He lifts him to present him to the crowd. Bass drum hit and black out to red lettering as in the beginning. The circle is completed.
Almost everyone cheers. "That was great!" Sarafina complimented. "I am glad Simba returned home and fulfilled his destiny." Janna added. "All right, you guys can all hang out in the break room for a bit while we get the next film ready to go." Dusty announced. "Hey, Pumbaa- five grubs says the next one's about us." Timon challenged. "I don't know- I think the next one might be about Kiara, since this one was about Simba." The warthog replied. "We'll just have to see.. Anyway, I still think it'll be about us." "I think Kiara!" "Us!" "Kiara!" "Us!" "Kiara!" They argued all the way to the break room. "Those two will never change." Spirit shook her head.
Well, that's it for TLK1. I think the cub at the end is Kopa because it doesn't look anything like Kiara did in the opening of TLK2, and it definitely isn't Kion. Anywho, get ready for the first chapter of Simba's Pride coming soon!
