Showing old geezers how it's done: Chapter 6

Chapter Start

September 1985 / 40 BBY, Ilum:

A few hours earlier:

Padawan Ro Malafe led the group of younglings back towards their transport ship, her steps determined and her expression stern. The expedition to Ilum had been eventful, but not in a way that brought pride to the Jedi Order.

Aayla Secura, a youngling with blue skin and a bright spirit, couldn't contain her frustration any longer. She walked up to Ro, her anger evident in her voice. "Padawan Malafe, why did we leave Harry behind? Master Yoda entrusted you with us six when he left earlier, we can't just leave one of our own."

Ro turned to face Aayla, her eyes cold and unfeeling. "Peverell is not one of our own," she replied curtly. "He's different, a freak, he creeps me out. I made the decision to leave him behind because he's not fit to be a Jedi. Master Yoda said it himself that those that do not return in time have to wait until the next group of younglings come. The Order has no place for someone like him."

Aayla's face flushed with anger, her fists clenched at her sides. "That's not fair! Harry may be different, but he's kind, brave, and the others shun him for no reason. You have no right to judge him!"

Ro's lips curled into a condescending smile. "Aayla, you're young and idealistic. You don't understand the realities of the Jedi Order. We can't afford to be burdened by someone like Peverell. It's for the best that he's not with us. "

Aayla's frustration turned to sadness as she looked at Ro. "You're wrong, Malafe. Harry deserves a chance, just like all of us" her sadness then turned to anger again "And he is already a better Jedi then you will ever be" she said and turned around, walking away and not regretting her words one bit.

The other younglings watched the exchange, their expressions a mixture of fear and uncertainty. They had all noticed the absence of their fellow youngling, Harry Peverell, during the walk back to the ship, and now they were beginning to understand the true reason behind it. Ro Malafe's arrogance and unfeeling nature had been exposed, and it left a bitter taste in their mouths. But she was in charge so what could they realistically do?

As they continued their journey on the transport ship and left Ilum behind, Aayla couldn't help but wonder if there was a way to change Ro's mind and make her see the potential in Harry that she had chosen to ignore.

Ro herself felt genuinely justified in her actions and had no qualms about reporting what she had done to her master.

And so the journey went on as the five younglings on board of the transport ship started to build their lightsabers, each of them having trouble to focus on what they would normally be doing right now as all of them kept thinking back to their fellow youngling who was left behind to what they perceived to be personal squabbles between to Jedi of different ranks.

On Coruscant:

The group of younglings nervously went past Master Jinn who waited for Padawan Malafe's report, among them Aayla Secura who experienced a moment of Schadenfreude when she realised that Harry's abscene would be noticed immediately. She really didn't want to snitch on her fellow Jedi but if the masters punished her on their own then she had no problem with it.

"Padawan Malafe, I can remember that you and Master Yoda were supposed to go to Ilum with six younglings" Qui Gon Jinn told the young Zeltron with a curious expression, wondering if he had misheard.

"That is correct, Master Jinn, may I ask where my master is?"

"Knight Selzin is currently meeting with the High Council. She has been chosen for a new mission and you are to join her immediately but first: Please tell me why I have only seen five younglings go past me instead of six? Is the last one perhaps still on the ship?"

"No, Master Jinn. Initiate Peverell failed to return in time and I chose to leave him behind in the crystal cave as is proper"

Qui Gon was speechless at the gall of the padawan in front of him and needed a few seconds to regain his composure when he heard just who the Zeltron girl in front of him had left behind on Ilum.

'Peverell? Oh dear girl, you will regret earning Master Dooku's wrath if you just spoke the truth' Qui Gon thought, remembering what his master had done to Senator Dagonet all those years ago.

"... You are serious, aren't you? ... For your sake I hope that Initiate Peverell is still alive once we return to Ilum"

"What do you mean 'return', Master Jinn? I mean the next batch of younglings is traveling to Ilum in like a week, no?"

"Are you seriously suggesting that we leave Initiate Peverell on Ilum for more than a week?" Qui Gon asked, his voice full of shocked sarcasm. When the padawan didn't answer but merely fiddled with her fingers he sighed and said "Come with me, padawan. We will be lucky if we find him alive should we start the journey there within the next hour" after which Qui Gon started walking, making sure that the padawan followed him.

**Scene Break**

The Jedi Council chamber was filled with a heavy atmosphere as the meeting was already underway. Jedi Knight Kres Selzin, a Falleen with distinctive green skin and black eyes, sat in silence, absorbing the tension in the room. The Council members, seated in their respective chairs, were discussing a matter of great importance, their expressions grave. As it was becoming more and more frequent, the chancellor had personally asked the Jedi Order to help out with a political hotspot.

Kres cleared his throat, drawing the attention of the Council. "Honorable Masters, forgive me but I would appreciate more details about the mission to Ilum before we proceed."

Before the Council could respond, the chamber doors opened, and two Jedi entered. Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master, and Ro Malafe, a Padawan, stepped into the chamber. Their presence immediately caught the attention of the Council members.

Qui-Gon spoke first, his voice filled with urgency. "Masters, we have returned from Ilum, but not all is well. I am afraid that Padawan Malafe's actions on the mission require immediate attention."

Yoda, the Grand Master of the Order, fixed his wise gaze on Qui-Gon. "Explain, Master Jinn, what has transpired on Ilum."

Qui-Gon proceeded to recount the events on Ilum, describing how Ro Malafe had made the decision to leave Harry Peverell behind in the frozen caves, believing he was unfit to be a Jedi. He explained that he was preparing a rescue mission to save the young initiate, knowing the perilous nature of the frozen planet.

Yoda's ears drooped slightly, and he sighed deeply. He turned to Ro, the disappointment clearly visible in his eyes "Disappointed in your actions, I am Padawan Malafe. Believing yourself to have acted properly, I can feel but a mistake it was I have to tell you."

Ro, standing before the Council, tried to justify her actions. "Master Yoda, I only followed what you said and I can clearly remember you telling that those that are not able to return will be left behind."

Yoda's gaze remained stern as he responded, "Twisting my words to fit your purpose, you are. Going into the caves and search for the younglings, we do not unless no other option there is. Leaving them behind on Ilum we do not either, however. Remain on Ilum and wait for Initiate Peverell you should have. Leave now, travel to Ilum with Master Jinn you shall and see what your actions have caused."

Qui-Gon Jinn nodded in agreement, acknowledging the wisdom of Yoda's words. He knew they had to act swiftly to rectify the situation.

Once Ro and Qui-Gon had left the chamber, the High Council members began to discuss potential punishments for Ro's actions. They understood that her decision had placed Harry Peverell in grave danger, and normally they should have taken steps to make sure something like that was never going to happen again.

In their ignorance however, they merely focused on this one case, thinking that punishing Padawan Malafe would solve the whole issue and prevent others from doing the same.

Several council members were wary of Peverell and a few of them were of the opinion that he might become dangerous for the order in the future but still, he was one of them and Padawan Malafe's actions were extremely worrying.

"I propose that Padawan Malafe will be confined to her quarters for the immediate future" proposed Master Rancisis with a disappointed expression.

"Does anybody have anything against this proposal?" asked Master Windu but noone spoke up against the proposal.

"Additionally I think it's best if she stayed on Coruscant for a while in general. Her personal grievances with Initiate Peverell have clouded her judgement to the extreme and I worry that we may have ignored reports of her arrogance and bullying tendencies for too long" added Master Yaddle.

"How about we have her and her group of friends join a rehabilitation program? We have to admit that it is not only her that has shown these worrying tendencies" said Master Koon.

"Agree I do, worrying her actions are, put her under supervision we must. Stay on Coruscant and join a rehabilitation program Padawan Malafe and her friends will." concluded Master Yoda and the council members switched to another topic, mainly remaining problems of the fall out of the Stark Hyperspace War and the Battle of Galidraan.

**Scene Break**

Qui-Gon Jinn walked with purpose through the corridors of the Jedi Temple, his quick steps echoing in the quiet hallways. His destination were the quarters of his former master, Dooku.

The two had shared a deep bond as master and apprentice, and Qui-Gon knew that Dooku's wisdom and counsel were needed now more than ever. He also knew that Dooku would want to search for Harry himself.

As Qui-Gon approached Dooku's door, he took a deep breath to calm himself. He knew that Dooku's reaction to the situation on Ilum would be strong, and he needed to present the facts calmly and clearly.

With a gentle knock, Qui-Gon announced his presence and waited for Dooku's permission to enter. The door slid open, revealing Dooku standing near a tall window, his back turned to Qui-Gon.

"Master Dooku," Qui-Gon began, "there is a matter of great urgency that I must discuss with you."

Dooku turned to face his former apprentice, his expression a mixture of curiosity and concern. "Speak, Qui-Gon. What troubles you?"

Qui-Gon recounted the events on Ilum, describing Padawan Ro Malafe's actions and her decision to leave Harry Peverell behind in the frozen caves. He explained that he was preparing a rescue mission to save the young initiate, but the situation had grown complicated.

As Qui-Gon spoke, Dooku's expression darkened with each word. His usually composed demeanor gave way to a simmering anger that was palpable in the Force.

"Unbelievable," Dooku hissed through clenched teeth. "The audacity of such a decision. To abandon a young initiate in peril on Ilum, it is unforgivable."

Qui-Gon nodded, understanding the depth of Dooku's anger. "I share your sentiments, Master, but please remain calm. We must act swiftly to correct this grave error and ensure the safety of young Harry."

Dooku paced the room, his frustration evident in his every movement. "Ro Malafe's actions have put the reputation of the Order at risk. Her arrogance and recklessness cannot be tolerated. When is the rescue mission going to take place?"

Qui-Gon agreed, "I have already informed the Council, and they have ordered us to travel to Ilum to rectify the situation and are most likely currently discussing potential punishments for Padawan Malafe. Master Yoda himself believes it is imperative that we retrieve Harry and address this matter. Additionally, the senate has graciously provided us with a medical ship that is currently being prepared and will leave the surface in about an hour."

Dooku finally stopped his pacing, his gaze fixed on Qui-Gon. "We shall depart for Ilum as soon as possible. It is imperative that we bring Harry Peverell back safely and more importantly, alive. Where is Padawan Malafe now?"

"She is currently in her quarters which is also our next stop as she has been ordered to travel to Ilum alongside me" Qui-Gon answered.

With a shared understanding of the urgency of the situation, Qui-Gon and Dooku made their preparations to embark on a mission to Ilum, determined to rescue the young initiate and uphold the principles of the Jedi Order.

**Scene Break**

The Republic medical ship stood poised on the landing platform, a beacon of hope for several members of the Jedi Order in the dim twilight of Coruscant. Its sleek design and prominent red markings of the Type RMC-O7 marked it as a vessel dedicated to healing, a symbol of compassion in a galaxy fraught with conflict. Near the ship's descended loading ramp were a team of paramedics and Jedi who would embark on a mission of utmost urgency.

Qui-Gon Jinn stood near the entrance, his weathered face etched with concern. He knew that time was of the essence, and the fate of a young initiate rested on their shoulders.

By his side was Dooku, his former master, now disillusioned with the Order but willing to stay for Harry's sake, who had a personal interest in the well-being of Harry Peverell, believing him to have the potential to change the Order for the better.

The bond that had formed between them was still in it's beginning stages but already quite strong, and Dooku was determined to see Harry safely returned.

As they prepared to board the medical ship, Dooku's thoughts were a mixture of determination and worry. He had watched Harry persist through multiple extremely dangerous situations and the thought of finding him dead on Ilum weighed heavily on his heart, the waste of potential would be catastrophical.

But that was it of course, Dooku absolutely had no personal attachement to the young Initiate, of course not. The Jedi Code and more importantly what he saw in Harry compelled him to protect and nurture the young boy, and Dooku was resolute in his commitment to bringing Harry back.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, Harry's friend and basically the grandpadawan of Dooku, shared similiar sentiments. He had witnessed Harry's kindness and yearning for knowledge during their time together at the Jedi Temple, and he already considered the young initiate to be like a younger brother. Obi-Wan couldn't fathom the idea of leaving Harry behind, and his determination burned just as brightly as Dooku's.

Ro Malafe, on the other hand, felt a mixture of emotions that ranged from defiance to anger. She knew that her actions had led to this perilous situation, and that she normally wouldn't be able to escape the weight of them should the freak be found dead.

As a Jedi Padawan, she had been trained to put the needs of others before her own, and yet her reckless decision had endangered Harry's life. However, she believed her actions to have been justified and that she would soon be able to convince other Jedi's that the boy would be the end of the Jedi Order.

Ro couldn't help but feel a tinge of resentment towards the council, whom she believed to be ignorant to the threat the freak posed. Her pride had been wounded when Harry had exhibited skills beyond his years, and her jealousy had clouded her judgment. Now, she was faced with the consequences of her actions, and the knowledge that she might be punished severely.

Together, the team boarded the medical ship, each with their own thoughts and emotions, and all but one united in their determination to rescue Harry Peverell. The ship's engines roared to life, and they departed from Coruscant, hurtling through space towards the icy world of Ilum, where their mission of redemption and rescue awaited.

**Scene Break**

September 1985 / 40 BBY, Ilum:

Everything hurt and Harry didn't know for how much longer he'd be able to survive the bitter coldness of the planet.

Denial had turned to anger as shortly after realising that he had been left behind he had raged at Master Yoda, believing the small green Jedi to be responsible for Harry's situation.

He had cried and raged as he used the force to smash several smaller ice statues in the giant hall into pieces, ruining the serene atmosphere of the place but Harry didn't care at all right now.

Anger turned to bargaining and Harry had walked back into the crystal cave to force another confrontation with a force ghost even if he believed that it may have been a hallucination within his own mind.

But it was to no use and after a few minutes, reality began to set in. Harry had no idea when the next ship would come and when the Jedi Order would start a rescue mission for him.

But would they even try and rescue him? They had no idea of his knowledge of the future and thus deemed him (rightfully) to be of no importance in the larger scheme of things.

Bargaining turned to depression and tears began forming in his eyes when he walked back out of the crystal cave into the entrance hall. He curled up on the small elevated podest in the center and began to wallow in his depression for a minute.

But then his mind began to clear again and, still sniffling, he sat up.

'What the hell is wrong with you Harry? Why do you give up when you have never done so before? Did you give up when Quirrelmort rushed at you in first year? Did you give up when Diary Tom called his basilisk in second year? Did you give up when you were surrounded by dementors in third year? Did you give up when you faced Voldemort in fourth year? Did you give up when you and your friends were outnumbered in the ministry in fifth year? Did you give up when you saw the man you saw as a mentor get killed by the man you despised in sixth year? And did you give up when everything seemed hopeless during your time with Hermione alone in the tent in seventh year? No? Then why the fuck do you give up now?" two voices, sounding suspiciously like Hermione and Ron, called out to him inside his head.

Depression had turned to acceptance of his current situation and Harry smiled, even in a different universe were his best friends still with him.

Looking around, he sighed, knowing that he had to become active if he wanted to survive. He immersed himself in the force, asking it to guide him, asking him to help him in his quest to find warmth and thus to survive.

Guided by the force, he started walking towards the wall, almost walking into the icy surface of the wall before he came back to reality.

He was confused for a moment but had an idea what the force might be telling him to do. Thrusting out his hand he used the force to punch into the surface, breaking through after almost a dozen times. He sighed relieved when he looked inside what must have been a normal room once.

The room mainly consisted of ice but he could make out normal rock beneath it. Multiple shelves filled with different utilities could be found inside the room like blankets and wood (both frozen but still usable) that were stacked on top of eachother.

He gathered a few logs of wood, walked to the fireplace that was frozen and dropped them off there. He then gathered the little amounts of magic he had access to and, pointing his left hand towards the fireplace, tried to use an incendio.

"Incendio" he said repeatedly, his voice becoming louder and louder with every attempt, until he was shouting at the top of his lungs.

Desperation set in and finally, after what must have been 20 minutes, the spell finally worked and a medium sized flame ignited the smaller wood pieces in the fireplace.

Using his emotions that were currently slightly out of his control, he kept fanning the flames every now and then, letting the room's temperature rise enough that he wouldn't freeze to death any time soon but not enough to make the ice in the room melt.

**Scene Break**

The medical ship dropped out of hyperspace and entered the cold, desolate space around Ilum. The planet loomed before them, its surface covered in a glistening blanket of ice and snow. The ship's pilot expertly guided it through the frigid atmosphere, aiming for a specific location on the planet's surface.

As the vessel descended towards Ilum's frozen landscape, the team of Jedi and medical personnel onboard prepared for their mission. Qui-Gon Jinn, Dooku, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ro Malafe stood at the ready, their faces determined and resolute in case of the first three and petulant aswell as grumpy in case of Ro Malafe.

The ship's landing gear gently touched the snow-covered ground near the entrance to the giant entrance hall that led to the crystal cave. The ramp descended with a hiss, and the team wasted no time, rushing out of the vessel and into the biting cold.

The group sprinted through the snow storm, their breath visible in the frigid air. Their boots left deep tracks in the pristine snow as they approached the massive ice wall that separated them from the heart of the cave system.

The entrance to the great hall was just beyond that imposing barrier, and they could only hope that Harry Peverell was still alive and waiting for their rescue.

Obi Wan took a moment to whistle in appreciation that the entrance had already frozen over enough.

Qui-Gon, leading the way, and perhaps a little too agitated to enter the proper way, ignited his lightsaber and began to cut into the ice wall with precision and determination.

The blade hissed as it made contact with the frozen surface, and slowly but surely, a hole began to form. Dooku and Obi Wan looked at eachother and shrugged, eventually deciding to join in, their lightsabers helping Qui-Gon's cut through the ice.

The medical team, equipped with specialized gear for cold environments, stood ready to administer aid as soon as they reached the great hall. They rushed inside when the hole was large enough, Dooku leading them as he could feel Harry through the small force bond that they had already established.

The Jedi and the medical team moved deeper into the entrance hall, their footsteps echoing in the cold, dark corridor. They arrived at a side room that seemed out of place in the hall. Multiple shelves lined the walls, holding supplies like blankets and small logs of wood. It was a stark contrast to the rest of the cave, and it puzzled the Jedi among them that such a room even existed.

Qui-Gon Jinn led the way, his lightsaber casting an eerie glow over the shelves. As they ventured further into the room, they spotted something that sent a shock of relief and worry through their ranks.

Harry Peverell lay almost buried beneath a small mountain of blankets near a modest fireplace in the far corner of the room. His form was pale, and his breaths came shallowly. The young boy looked utterly exhausted and utterly frail in the midst of this icy world.

Without hesitation, the Jedi and medical personnel rushed towards him. Qui-Gon and Dooku reached him first, their hearts pounding with both fear and hope. They carefully uncovered the boy, revealing his unconscious face.

"Check his pulse," one of the paramedics instructed, and with trembling hands, they did.

A sigh of relief swept through the group as the medic confirmed a weak but present pulse. Harry was alive, and that was more than they had hoped for given the circumstances.

Obi-Wan Kenobi's gaze met Qui-Gon's, his blue eyes reflecting the mix of emotions they all felt. Relief, gratitude, and concern hung in the air. The Jedi Master couldn't help but feel a surge of protectiveness over the young boy they had come to rescue.

Ro Malafe, however, remained silent, her expression unreadable.

'The brat should have died... would have made my punishment worth it' she thought to herself and watched the scene with an air of detachment that did not go unnoticed by her fellow Jedi.

Back on the medical cruiser, the team of Jedi and paramedics rushed Harry to the onboard medical station. The boy was carefully placed on a diagnostic bed, and the medical droid immediately set to work. It scanned him from head to toe, and the results left it stunned.

"I do not understand," the medical droid said, its metallic voice tinged with a hint of bewilderment. "The boy's body temperature has dropped below 33 degrees. He should have long died of hypothermia. His frostbite has caused damage to his face, but it is not irreparable."

Qui-Gon Jinn exchanged a worried glance with Dooku. The situation was dire, and they had witnessed Harry's near-death experience firsthand. It was nothing short of miraculous that he had survived.

Dooku, his anger simmering beneath the surface, turned to Ro Malafe. His gaze was stern and unwavering as he spoke. "You can consider yourself lucky today, Ro Malafe. The consequences of your actions could have been far more severe."

Ro shivered, not from the cold but from the weight of Dooku's anger. She knew that she would have likely suffered an unfortunate accident if they had found Harry dead. As it was, she had endangered the life of a youngling and jeopardized the reputation of the Jedi should the incident become known to the public.

Soon after, she was led to the brig, where she would await further consequences for her actions on Ilum.

A week later found Obi Wan watching Harry through the glass with a worried gaze. The younger boy had been dumped into a bacta tank immediately after the diagnose and had not recovered yet.

**Scene Break**

October 1985 / 40 BBY, Coruscant, Jedi Temple:

Consciousness had gradually returned to Harry over the first few weeks of his treatment, it was like a slow, hazy dawn breaking over his senses. At first, he was aware of nothing but a numbing cold that seemed to have seeped deep into his bones.

The chill was pervasive, wrapping around him like an icy embrace. Then, there was the sensation of stiffness, his body unresponsive and heavy as if he were encased in a cold substance. But it had gotten better and at some point he fell into a deep slumber.

Now, with his body healed, his mind was ready to return to duty one could say. It started slow but with each passing second, his senses slowly came into focus.

He could hear the faint hum of machinery and the steady beeping of monitors. The sterile scent of a medical bay gradually filled his nostrils, and he felt the soft, yielding surface beneath him, a stark contrast to the frigid cold he had endured on Ilum.

Harry's eyelids felt heavy, like they were weighed down by the remnants of a deep slumber. He blinked, trying to clear his vision. The sterile white surroundings of the medical bay gradually resolved into focus, and he realized he was lying on a medical bed.

A sigh of relief escaped his lips, a weak, raspy sound. He made it, he recognised this place, he had been here before. He was back in the Jedi Temple.. The memory of his ordeal on Ilum flooded back, and he couldn't help but shudder at the recollection. He felt as if he had been trapped in that frozen cave for an eternity.

As sensation returned to his body, he became aware of a dull ache in his limbs and a lingering numbness in his fingers and toes. It was as if his body had forgotten how to function in the warmth of the medical bay after being subjected to the brutal cold of Ilum.

Just as he was starting to regain some feeling in his extremities, a medical droid glided into view. It approached him with mechanical efficiency, its multiple arms equipped with various instruments and sensors.

"Ah, you are awake," the droid stated in its clinical tone. "Please remain still. I will ensure that you are in good health."

Harry watched with a slight sense of detachment as the droid performed a series of scans and checks. It seemed satisfied with the results, and Harry couldn't help but feel grateful for the advanced medical technology in this universe that was tending to him.

He marveled at the droid's ability to diagnose and treat injuries that would have been fatal in less advanced times.

He was sure that a mediwitch as accomplished as Madam Pomfrey would have achieved similiar results but since force healing didn't seem to exist, he was glad for the advanded technology.

Meanwhile, in the Jedi Temple, the Jedi on shift had noticed Harry's awakening on one of the monitors. They immediately informed the High Council of the development.

Word quickly spread through the temple, and three Jedi Masters - Dooku, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Obi-Wan Kenobi - arrived at the medical bay almost simultaneously around ten minutes later. Their expressions were a mix of relief and concern as they approached Harry's bedside.

Dooku, his usual composed demeanor showing cracks of emotion, was the first to speak. "Harry, my young friend, you gave us quite a scare." His voice held a warmth that was rare for the stern Jedi Master. He placed a hand on Harry's shoulder, offering both support and reassurance.

Qui-Gon nodded in agreement. "Indeed. We were all worried about you." His piercing blue eyes conveyed the depth of his concern, and he gave Harry a reassuring smile.

Obi-Wan added, "I am glad to see you safe. Can't have my protege die on me before I am knighted, can I?" His voice was filled with mirth but Harry was able to make out the immense relief in Obi-Wan through the force. Also, the older boy had witnessed Harry's determination and strength during his time on Ilum and was clearly impressed.

Harry couldn't help but offer a faint, grateful smile in response to their words. It was heartwarming to know that he had a support system in the Jedi Order, even in his most trying moments and that not all Jedi were as emotionally detached from life as Master Yoda, Windu and Mundi seemed to be.

The medical droid continued its work, monitoring Harry's vital signs and administering treatments to expedite his recovery. It was a testament to the Jedi's commitment to their members' well-being that such advanced medical facilities were available within the temple.

As the minutes passed, Harry's strength slowly returned. The numbness in his limbs gradually receded, replaced by a tingling sensation as blood circulation improved. It was a small victory, but it marked the beginning of his recovery.

Dooku and Qui-Gon left, returning to their duties, while Obi-Wan remained by Harry's side for a while, his presence a comforting anchor. He and Harry exchanged knowing glances, silently communicating their shared relief that the young initiate had survived the harrowing ordeal on Ilum.

For Harry, this moment served as a reminder of the bonds he had forged within the Jedi Order but also the internal problems it faced.

He was not alone in his journey, and he had mentors and friends who cared deeply for his well-being.

But there were also clearly a lot of Jedi that were prejudiced against what they perceived to be outside forces.

It was a realization that filled him with a renewed sense of purpose and determination as he embarked on the path of a Jedi.

End of Chapter

To GeorgeChristian810: I wonder just what you find so horrible of my decision. In any case, saying that Anakin having a sister makes no sense and is useless doesn't help me at all but I guess you don't care about that (should you even read this). Anyway, good riddance and I hope some other author pampers to your opinions a bit more than I do.

To Anubis1650: Thank you for the extensive review, I have chosen to heed your advise and removed the scenes starring Rob.

To EricFreak: I think your comment resolved itself. ;)

To Guest: Yeah he is not pleased as you can see ;). I will not comment on the second part as I don't want to spoil future content.

To SqrlLrd: I feel like I recognise your name from somewhere but I cannot point it out. Anyway, massive thanks to your extensive review. I have addressed the first part and changed Chapter 3 accordingly, though it is only a minor change. Regarding the wookie trees: I have not researched the lore but I remember the Kashyyyk scene in ROTS and the wookie houses don't seem to be that high up. I have written you in hopes you can clarify the last two parts as I do not quite now how to address them, so I'd appreciate a response to my pm.

To WhiteElfElder: I can say that I intended it was Malafe's jealousy because of her percieved favouritism that is being shown to Harry. Also, his progress is slow but he is progressing.

To Guest: 1. Yes, 2. You will see hehe 3. No not really

To ladarm: Thank you for your vote of confidence my friend but they did have a point.

To Guest: You are somewhat right and I have changed the part you are critisising slightly, make it less final. Check it out, I hope you like the change.

To Geladrigel: I can tell all of you that Harry will not end up with Anne as a romantic or sexual partner. The age difference when they shall meet is simply way too large.
