"Soooo..." The man's wife said awkwardly. "I guess we should start by introducing ourselves. Hi, my name is Lois Griffin, and this is my husband, Peter, and these are our beautiful yet disappointing children, Meg, Chris, and Stewie. And this is our dog, Brian."

"Hi, I'm pleased to meet you!" Brian greeted them as he stood up on his hind legs and extended his paw for them to shake.

"Uhhhhh, is it me, or did that dog just stand up and speak?" Martin asked, completely taken back.

"Well, it's nice to meet you too!" Jackie exclaimed as she and the rest of the gang reached out and shook Brian's, as well as the rest of the family's hands.

"I guess we should introduce ourselves too," Matt replied. "Hi, I'm Matt, and this is Jackie, Digit, and Nezzie—I mean Inez!" He introduced. "We're the Cybersquad!"

"I'm Martin!"

"And I'm Chris!"

"And we're the Wild Kratts!" The two exclaimed in unison.

"Sure is nice to meet someone else who is also named Chris, isn't it?" He turned his attention to Chris Griffin.

"There can only be one!" He suddenly whispered, while staring menacingly at him, much to his discomfort.

"And I'm WordGirl!" She proclaimed.

"Woah, no way!!! Are you a real superhero?" Stewie exclaimed. "That's so amazing! The closest thing we have to a superhero is that one guy who dresses up as one and goes to little kids' birthday parties."

"You mean that crack addict who sleeps behind the Home Depot?" Meg asked.

"What kind of superpowers do you have?" Chris Griffin asked excitedly.

"Well, I don't want to brag or anything, but I do possess the knowledge of all vocabulary words and meanings; no big deal!" She said proudly.

"Wow, that's kind of lame. I was expecting you to have super-strength, or the ability to fly at the speed of sound, or, I don't know, have superpowers that were ACTUALLY interesting!" Chris Griffin nitpickingly replied.

"Her name is WordGirl, what do you expect?" Stewie argued.

"Well, actually, I do have both super-strength and the ability to fly faster than the speed of sound. And what do you mean knowing about words is lame? It's not lame!" She shouted furiously.

"Sounds pretty lame to me!" Meg quietly replied.

"Shut up, Meg!" Peter interrupted.

"Oh, please, if I wanted to know what a word means, I could just look it up in a dictionary!" Chris Griffin argued.

"Says the fatty who has no idea what a dictionary is!" Stewie loudly remarked. "Ugh! Just forget about him! He's nothing but an incompetent buffoon!"

"Uhh anyways, what brings you here to Quahog?" Lois asked, nervously trying to change the subject.

"Well, at least we know where we are now." Matt thought to himself with some relief. He noticed that the others seemed to feel the same way. "You see, we're from, I guess you could say, a different version of Earth; WordGirl is our town's crime fighter; and the Kratt brothers travel around the world researching different creature powers."

"Wait, so are you saying that where you're from, people and animals have SUPERPOWERS?!" Chris Griffin exclaimed, utterly shocked.

"Not exactly; what we mean by creature powers is, we're talking about the many different and unique characteristics creatures have to survive." Martin Kratt explained.

"From having sharp claws for climbing trees to specialized vision for seeing in the dark, many creatures each have their own creature powers, which help them live free and in the wild!" Chris Kratt exclaimed.

"Oh!" Chris Griffin replied, somewhat disappointed.

"Anyways, as I was saying," Matt briefly said as he, with some input from the others, continued to explain what had happened to them in the past few days, from the villains teaming up and defeating WordGirl and the Kratt brothers, to them finding out about the Protectors of Cyberspace, and how they used four powerful crystals to defeat Patheo and protect the multiverse, and how Hacker wants to find the crystals and take over. All while Peter and the rest of his family carefully listened in disbelief.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry that happened to you! Please, stay for as long as you need!" Lois replied sympathetically.

"Wait, wait, wait, so let me get this straight: What you're saying is that now there are these powerful villains who are now searching for these magical crystals, and once they find them, they're going to take over the entire multiverse, and now we're all doomed because of you?" Meg angrily rehashed.

"Well, I wouldn't say THAT, I mean, it's inherently impossible for someone to take over the entire multiverse, considering how big it is!" Inez quietly replied.

"But knowing Hacker, there's no doubt that he wouldn't miss an opportunity!" Jackie insisted.

"Alright, before we get too caught up with ourselves, I just have one question. What's the multiverse exactly? You guys keep talking about it a lot, but you aren't exactly going into much detail." Chris Griffin asked.

"Well, you see, there's this theory that there are possibly other alternate universes that coexist alongside our own, each reality being different from ours. Sometimes with slight differences, sometimes quite radically." Stewie explained.

"So you mean that there are other universes too?" Chris Griffin asked.

"Yes, but it's also quite possible that there are other alternatives to those alternate worlds as well." Stewie added.

"Wait, so are you saying that there are possibly alternate versions of Cyberspace as well?" Jackie asked.

"That means that there's a possibility of an alternative version of Cyberspace where we never came to Cyberspace and Hacker had managed to take over!" Inez said with disgust, trying not to imagine such an idea.

"Unfortunately, that might be a reality back in our world!" Digit said sadly.

Just then, there was a loud knock on the front door, "I'll get it, it's probably the guys!" Peter declared as he walked over to open it. When he opened the door, three men, one in a wheelchair and another being black, came into the house.

"Hey Peter, are you ready to head down to The Clam like we do every evening?" The man in the wheelchair asked.

"Oh, you bet I am!" Peter said happily, "But first, I'd like to introduce you to our guests. Guys, meet Matt, Jackie, Inez, Digit, WordGirl, and Martin and Chris! They'll be staying with us while they try to save the multiverse. Everyone else, I'd like you all to meet my friends, Cleveland, Joe, and Quagmire."

"Hello, it's a pleasure to meet y'all's acquaintances!" Cleveland greeted.

"Hang on, save the multiverse? Peter, what are you talking about?" Quagmire asked.

"It's a long story." Digit groaned. "I'm honestly starting to get tired of repeating it."

"Don't worry, I'll tell you later!" Peter said quietly.

"Hey Marin and Chris, would you guys like to come with us to the Drunken Clam?" Joe asked.

"Thanks, but no thanks!" Chris Kratt kindly declined.

"Yeah, we don't really drink beer or anything!" Martin sheepishly replied.

"Oh, come on, we insist! You guys are probably going to be here for a while, so why not have some fun and forget about your problems for at least a little bit!" Peter insisted as he and his friends ushered them toward the car.

"Okay, I guess. I mean, it's not like we have a choice or anything." Martin grunted as they pushed them outside. Brian then closed the door as he stepped outside, following them.

"Welp, if you need me, I'll be in my room masturbating." Chris Griffin declared as he headed upstairs. Meg also went upstairs to her room, while Lois went to the kitchen, leaving them alone with only Stewie.

"Alright, we shouldn't beat around the bush now. You said this Hacker guy was going to take over the multiverse. Well, we better act now before it's too late!" Stewie proclaimed.

"Look, Stewie, we're happy that you want to help, but we're not sure there's anything you or any of us can do." Inez explained.

"Yeah! Besides, we don't want to get you guys involved with something that you didn't have anything to do with." WordGirl added.

"Yeah, but if he's going to take over the multiverse, that means that he's going to come here, looking for you! I can help you stop him, and luckily I know exactly how!" Stewie explained.

"You do?" Matt inquired.

"How?" Inez asked.

"You see, Brian and I have traveled through the multiverse many times before, and I created a multiverse remote that we used to help us get around!" Stewie explained. "Although, during our last adventure, it got severely damaged. If I can fix it up, it can help you guys get back to Cyberspace and help you stop Hacker, as well as the rest of the villains!"

"You really think you can do that?" Jackie asked.

"Of course I can! "It's going to take me quite a while to fix it, as I have to replace many of the remote's components," Stewie said. "Meet me up in my room, and we'll formulate a plan!" He spoke before running upstairs to his room. "Well, what are you waiting for?!" He shouted when he noticed that they weren't following him, they quickly got off the couch and followed him upstairs to his room, unsure what he had in store for them.

...

Back inside the Multiversal Networking System, moments after Hacker and the rest of the villains had thrown the Cybersquad, the Kratt brothers, and WordGirl into one of the portals, they went back to the other room and sat around the large table to discuss their next plan to take over the entirety of the multiverse. Originally, they only planned to take over Earth and Cyberspace. But when the opportunity presented itself, they knew they couldn't resist.

"Alright! Now that those menacing fools are out of our way, no one can stop us from taking over the multiverse!" Hacker exclaimed before being interrupted by his two henchmen.

"Wait, Boss, you want to take over the entire multiverse? Are you sure that's a good idea?" Delete asked skeptically.

"Of course it's a good idea! Tell me one good reason why it isn't!" Hacker shouted angrily.

"Well, for one thing, the multiverse is really, really, really big!" Delete exclaimed, moving his arms with emphasis.

"Also, are you really sure you can take over the entire multiverse?" Buzz asked.

"Hang on, I'm afraid these two Rust-Buckets have a point. I mean, who knows what we'll have to deal with?" Tobey responded.

"Well, we do have one of the Protectors of Cyberspace's crystals. All we have to do is find the other three, and then we'll be unstoppable!" Zach exclaimed.

"But how exactly will we find the other crystals? They could be anywhere!" Ms. Question asked.

"And if we were to search each and every one of these portals, that could take who knows how long!" Gourmand proclaimed.

"And may I need to remind you that some of us don't have much time left?" Granny May loudly replied.

Hacker then turned to Max, who was looking down at them with little to no emotion. "Max! Since you used to be the assistant to the Protectors of Cyberspace, that means you know where they hid the other three crystals! So I order you to tell us where they are, pronto!" Hacker demanded.

"I can't exactly g-give them their exact location, but I'll give you this clue!" Max replied, causing Hacker to bite his tongue.

"Look! We don't have time for riddles! Just tell us how to find them!" Hacker shouted angrily.

"Check the book!" Max sighed.

"Book? What book?" Buzz asked confusedly.

"He's talking about the journal that we have! The one that used to belong to the Protectors of Cyberspace." Donita said frustratedly.

"Oh yeah! That's right!" Buzz exclaimed.

"I'll get it!" Delete proclaimed.

"No, I got it!" Buzz shouted as he and Delete ran to grab the book, which was now sitting on Max's control pad.

As soon as Delete got ahold of the journal, Buzz jumped up and grabbed it towards him, which made Delete retaliate and grab the other end of the journal and pull it towards him. The two repeatedly tried to grab ahold of the book, but neither of them budged. At one point, Ledge, as well as several of the other villains, tried to grab the book from them, all while yelling at either of them to let go, but the two were quick, and they would change positions and maneuver around past them.

Eventually, Delete was able to grab the book and pull it in his direction, but he lost his grip, and the book flew into the wall behind him. As it hit the wall, it knocked the amulet out of the gap in the book's cover. Fortunately, it didn't break or seem to get scratched.

"Look what you Duncebuckets have done!" Hacker yelled before scolding the two.

"Gee, we're sorry, Boss!" Buzz apologized.

"Yeah, we didn't mean to break it!" Delete said sadly.

"I don't think you broke it." Dr. Two-Brains replied, much to their confusion.

"What do you mean they didn't break it?" Hacker hollered. "LOOK WHAT THEY DID!"

"Yeah, but it seems like that was supposed to happen!"

"What are you talking about?" Tobey asked.

Dr. Two-Brains bent down to pick up the book and the amulet and proceeded to study them. "If you look, it seems to perfectly fit inside!" He observed as he repeatedly placed the amulet back in and out of the book's cover.

"Way to go, Captain Obvious! What are you going to tell us next? That the sky is blue?" Victoria Best remarked.

"Hey! That's not entirely true! Sometimes, when it rains, the sky becomes gray. But it can also become black during the night and a purplish-orangish-reddish color when the sun rises and sets!" Dabio corrected.

"Thanks, Dabio, for sharing such VERY informative and important information!" Chuck replied sarcastically.

Choosing to ignore their bickering, Dr. Two-Brains went over and grabbed the power stone from Hacker and placed it in one of the spots in the amulet. After doing so, the crystal proceeded to glow with a bright red flare of light, causing them to look away. Max's screen changed, which displayed a pair of black sunglasses over his eyes before he turned away from the light.

The amulet, along with the book that belonged to the Protectors of Cyberspace, began to levitate towards the ceiling and place itself back into the book's cover. Once the amulet was back where it was supposed to be, with one of the crystals in it, the book was lowered on the table and opened to a particular page.

After recovering from the unusual moment, Hacker shook his head before glancing at the page that was empty before but now displayed a few lines of text. After reading the text carefully, Hacker, along with the other villains, began to laugh and smile evilly as they discovered where they had to go to find the next crystal.
