At a small bar located in the middle of town, commonly known as The Drunken Clam, Peter and his friends were sitting at their usual booth, carefully watching as Martin and Chris Kratt went to try their first sip of beer. The two were hesitant, but Peter and them kept being encouraging. They eventually caved in, carefully lifted their mugs to their lips, and went to take a sip. To them, it tasted sour and bitter. They also felt a stinging sensation on their tongues.
"Mmmmmmm! Delicious!" Martin replied sheepishly, Not wanting to tell them how he really felt.
"Yeah, it's good!" Chris nodded, feeling the same way.
"So, Peter said something about how you and those kids have to save the multiverse or something, what was he talking about?" Quagmire asked.
"Here, how about we just tell them about it?" Chris Kratt said. The two began to take turns telling the other guys about what happened to them back in their world for the third time so far. Even though Peter and Brian had heard it before, they sat quietly and listened carefully as they told the story. They became completely shocked, but not as much as the other guys.
"Oh no! That's terrible!" Cleveland cried.
"Yeah, we're so sorry for you guys! If there's anything we can do to help, let us know!" Joe Swanson said sympathetically.
"Thanks, guys; that's really appreciated, but you don't have to get involved and risk yourselves. This is something we should worry about on our own." Chris replied, refusing their offer.
"Yeah, but we want to help!" Quagmire exclaimed.
"Besides, since Hacker already has one of those crystal thingies as well as access to the multiverse, if we don't stop him and the other villains, they'll become a huge threat that not even Kyle Berryson can handle."
"Who the hell's Kyle Berryson?" Brian asked confusedly.
"Not to mention, like you said, they'll become more powerful as they find more of those crystals!" Cleveland said worriedly. "Wait, hang on, why does this sound so familiar?"
"Yeah, but we're not sure if there's anything we can do!" Martin said doubtfully.
"Aren't you guys the Wild Kratts? You've been on all kinds of adventures and dealt with villains hundreds of times! Are you sure there's anything you can still do?" Peter asked.
"Like we said, we're not sure at the moment. But if you're thinking that we're going to give up? There's no way!" Martin exclaimed.
"Yeah, we're not just going to stand around and let the villains take over the multiverse! Not even Earth nor Cyberspace!" Chris declared. "But, right now, we're not sure what to do. We're currently stranded in Quahog."
"Yeah, if we want to stop them, we'll have to find a way out of your world and get to the other crystals before they do, and fast!" Martin proclaimed.
"If only we had a portal of some sort!" Chris Kratt pondered, taking another sip of beer only to be met with the same taste as before.
...
Back at the Griffin's house, Stewie had taken the Cybersquad upstairs to his room, where he revealed to them his massive war room full of gadgets, robots, and weapons of mass destruction hidden behind his closet, much to their complete shock and disbelief.
"Does your family even know about this?" Matt asked. Ignoring him, Stewie went in and began digging around and searching for the multiverse remote he and Brian had used many times before. Eventually he found it, but it was in even worse condition than he had thought.
Stewie had then ordered the Cybersquad to search around the house and yard for scrap pieces he could use to rebuild the remote. After instructing them on what they needed to find, they began searching all over the house for said objects. It didn't take long for them to find all the parts they needed. Although they found some of the objects he requested rather unusual, They went back to his room and brought all the parts to him so he could start fixing the remote.
"Hey Stewie, I got the brakes off Brian's car like you wanted, though I got to ask, how's this, along with all this other stuff, going to help fix the multiverse remote?" Digit asked.
"Well, to be honest, I don't really need the brakes to fix the remote. Right now I'm mad at Brian for something he did, so the next time he goes for a drive, I figured that I would leave a surprise for him!" Stewie explained, trying to contain his sinister laughter. "Now, as for all this other stuff, all these parts are crucial if we want the remote to work properly."
As he began to start working on fixing the remote, Lois came into the room while carrying a tray of snacks and lemonade. Stewie's closet was left open, revealing all his stuff. But she seemed not to notice or care.
"Hey kids, I figured that I should come up and check on all of you. Here, I have some snacks for you." She said as she handed them each a glass.
"That's nice, but not right now; can't you see I'm busy trying to repair my multiverse remote so that they can get back to Cyberspace and defeat the villains?" Don't you know that the fate of the multiverse is at stake?" Stewie angrily replied, not even turning to face her, and continued to work on the remote.
"That sounds like fun, you kids have fun now, okay?" She smiled before leaving the room.
WordGirl turned to Stewie with great concern on her face. "Does she even see what you're doing? I mean, you have all this stuff and..."
"I wouldn't worry about her too much, she's even denser than water!" Stewie scoffed.
...
The Cybersquad were seated in the living room and watched TV to take their minds off of things while they waited for Stewie to finish fixing the remote. They keep changing from channel to channel, as there wasn't much good on TV. Shortly then, Peter and the guys had come back from the Drunken Clam.
"So, how are things?" Peter quietly asked.
"Alright I guess," Matt quietly replied.
"So...," Quagmire said awkwardly. He tried to think of something to say to help them, but he couldn't think of anything. Neither of them could.
"So uhhh, whatcha doing? Are you watching TV? That's nice!" Peter awkwardly replied.
"By any chance, do you have any ideas on how we could get back to Cyberspace?" Digit asked. They all looked back and forth at each other quietly exchanging glances. "I didn't think so."
"What about you guys? Have you got any ideas?" Martin asked.
"Well, Stewie said that he's working on fixing a multiverse remote so that we can get back to our world!" Inez explained.
"A multiverse remote?" Chris Kratt asked in confusion.
"No way! Stewie's only five years old, or is he six?" Peter scratched his head and pondered to himself.
"Well, we're going to head home; see you guys later!" Cleveland said.
"Yeah, and good luck! I hope you guys eventually do get back to your world and stop those villains!" Joe exclaimed as he and Quagmire prepared to leave.
"Alright, see you guys later then!" Peter waved to them as they left. After the door closed, Peter headed into the kitchen and left them be.
"So, is Stewie really working on a remote that will get us back to our world?" Martin asked.
"He sure is! He said he should be done soon, but it's going to take awhile!" Matt explained.
"Great, the sooner he finishes that remote, the sooner we can stop Hacker and save the multiverse, as well as Earth too!" Martin cheered.
"Don't forget about Cyberspace too! Not only that, but we'll have to save Dr. Marbles and fix Motherboard!" Digit addressed.
"Wait, are we sure it's a good idea to get back to our world right now? I mean, don't you guys remember what happened earlier? If we were to go back now, they'll probably catch us and throw us into another portal!" WordGirl acknowledged. "And since they have plenty of Lexonite to use to cancel out my powers, I'm completely powerless!"
"Not to mention that we're completely outnumbered!" Digit cried.
"She does have a point! Even if we do get back to our world, how are we going to stop them?" Jackie asked.
"Well, we have to do something! We can't just do nothing! Besides, we'll have to get back to Earth and face off against them sooner or later!" Matt declared.
"Face it, we're hopeless!" Digit whimpered.
"I wouldn't give up so soon; after all, you still have each other, and with this, you can save the day!" Stewie's voice erupted behind them. Standing by the stairs, he walked over to them and presented them with the now completely fixed remote. They all cheered as he handed them the remote.
"Woah! Stewie, you actually did it!" Inez exclaimed. "Thanks so much!"
"I know, I know!" Stewie said while trying to calm down their cheering. "Alright, now that the remote works, let's go kick that Hacker's..."
"Alright, Stewie, it's time for you to go to bed, it's past your bedtime!" Peter said as he scooped him up and held him in his arms.
"Not now, you Unbearingly Overweight Beast of Burden!" Stewie snarled as he tried to wiggle his way out of his clutches.
"Don't worry, Stewie, you can play with these guys tomorrow. They need their sleep; it's been a really long day for them!" Peter explained as he carefully took the remote from Stewie's hands. "Hey, what does this button do anyway?" He asked curiously.
"No! Fat Man! Don't press that button!" Stewie shouted.
But before he or any of the Cybersquad could do anything to stop him, Peter pressed the button that was in the center of the remote. The next thing they knew, they were all zapped by a powerful beam of light. After the flash was gone and their eyes adjusted, they noticed that they appeared to no longer be in the Griffin's house but instead in a whole other dimension.
They were standing in the middle of some sort of village, with many of the residents walking past them without noticing them. But something about them seemed off. And if you were to take a look at WordGirl's face, she'd look like she just died and went to heaven.
