By the time the sun had completely set over Sweet Apple Acres, The Cybersquad had just finished retelling the Mane 6 about their current journey. After carefully listening to their story, The Mane 6 felt bad for them and each offered them their sympathy. They also agreed to help them on their quest to find the second crystal, as well as the other three crystals. But neither of them nor the Cybersquad knew what to do. Without Max or the journal, they had no idea where to start.
They also started to worry that since Hacker and the villains already had the journal, they could easily find the second one. They feared that by now, they could've already had the second crystal and could already be on the search for the third one. Matt tried to reassure them that it was probably unlikely, but it didn't seem to work.
"Hang on everyone, I don't think we should start panicking just yet; I highly doubt that they already found the second crystal."
"But what if they already did? They have the journal! It can probably tell them where it is!" Digit panicked.
"Well, I'm not quite sure. While it could be a possibility, it could also be unlikely, like Matt said." Twilight Sparkle replied.
"Alright, Well, even if they haven't already gotten the second crystal, how exactly are WE going to find it?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"She's right! For God's sake, we have no idea where to even start! It could be located anywhere!" Peter nodded.
"Who knows, it could even be located HERE in Equestria, maybe even in the Everfree Forest!" Pinkie Pie oddly exclaimed.
"Wait, didn't you say that you found the first crystal inside a cave?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yeah, we found it inside a cave in Calamore, why?" Digit asked.
"Wait a second, darling, are you saying that the second crystal, as well as the other crystals, are going to be located inside a cave?" Rarity asked.
Rainbow Dash shrugged, "I don't know, maybe."
"I wouldn't be so sure about it; I mean, it sounds kind of odd that all the crystals would be found in some kind of cave." Chris Kratt replied.
"Well, it doesn't sound too far-fetched to me," Spike replied. "After all, crystals are found underground."
"Uck! My brain hurts; it seems like we're going nowhere!" WordGirl shouted frustratedly while rubbing her templates.
"Well, it's starting to get late, reck'n we should hit the hay and figure it out in the morn'n." Apple Jack said, with the others reluctantly agreeing.

The next morning, Pinkie Pie invited them for breakfast at Sugarcube Corners, which they happily accepted. While the rest of the Cybersquad were enjoying their blueberry and apple pancakes, WordGirl sat quietly in a daze, not touching a single bit of her plate.
"Hey WordGirl?" She snapped out of her trance when she heard a sudden voice call her name. She turned to see Pinkie, along with the rest of the Cybersquad, looking at her concernedly.
"Huh?"
"I said, 'Hey WordGirl!' Is everything okie dokie in there?" Pinkie Pie asked worriedly.
"Huh? Oh yeah... I'm fine; I just didn't sleep well last night." She shrugged.
"Now that you mention it, I did have trouble falling asleep last night." Martin admitted.
"I guess we're just not used to sleeping on hay." Jackie replied.
WordGirl began to rub her templates as she suddenly felt her head hurt again. "Ugh! My head!" She groaned.
"Are you sure you're okay, WordGirl?" Ms. Cake asked.
"Oh yeah, don't worry about me! I'll be fine!" She replied.
Suddenly, Apple Jack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash burst into the cafe, each seeming to have something urgent to say. "Guys! Come quick! You have to check this out!" Rainbow Dash shouted worriedly.
"Huh? Check what out?" Martin asked, swallowing another bite of pancake.
"We don't know!" Fluttershy replied. "But there's these weird creatures that are heading towards the Everfree Forest."
"Not only that, but there's some flying all over town and kidnapping everypony they see!" Apple Jack added.
"What! That's awful!" Inez cried.
"What do these creatures look like?" Matt asked.
Suddenly, a Zachbot burst through the front door, causing the other ponies to scream and try to run out through the door, but they were soon captured by one of Donita's Mannequins that arrived shortly afterwards. The Cybersquad and three ponies jumped as Rainbow Dash flew over the robots and bucked them out towards the street. With one smashing through the window, completely shattering the glass.
"Zachbots!" Chris Kratt exclaimed.
"Oh no! That means that Zach and Hacker are here!" Digit proclaimed.
"And they're probably here with the rest of the villains!" Martin replied.
"But why? Why exactly are they here?" Peter asked.
"Isn't it obvious, Fat Man?" Stewie angrily replied.
"What? That The Second Crystal is located somewhere deep in the Everfree Forest? And now they're trying to find it first while also attempting to take over Ponyville?" Pinkie asked.
"We have to tell the others!" Digit exclaimed. "And fast!"
"I'll try to find them!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "Meet us at the library in the middle of Ponyville!" She said, before taking off.

As they ran out towards the street, they watched in horror as the sky was filled up with Zachbots, Mannequins, giant robots, and all kinds of other contraptions. They jumped when they suddenly heard Wicked's terrible shrieking of a laugh. She flew over above them, where they all got a good look at her.
"Come on! This a'way!" Apple Jack called out, motioning the others to follow her.
Shortly after, they were led inside a large treehouse of some sort. After a few moments, Rainbow Dash and the rest of the Mane 6 burst into the room, all equally mortified as they were.
"Woah! I can't believe this is all happening!" Spike gasped.
"Why is this happening?" Rarity asked worriedly.
"We think that it's possible that The Second Crystal is located somewhere in the Everfree Forest, and Hacker's looking for it while also attacking Ponyville!" Martin explained.
"Not just Ponyville, but they seem to be attacking all of Equestria!" Spike said.
"I've been trying to reach Princess Celestria, but neither she nor Princess Luna or Candace are responding!" Twilight said worriedly.
"How were they able to create all these robots? It would've taken weeks for them to make this much!" Martin said out loud.
"Well, when Apple Jack and I were watching them go into the Everfree Forest, I noticed that they were going in the direction of where The Mirror Pond is." Fluttershy quietly said.
"Mirror Pond?" Stewie asked, confused.
"No way! I thought we closed off the entrance to The Mirror Pond!" Pinkie Pie said in disbelief.
Suddenly, they all looked up towards the ceiling as it suddenly started to violently shake. Then to their horror, they watched as one of Tobey's robots lifted the ceiling with its gigantic metal hands. Normally, WordGirl would've flown up and smashed it using her mighty strength, but she still felt very weak.
Without hesitation, they bolted outside and ran away from the building. Not before the robot managed to grab some of Twilight's friends, herself included. Rainbow Dash flew towards the robot and tried bucking at it, while Rarity tried using her magic.
Pinkie, meanwhile, pulled her Party Cannon out of nowhere and started blasting the giant robot, as well as the Zachbots and Mannequins that were starting to surround them. It didn't take long for a gang of Zachbots to break Pinkie's party cannon, while a Mannequin captured her. But she was magnificently able to get herself free.
As for Twilight and the rest of the Mane 6, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Apple Jack watched in horror as the rest of their friends were captured by the giant robot. After they recovered from shock and guilt, they continued running towards the Everfree Forest, where they assumed The Second Crystal was located.
"Wow, I can't believe how much stuff has happened in such a short time span!" Pinkie remarked, "I get that The Author's trying to move the plot forward, but SERIOUSLY?!" The others turned their heads and looked at her in confusion.
"What the Hell is she talking about?" Peter asked.
"Don't worry about it; just keep running!" Matt shouted as they ran deeper into the Everfree Forest while still being chased.
