"So, Yer saying that this Hacker fellow is going 'round many dimensions searching for these crystals that have the ability to control the multiverse?" Engineer asked, once the Cybersquad had finished informing the team about their current situation.
"Yes, but it's not just that, they're also attacking and kidnapping anyone that gets in their way." Chris Kratt explained.
"And that remote, you've been using that to get to other worlds to find the crystals before Hacker does?" Scout asked.
"Yes, but now we can't because you smashed it with your bat!" Stewie remarked. "And while Hacker is getting closer to finding the third crystal, we're trapped here like sitting ducks!" Stewie replied upsettingly.
"I'm really sorry about that... I-I didn't know." Scout repeatedly apologized.
"It's fine!" Stewie hissed, still visibly upset. "It's fine!" He took a deep breath and calmed down.
Spy took the cigarette out of his mouth as he stood up away from the table. "So that means there's a possibility that they might be coming here, searching for the crystals!"
"We need to prepare immediately!" Soldier declared. "Who knows when they'll be here!"
"Wait, so are you guys really going to help us?" Digit asked.
"Just by the looks of things, you'll definitely need our help!" Medic replied.
"Are you kidding? Of course! I mean, you guys have weapons and stuff! With these, we'll be unstoppable!" Peter happily exclaimed.
"We really could use your help. I mean, the more help, the better. Right?" Matt said.
Yeah, you guys could be really useful." Inez thought.
"Yeah, but I'm not really comfortable with using guns and weapons." WordGirl replied. "I'm not really a fan of the idea of hurting someone, or killing for that matter!"
"Yeah, we're not big fans of killing either!" Chris slowly replied.
"Well, that's going to change!" Soldier shouted. "As Sun Tzu once said, "If fighting is going to lead to victory, then you MUST fight!" End quote!"
"Yeah, and come on! Have you guys seen what they've been doing? I say we should teach them a lesson!" Peter argued.
"Yeah, but isn't there a way to approach this more? I don't know, passively?" Inez nervously replied.
"I'm afraid it might be too late for that. I mean, have y'all seen what they've done with our friends?" Apple Jack interrupted. "But still, I see where y'all coming from."
"Well, I won't say we'll be using them to kill them." Medic paused, scratching his head, trying to figure out what to say.
"Are you kidding? Of course we SHOULD!" Soldier shoved him. "This is no longer just some silly fight against some bank-robbing villains; this is WAR now!"
"War?" Fluttershy gasped unsettlingly.
"That's right!" Soldier continued. "Those villains are going around doing horrendous and unspeakable acts against those who they deem inferior. They are taking away the freedom, dignity, and rights of those individuals who have done nothing wrong. It's injustice, it's morally wrong, it's UNCONSTITUTIONAL! "It will not stand!"
"What? Were you expecting to solve this peacefully with tea and cookies?" Scout asked in disbelief. The Cybersquad quickly glanced at each, and then awkwardly turned their attention back to them.
"You know, I find it a miracle that you mate's managed to last this long!" Sniper stared blankly at them.
"Yes, you are all pathetic and foolish!" Spy nodded with the rest of the Red team agreeing.
"To be fair, we don't really have a plan on what we would do once we stopped Hacker; we've just been focusing on finding the other crystals first." Inez admitted. "But we're not going to hurt them, that's for sure!"
"Even if he deserves it." Digit quietly replied.
"Well, if there's one thing, it's clear that we've got a lot of work to do!" Spy sighed.
"Indeed we do!" Soldier nodded. "Come on!" He and the rest of the team then got up from their seats and made their way towards the door.
"Uhh, where are you guys going?" Martin asked confusedly.
"To the field! It's time for your training!" Soldier replied, motioning for them to follow.
"Training?" Digit asked nervously, as he and the others got up from their seats and followed them, unsure what he meant.
….
As they arrived at the field, the Red team had set up a series of obstacles for the Cybersquad to navigate through. "Alright maggots, listen up!" Soldier shouted as they approached the starting line. "If you want to survive out there, you'll need to be quick on your feet and sharp with your mind!"
"Uh, what kind of training is this?" Matt asked, looking at the obstacle course in confusion.
"This is basic combat training!" Soldier replied. "You'll need to be able to move quickly and effectively if you're going to have any chance of taking down Hacker and his goons!"
The Cybersquad looked at each other nervously, unsure of what to do. But with the encouragement of the Red team, they started to make their way through the course. As they ran and jumped over the various obstacles, the Red Team shouted out instructions and tips on how to improve their technique.
"Keep your head down!" Heavy yelled, as Digit crawled under a low-hanging obstacle.
"Use your surroundings to your advantage!" Spy advised, as Inez used a nearby tree to swing over a gap in the course.
After several grueling minutes, the Cybersquad finally made it to the end of the course, panting and sweating from the exertion. "Good job, maggots!" Soldier exclaimed. "But you've still got a long way to go if you want to take down Hacker!"
The Cybersquad looked at each other, wondering if they were up for the challenge. But with the support of the Red Team, they knew that they had to at least try. "We won't let you down!" Chris Kratt declared, as they made their way to the next course.
As they walked, the Cybersquad discussed their plan of action. "We need to find a way to stop Hacker without resorting to violence," WordGirl said firmly.
"We'll just have to use our wits and our knowledge," Inez replied. "We know more about the crystals then Hacker does, so we can use that to our advantage."
"But don't you remember? He's got the journal." Matt reminded her.
"And besides, even if we do get the two remaining crystals first, Hacker already has the first two!" Digit said.
"Well, we can't just sit back and let Hacker take over the multiverse. We have to at least think of something." Inez declared.
The rest of the Cybersquad nodded in agreement, determined to find a way to stop Hacker and the rest of the villains. With the Red Team by their side, they knew that they had a fighting chance. But it was going to take all of their skills and knowledge to come out on top. Especially as the villains continue to become more powerful.
The Cybersquad followed the Red Team to the next obstacle, where they had to tie and lift a training dummy to a post using a rope. The Red Team watched as they struggled to tie the knot, getting frustrated with their lack of progress.
Pinkie Pie stepped up to the dummy and gave it a cheerful greeting, much to the dismay of the Red Team.
"What in bloody Hell is she doing?" Sniper muttered, watching Pinkie with confusion.
"Heavy have no clue." Heavy replied as he scratched his head in confusion.
Pinkie Pie continued to talk to the dummy, giggling and making silly faces at it. The rest of the Cybersquad looked on in confusion, unsure of what to make of Pinkie's antics.
"What is she doing? This is training, not playtime!" Soldier growled in frustration.
"I think she's just trying to lighten the mood." Inez explained, trying her best to defend Pinkie.
"Well, we don't need the mood lightened. We need to focus!" Soldier snapped, pointing to the task at hand.
Pinkie Pie finally finished her conversation with the dummy and stepped back, letting the Cybersquad finish the task. They managed to tie the knot successfully and move on to the next obstacle.
As they continued through the course, Pinkie Pie continued to offer words of encouragement and silliness, much to the dismay of the Red Team. However, the Cybersquad seemed to be enjoying her lightheartedness, as it helped them stay focused and motivated as they moved from one obstacle to the next.
By the time the sun had completely set, the Cybersquad and friends had managed to successfully complete the obstacle courses. They were met with cheers and congratulations from the Red Team, who seemed impressed with their determination and hard work.
"Good job, Cybersquad. You've got potential." Soldier said gruffly, before turning to leave.
The Cybersquad watched as the Red Team walked away, feeling a sense of respect and awe for their training methods. They knew that they had a lot to learn, but they were determined to become stronger and better prepared for whatever challenges lay ahead.
