"And…. There! Good as new!" Engineer happily exclaimed as he finished rebuilding the remote, before handing it back to Stewie. "I've also installed a new navigational feature that'll help y'all get to yer next destination. All you have to do is type where y'all want to go on that screen there and press the button."

"Fantastic!" Stewie remarked as he held the device in awe.

"Are you mates sure you're ready to leave?" Sniper asked hesitantly.

"Yeah, I've still got a lot to teach you! And you could really work on your combat skills!" Soldier responded.

"We don't have time!" Matt cried. "Hacker could be close to getting the crystal by now!"

"Or worse, what if he already has it and is going after the last one? Or what if he already HAS the last crystal?" Digit shouted as he began to panic.

"Didge! Calm down! I hardly think he's gone that far." Jackie said. "Just take a deep breath, everything will be okay!"

Digit followed her instructions, and took a bunch of slow deep breaths, which did make him feel a bit relaxed. "Right, thanks!"

"No problem!" She happily exclaimed.

"Alright, enough chit-chat! We better get going!" Stewie announced.

"And we're coming too!" Soldier proclaimed.

"Wait, really?" Inez inquired. "You guys would really come with us?"

"Yes, and by the looks of it, you could use our help!" Spy said.

"Yeah! Besides, we're more experienced in combat! We could really come in handy!" Scout informed.

"Yeah! That'll be AWESOME!" Matt exclaimed.

"Wait, I thought we agreed to solve this peacefully and not hurt Hacker or the villains!" Fluttershy differed quietly.

"Yeah, we did agree on that!" Chris nodded.

"Really? After everything they have done to your worlds and friends, don't you want revenge?" Heavy paused.

"Well, it's not that, it's..."

"If that ever happened to Heavy, Heavy would crush their skull and turn them to sandvich!" Heavy replied furiously.

"Relax, We don't kill people unless we absolutely have to!" Engineer said, trying to relieve the Cybersquad's tensions.

"Are you freaking kidding me? Of COURSE we do! In fact, just last week, this psychopath set some guy on fire, just for looking at him." Scout pointed to Pyro, who stood behind them quietly.

"Look! If you want to try and solve this situation with harmony or whatever, that's fine. But one way or another, Hacker's going down!" Soldier declared.

"Look! We can discuss this later? Right now we need to move!" Stewie urgently replied.

"Right! Let's move some tail!" Soldier asserted.

"Wait! Do we even know where we're going?" Medic asked nervously.

"Yeah! We're supposed to go to the Farlands, and look for a fortress long forgotten." Inez explained. "That's where we should find the third crystal!"

"Wow. That's very helpful!" Sniper sarcastically responded.

"Hey, wait a minute! You said a fortress long forgotten?" Scout asked, as it felt like it was something he was familiar with.

"What are you going on about?" Medic asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"Don't you guys remember? There's an old fortress not that far from here that's been abandoned for some time now. Could you be referring to that?" Scout questioned.

"What are you talking about, lad? There are hundreds of abandoned fortresses around here! It could be any one of those!" Demoman cried out.

"And they're not really that far away!" Heavy replied.

"Well, it could be a possibility!" Stewie said.

"I doubt it! We've been there countless times before, and we haven't found any crystals!" Spy firmly said.

"Yeah, but who knows? What if there really is something there?" Matt asked.

"Hmmm, maybe..." WordGirl thought.

"But Matt, we don't have much time!" Inez reminded him. "Hacker could already have the crystal by now!"

"But what if he doesn't?" Matt paused, "What if the crystal IS here? He doesn't know we're here. That means we could grab it before he does!"

"Well, I suppose it won't hurt to look a bit," Apple Jack replied.

Spy scowled at him for a moment, before finally speaking. "Fine, I suppose we could have a look!" He said coldly. "But remember, boy, time is ticking, and this is going to cost us!"

….

A few moments later, they arrived at the fortress in question. Despite what they said about it being abandoned and forgotten, for the most part, the fortress seemed to be in decent condition.

"Okay! We're here!" Spy proclaimed. "Now, where should we start?"

"Well, when we found the other two crystals, we were put in places that appeared to be hidden underground," Inez explained.

"Well then, Everyone, spread out!" Soldier ordered.

"So, are we looking for some sort of passageway that leads underground or something?" Scout asked.

"I don't think I've seen anything like that around here before," Sniper quietly said. "And we come here a lot!"

"How come?" Pinkie Pie asked innocently.

"You see, this place used to belong to our enemies, The Blu Team, but we managed to defeat them and take over their base!" Sniper explained.

"Really?" Digit asked, feeling a mixture of shock and interest.

"Yeah, we usually come here to duke it out with each other!" Engineer continued.

"Duke? You mean you guys are royalty or something?" Peter asked.

"Actually, Duke also means to fight!" WordGirl explained.

"Yeah! Like how sometimes we get on each other's nerves, and we come here to fight each other!" Scout explained.

"Kind of what we're doing?" Peter asked. "You know, how we're going to fight Hacker."

"Sort of.…" WordGirl paused. "You see…."

"What in Bloody Hell's going on over there?" They overheard Demoman shout while pointing to a particular place in the sky. The group turned to look where he was pointing, and that's when they saw a vortex appear in the sky.

Out of the vortex, several giant robots jump out of the portal, followed by some smaller ones too. Standing on the shoulders of one of the robots were two figures. Upon closer inspection, they gasped as they realized who they were.

"Tobey? Mr. Big?" WordGirl shouted in surprise.

"WORDGIRL?! CYBERSQUAD?!" Tobey McCallister gasped.

"What are YOU doing here?" Mr. Big shouted.

"Never mind them! Robits, ATTACK!"

Following their orders, the robots began marching over to the Cybersquad. The next thing they knew, they found themselves in the middle of a battle. But the group split up, and while one group went to deal with the robots, the others ran to try and look for the crystal.

The Red Team lifted their weapons and began firing at the robots. While they manage to destroy most of the Zachbots, they find difficulty stopping Tobey's robots. But they weren't the only ones. Normally, WordGirl could've easily beaten them by now, but they proved to be tougher and stronger than before, as she could barely make a dent in the robot's frame. Eventually, though, she managed to defeat one of the robots, but it took so much out of her.

She turned to where Mr. Big was, and that's when she noticed that he was holding some sort of ray gun. She then realized what was happening, Mr. Big was using Lexonite to decrease her strength. Although, it wasn't as intense as it was earlier. But that's when she saw him turn some sort of dial on the device, making the Lexonite in the ray gun's energy more intense, and she could feel herself becoming more weak. All the while she could faintly hear his wicked laughter.

Meanwhile, The Cybersquad ran inside one of the old buildings so they could catch their breaths and process what was happening.

"You know, I understand that The Author is trying to make this story more exciting, but COME ON! This kinda feels a little unnecessary!" Pinkie replied.

"Why is this happening?" Matt asked.

"Isn't it obvious, they're after the crystal as well!" Stewie angrily said.

"But how did they figure out that we were here?" Peter asked.

Just then, the roof of the building was suddenly violently ripped off its frames by one of Tobey's robots. Before the robot could grab them, they quickly ran over to the entrance. While The Cybersquad and Kratt brothers managed to escape, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Apple Jack weren't quick enough, and found themselves caught in the robots' giant grasps.

"Oh no!" Chris shouted. Suddenly, the two brothers found themselves being pulled by the arms into a small shack. The Cybersquad jumped in the opposite direction as a giant medal foot landed where they had been standing seconds ago.

"Here! Take these!" Soldier loudly said as he handed them each a small handgun.

"Do you really expect us to stop Tobey's robots with these?" Martin asked. "Besides, we're not really comfortable using these!"

"Well then, if you two are so brilliant, why don't YOU come up with something!' They then ran outside as another one of the robot's legs came down and crushed the shack they were in.

"Woahh!!!!" The Cybersquad gasped as they heard Digit's voice scream in terror. Moments later, he crashed into the ground a few feet next to them. They quickly ran over to help him up.

"Digit! Are you okay?" Inez worriedly asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, Earthlies!" Digit reassured them. That's when he noticed that the propeller on his rear feathers was bent. "Uh oh!"

"Digit! Your propellers!" Jackie pointed fearfully.

"Great! Now I can't fly!" Digit sadly replied. "What else could go wrong?"

"I think I know how!" Inez pointed.

The Cybersquad watched as the Red Team was captured one by one by the robots. While they managed to destroy a handful of Zachbots, many of their torn bodies and circuits were lying around. Tobey's giant robots proved to be superior, as their weapons didn't seem to scratch them one bit.

"Oh no!" Inez gasped. "This is not good! This is NOT good at all!"

"Come on!" They suddenly found themselves being pulled by Peter and the Kratt brothers. With WordGirl being carried by Chris, they ran inside to one of the larger, multileveled buildings. After they ran inside, they barricaded the front doors with whatever they could find, even though they knew it wouldn't stop Tobey's robots.

"Come on, we have to get out of here!" Stewie worriedly replied as he began to yet again fumble with the controls on the remote.

"But what about the others?" Matt cried, pointing backwards to their now captured friends.

"Forget about them! We need to leave while we still have the chance!" Stewie yelled as one of Tobey's robots ripped off the roof. The Cybersquad was surrounded by a bright flash of light as Stewie pressed the button on the remote. Seconds later, they were completely gone.

"Drats! They've escaped AGAIN!" Tobey pouted.

"Yeah, but they're the least of our worries. Besides, at least we've got what we came for!" Mr. Big smiled evilly as he turned the other way to look at a large cage below, containing the Red Team, and the remaining three ponies.
