The Cybersquad found themselves confined within the cold, metallic bars of the cage, their expressions reflecting a mix of worry and despair. Matt's unwavering focus remained fixed on the clock, its relentless backward ticking a haunting reminder of their dire circumstances. The weight of impending danger pressed heavily on his shoulders, threatening to suffocate their hopes.

Amidst the gloom, Matt's determination ignited, a steadfast flame within him that refused to be extinguished. He understood the weight of his responsibility as their leader, and he couldn't allow his friends' spirits to be crushed. As their discussion grew more intense, a glimmer of an idea took shape in his mind.

"Listen up, guys. I get it, things look bad. But we've faced tough challenges before, and we've come out on top. We'll find a way, just like we always have!" Matt proclaimed with conviction.

Jackie's expression was a mixture of concern and doubt as she sighed. "Matt, it's not just that. This time feels different. Hacker isn't playing by any rules, and the clock is against us."

"And he's got all the crystals now, plus the backing of other villains. We're outnumbered and outmatched," Digit added, his voice tinged with resignation.

"Guys, it's not about numbers. It's about our determination and the fight for what's right!" He declared.

Despite Matt's impassioned speech, a cloud of despondency hung in the air. Their voices rose, expressing their worries and fears, painting a vivid picture of the seemingly insurmountable challenge before them.

"It's more than underestimation, Matt. This time, Hacker's power feels overwhelming, and it's like we're powerless to stop him!" Jackie said, her voice heavy.

Let's face it! Hacker's already beaten us! And there's nothing we can do! We've lost!" Digit replied, his tone filled with a sense of defeat.

As the conversation's weight grew, mechanical chuckles pierced the air, drawing everyone's attention to Buzz and Delete. Their malicious smirks cast an eerie aura over the scene.

"Oh, how the mighty have fallen! Who would've thought?" Buzz chuckled.

"Yeah!" Delete nodded, snickering alongside him.

"You know, I don't know why you two are here! After all, Hacker does have a reputation of casting you two to the side!" Matt irritatedly retorted.

"What are you implying?" Buzz narrowed an eyebrow, fixing him with a glare. "Are you suggesting that Hacker is planning to betray us?"

"I'm just reminding you that Hacker's loyalty is fickle. With his newfound power, he might not need you anymore," Matt replied sharply.

"The Boss wouldn't do that, would he?" Delete turned to Buzz, seeking reassurance.

"Well, he has had a way of belittling us in the past." Buzz replied.

"Yeah! How many times in the past has he called us Duncebuckets? Or gotten mad at us for the smallest things?" Delete pondered.

"That is true!" Buzz then turned his attention back over to Matt. "But that's not the same as outright betrayal!" He shouted angrily.

"Who asked you anyways?" He grumbled, before he and Delete pivoted and ascended the stairs toward the entrance. With a forceful push, he slammed the door shut, leaving the Cybersquad standing there, now completely isolated and alone.

"Why'd I even bother?" Matt irritatedly pondered to himself.

"What was all that about? Were you trying to persuade Buzz and Delete to come over to our side?" Digit inquired.

Matt leaned against the wall, his frustration evident as he sighed. "I was just trying to make them aware of the possibilities."

"I get that, but you can't just drop something like that on them without expecting a reaction. Buzz and Delete have a history with Hacker, and trust isn't something they give out easily." Digit explained.

Matt rubbed the back of his neck, his expression thoughtful. "I know, I know. It's just…" He sighed. "Come on guys! We can't give up! We just CAN'T!" Matt declared with unwavering determination.

"Even if we didn't, how'd you expect us to get out of here?" Inez asked skeptically.

I don't know, but we gotta!" Matt sighed.."We really need to figure a way out of here!"

….

"AND GET IN THERE!" Gourmand's booming voice echoed as Nocan the Contrarian forcefully hurled Cleveland and his companions into the cell, the glass door sliding with a heavy thud, followed by a resounding click as one of Gourmand's meaty fingers pressed a button on the keypad to lock it shut. Lois, Dr. Marbles, Meg, and Chris hurried to assist the three men.

"So, how were the mines?" Chris Griffin inquired with curiosity.

"Same as always, dreadful!" Joe replied as he was gently settled onto the bed.

"Did you by any chance see any ways out?" Brian asked.

"Nope. This place is massive, and every entrance was heavily guarded," Quagmire explained.

"It's not like you would've gotten very far anyways," Gourmand retorted with a faint chuckle.

"Not gotten far? NO! THEY'VE WOULD'VE GOTTEN AWAY!!! NOCAN!!!!" Nocan shouted furiously, smashing his fist down in anger.

Gourmand let out a frustrated groan, facepalming. "Why did I have to be stuck on guard duty with you? It's like I'm dealing with a toddler!" He muttered.

Nocan shot him an irritated glare. "At least I don't eat my weight in snacks every day." He retorted, causing them to start arguing.

King Friday carefully observed their argument with keen interest. "I dare say, what be the reason behind his demeanor?" He whispered with a regal curiosity.

"Based on my observations, it seems that Nocan's reactions tend to be contrary to the statements made," Dr. Marbles quietly explained.

"NO NOCAN! DON'T PRESS THAT BUTTON! IT UNLOCKS ALL THE CELLS!" Gourmand bellowed, yanking his arm back from the button.

Gourmand's face turned several shades redder as he scolded Nocan in a low, furious voice, despite his large frame towering over him. "You absolute imbecile! Do you realize what you could've done? You would've released every prisoner in here, and Hacker would have us all in shackles for incompetence!"

Nocan crossed his arms defiantly, unfazed by Gourmand's anger. "Oh, please, Gourmand, as if Hacker could hold a candle to my brilliance."

"Why would he even create a button like that anyways?" Nocan's expression shifted to confusion.

Meanwhile, fthe Conductor overheard their conversation, his mind racing as he formed a plan. He turned towards the others. "Everyone, I think I've got an idea!" He whispered.

"What are you going on about?" Dr. Marbles inquired quietly.

"Just follow my lead!" He replied, leaning towards the group and began whispering instructions. Martha, a talking yellow-coated, mixed-breed, wagged her tail excitedly as they nodded in agreement.

Quietly rallying the others, they devised a cunning scheme to exploit Nocan's condescending nature. The Conductor approached Nocan from behind the glass, a smirk playing on his lips. "Umm excuse me gentlemen, if you don't mind, could I get your attention for just a moment?"

"What do you want, T-Rex?" Gourmand huffed.

The Conductor let out a soft sigh, his tone tinged with annoyance. "I'm actually a Troodon, quite different from a T-Rex."

"Whatever," Gourmand sighed.

"Anyways, Nocan, I couldn't help but notice that you seem to have a high sense of superiority, isn't that right?" The Conductor replied.

"No! Nocan is not superior, Nocan is WEAK!" He shouted.

"Hey, don't say that about yourself!" Lois interjected, her voice calm, oozing with reassurance.

"Yes I AM!" Nocan persisted.

"What exactly are you going on about?" Gourmand questioned, staring at them with a mix of confusion and suspicion.

The Conductor leaned forward, his tone dripping with condescension. "Oh, it's nothing, Gourmand. It's just that if you were truly aiming to prove how strong you are, you would absolutely NOT press that button."

"Oh, I see what you're trying to do!" Gourmand retorted, a wry smile playing on his lips. "You're attempting to trick him into pressing that button, aren't you? Nice try!"

"I don't know what you're talking about! And let me tell you, I know a lot about talking!" Martha spoke up.

Nocan's eyebrows furrowed, his confident façade momentarily crumbling in the face of confusion. "Huh?" he replied.

"Don't you see, Nocan? They're toying with your mind! They're trying to manipulate you into pressing that button!" Gourmand's voice held a note of exasperation.

"Oh, RATS! Looks like our little plan has been uncovered!" Martha responded, her tone laced with mock defeat.

"Yeah!" Lois chimed in, joining Martha's playful tone. "Listen, Nocan, no matter what we say or do, do NOT press that button!"

Oh, I see what you're trying to do. Reverse psychology, huh? Nice try, but I won't be fooled that easily." Nocan's voice boomed.

Dr. Marbles sighed, a mix of exasperation and determination in her voice. "Nocan, we're not trying to trick you. We're genuinely concerned about the consequences of pressing that button. Please, just think before you act."

Gourmand, watching the exchange with a mix of amusement and apprehension, couldn't help but interject. "Don't you see, Nocan? They're playing mind games with you! They're trying to get you to press that button!"

Nocan's face contorted with anger. He clenched his fists, his Contralion tendencies amplifying his emotions. "Enough of this nonsense!" He growled, his voice laced with frustration. Nocan WILL press that button! NOCAN!!!"

"What? NOO!" Gourmand's voice reverberated in protest. However, Nocan's contrary determination prevailed. With a swift movement, his finger pressed the button, causing the cell doors to swing open in almost perfect unison. The room fell into a tense silence as everyone remained still, absorbing the newfound freedom.

Then all Hell broke loose.

A flood of prisoners from various worlds surged forth, swiftly overwhelming the two villains.

Amidst the chaos, the relentless tide of escaping prisoners and the coordinated dives from winged creatures created a scene of pandemonium. The atmosphere was electric, with a mix of desperation and newfound hope.

Amidst the chaotic scene, Lois and her newfound companions adeptly maneuvered their way through the turmoil, eventually finding themselves in a corridor that led to a spacious central hallway.

"We did it!" Lois exclaimed with a mixture of relief and excitement. "I can't believe it actually worked!"

"Yay! We're free!" Chris Griffin exclaimed.

"Oh, I dare say, that was rather thrilling!" King Friday declared, his regal tone tinged with a touch of exhilaration.

"Well done, Martha!" The Conductor praised with a nod of approval.

Martha wagged her tail happily, appreciating the compliment. "Thank you! I'm just glad our plan worked."

"I hate to break off this small victorious occasion, but we shouldn't linger here! We must press forward! Who knows how long we have until they discover us?" Dr. Marbles spoke urgently.

"He's right! We need to get a move on!" Joe chimed in, his tone filled with agreement and determination.

Meanwhile, the Cybersquad's attention perked up as the cell door swung open unexpectedly. Though unsure of the reason behind it, they didn't hesitate to seize the opportunity. With shared determination, they swiftly exited their cell and raced up the stairs, entering a dimly lit hallway shrouded in darkness.

In the dim light, the Cybersquad pressed forward cautiously, their senses on high alert. The cold, damp air hung heavy around them, and the distant echoes of their footsteps reverberated through the corridor. The walls were adorned with pipes and machinery, and on the ground were piles of abandoned crates that cast eerie shadows that danced along the edges of their vision.

"What is this place?" Digit wondered aloud, his virtual eyes scanning the murals.

"I don't know. But this place gives me the creeps," Jackie murmured, her gaze sweeping over the desolate chamber.

"Agreed! But let's keep moving. We need to find a way out of here before Hacker figures out we've escaped! Matt replied, his voice firm.

"What about the others?" Inez asked worriedly.

"Don't worry, Inez; I'm sure we'll find them!" Matt whispered assuringly. "At least, I hope so…"
