Chapter 37.
To where madness is sown.
Stephan stotch poked his head out of the bush as he was hiding behind, before turning back to his peers and shushing them, before listening again.
In the distance, he could hear small footsteps coming along the path, he watched as a small group of children, armed with guns and swords marched down the path, eying their surroundings as if they were looking for something… or someone.
As he watched them pass, Stephan then turned back to his companions, which consisted of Jimbo Kern, Laura Tucker, The McCormicks and the Tweaks.
"Okay… looks like they're gone now." Stephan sighed as he sat back down.
"We should move in case they come back." Said Jimbo. "Come on!"
And following Jimbo's lead, the Adults quickly scampered through the forest as fast as they could, Only to hear the sound of shots coming from behind them.
"There! I see escapers!"
The Adults stopped in their tracks and turned in horror to see several children chasing after them.
"Ah! They're coming right for us!" Cried Jimbo.
"Every man for himself!" Stuart pushed Laura out of the way and ran off, quickly followed by his companions as the children chased after them.
"Get them!"
The Children charged ahead from their quarry, as they jumped through a stream and ran like hell to get away from their pursuers.
Carol suddenly tripped on a stray tree root, tripped and fell flat on her stomach, when she looked up next, she found two boys pointing guns at her face.
"N-No, Please!" She begged.
"Tell us where the others went!" Said the Curly haired boy, Chris Donnoley.
But before Carol could speak up, a large shape loomed over them, the two boys looked up to see Sheila Brovflowfski standing over them, with a large club, With a mighty roar, she wacked the two kids to the side and began giving chase to the five other kids, swinging her club wildly as they quickly turned tail and ran! Sheila watched them go as the other adults starred in surprise.
"...Sheila?" Mrs. Tweak asked.
Sheila swung her club over her shoulder and helped Carol to her feet. "Hello, sorry about that, Those little rascals are everywhere these days."
"Sheila, where have you been?" Asked Richard. "The Children… they've gone mad!"
"Yes… And I think I know why…" She seemed to trail off for a moment, before getting her concentration back. "Come on! I know a place we can hide.
And so the group followed Sheila through the forest until they came upon an old abandoned mineshaft, Sheila tapped on the mine entrance and the boulders gave way to reveal Mr Mackey and Towelie.
"Ah, More survivors!" Said Mr Mackey.
"They'll need food and medicine." Explained Sheila.
"Well, you all better come on in than, M'Kay." Mr Mackey led them all into the mineshaft, as Towelie closed the entrance behind them.
Meanwhile,
Stan and the others sat around a campfire they had erected as they blooded and pondered over recent events.
"So that's it? We're out of ideas?" Asked Stan.
""We need to get to Washington." Mark said. "If Viros is planning to start this "evolution" there, than we need to hurry and stop him!"
"And face all those ads creatures again?" Asked Cartman. "We barely got the hell out of there alive! How are we supposed to fight a whole Army of them?!"
"We just need to get guns." Said Mark. ""Maybe then we could stand a fighting chance."
"And just how are we supposed to get guns?" Asked Heidi.
"Simple." Said Mark as he stood up and walked over to a nearby well. "It just so happens, Gregory kept a stock pile of these things, in case something like this happened."
He then proceeded to pull on the handle of the well and suddenly, the large rock behind the well opened up, to reveal a large stockpile of weapons.
"Aw sweet dude!" Exclaimed Cartman as he ran over and looked at the various weapons to choose from, the others followed and began collecting weapons of their respective choice."
"(Oh sweet, these are fuckin sweet dude.)" Said Kenny as he held up a shotgun and a baseball bat, Tammy picked up a Katana sword, while Ike got a flamethrower.
"Yay!"
As everyone collected their weapons, Heidi pulled out a pocket knife and a pistol, she holstered them on, then noticed Stan looking at her.
"What?" She asked.
"We should talk." Said Stan coldly.
Heidi followed Stan to a private part of the forest, stood there, not speaking.
"What do you want?" Asked Heidi.
Stan gave the girl a hard glare before speaking. "Okay, I've let it go for a while now, But after what we've just witnessed, what we just found out… I can safely say you're a bitch."
Heidi gasped. "Excuse me?!"
"You knew Kyle was keeping Skankhunt a secret and said Nothing!" Exclaimed Stan. "And then, you dump him to go back to Cartman, listen to whatever bullshit he told you! and let him tell you whatever bullshit he said about him!"
Heidi's eyes flashed with anger. "What do you know of what that fat bastard told me?!" She demanded. "He told me what I wanted to hear!"
"And you just went with it!" Stan shot back. "And why? Because a guy you liked was "Apparently also using you?" like Cartman did?!"
"He knew his Dad was Skankhunt and said nothing!" Heidi snarled.
"Have you seen the last 24 hours?!" Stan exclaimed. "Skankhunt wasn't Gerald! There's no way Kyle could have known! Hell, How could anyone… have known his "troll Dad" was an ad?! Kyle probably had good reasons for not telling anyone."
"Like what?" Asked Heidi.
"Cartman for one, you know, the racist bastard you had the pleasure of dating, Who would have taken great pleasure in using this against him and his family, Why? Because they're Jewish! Something he rips on Kyle for being everyday! Which YOU! gladly took part with him in!"
"So what?! He can't stay away from that fat fuckwad for shit!"
Stan was incensed at this point. "That's because that fat fuckwad never stays away from him! Because he's always discriminating against him and belittling his people!"
Heidi stayed silent as Stan continued to speak. "And you hate Kyle because he only tried to protect his family, does any of that? Justify mocking his religion?!"
That last statement made Heidi look like he had seen a ghost.
"Just think about that on the way." Said Stan finally. "We've got to join the others, And I'm going to find my Friend if I can."
And with that, Stan left to join the others, Leaving Heidi with a lot to think about.
Meanwhile,
Soon the plane landed in the airport of Los Angeles, Butters and Nelly dismounted from their flight and made their way to the front of the Airport entrance and found a car pulling up to them.
Two figures emerged from the car, Nelly assumed they were Butter's aunt and uncle.
"Aunt Nellie! Uncle Budd!" Butters immediately ran up and hugged his Aunt.
"Oh hello Butters." Said Aunt Nellie. "We've been expecting you!"
"Who's your little friend here Kiddo?" Asked Uncle Budd, eyeing Nelly with interest.
Nelly didn't really know how to respond, and she was put off by Aunt Nellie's comment, Did they even know what happened in South Park?
Butters let go of his Aunt and pulled Nelly forward. "Oh, This is Nelly, She's my new best friend!"
"That's… a bit of an overstatement." Nelly replied.
"Oh well, it's so nice of our nephew to bring you along." Said Aunt Nellie. "You must truly be tired from your flight, come on now, we'll help unpack at home."
As Uncle Budd and Aunt Nellie led them to the Car, Nelly couldn't help but feel a sense of unease around these people… Especially this, "Uncle Budd"
