The fighting tournament on Planet Vegeta is about to begin, but first everyone has to take a power level test to determine which Saiyans will take part in the eight fighter battle tournament. Only the strongest eight out of hundreds will get to participate.
Trunks powers up and blows out everyone's scouters. "Unbelievable! Who is this man!?" Everyone wonders.
Nappa sighs. "I'll go get the replacement scouters for everyone." Nappa says as he leaves the arena to get the scouters.
Meanwhile, a Saiyan boy with Goku's hair and face appears with his father at his side. "I've been training hard father! I won't disappoint you!"
Trunks looks beyond happy to see him. "F-Father..."
Then Bardock looks over at Gine. "Hey, your from the Saiyan academy too, aren't you?"
Gine nods. "I remember you, your that boy who's always talking to Fasha."
Bardock smirks. "Your power level is impressive I have to admit."
Gine smirks back at him. "I'm seven digits stronger than you! That's a lucky number, you know."
Bardock chuckles. "Our difference in power level doesn't matter at all! I'll still defeat you!"
Gine chuckles. "Woah don't get ahead of yourself just yet! The tournament hasn't even started yet."
Bardock's father looks at Trunks. "Are you a cousin of mine? I swear the resemblance is uncanny. Even my brother Turles looks a lot less than us with his darker skin color. What is your name?"
Trunks smiles. "My name is Trunks and your my great grandfather!"
Bardock laughed. "Ha! So I guess that would make me your grandpa! What's next? Are you gonna say me and Gine get married?"
Trunks chuckled. "That's right you do both get married and have two kids named Goku and Raditz."
Bardock looked shocked. "Wow really! And how strong do they become?"
"Goku becomes the first Super Saiyan after one thousand years but Raditz is as weak as a Saibaman." Trunks said as the tournament announcer takes the stage.
Bardock powers up for the power level test. His power level is 767 and Gine's is 774. Fasha comes out at 675 and Tora at 678. They were among the top eight strongest fighters among all the participants. Trunks is chosen too and another Saiyan female named Kisha is chosen too. This particular Saiyan named Kisha has a power level of over 3000! Trunks wonders where she came from. Next a Saiyan named Paragus gets chosen and then a fat Saiyan named Onio gets chosen.
And thus the tournament begins! First up is Bardock versus Tora. "I knew you'd make it, Tora!" Bardock cheerfully said, powering up his ki.
Tora smirked. "I can't believe we are the strongest Saiyans here! It's like a dream come true."
"Oh that's funny, considering your always dreaming." Bardock said.
Tora chuckled as he dodges out of the way from Bardock's kick. "What can I say? I'm always dreaming big! Now show me your power!" Tora yells out as he is then bombarded by a series of Bardock's punches. Tora sighs. "Alright already! You win, Bardock." Tora gives up.
The next battle begins! It is between Fasha and Gine. Fasha smirks. "I'm gonna marry Bardock someday." she says to Gine, who doesn't seem to care at all.
Gine smirked. "I don't care. The only two things I live for is food and a good fight." Gine begins the fight and punches Fasha straight in the face.
"Your gonna pay for that!" Fasha yells in rage.
Bardock chuckles. "Gine really is strong! Maybe she would make a nice wife for me. What do you think dad?" Bardock asked facing his father Targon.
Targon nodded. "She'd make a good wife for you son. But being a parent is a lot of hard work, you've got no idea."
Bardock chuckled. "I'm gonna be the best father ever!"
Targon sighs. "I hope you do son..."
Fasha loses the battle. Next Trunks takes the stage against the fat Saiyan Onio. "I'm gonna become a Super Saiyan someday!" Onio declares.
Trunks chuckles. "I'll make this quick." Trunks lightly knocks him out.
Then Paragus and Kisha take the stage. Kisha smiles. "Your a pretty good looking guy, but there's no way you can beat me!" She beats him to a bloody pulp.
"Kill him! Kill him!' the crowed cheers out.
Kisha smirks. "I'll let you live, I don't normally do that for just anyone."
And thus Bardock, Gine, Trunks and Kisha make it to the finals!
Gine is very happy to see Bardock. "Let's make this a fight to remember!" Gine throws the first punch at Bardock.
Meanwhile while their fighting. Trunks senses God's energy. "Trunks there's something you should know about this event." he quietly whispered.
"What is it, lord?" Trunks asked.
"If you don't give up on the next fight... Bardock and Gine will never get married..." God said, shocking Trunks.
Trunks smiles. "Thanks God, you've always help me like this in the past."
God chuckles. "Have fun, Trunks... and no matter what happens next, don't get too involved... some things are better left unsaid."
Gine wins the fight against Bardock. And so Trunks takes the stage against Kisha. "I wonder where you came from? You've got a lot of potential." Trunks states as he dodges Kisha's fist.
Kisha keeps on trying to hit Trunks in rage. "Darn it! Your pissing me off!" she said.
"I give up, you win." Trunks said.
Kisha chuckles. "Of course I win! I'm the strongest female Saiyan!"
Then the final battle begins between Gine and Kisha. "Ha Ha Ha! I'm gonna enjoy tearing you apart, little Gine!" Kisha evilly said as she punched Gine hard on the face and proceeded to begin choking her.
Bardock couldn't stand watching this anymore. "Riot Javelin!" he shouted, unleashing a strong blast to knock Kisha away from Gine.
Bardock flew in to help Gine stand up. "Are you ok? Gine?"
"B-Bardock... thank you... your such a sweet heart..."
"She needs medical emergency!" Bardock yells out.
"Kill her! Kill her!" the crowd yells out.
Targon walks over and takes Gine into his arms. "I'll take care of her, my son. You've got to beat Kisha now or else those Saiyans will kill us for not fighting anymore."
Kisha smirks as she walks over to Bardock. "Show me your power!"
And then out of nowhere a huge spaceship appears in the sky coming down to Planet Vegeta. "Lord Frieza we have arrived to Planet Vegeta. There seems to be a fight going on." Zarbon, being one of Frieza's strongest men said.
Frieza evilly smirked. "Let's see what this is about." Frieza and his evil men flew down to the stage. King Vegeta then appeared. "Frieza? Do what do I owe the honor?" he asked.
Frieza wickedly smiled. "I heard you Saiyans were having some kind of competition. So I came to see the winner myself!"
Kisha smirked. "I am the strongest!"
Frieza chuckled. "Your just a kid! Stop wasting my time!" Frieza then proceeded to slap her across the face.
Kisha looked beyond angry. "I'll show you not to mock the Saiyan race! Arrrggghhh Ahhh!" She shout out as her ki turned yellow and then she became a Super Saiyan.
Frieza couldn't believe his eyes. "How is this possible! She's just a kid!"
Trunks looked surprised. "No way! Is this really happening? Vegeta never told me something like this really happened in the past... but I guess it makes sense considering he hasn't been born yet." Trunks said.
Kisha punched Frieza in the head. "You damned little monkey!" Frieza yelled in anger.
Then Frieza's brother Cooler appeared in the air. "Frieza! Father is calling for us to appear at his castle. Let's go." he said.
Frieza looked very angry at Cooler. "Oh fine! We'll have to settle this another day. I'll never forget this humiliation though!" Frieza yelled as he flew away.
King Vegeta began clapping his hands. "Kisha wins! She will become my new Saiyan queen!"
"But she's just a kid!" Trunks couldn't believe his ears.
King Vegeta smirked. "With her power, my son will be so strong!"
Targon then flew down with Gine to meet with Bardock. "I've patched up her wounds. What did I miss?" He asked.
Bardock pointed his finger at Kisha. "She turned into a Super Saiyan and punched Frieza in the face! You should had seen it, dad."
Targon chuckled. "Well let's go home son. Tomorrow your going back to school. Your teacher Nappa will have a big test for you surely."
Gine looked at Bardock. "Thank you for saving me... can we hang out tomorrow after class?" Gine shyly asked.
Bardock nodded. "Of course we can Gine... you were awesome today, I really enjoyed our fight..."
Gine smiled. "I'll bring you some food to eat tomorrow..."
Trunks looked so happy to see them like this. "So this is how grandpa met my grandma. I wonder what's next!"
