In the beginning, before the creation of the universe. God created his angels, the spirits of light. One of his angels he named Beerus. This particular angel loved food and a good fight. One day, God called Beerus to his throne and asked him. "Do you love food more than me?" God asked Beerus, who appeared with a bowl of ramen noodles.

"Yes, so much more!" Beerus dared to yell out.

Micheal the archangel, being the one with the upmost royalty to God brought out his sword. "How dare you talk to the lord that way!"

God smiled. "Beerus... I love you so much, I won't banish you from existence like I did the evil one. Instead you shall bring destruction onto the planets that I wish for you to destroy. You shall never eat from the tree of life again! Now leave my presence."

Beerus looked angry. "B-But... that fruit is so good! You can't do this to me! Please reconsider!"

God waved his hands and then Beerus was sent to the dawn of creation. Millions of planets stood facing Beerus. "Destroy that one first." God whispered into Beerus's ear. Beerus blew up a red looking planet. "Now that one and that one too!" God said making Beerus destroy planet from planet. "Now go to planet Earth and meet a man named Trunks, he's gonna train with you." God said.

Beerus chuckled. "I'm not in your domain anymore, God! So why should I take orders from you anymore?" Beerus asked, knowing full well that God didn't want to kill him.

"Oh Beerus, what else do you have to do with your time?" God said.

Beerus grunted. "Fine!" Beerus angrily flew off towards the Earth.

"Don't be so angry, Beerus. Trunks can make good food." God said.

Beerus smiled. "Thank you, God."

On Earth, after the creation of man and woman. The descendants of Shem, Ham and Japheth who were the son's of Noah began to populate the whole world. Trunks lived among them and always tried to show them the right way to live their lives. But it wasn't until Trunks had met Abram that he truly understood the definition of trusting and being loyal to God. In fact, God had given Trunks the task of stopping Abraham from killing his son. "Stop! Abraham! Don't kill your son! God knows now that you are truly loyal to him! He isn't a bad God, he just wanted to see if you would go the extra mile for him, in fact he probably wouldn't had ordered you to sacrifice your son if he hadn't already known that you truly loved him." Trunks said, barely stopping the knife an inch away from killing Isaac.

Abraham rejoiced in his heart. "Thank you, God."

Now it came to pass after these things that it was told Abraham, saying, "Indeed Milcah also has borne children to your brother Nahor. Huz his firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel the father of Aram, Chesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph, and Bethuel." And Bethuel begot Rebekah.

These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, Abraham's brother. His concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore Tebah, Gaham, Thahash, and Maachah. Trunks's favorite person to train with was Rebekah though, she was a talented woman with many skills and quickly earned the respect of the whole human race. Trunks had fallen deeply in love with Rebekah.

One day while hunting for food at night. Trunks looked at the star's showing up in the sky. "I'm never gonna die... I'll have to wait another million years before I ever get a chance to kill the androids... Oh God... why did you do this to me?"

"Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved." God whispered into his ear.

"Well if that's true... then why does the way of the wicked always seem to prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease? You have planted them, and they have taken root; they grow and bear fruit. You are always on their lips but far from their hearts. So I ask again, God... why did you let the androids kill Vegeta and countless others? When you could had done something about it!" Trunks yelled out in anger.

"I did do something about it... I created you." God said, shocking Trunks.

Trunks smiled. "I guess that's the answer then."

"There's gonna be brighter days." God said, hoping to cheer up Trunks.

Trunks chuckled. "I'm not about to give up then! Because I heard you say, there's gonna be brighter days! I won't stop training! I'll keep my head up and wait until I accomplish my purpose of my life, and that is to defeat the androids!" Trunk proclaimed raising a fist up to the stars above.

"Rebekah was meant for Issac... but now she will be your wife. You shall name your two kids Esau and Jacob, and Esau will grow up to become a mighty hunter while Jacob's legacy will mark the first Super Saiyan to ever exist on Earth apart from you. Esau will desire to want to kill his brother though... so I leave the task to you of handling the outcome of that." God said.

Trunks smirked. "That sounds exciting! I wonder how my son Jacob becomes a Super Saiyan."

"Life is all about the experience. Enjoy the little things, Trunks... and you will always be happy." God said.

"What will it be like... when everyone dies? When the end comes... when I see you face to face... what will it be like?" Trunks asked.

God sensed that Beerus was approaching. "I'll answer your question another day. Get ready Trunks, for your about to meet the God of destruction."

To be continued.
