A very heavy hail began to fall all over the land of Egypt, with lice and flies everywhere and also locusts. Trunks managed to get all his people to safety, one by one he took in his arms and carried away to a safe place in the wilderness. As everyone became happy, they sooned found themselves hungry for food. So then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Trunks in the wilderness. And the children of Israel said to them, "Oh, that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger!"
Trunks looked up towards the heavens and said, "God help us! Bring us food..."
Then the Lord said to Trunks and Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not. And it shall be on the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily."
Then Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, "At evening you shall know that the Lord has brought you out of the land of Egypt. And in the morning you shall see the glory of the Lord; for He hears your complaints against the Lord. But what are we, that you complain against us?" Also Moses said, "This shall be seen when the Lord gives you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; for the Lord hears your complaints which you make against Him. And what are we? Your complaints are not against us but against the Lord."
Then Moses spoke to Trunks, "Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, 'Come near before the Lord, for He has heard your complaints.' "
Now it came to pass, as Trunks spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud. "I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, 'At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I am the Lord your God.' "
So it was that quails came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp. And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground. So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, "What is it?" For they did not know what it was.
"This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat. This is the thing which the Lord has commanded: 'Let every man gather it according to each one's need, one omer for each person, according to the number of persons; let every man take for those who are in his tent.' " Then the children of Israel did so and gathered, some more, some less. So when they measured it by omers, he who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack. Every man had gathered according to each one's need.
And Moses said, "Let no one leave any of it till morning." Notwithstanding they did not heed Moses. But some of them left part of it until morning, and it bred worms and stank.
And Moses was angry with them. So they gathered it every morning, every man according to his need. And when the sun became hot, it melted. And so it was, on the sixth day, that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses. Then he said to them, "This is what the Lord has said: 'Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord. Bake what you will bake today, and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.' " So they laid it up till morning, as Moses commanded; and it did not stink, nor were there any worms in it.
Then Moses said, "Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to the Lord; today you will not find it in the field. Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will be none." Now it happened that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none.
And the Lord said to Moses, "How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws? See! For the Lord has given you the Sabbath; therefore He gives you on the sixth day bread for two days. Let every man remain in his place; let no man go out of his place on the seventh day." So the people rested on the seventh day. And the house of Israel called its name Manna. And it was like white coriander seed, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
Then Moses said, "This is the thing which the Lord has commanded: 'Fill an omer with it, to be kept for your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.' "
But nobody really cared about what Moses and Trunks had to say, their selfishness grew every day. "I'm going to test the children of Israel. Tomorrow you will face Amalek and a dark force will come upon you all! Trunks it is up to you to protect the people of Israel, however, many will be injured... some may die as well. Tell the people of Israel to pray to me, their God and I will deliver each man that does pray, if not... they will perish."
Trunks sighed as he gathered everyone together for a speech. "God has warned me that many of you will die tomorrow if you do not have faith enough to pray to him! Just open your eyes and know that he is in control and he is God! Please... know that he is God and he will find a way to save those who have faith in him, he always finds a way! Be still and know that he is God, just trust in him."
The youngest man in the tribe nodded happily, his name was Joshua. "I believe it! I believe he is with us! I will wait on him."
Moses smiled. "Thank you, Joshua."
Then the next day, Amalek came down to face Israel, however, there was only one man there facing everyone. "Is this a joke? He's just one man! Let's kill him!" all the people of Israel agreed and took out swords to attack the mysterious figure.
Trunks sensed a huge power level in that one person facing everyone. "N-No! Everyone stop!"
"So... this is the time traveler I've heard so much about! I will enjoy consuming you all! Especially you, Trunks!" The lone figure said as he unleashed a massive ball of fire and killed all of Israel, only Joshua and Moses survived the attack with Trunks.
"T-That was too quick! Just who are you?" Trunks asked.
"I go by many different names... but you can just call me, Satan!" The evil man said.
Trunks got out his sword. "I don't know where you came from, but I ain't letting you kill my friends!"
"I'm afraid I've spend enough time in this form... we shall meet again Trunks. Remember me, for I am Supreme!" The evil man said as he then put his fingers to his forehead and disappeared using the instant transmission.
"That being you just met, was a devil. There are many beings like him that exist in the world, so I need you to protect all my people from beings like him. Now watch what happens next and know that I am truly God!" God said as he began to make dry bones come alive and began to reform all the dead people, bringing them all back to life.
Trunks couldn't believe the miracle happening in front of him. "Your so awesome, God."
"Now take your sword and strike that rock over there, these people will need plenty of water after being resurrected like that." God said, so Trunks then crushed the rock and lots of water came gushing out, everyone drank to their hearts contend.
Joshua walked over to see Trunks. "Trunks... I've heard stories that your some kind of powerful immortal... could you teach me how to use ki?" Joshua asked.
Trunks could sense a lot of potential from this young man, he was very strong for human standards that is. "Yes! I'll teach you how to use ki and chakra."
Joshua looked confused. "Wait... aren't ki and chakra the same thing?"
Trunks smirked. "Not exactly, chakra is energy that connects physical and spiritual energies together while Ki is pure raw energy. With chakra you can create illusions, summon creatures and even fire balls from your finger tips! It's very hard to do, it oftens requires lots of concentration and pure focus, you'll also have to make certain hand signs to perform specific techniques... with KI you can become a Super Saiyan or even blow up planets the stronger you get. Does this make any sense?"
Joshua nodded. "So... Ki increases the stonger you get, while chakra requires lots of discipline... teach me everything!"
A few other young people heard them talking and approached Trunks. "Teach us too! We promise we'll never doubt in God ever again!"
"Don't make promises you won't keep... oh well, I might as well open a school to teach you all." Trunks said as he then began teaching everyone that was interested in learning about Ki and chakra.
A few weeks later...
"Hey, Hina! I bet I can shoot fire out of my hands now!" A man with blonde hair and wearing a orange jumpsuit said to his girlfriend, who had black long hair and wore a grey sweater.
Hina chuckled. "Oh, Naru-kun, your so funny! I can do that trick too! Watch and behold! Fire flash attack!" Hina shouted as she preformed a hand sign and unleashed a wavy flash of fire that struck Naru.
"Oh, crap! My clothes are on fire!" Naru said, crying.
Hina chuckled. "Oh, sorry, Naru, guess I over did it by using ki with it."
Trunks couldn't help but feel happy to see all the people of Israel getting stronger and more willing to serve God.
Back in the present time.
"Wow, Trunks! All that's amazing and everything, but right now we should focus on what to do about Planet Vegeta and it's people." Goku said.
Raditz nodded in agreement. "When Frieza finds out, if he hasn't already, there will be a war!"
Jiece and Burter nodded. "Please don't kill us! We'll help you all out the best we can!"
"Take us to Frieza." Raditz said.
"Uh... ok, we can do that for you." Jiece and Burter said.
However, Recomme wasn't about to just give up. "RECOMME ERASA GUN!" He shouted unleashing it towards Bulma's spaceship, blowing it up.
Burter then restrained him. "No! Don't you see, you fool! These guys are way stronger than us!"
Goku chuckled. "Oh, well, there goes the ship, guess we'll be staying here on Planet Vegeta for the rest of our lives."
"We can just take the Ginyu forces space pods they came with. Will they work on getting us to Frieza?" Trunks asked.
Jiece and Burter nodded. "All five of them are already programmed to return to Frieza's base. All you gotta do is hop in and they'll take off automatically."
Trunks smiled. "Thank you for the help, just for that we'll spare your lives."
Raditz then jumped into one of them. "Let's go already!"
Gine nodded. "I'll go with you my boys, we'll put in an end to Frieza reign of terror once and for all!"
Then Bulma was finished at the hospital, so Goku came to see her. "I'm leaving with my family to face Frieza. Fasha will take good care of our son." Goku said as he held her hands.
Bulma smiled. "I want to go with Goku... please take me!"
Goku sighed. "You're still hurt, Bulma... I can't..."
"Please Goku! Don't leave me behind." Bulma said.
Goku sighed again. "Okay, Bulma... you can come, just stay close to me this time."
Bulma nodded. "Of course, my love."
And so Raditz, Goku, Trunks, Gine and Bulma all got into the space pods and left Krillin, Suno and Mai with Bulma's son behind to live on Planet Vegeta with Fasha to help guide them through the world.
Meanwhile, on another planet. Vegeta and Nappa met the legendary Super Saiyan Broly and his father Paragus.
To be continued.
