This is the origin story of Broly and Paragus.

Before the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Paragus found out that his son Broly had been born with a power level of ten thousand which was completely absurd for a newborn baby, in fact the highest recorded power level for a baby was Vegeta's which was a little over 9000. Yet, now Broly was different, Paragus could sense that his baby could increase his KI rapidly with pure emotion. One day, Paragus went to meet with King Targon to discuss his son's power level. "My king... Broly could aid us in defeating Frieza and taking over the universe." Paragus said to the king, hoping that this new king would be different from King Vegeta.

Targon nodded. "Yes... his power level is unbelievably high, once he's full grown we can use him to defeat Frieza! Alright Paragus, you are tasked with training that child. Good luck to you, my friend." Targon said.

Paragus smiled. "Thank you, my king."

However, Paragus made a plan with his wife to use Broly's power to take over Planet Vegeta. So Targon had found out all about this and exiled Paragus and Broly together to another planet right before Frieza had come to destroy Planet Vegeta.

As Bardock fought all of Frieza's troups. Broly sensed the arrival of Frieza and took his father away to another planet nearby as Planet Vegeta was then blown up by Frieza.

It was there that Paragus trained his son, who at age ten had a power level of five million. His power grew rapidly, in at some point it became too much which caused Broly to lose control over his mind, he quickly went insane hearing Kakarot's baby laugh over and over again play in his mind. He began to have major hallucinations, sometimes he would see the dead people he and his father had killed. However, inside his heart, Broly felt that killing other's was wrong. And so one day, Broly had enough of doing what his father Paragus ordered him to do, so Broly tried to kill him, but then Paragus placed a device over his head that would heavily suppress his energy.

"Father... I don't want to kill anymore... please..." Broly said to him.

"You will do as I say! Or else I'll beat you, which I can now do since your power level is suppressed thanks to my device! Now we will take over the universe!" Paragus said and then for years both Paragus and Broly went on to destroy many planets. Every year that passed, Broly's power level increased exponentially, reaching 112 Quintillion by the time that Vegeta had encountered them in the south galaxy. There Vegeta faced off with Broly, who had his power level suppressed at the time.

"You bore me." Broly said to Vegeta as he struck him away.

Vegeta couldn't believe how powerful Broly was even when he was suppressed. "Your power level is very high, how would you like to join me?" Vegeta offers with his hand out.

Paragus then flew over to meet them. "Broly is mine! Now leave, before I release his true power! He is the legendary Super Saiyan!"

"Is that right? Let me see his true power then!" Vegeta said.

Paragus wickedly smiled. "Don't say I didn't warn you!" Paragus said as he unleashed Broly's true power.

Vegeta looked in terror as the legendary Super Saiyan shoved his fist into Vegeta's gut. "Kill him, Broly!" Paragus ordered.

"P-Please... spare me... I want to live... I'll leave this planet and never come back... please..." Vegeta asked as he began coughing up blood.

Paragus wickedly smiled. "Kill him! Broly!"

Broly grabbed Vegeta by the throat. "It's nothing personal... Die." Broly then crushed Vegeta's head and proceeded to blow up Nappa to bits.

A few days later, the Earth dragon balls had been used to bring back to life the Saiyan race and it's planet. Vegeta couldn't hardly believe he was alive again with Nappa on that same planet where they had met Broly and Paragus, both of who had already left the planet. "Vegeta... were alive again!" Nappa said.

"Indeed we are... what!? The scouter is indicating that huge power levels have appeared where Planet Vegeta once stood." Vegeta said.

"Should we go there? We still have to check on Raditz, it's been a while since we last heard of him." Nappa said, turning on his scouter.

"That low level trash means nothing to me! Now let's go find out if I'm right in assuming that we aren't the only Saiyan's who have been revived somehow." Vegeta said as he and Nappa got into their space pods and left towards Planet Vegeta.

Back to the present time. Paragus and Broly had finally arrived on Planet Vegeta. Paragus planned to show off his son's power level and take the throne by force. "Kill Bardock!" Paragus ordered his son.

"KAKAROT!" Broly screamed in anger and attacked head on. Bardock quickly turned into a Super Saiyan 3 and blocked a heavy punch. "I'm not Kakarot! He is!" Bardock said, pointing at Goku.

"Hiya, my real name is Goku! Nice to meet you, big fella." Goku said, hoping he could befriend Broly.

"KAKAROT!" Broly screamed, then he punched Goku in the gut. Goku began coughing out blood.

"Wait... no fair... you didn't let me go Super Saiyan yet!" Goku said.

Broly smirked. "Now you die, KAKAROT!!!"

Then Trunks flew in between them. "He's way too strong! I've got no choice! I have to seal him in my sword!"

"Wow! You can do that! How!?" Goku asked.

Trunks smiled. "My sword is called the Z sword, I got it from the Supreme Kai."

"You've got to tell me that story!" Goku said.

Trunks sighed. "I will first have to release Buddha from the sword, if I'm to seal Broly into it. Well... it's worth the risk!" Trunks said as he began to preform a chakra technique, once finished all he had to do is strike Broly a single time.

Bardock had quickly grabbed Broly from behind, then Trunks managed to barely hit Broly, who had already almost gotten freed from Bardock's hold on him.

Trunks sighed in relief. "There... but now we must face Buddha again..."
