Early in the morning, the next day after the Z fighters got their power level back and brought Gohan and Videl back to life. Gohan began to get ready for school, he packed everything he needed in his backpack and then his mom Suno called him for breakfast.

Suno laid out waffles and coffee on the table.

"Wow, I love coffee and waffles, thanks mom." Gohan said as he ate.

"Good luck at school today! I hope you snag yourself a nice girlfriend." Suno said, causing Gohan to blush.

"I'm dating Videl, mom." Gohan replied.

Suno chuckled. "There's plenty of women out there, son. It's not like your gonna marry Videl." Suno said, she wasn't exactly fond of Videl nor her very loud father.

Gohan sighed. "This conversation is over. Goodbye mom." he said as he left the house.

"Good luck out there, son." Suno said.

Gohan arrived a little late to class, on purpose because he didn't like to go to school at all since Suno stopped being the teacher and instead Android 18 became the new teacher at school.

"Welcome to my class. My name is Ms. Lazuli. I'll be your teacher for the rest of the year." Android 18 said.

"Your name is Lazuli? I thought you were an Android?" Gohan asked in confusion.

Ms. Lazuli nodded. "Let me explain, I am still an android but I got all my memory back from before I was turned into an android. All thanks to my boyfriend Krillin."

Gohan looked confused. "So... Did Dr. Gero kidnapp you or something?" Gohan asked.

"I don't know, I have no memory of that part. But I still feel human on the inside, even if I'm a robot now." Android 18 said, "You shall call me Ms. Lazuli for now on, you got it!"

Gohan nodded. "Yeah... let's get on with the boring class already."

After class, Videl and Gohan were walking to Videl's home, and they began talking about God and moral stuff.

"Do you think that God really loves us?" Videl asked Gohan, she didn't really want to believe in God because her father refused to believe in him, that's why he's called Mr. Satan, he is secretly a very evil person.

Gohan smiled. "Of course God loves us."

"What makes you think that?" Videl asked.

"God so loved the world, he gave his life up for us. God is love, he shines his light to those that believe in him. His kindness knows no bounds. I know he loves us, because he created all the things we enjoy today... where do you think animals and food came from? They didn't just magically appear. God created everything that is good." Gohan said.

"B-But that makes no sense! We humans created things! Not him!" Videl argued.

"Well... can you explain where nature and animals originated from? Or why we all have an appearance with two of everything, like two nipples, two eyes, two legs, two hands? Why make us have two of everything? Clearly someone designed us this way." Gohan said.

Videl smiled. "You make a good point. That's why I love you so much, Gohan! Your so smart."

"Also, you should know that God doesn't play favorites, if you do bad, but repent, God is good to forgive you but some people never repent like my uncle Raditz, he's been doing drugs and hurting his family. I think I should beat him up for that." Gohan said.

Videl chuckled. "We should beat him up."

"No, at least not for now. He might change someday." Gohan said as they arrived home to Videl's house.

"Father isn't gonna like to see us together." Videl said.

Gohan chuckled. "Let him see us! I can just woop his butt."

"So... You are Son Gohan?" A creepy voice said coming from behind them.

"Who are you?" Gohan asked.

"My name is Cell! I was created to kill your father, but he's already dead, so I'll have to settle for you instead!" Cell said as he struck Gohan in the face with his large tail.

Gohan quickly turned Super Saiyan. "He's strong! Videl run!"

Cell then tried to kill Videl, but Gohan defended her. "I'm your target Cell! Leave Videl alone!"

Cell evilly smirked. "I'm gonna kill you all!"

Then Trunks arrived. "Where did a monster like you come from?" Trunks asked Cell.

"I came from the future!" Cell replied.

Trunks looked shocked. "B-But how?"

"Let me explain, I was created by Dr. Gero using all of Earth's greatest hero's cells, including yours and Frieza's!"

"F-Frieza!? But he's never been on Earth!" Trunks said in shock, he could sense that Cell was very powerful even more than Frieza.

Cell chuckled. "Not just Frieza, but Beerus too! I came into existence a few years from now! I killed everyone in my timeline, but I couldn't absorb Android 18 or 17 because Frieza had already killed them when he paid a visit to this planet. Then you were there to cause me pain! You wouldn't die, so I decided to travel back to the past and here I am!"

Trunks looked shocked. "Y-You killed everyone!?"

"Surprised? You were the only one who survived so I took your time machine and came here! Now nobody will stop me from becoming perfect and ruling the world! No, not just the world but the whole universe!" Cell said as he blasted Gohan.

Gohan fell to his knees hurt. "Your not gonna get away with this, Cell!" Gohan said.

Cell smirked. "Die!" Cell then blew a hole into Gohan's chest.

"N-No! Gohan already died once! We can't bring him back to life!" Trunks shouted as he became enraged and turned into a Super Saiyan 2 for the first time. "I'm gonna make you pay, Cell!"

Cell chuckled as he fought Trunks. "My power level is far above yours!"

Trunks sighed. "I can't die, so what exactly are you hoping to accomplish?" Trunks asked.

Cell chuckled. "I want to become perfect! It matters not whether you live or die! Once I become perfect, I'll kill everyone and leave the Earth and become the new king of the universe!"

Meanwhile, in the spirit realm. Goku was training hard in King Kai's planet.

"Hey, King Kai! Why do you look so worried for?" Goku asked.

"A monster that threatens the whole universe is on Earth right now!" King Kai said.

"Really? I wanna fight him." Goku said. "I've been training so much! I wish I could come back to life, stupid heart virus."

"You can, Goku! King Yemma has just approved you to come back for one day to the land of the living!" King Kai said.

"Thank God! Wait... who approved me? King Yemma?" Goku asked.

"No Goku! God did, he made King Yemma do all the necessary paper work for you! Now you can go to Earth and stop Cell." King Kai said.

Goku nodded. "Should I turn into God mode?"

King Kai nodded. "Yes, you may need to channel the Super Saiyan God energy in order to stop Cell."

Goku smirked. "Heck ya! I've been meaning to use this new power against someone!"

"Settle down, Goku! Remember that you only got the God energy because God wanted to give you that power, but it shouldn't be abused, just remember that Goku. Now go and stop Cell! You're only gonna have one day to do that." King Kai said.

Goku smirked as he transformed with the God ki, turning into Super Saiyan Blue and left King Kai's planet to go back to Earth.
