Now the next match began between Cabba and future Vegeta. Of course, Vegeta toyed with him a little bit before knocking him unconscious. After a few minutes, Cabba stood back up and looked angry at Vegeta. "Why!? Why are you so strong and I'm so weak! Dang it! Were both Saiyan's, yet you've surpassed me by a lot!" Cabba said as he struggled with his feelings of losing.

Vegeta chuckled. "Your just like me, when I was surpassed by Kakarot. I was born with a high power level, while Kakarot was born with a measly power level of two, yet he surpassed me every single time since I first met him. Let me tell you my story."

Goku looked excited. "Wow, I wonder how things turned out for Vegeta in his timeline."

Trunks smiled. "You'll be surprised. Vegeta went through a lot of pain and suffering."

Vegeta smirked. "Now listen carefully, this is my story."

Then a flashback began:

The story of Vegeta all began when he and Nappa came to Earth after Raditz had failed in bringing Goku to them. In the battle between Raditz and Goku, Piccolo had managed to kill both of them with the special beam cannon, and then Piccolo revealed to Raditz that he would revive Goku using the dragon balls. This truth was heard by Vegeta and Nappa.

And so after one year, Vegeta arrived to face Earth's greatest heroes. Trunks was a kid who had trained hard with Piccolo.

Vegeta looked at Trunks and grunted. "Your just a boy, yet your already stronger than I was as a kid! However, it matters not for Nappa will make short work of you."

Trunks smirked. "I am the son of Goku! I'll show you not to underestimate me!"

Nappa evilly smirked. "This boy has some humor! I'm gonna enjoy killing him!"

Vegeta looked impressed as he saw Trunks fight Nappa. "The kid's power level has jumped to 3000! I can't imagine how strong he'll be as a grown up! Nappa kill him!"

Nappa then grabbed Trunks by the throat. "With pleasur- What! A power level of 7000!?"

Piccolo smirked. "TAKE THIS! SPECIAL BEAM CANNON!"

Trunks then looked at Tien. "Use the solar flare!" Trunks shouted at him, knowing that Nappa could easily dodge Piccolo's attack and Tien just so happened to be in front of him.

"THIS ONE IS FOR CHIOATZU! SOLAR FLARE!" Tien angrily shouted and caught Nappa by surprise. Then the special beam cannon blast when right through the startled Nappa, tearing a huge hole into his chest.

"Impossible... I the great Nappa... defeated by earthlings... shit..." Nappa said as he fell dead to the ground.

Vegeta looked beyond surprised. "I can't believe you actually managed to kill him! I would had done it myself, since I hated Nappa!"

"You would had killed your own teammate!?" Krillin said.

Vegeta nodded. "Nappa... raped me as a child..."

"Your kidding me... wow." Trunks said.

Vegeta chuckled. "Nah, he didn't. I just hate bald idiots kill him! So I've decided to kill you first, bald one." Vegeta said pointing at Tien.

Tien looked shocked as Vegeta blasted his arm off. "Y-You monster..." Tien said.

Vegeta evilly smiled. "Now I'll tear off that big eye of yours!" Vegeta said as he shoved his fingers and tore off Tien's eye ball from his forehead.

Piccolo began to charge another special beam cannon. "Trunks you have to distract him somehow!"

Vegeta evilly smirked. "Your wasting your time, green man! That dirty trick won't work a second time! Take this! Galick Gun!" Vegeta said as he blew off half of Piccolo's body.

"Piccolo, sir!" Trunks shouted as he ran to him.

Piccolo began crying. "To think... I'll be dying... having trained with Goku's son a long time... goodbye Trunks... please don't die..." Piccolo said as he died.

Trunks began crying. "I'll avenge you, Piccolo sir!"

Vegeta chuckled. "Now only you and that bald midget are left. Well... Time to die... Kakarot!?" Vegeta said as he was surprised to see Goku arrive at the scene.

"Piccolo... Tien... Oh, boy, I'm late! Trunks, my son! Are you okay?" Goku asked as he hugged Trunks.

Vegeta smirked. "That boy of yours managed to find a way to kill Nappa! He was impressive to say the least. Now Kakarot, shall we fight?"

Goku looked angry at Vegeta. "YOUR GONNA PAY FOR KILLING MY FRIENDS!" Goku said as he powered up his ki.

"It's... over ten thousand!? Impossible!" Vegeta yelled as he crushed his scouter to bits in anger. "Still... your no match for me, Kakarot."

Goku smirked. "Trunks... go home now! I'll take care of Vegeta alone."

Trunks didn't want to leave. "I'm not gonna let you fight him alone dad! If we three team up, we can win!"

Goku smiled. "Your brave son, I love that about you."

Trunks smiled. "Dad... let's beat him!"

Goku nodded. "Son... sorry about this..."

"Huh!? Ahh..." Trunks then fell down as Goku knocked him unconscious.

Krillin walked over. "G-Goku... your not seriously gonna fight Vegeta all alone!? Are you?"

Goku nodded. "Vegeta killed Piccolo and Tien, I can't let that go unpunished! Don't worry, I know I can beat him!"

Vegeta chuckled. "Your gonna punish me, are you!? Ha ha... I'd like to see you try!"

Goku looked angry. "You killed my friends, Vegeta! I'm gonna make you regret that!" Goku said as he struck the first blow. "Kio-Ken times two!" Goku shouted as his ki turned red.

Vegeta looked at his scouter in shock. "20000!? No it can't be true!?"

Goku then kicked him in the head and send him flying through a mountain. "I'm only just getting started!" Goku said.

Vegeta looked beyond angry. "THAT'S IT! I'm gonna turn into a great ape and destroy you with this planet!"

"What!? A great ape monster!?" Goku couldn't believe his eyes as he saw Vegeta transformed into a great ape. "So... it was my fault that my grandfather died..."

Great ape Vegeta then began to brutally beat Goku up.

"DESTRUCTO DISK!" Krillin shouted as he attempted to cut Vegeta's tail off, but failed. Then Yajirobe cut Vegeta's tail off by surprise.

Goku smirked. "Yes! Now we can beat him!"

Vegeta grunted. "No... this is all a waste of time... I've lost my tail and now that the Namekian is dead those dragon balls are gone! I'm leaving this planet!"

And so, Vegeta left the Earth. Goku and Krillin then flew to Capsule Corp where Bulma was making a meal to celebrate their reunion and victory. Trunks walked over to Goku with an angry face. "You should had let me help you defeat Vegeta, dad..."

Goku smiled. "Son... some day you'll be the one fighting to save the Earth." Goku said as he hugged his son and kissed Bulma.

Flashback end:

"And that's how we stopped Vegeta from killing us!" Future Trunks said as he looked at everyone.

Goku looked so happy. "Wow, the other me sure must had been so strong!"

Vegeta chuckled. "I was so close to killing you Kakarot... your lucky I didn't see that fat one coming."

Trunks chuckled. "Now let's talk about the fight against Frieza and his crew."
