"No! Let me go!" Gabi thrashed as she was dragged into another room with Rowena and Crowley. "Sammy!"

"You can't do anything for him now, dearie," Rowena purred, shoving her in a seat at a long conference table. "Might as well settle in and-" Before she could continue, Crowley had grabbed her by the throat and shoved her against a wall. "You betrayed me, in my own kingdom," he growled, choking her. "Not yours! His! Hell is his! I'm his. So hurt me and what do you think he'll do to you?"

"Lucifer will never get out of that cell."

"You're willing to stake your life on that? On Sam Winchester?" Crowley released Rowena and she gasped and coughed as she was able to breathe once more. "How long?" Crowley demanded. "How long have you been working for him?"

"Not long. Lucifer came to me in a dream," the witch replied, smirking when she saw the demon's expression. "Not that kind of dream." Gabi was still sitting at the table, tears rolling silently down her cheeks as she listened. She wanted to go help her baby brother, but didn't know what she could possibly do.

"So, you're just gonna let the big strong man boss you around?" Crowley asked. "Whatever happened to the super-duper awesome coven, hashtag girl power?" Rowena scoffed, "Lucifer is no man. He's perfection. Why do you think I let your droogs find me? Lucifer has a plan and-"

"And he's the devil," Gabi snapped angrily, glaring at the witch through her tears. "You say that like it's a bad thing," Rowena grinned. "Oh, I'm a bad thing," Crowley stated. "He's a worse thing. Last time Lucifer went top-side, you know what he wanted? Death. For you. For me. For every human. And every demon."

"He's changed."

"Bullshit!" Gabi cried, standing up. "So... and you're doing all this... why?" Crowley queried. "Out of the goodness of your heart?"

"Don't you be daft," Rowena rolled her eyes. "After Lucifer stops the Darkness, he'll ascend to his throne... in Heaven, and I'll be by his side, a loyal follower."

"A queen?"

"Like it or not, you know I'm right. Lucifer fought the Darkness before, and he won. So... unless you've got the Almighty in your back pocket, I suggest you sit down, shut up, and let him work."

"D!" Gabi threw her arms around her twin's neck. They'd called him and told him to get to the entrance to Hell because there'd been a slight hiccup with the plan. Dean had just barely managed to set the box with the item Crowley had requested inside it before Gabi had attacked him. "Woah there, Brie. Where's Sam?"

"Don't worry about Sam," Crowley replied before Gabi could. "I'm sorry. Have you met me?"

"I mean, Lucifer needs the moose. He's not gonna kill him, probably. You versus the devil... There are easier ways of commiting suicide. We need to focus on Rowena."

"Okay, great. Let's kill her."

"Easier said than done, I'm afraid. And we need Mother to slam the devil back in his hole."

"Well, is she gonna play ball?"

"She doesn't have a choice." The twins watched as Crowley pulled an ancient contraption out of the box Dean had brought. "It's called a witch-catcher. Most of them were destroyed after the Inquisition, but, ah, Billie came through."

"Yeah, she's a peach. What does it do?"

"You're going to love this." Dean and Gabi followed him back to the conference room where they managed to get the witch-catcher around Rowena's neck. "Get this bloody thing off of me!" she roared in outrage. "I would, but this bloody thing makes you my slave," Crowley replied. Rowena scoffed. "Hop, on one foot."

"Please, Fergus. I don't know what kind of Oedipal Fifty Shades you think you're playing at, but if you think for a second-" Rowena cut herself off as she started involuntarily hopping on one foot like her son commanded. Gabi and Dean were staring with identical shocked expressions. "Bullocks," Rowena cursed.

"Alright, let's do this," Dean grinned. Ten minutes later, they'd gathered the spell supplies and had Rowena working at the table. "So, this spell is supposed to slam Lucifer back in the box. How long's this gonna take?"

"About five minutes," Rowena replied. "Unless Sam says yes."

"He wouldn't do that," Gabi protested at the same time Crowley asked, "And if he does?" The witch paused what she was doing briefly to look at them. "If Lucifer finds a vessel, he'll be anchored to Earth. The incantation won't work."

"And then we're screwed," Dean grimaced. Just then, a demon entered the room followed by Cas. "I'm sorry, my Lord," the demon addressed Crowley, "I tried to-"

"Cas?" Gabi interrupted, heart plummeting in her chest. He had to leave; with Lucifer right down the hall, she had no doubt if Cas stayed her nightmares would become a reality. "Oh good, the angel is here," Crowley muttered sarcastically.

"What's happened?" Dean asked Cas, ignoring Crowley's comment. "Amara. She... she's alive. She... she sent this message," Cas said, opening his trench coat and shirt. On his chest, three words were carved: I AM COMING.

"I am coming," Crowley read aloud. "Is that a threat?"

"Or a promise?" Dean added. "Cas, you gotta get out of here," Gabi said. "You-" Before she could continue, they heard Sam's cries from down the hall. "Sam!" Dean yelled. Cas, Dean and Gabi took off down the hall, ignoring Crowley's protest to stay put.

"Hey, ass-butt," Cas yelled to get Lucifer's attention. The devil turned away from pummeling Sam to face Cas and the twins. "Dean, Gabriella, ah, the other one," he said. With a snap of his fingers, the trio were inside the cage with him and Sam. "Welcome to the party."

Behind him, Sam was gasping and choking on his own blood. Dean and Cas prepared to face off against Lucifer, but Gabi was frozen in place. Alarms were going off in her head with Cas and Lucifer in the same space. "Scared?" Lucifer asked. "Not even a little," Dean replied.

Cas drew his angel blade, preparing to fight. "Ah, ah, ah... moments like this, it's all about ambiance," Lucifer said. He snapped his fingers and music started to play from an unseen source. Cas lunged at him, and Lucifer took the opportunity to talk to him quietly. Dean had rushed to Sam's side, but Gabi was still frozen in place, staring in terror at Cas and Lucifer.

"Are you okay?" Dean asked his brother. "Yeah," Sam replied. Lucifer was still speaking softly to Cas, punching him a moment later when he continued to struggle. "We can't win," Sam gasped. "We don't have to win," Dean told him. "We've just gotta last a few minutes." Lucifer continued punching Cas and Gabi flinched with each hit.

Sam and Dean took over fighting Lucifer and Gabi finally managed to get her feet to move, rushing over to help Cas to his feet. "Cas, you can't listen to him," she whispered. "Whatever he's telling you, it's not the way." He stared at her for a moment, before rushing over to aid Sam and Dean.

Swallowing hard, Gabi joined in the fight as well. Lucifer was easily overpowering all of them, knocking them all away. Gabi, Sam, and Cas ended up on the floor of the cage while Lucifer grabbed Dean by the neck and slammed him against the bars. Dean grimaced as he was lifted into the air.

"Alright Sam, I'm gonna make this real easy for you," Lucifer addressed the youngest Winchester. "You say the magic word or your brother dies... and we both know you won't let that happen."

"Cas, no," Gabi tried to protest, but he didn't listen, charging at the devil once more. Lucifer let go of Dean, going back to beating on Cas. He stepped on Cas' angel blade, smirking down at him. "So, last words..."

There was a bright flash of light, and the Winchesters all covered their eyes. When the light faded, Lucifer was gone, leaving them and Cas in the cage. Sam and Dean got painfully to their feet, but Gabi stayed where she was, staring fearfully at Cas. The angel got to his feet, making his way over to her and holding out a hand to help her up. She didn't move for a moment, and then hesitantly reached out and took the proffered hand.

Together, the four of them limped out to where Crowley and Rowena were waiting. "You're welcome... anyone?" the witch looked around at them. "Bite me," Dean quipped. "I can make her do that," Crowley said. "So what now?" Sam asked. "About the Darkness?" the demon shot back. "No clue."

"We'll figure it out," Dean said. "Or die screaming," Rowena added. Gabi subtly tried pulling her hand away from Cas, but he just tightened his grip, giving her a threatening glance that went unnoticed by the others. "This has been a horrible train wreck, so we're done," Crowley continued. "Team up over."

"What about her?" Sam motioned to Rowena. "She stays. The rest of you lot... get the hell out of Hell."

"You alright?" Dean addressed Cas as they emerged into the alleyway beside the Impala. He still hadn't let up his vice-like grip on Gabi's hand; a subtle reminder to stay silent about what she knew. "I think so. I will be," Cas replied. Gabi bit her lip, looking over at the angel. "You want me to give you a lift?" Dean offered.

"No, you three go on ahead. I'll catch up."

"Okay."

Cas let go of Gabi's hand, allowing her to climb into the Impala with her brothers. "Is he alright?" Sam asked once they had climbed into their respective places. "Tough day," Dean supplied. "Yeah. Tell me about it," Sam agreed, turning around in his seat to look at Gabi. "Everything alright, Gabs?" She nodded, taking a shaky breath. "Shouldn't we be asking you that question? You good?"

"I don't know. I mean what if Lucifer was telling the truth, you know, what if he's the only..."

"No, dude," Dean interrupted, "the Darkness is bad. Her and the devil, that's a nightmare." In the backseat, Gabi gave the subtlest flinch at the words, because Dean didn't know just how right he was. The Darkness and the devil was a nightmare; her nightmare, and it seemed like it was just starting to come true.
