So that's how Julianna found herself in the courtyard to battle Nemona.

"Oh, Dios Mio you have no idea how excited I've been for this battle all day"

"Oh, well that's great I'm definitely going to enjoy this more than the Orthworm fight" Julianna laughed.

"I know I'm so mad at Arven if I could battle him right now I would"

"But I have you to battle first and I'm sure you'll be much more of a challenge now let's get battling!" Nemona shouted in excitement.

"Passimian let's do this!"

"Toedscool Vamos!"

"Mud Shot!"

"Dodge it with Trailblaze!" Passimian nimbly jumped out of the way with Trailblaze, its speed increasing when it smacked Toedscool in the bulb.

"Now use Take Down!"

"Toedscool take it!" Toedscool braced as it took the full brunt of the Take Down.

"Supersonic!" Toedscool fired rings of sonic waves confusing the Passimian.

"Mega Drain!" well Passimian was confused Toedscool was able to regain some of its health with Mega Drain.

"Mega Drain again!"

"Counter with U-Turn!" snapping out of its confusion Passimian dodged the green energy beam smacking Toedscool and switching out to Floragato.

"Supersonic!"

"U-Turn again!" Florigato dodged the Supersonic switching out back to Passimian.

"Supersonic!"

"Dode it and then Rock Smash!" Passimian leaped over the Supersonic and smashed into Toedscool with Rock Smash.

Toedscool went flying back knocked out from the attack.

"Charcadet Vamos!" Charcadet landed on the field ready to face Passimian.

"Lava Plume!"

"Take it then Trailblaze!" Passiamian took the Lava Plume sustaining heavy damage, leaping at Charcadet to raise its speed with Trailblaze.

"Now use U-Turn!" Passiamian attacked first with its raised speed swapping out with U-Turn for Pawmo.

"Lave Plume!"

"Counter with Dig!" Pawmo dug underground with dig avoiding the Lava Plume.

Pawmo burst out of the ground smacking Charcadet with Dig.

"Will-O-Wisp!" as Pawmo resurfaced Charcadet struck with Will-O-Wisp burning the Pawmot.

"Use Spark!" Pawmo shot forward with Spark smacking into Charcadet.

"Use Spark again!"

"Obscure with Clear Smog!" the thick white smoke created by Clear Smog obscured Pawmo's Spark.

"Clear the smog with Arm Thrust!" Pawmo rapidly thrust its arms rapidly clearing the battlefield.

"Lave Plume!"

"Dig again!" this time Julianna had a plan to counter it.

"Fire Spin on the ground!" Charcadet lit the ground with Fire Spin when Pawmo came up again it got caught in the flames missing Charcadet with the Dig attack.

"Lave Plum!"

"Thunder Wave!" Pawmo fired a ring of electricity before it went down to Lava Plume paralyzing Charcadet.

"Vivillon let's do this!"

"Fire Spin!"

"Dodge it then Substitute!" Vivillon flew around the Fire Spin creating a copy of itself with Substitute.

"Lava Plum!" the Lava Plum hit the copy of Vivillon breaking it.

"Quiver Dance!" Vivillons body began glowing white as it lightly danced.

"Now Air Cutter!"

"Lava Plum!" the boosted Air Cutter cut through the Lave Plum hitting Charcadet for heavy damage.

"Finish it with one more Air Cutter!"

Vivillon fired another Air Cutter Charcadet tried to dodge but was paralyzed getting smashed by another flurry of air Charcadet was knocked out.

"Clodsire Vamos!" Clodsire landed with a thud.

"Poison Tail!"

"Vivillon Psybeam on the ground!" Vivillon fired a Paybeam on the ground blocking Clodsire's Poison Tail.

"Awesome now substitute again!"

"Poison Jab!"

"Quiver Dance!" the Poison Jab broke the substitute well Vivillon got another Quiver Dance for free.

"Air Cutter!"

"Take it then Poison Tail!" Clodsire bulked threw the Air Cutter making Vivillon with Poison Tail at least now Vivillon shouldn't have enough health to make a substitute.

"Poison Jab!"

"Use Psybeam!" Psybeam and Poison Jab collided in a blast of pink and purple, and Clodsire went flying back knocked out.

"Quaxwell Vamos!" Quaxwell flicked his hair back ready to face his opponent.

"Use Psybeam!"

"Aqua Cutter!" Quaxwell cut through the Psybeam without taking any damage.

"Use Air Cutter!"

"Aqua Jet!" Quaxwell flew behind the Air Cutter with Aqua Jet turning around and smashing Vivillon in the back.

Vivillon landed on the ground and fainted.

"Alright, then Floragato let's do this!"

"Use Seed Bomb!"

"Aqua Jet!" Quaxwell danced around the blast of seeds ready to attack Floragato.

"Counter with Quick Attack!" Floragato slammed into Quaxwell each sent flying back to the edge of the battlefield.

"Wing Attack!"

"Block it with Shadow Claw!" Shadow Claw was able to overpower Wing Attack knocking Quaxwell off balance.

"Now get up close and personal with Seed Bomb!" Quaxwell was hit in the chest with a point-blank Seed Bomb.

Quaxwell staggered to his feet letting out a low hissing noise from the chest pain.

"Aqua Jet!"

"Floragato take the hit!" Floragato puffed out its chest well Quaxwell's Aqua Jet pushed it backward.

"Now grab it" Floragato gripped onto Quaxwell's wings keeping him from escaping.

"Now finish it off with one more Seed Bomb!" Floragato fired another Seed Bomb straight at Quaxwell. Julianna cringed at the honk of pain from Tulio as he was knocked out cold.

"Muchas gracias Julianna that was a blast"

"Oh I don't know about that I didn't really do that good against you" Julianna replied helping Quaxwell off the ground.

"Are you kidding! Don't cut yourself short Julianna theirs a lot of people who wouldn't be able to knock out any of my Pokémon let alone two of them"

"Well I guess that means I just have to do some more training"

"Ese es el espíritu Julianna" Nemona shook Julianna's hand vigorously.

"Now I need to get going there was a report of a wild Pokémon breaking through the fencing and they wanted me to check it out for them"

"Alright then I'm going to go heal my team then"

"Alright then see later Julianna!"

Something didn't sit right with Julianna after the battle.

She knew realistically she wouldn't beat Nemona someone who has had years to train so even though these were new Pokémon her training and discipline were far better than Julianna's.

But that still didn't make Julianna feel any better about her loss.

This wasn't here team's fault they had thought the best they could for their own skill level.

But their skill level wasn't good enough.

Because Julianna hadn't trained them well enough

Julianna's own skill level wasn't good enough.

She had failed them as a trainer.

No, no, no, not now.

Now wasn't the time for Julianna's mind to start conjuring up every negative thought that her mind could conjure up.

She looked down at her team's Pokeballs in her hands.

Every time they battle they give it all they've got.

And I'll give it all I've got.

Julianna needed to train harder no needed to be stronger for her team's sake the for her own sake.

She needed to train for when she battled Nemona the next Team Star battle the Next gym battle.

Julianna needed to give all she had.

Serious Training attempt number three and hopefully the final attempt.

Getting Tauros to listen to him by battling he had his entire team ready to battle.

He wasn't going to have another incident like that with Julianna that was an absolute embracement he was going to make sure Taros listened to him no matter what.

Florian threw Tauros out of its Pokeball ready to go before Tauros could attack.

"Crocalor use Yawn!" Tauros ran to dodge the white bubbles only to run right into Nacli and Smoliv.

"Use Helping Hand and Headbutt!" Nacli smacked Tauros with a boosted Headbutt knocking Tauros back into Crocalor.

"Use Yawn again!" Tauros Double Kicked the bubbles giving Florian another opportunity to strike.

"Smackdown! Round! and Mega Drain!" The tri of attacks knocked Tauros to the ground.

"Again!" Tauros boosted its speed with Flame Charge avoiding the attacks.

"Nacli Iron Defense!" Nacli jumped in the way of Tauros bulking through the Flame Charge with its boosted defense.

"Smoliv use Sweet Scent!" Smoliv obscured the battlefield with a cloud of pink mist.

Tauros began going on another rampage blinding through the mist with Flame Charge and Headbutt.

Florian saw an opportunity to defeat Tauros.

"Aquí! aquí!" Florian shouted causing Tauros to charge directly at him.

Florian rolled out of the way well Tauros smashed into a tree behind him.

"Alright, now Crocalor use Yawn!" with Tauros's horns now locked in the tree Crocalor was able to hit its yawn putting Tauros to sleep.

Once Tauros woke up Florian brought out his Pokeball.

"Now this is why I'm your trainer you may be strong but me and your Teammates are stronger. Got that?" Tauros just snorted in response trying to get himself unstuck until Florian returned him to the Pokeball.

"Well, good job guys way to show Tauros who's-?" two glowing blue lights cut Florian off.

Nacli and Smoliv were both evolving at the same time.

With two bursts of light Dolliv and Naclstack greeted Florian.

"Oh my god, finally I'm so proud of you guys!" Salada made a grunting noise stomping her feet and rubbing up against Florian and spreading salt around his legs.

Aceituna took a look at Naclstack and screamed. Then looked down at her new hands. Then passed out.

Even evolving didn't mean Aceituna's fearfulness was gone. Clearly, it was a part of her personality she would carry with her.

At least Salada's general docile and easygoing attitude stayed with her she would be great with performing contests.

Plus she should have learned a new move when evolving.

"Salada, do you want to use your new move?" Florian held out a stick.

"Nacl-stack!" Naclstack nodded.

"Alright then use Salt Cure!"

Naclstack fired a glob of salt on the stick causing it to disintegrate.

"Alright fucking awesome!" his team was finally coming together.

This was not what Julianna meant when she said she wanted to train.

Who's idea was this anyway?

Oh right, it was her idea. crawling on top of a wall to spy on Team Star's Fire Crew.

She needed to set a mental reminder to stick to normal training exercises.

Well, she was here right now and the whole point of this was to get information on the Schedar Squad and that's what she was going to do.

The first step was to find the Squad Boss. Given how Giacomo stood out amongst the grunts they shouldn't be too hard to spot.

She was right the Squad Boss was easy to spot amongst the crowd.

"Ay, dios mío that's who I'm up against?" Julianna cursed to herself.

The girl Julianna was staring at gave the look that she could easily dominate Julianna without even breaking a sweat.

The girl's flame boots alone went up to her knees and her clothing gave her the vibe that she didn't give a shit about what Julianna thought.

The girl walked around the base stomping around in her boots that would look comical if it weren't for the constant scowl on the girl's face.

Julianna sent a picture of the photo to Cassiopeia to get information on who it was.

"Mela she is a very aggressive person. Used to be one of the most popular girls in school until she completely changed her look after some other girls bullied her out of jealousy"

Mela sent out an Armarouge and Ceruledge to battle with the grunts well she pulled out her phone to talk to someone.

Over the sound of the grunts battle, Julianna couldn't make out what Mela was saying but judging from her even more sour expression.

At some point, Mela scoffed tossing her hair back in annoyance at whoever was on the other side.

Shit, what if she's talking about me.

Fuck I don't stand a chance against her, do I?

Julianna didn't even realize that Charcadet was out of his Pokeball.

"Oh, hey Rebelde," Julianna said in surprise.

What if he's not listening because he doesn't like me as a trainer again?

Charcadet wasn't rebelling or anything as she feared he just watched his evolved forums battle.

Oh right of course he would be interested in seeing his future forum in front of him. Speaking of which Julianna should really look into which forum Rebelde should choose he probably had enough battle experience to start considering getting one of the armor sets to evolve.

Julianna looked down at her contact list the name Ash Ketchum sticking out below Cassiopeias.

I could just call him for help.

No.

No Julianna was stronger than that how would she ever beat Nemona if she kept using other people to fight her battles for her?

She would never become a strong trainer unless she battled herself she needed to get stronger.

Not now though she needed a plan to make sure that this confrontation with Mela went as smoothly as possible.

But first, she needed to get off this wall before anybody noticed her up here.

1-Use Koraidon's new high jump ability to launch me into the base.

2-Saftly land on Clodsire.

3-Quickly take out any grunts with Clodsire and Toedscool before they can pose a problem.

4-Use all my team members against Mela and her weird sentient car thing.

5-Victory?

That was the plan Julianna had managed to come up with and according to Florian, it sounded better than anything he could come up with so it was the plan she was sticking with.

Julianna needed to get to bed anyways she had been up stressing out about her plan for too long.

Right now the best thing she could do was to get some sleep battling a Team Star boss without a clear mind was an even stupider idea.

She'd do that first thing in the morning.

As she nodded off to sleep Julianna could at least feel confident about her battle with Mela tomorrow.

She had a plan and she would follow through with it and she would win.

Her team would give it all they've got.

And she would give all she had.

They'd both give it all they've got.

So basically this chapter is basically Julianna and Florian need to talk to someone about their problems instead of digging themselves into deeper holes by trying to solve them themselves.

The next Chapter continues the Ash and Goh Storyline I'll try to get it out faster than this one that I was procrastinating on.
