Jayne could sense she meant it. "Well I mean if you need a good lawyer then I'm definitely your girl."

Robert heard the comment as he approached the door. "Must run in the family." Robert could help but grin hearing that his daughter had taken after him.

Jaynie looked up at him. "You are lawyer too? I wanted to be a police officer but I didn't want to have to arrest a family member." Jaynie told them both truthfully. It was the only reason she went into law instead.

Holly's face lit up, she gave Robert a surprised look then looked back at Jaynie. "It really must run in the family, Robert was the best police commissioner the town we live in has ever known. Very by the book and fair."

Robert chuckled while he walked over, reaching out for Holly's hand. "She a bit biased but I did my best. I bet you would have been great at it."

Jaynie smiled at the two of them, she could see the love they share and to think she came from that made her feel a little bit better right now. "I would have tried but like I said I know I would have had to arrest my family and I wouldn't have wanted to do that. I never represented them either. I didn't want to."

Robert nodded, understanding exactly where she was coming from. "You sound like you have a great head on your shoulders. I hope you do give us a chance to get to know you." Robert spoke sincerely. He really wanted to get to know her.

Jaynie nodded at Robert, glancing at Holly before she looked up at him. "Holly invited me to come to Port Charles, get to know all of you. I didn't want to inrude but I've never had a mum and I would like to get to know my biological father."

Holly smiled up at Robert, she was beaming. "Doesn't that sound wonderful?"

Holly's smile was infectious, Robert couldn't help but smile. It was made brighter by the fact that his daughter wanted to get to know him and Holly. "It's the best. You have a whole family to meet in Port Charles. You have a sister that lives in California, I'm sure she will want to meet you too."

"How many children do you two have?" Jayne asked them, wondering how many siblings she had in total.

"Three including you." Holly told her. "Robin is Robert's with his first wife but I love her as if she were my own. Always have and always will. Ethan is your twin. You also have two nieces and a nephew."

"I went from being an only child to one of three and an aunt. No kids on my end. I have had relationships, a couple of serious ones but in the end they just never felt right." Jayne gave a shrug. It's not that she didn't want to find love, it just hadn't happened.

"Sometimes it takes a while to get it right but once you do, you would give up anything and everything to have that love again." Robert's eyes never left Holly.

Holly looked up at him, their connection was so strong and she loved that. "Why don't we get out of here. We have a hotel room for the night, we can get you one too." Holly offered Jayne.

Jayne waved her hand. "No thanks, I can get one for the night."

"Well then at least let us pay for your ticket to Port Charles?" Robert knew that he wanted to do something for her and that Holly did too.

Jayne looked at Holly then back at Robert, they really were trying to help her out already. "Deal." Jayne closed up her suitcase. She packed up a few more things before the three of them started to head out.

"I need to thank Barry for his help before we go." Holly told both of them, she also wanted Barry to know she wasn't mad at him.

Robert nodded. "I think we all need to."

Barry was standing not too far off from the door. Holly went up and gave him a huge hug. "Thank you so much for all your help, I'm sorry for being so cold at first I just didn't know what you knew." She whispered to him.

"Take care of yourself, you know I've always got you. Always." Barry whispered to her then shook Robert's hand and gave Jayne a hug. "They're good people, you're going to love them." Barry whispered to Jayne.

Jayne smiled at Barry. "I'll keep in touch." Robert shook Barry's hand before the three of them left and headed to the hotel, needing to get some food and rest before their trip back home. Jayne was nervous about a completely new life but excited too and even more excited to get to know her new family. Robert and Holly were so ecstatic that they not only found their daughter but they were actually going to have a chance to get to know her. Holly thought it was so remarkable how much she seemed to have taken after Robert but she was definitely her own person and she was already so proud of her.
