"You'll never take me alive!"

Cedric cried, sprinting from the gardens of the Castle to a certain spot where he can find a place to hide. The afternoon was just beginning, but so was Cedric's misfortune

"Ceedric!" a certain voice from ahead called up to him "Come back here now!"

"Nooo… I have uh.. motion sickness!" he yelled back

"Stop kidding around and just come here!" the voice echoed once again

Now as desperate as ever, Cedric is now frantically searching for a place to hide from this certain mad person. Luckily, a blonde prince caught his eye just sitting at a ledge with his dog

"James, James!" The blonde prince turned to the voice to see a disgruntled and disheveled Sorcerer who looked a bit exhausted

"How's the run, Ced?" James hollered at him but Cedric was too frantic to notice

"Listen…" Cedric was catching his breath while his eyes roamed for a certain princess, making sure she wasn't around "Do you know a perfect spot to hide"

"A perfect spot to hide?" his eyebrows raised hearing this "For what?"

"Look, a person is after me" His voice was shaking, as if he was running from a nightmare or some sort

"After you? Who might this be?" James asked back

"Just please help me ou–"

Before the sorcerer could finish, a certain figure from afar made him freeze on the spot

"Ceeedriccc!" the voice from a distance called out

Now out of choices, Cedric jumped on a nearby bushel of grass without hesitation, just fitting to hide his body from the open. James couldn't help but chuckle upon seeing this, especially upon finally seeing the person that Cedric is running from.

"Hey James" Princess Sofia greeted casually "Have you seen Mr. Ceedric around here?"

"Cedric? Nah, haven't seen that feller around here anywhere" James bluffed. A way of looking out for his brother from another mother

But before he could do so, a certain blonde princess just happened to be strolling around behind a bush, giving away his full position and exposed to her

"Cedric?" Amber called out which Sofia immediately turned to. The elder princess made her way to the crouching and hiding Sorcerer "You creep, what are you hiding here for?"

"Oh is he there?" Sofia's eyes narrowed upon hearing this. And without hesitation, she lifted the grass bush revealing no other than the man himself with a goofy smile on

"Uhhh.. hi?" the only thing that came from his mouth

Sofia's hands rested on her hips as she gave him a scolding expression, very similar to a look a mother would give her child for acting unruly or doing something mischievous. Her left eyebrow raised and her expression was completely unimpressed

Quickly, Cedric was about to stand and escape her yet again, but before he could move another muscle, Sofia's hand already found it's way to his ear to pull him with her

"S-Sofia it hurts.." Cedric groaned, currently being dragged by the princess

"Then stop running away!" Sofia fumed and nagged, her eyebrows furrowing to each other as she forcefully brought him with her "You promised it would be this week."

The twins who witnessed the whole thing couldn't help but be surprised of this whole scenery. They knew of how close the two were, but not to the point of Sofia acting like his mother. With this, Amber got curious

"What did he do this time, Sofia?" she asked her sister, walking side by them

"Mr. Ceedric hasn't done anything… yet probably. It's just, he's supposed to have his haircut but then he ran away and tried to escape"

"Hah, everything makes sense now then" Amber eyed Cedric who looked completely defeated not even bothering to respond to her gaze

"We have a royal Barber, Sofia. Why can't you just let them handle this?" James suggested, also walking with them "I have my trims everyday actually with them. They are so good"

"No" Sofia responded without hesitation "Cedric's hair is my responsibility to cut" her words didn't have any malice in it

"But why?" Amber asked

"Because.. it is how it is.." her eyes wandered the surroundings, finally spotting the empty chair with the barber gown "Cedric's hair is mine and mine alone to cut.."

Upon finally reaching the empty chair and the blanket for barbers, Cedric tried to pull a fast one and leave but James was quick to hold him in place.

"I think it's best if you just went along with it for now" The blonde prince winked as Sofia puts on the gown around Cedric

"Hah, traitor.." Cedric reprimanded James with a furious expression "After all those times I let you ride my machine.."

"Calm down, Cedric" Amber rolled her eyes as she sat on a corner to watch the whole thing "Oh this is gonna be oh-so entertaining!" she takes out her fan to fan herself

Sofia prepared the scissors and the comb while slowly caressing his silky jet black hair. The sound of the snips from the scissors made Cedric jump from his seat, but as always, Sofia's arm has managed to keep him in place. Despite her graceful and adorable demeanor, the girl was very strong and athletic indeed

Cedric stood no chance.

"Just settle down I said!" Sofia frantically grunted which made her arm tighten even more on his chest

After finally realizing there is just no point struggling now, Cedric decided to just calm down and let things happen. His hair will probably look terrible for a couple of weeks – and with the twins watching too, his day couldn't possibly go worse

"Don't worry,. I will take care of you~" a soft whisper was heard from behind. He then felt a gentle caress from Sofia with her hand slowly muffling his hair

"I absolutely love your fluffy hair, I wish my children in the future can have them.."

"Huh?"

"Nothing." Sofia looked away

Somehow, Cedric felt a certain eerie feeling with what Sofia said. He didn't hear much of it unfortunately, but it seemed important to overlook

The girl now started to trim his hair as a frown landed on his lips. He could hear the snip snaps of the scissors from behind as strands of his hair started falling to the ground. His hair has indeed grown longer since the last time and he just noticed it.

Perhaps he really did need a haircut… and Sofia was just looking out for him..

Sofia started to cut his front hair as she moved in front of him. He could see her face and couldn't help but notice how engrossed she is with what she's doing. The girl doesn't have cutting hair experience whatsoever, but she was still doing her best regardless

She really does go overboard sometimes especially for his sake. The thought of this made Cedric chuckle slightly.

"This girl, I swear…" a smile forms on his lips

"Aha-ha!"

A sudden burst of merriment echoed in the garden. And just as lively as the cheers, Cedric's expression said otherwise. Currently holding the mirror to himself and seeing his new haircut, he definitely was horrified

"It fits you just well, Cedric" the blonde princess couldn't even contain her mockery upon seeing his new haircut

"You look handsome, Cedric" James added as he continued his laughing

Cedric sighed, putting the mirror back to it's place. Suddenly, a hand rests on his shoulder from behind. It was Sofia with her usual kind and gentle smile on

"Don't worry, Mr. Ceedric. You look as handsome as oh-so-ever!" her sky blue eyes managed to land an impression on him – her kind words and her smile as sweet as honey dew was enough for him to lose all uncertainties

With this, Cedric nodded at her

"Thank you, Princess Sofia.."
