Chapter 17 (Match)

*Team Spirit vs Atlantis Force*

The last two matches were not for the titles, but for chances at the titles. This one was for the tag team titles. Team Spirit did their usual thing with their belts in hand. They blew kisses at the fans and even let one take a selfie with them holding their belts. They flipped into the ring showing off their athletic ability. They gave their belts to the ref and awaited their opponents.

The titantron became blue and Atlantis Force emerged from the stage. Amazon Aqua flexed while Calypso stretched. These two followed into the ring where Team Spirit stood. Before the match could start, Starla stood in the ring while Isebella stood at the ringpost.

"You ready?" Isebella asked.

"Born ready." Starla said.

"Now, remember. Calypso is flexible, but so are we. We've got her by the numbers here, but Amazon Aqua is a concern. So we've got to try to keep her from getting tagged in."

Starla nodded, but when she turned around, she was worred as she saw Amazon Aqua in the ring while Calypso was at ringside.

"And what if Aqua is already here?" Starla asked.

"Then we should fight smart." Isebella said. "Try to use her size against her."

DING-DING!

Starla hopped left and right indicating she would try to go in either direction. Aqua took the initiative and went to grab her. Starla jumped aside and ran to the ropes. She rebounded and went for a leg tackle from behind. Unfortunately, Aqua spread her legs letting Starla slide through.

Amazon Aqua lifted Starla up from the ground and pulled it back down over her knee for a backbreaker. With Starla on the ground, Amazon Aqua picked her up only to drop her in a powerbomb. She dragged her to her corner and tagged Calypso in.

The dancer climbed to the top rope while Amazon Aqua lifted Starla up in a powerbomb position again. Calypso launched herself to spear Starla off of Aqua's shoulder. They both crashed into the ring while Amazon Aqua went ringside and Isebella reached out urging her partner to tag her in.

Calypso got on Starla's back and locked her in a camel clutch. Starla winced at the pain to her back and neck. She then realized that she was being held near the ropes. She reached her feet back and hooked it. The referee saw it and made Calypso let go. Starla slowly got back up while Calypso readied to charge. The island girl ran straight for Starla to deliver a kick, but she ducked out of the way and countered with a double kick. Starla regained her footing and ran to her corner and tagged Isebella in.

Isebella jumped up the top rope and leaped off hitting Calypso with a dropkick. Amazon Aqua tried to tag herself in, but Isebella dragged Calypso to the center of the ring and hit her with a backflip slam. That's when she tried to pin her.

1… 2…

Calypso kicked out. Not only that, but when she did, she wrapped her legs around Isebella and held her for a headscissor hold. Isebella flipped herself out of the hold while Calypso went to stand on her hands. She spun herself catching Isebella by surprise with a series of spinning kicks from her handstand. She ended it by wrapping her legs around her head again and throwing her in a hurricarana hooking both her legs for the pin.

1… 2…

Isebella kicked out of it. Calypso danced her way to her corner and tagged Amazon Aqua in. The Queen of the Sea marched in and picked Isebella up preparing to powerbomb her, but Starla ran out of the ropes and kicked Aqua in the chest making her drop Isebella. The two girls continuously barraged the amazon with kicks to her chest and head.

The two then decided to perform their finishing move. They bounced off the ropes and hit Amazon Aqua with their double dropkick attack… only Amazon Aqua didn't fall back. Instead, she brushed her face stunning the girls. They ran back to deliver another one, but before they could jump, Amazon Aqua clotheslined them both with both her arms.

Remembering that Isebella was the legal one, Amazon Aqua rolled Starla out of the ring. She then lifted Isebella up in position for a piledriver. Calypso climbed up the corner and leaped off. She landed both her feet on top of Isebella's while Amazon Aqua dropped her in a piledriver. Amazon Aqua rolled her up for the pin.

1… 2… 3!

DING-DING!

"And what a match, everyone! Like that, Atlantis Force has earned their title opportunity in the upcoming pay-per-view! Will they win this next one like before or will Team Spirit pull off a big win in their first title defense?"

The teens met up with each other in the ring helping each other up. They then turned to see Aqua and Calypso extending their hands.

"Good match." Calypso said.

Team Spirit looked at each other and exchanged smiles. They returned the handshakes.

"I guess we'll see you at the pay-per-view." Starla said.

"But next time, we'll pin the both of you to the ground." Isebella said with a confident grin.

"Good luck with that, kids." Aqua returned

The four of them walked out of the ring. Now, came the main event of the evening.

*Queen Bee vs Thunder Mana*

Queen Bee took a deep breath before making her way to the ring. On her way, she kept thinking about how tough of a match this would be. She did have a tough time with N-Bomb, but Thunder Mana was different. She was a great champion in another league. But still, it meant she would get a good challenge.

As for Thunder Mana, she made her own entrance. She kept examining Queen Bee scouting her trying to think of a way to beat her. Either way, both knew that in this match, neither party would make it out completely unharmed.

"It's a match that we've all anticipated, folks! The mighty Thunder Mana is challenging our ace and champion, Queen Bee, for the chance for the Xtrema Championship! If she pulls off a win, then they're gonna mix it up in the pay-per-view! Let's see who wins!"

DING-DING!

The two of them circled around each other waiting for the chance to strike. They grabbed each others' arms and struggled to get the advantage. Eventually, Queen Bee managed to pull Thunder Mana aside and throw her to the ropes. She bounced off and landed stomach-first right into Queen Bee's knee. Thunder Mana countered it by grabbing onto Bee's waist and throwing her in a suplex.

Queen Bee got back up to face her opponent, who immediately picked her up and squeezed her in a bearhug. Queen Bee gasped as her torso was being squeezed.

"Queen Bee, do you give up?" the referee asked.

"No!" Queen Bee replied. On instinct, she grabbed Thunder Mana's head and slammed her forehead into it. Surprisingly, Mana didn't respond. She tried again, but once more, no response. She did it one last time, and this time, Mana loosened her hold just enough for Queen Bee to escape. She dropped to the floor and sent a strong uppercut to her opponent. Thunder Mana fell to the ground and Queen Bee went for the pin.

1… 2…

Thunder Mana kicked out. Queen Bee lifted her up and threw her to the ropes. She aimed for another knee strike, but Mana saw it coming and dashed behind Queen Bee to deliver a German suplex. She held Queen Bee down on the mat for the referee.

1… 2…

Queen Bee manged to kick out. She got back up on her feet and went for Thunder Mana. The GWM star charged too. The two of them locked hands into a test of strength. Both women weren't giving an inch.

Eventually, Queen Bee released her hold swatting Mana's hands away. She then sent a kick to Thunder Mana's stomach and dropped her in a DDT. She hooked her legs for the pin.

1… 2…

Like before, Thunder Mana kicked out. Queen Bee then decided to go for her finishing move. She grabbed Thunder Mana's legs and flipped her over with her signature sharpshooter. Mana gasped in pain as her legs and back were being strained. She slowly began to crawl to the ropes. Queen Bee tightened the hold.

"Thunder Mana, do you give up?" the referee asked.

"No!"

Thunder Mana reached her hand out and managed to grip onto the ropes. After the count of four, Queen Bee released the hold and waited for Thunder Mana to get back up on her feet.

"Not half bad." Queen Bee said. "Not a lot of people could break out of my sharpshooter like that."

"Well, I'm not most people." Thunder Mana said.

The two charged at each other again, and this time, Thunder Mana impacted Queen Bee's stomach with a very strong spear. As they both fell to the mat, Mana hooked Bee's leg.

1… 2…

Queen Bee kicked out. Thunder Mana then picked her up and slammed her over her knee. She kept her there and pushed her head and legs further down. This pendulum backbreaker stretch is well known as one of Thunder Mana's most powerful moves.

"Give up?" the referee asked.

"NO!" Queen Bee shouted. She then balled up her fist and sent a strong punch to Thunder Mana's face. She rolled off of her knee and stood back up tending to her back.

As Thunder Mana cleared up her face, Queen Bee sent a strong dropkick right down Mana's leg making her fall to one knee. Queen Bee then kicked Mana with a shining wizard. Seeing her chance, Queen Bee climbed up the top turnbuckle and jumped off of it. However, Mana managed to counter it by catching Queen Bee with her legs. She kept her there with a strong bodyscissors.

"Give up?" the referee asked the ace again.

"Never!"

Queen Bee managed to grab onto Mana's shoulders. With a lot of her strength, Queen Bee got back up to her feet and used the hold to lift Thunder Mana from the mat.

"What are you doing?" Thunder Mana asked.

"Just giving you a ride downtown!"

Queen Bee dropped down slamming Thunder Mana's back straight onto the mat. The GWM star gasped as she released Queen Bee. Finally free, Queen Bee used the ropes to get herself back on her feet. She took a moment to catch her breath. That's when she noticed the crowd. All of her fans were shouting and yelling at her to turn around. Queen Bee looked back and was confused at the sight.

A large woman in a black bodysuit and a black mask covering her whole face stood there above Thunder Mana's body. The mysterious woman jumped up and landed on Thunder Mana with a leg drop. The referee saw it and went to call the bell while the masked woman was leaving.

"Wait, ref, don't!" Queen Bee yelled. "I don't know who that woman was! She's not with me!"

"I don't have a choice." The referee argued before giving the signal. The sound of the bell made the fans gasp and boo at once.

DING-DING!

"Well, that certainly came out of nowhere. Right at the climax of the match, a myserious woman suddenly appeared and attacked Thunder Mana. Because of that interference, it appears that Thunder Mana has won by disqualification! And it doesn't sound like the fans were happy about that!"

Thunder Mana managed to stand back up and hear the fans. She had a mixture of worry and surprise. She then turned to where Queen Bee was fuming.

"Mana!" Queen Bee called out. "Did you set that up?"

"What? No!" Thunder Mana defended.

"DON'T LIE TO ME!" Queen Bee yelled as she sent a clothesline so hard, it sent Thunder Mana out of the ring.

Queen Bee jumped out of the ring and cleared off the announcer's table. She then lifted Thunder Mana up in a fireman's carry and dropped her in a powerbomb that shattered the table into pieces. Thunder Mana was knocked into unconsciousness while Queen Bee slowly got back up and walked past the stunned crowd as the show ended.

Sayuri Rogue was stunned too as she watched from the skybox above. "What was that?"

"Well…" Ryuji Hashimoto answered, "It appears that someone… interfered."

"I know what just happened." Sayuri said. "Find out who that masked woman was ASAP!"

"Ma'am, with all due respect, but that's asking for a miracle." Ryuji said. "For all we know, it was probably some masked fan who wanted a spot in the light."

"Well, they're about to learn not to cross me. In the meantime, tell Queen Bee and Thunder Mana I'd like a word with them in the morning to discuss this. And start working on the promotional poster for our upcoming pay-per-view."

"Yes, ma'am. Just one thing. What should we call our first pay-per-view?"

Sayuri thought hard for a minute and stood up in confidence. "Let's call it… Olympia."

Author's Note: And that's the match night, everyone. I don't know if I did my best for the tag team match, but I'm pretty sure I did wonderfully on the main event. Now, before I get started on the plot, I'd like to take a break for a certain special I'm planning. I'll tell you more later. For now, tell me what you think and how excited are you for the upcoming Olympia PPV.

Any and all comments are welcome.
