Chapter 24 (Olympia)

Xtrema had rented out a much bigger stadium because the audience attendance was double than the usual. The cheers could be heard from outside. The announcer got in her seat and began her declaration.

"Welcome, everyone, to the first ever Xtrema PPV, Olympia! Yes, we've all been building up to this very night, weren't we? We've all been waiting for these matches, and we're all certain they won't disappoint! Now, let's see what we came for!"

*Platinum Mask vs Black Swan*

When Elodie Silverwind finished her costume by putting the mask over her face, she walked on over to the entrance ramp. Platinum Mask presented herself to the crowd who cheered for her arrival. She marched down to the ring and posed one more time before waiting for her opponent.

Black Swan's entrance was unique. The spotlight spotted her on top of the titantron spreading out a glider that looked like black feather wings. She jumped off and glided across the arena. Once she was above the ring, the released the glider and rolled upon landing. The glider, meanwhile, landed in the middle of the crowd who divided it to keep as souvenirs.

"Here is our first match of the night: newcomer, Platinum Mask, and the midnight harpy, Black Swan! Let's not forget that whoever wins this gets to unmask their opponent and keep their mask as a trophy! As some of you may know, this is Black Swan's favorite stipulation, which she likes to use whenever she fights any masked wrestler! She's taken quite a few masks in her day and lost her own a couple of times! Will this be the latter or will Platinum Mask's natural talent trump Black Swan's experience? Only one way to find out!"

DING-DING!

The first PPV match begun. Platinum Mask was about to start the lead, but Black Swan surprised her by jumping to the top rope. She ran across the ropes too quickly for Platinum Mask to keep up. Black Swan found her opportunity and bounced off the ropes landing a dropkick to Platinum Mask's back. The silver-masked wrestler fell forward and landed on the middle rope. Black Swan spun through the ropes and hit Platinum Mask with a tiger feint kick. With Platinum Mask on her back, Black Swan bounced off the rope rope once more and landed with a splash on her stomach before hooking her leg for an early pin.

1…

Platinum Mask kicked out. She tried to get back up, but Black Swan gripped the top of her mask and held her in place.

"Don't think we're done yet, chica!"

Platinum Mask managed to send a punch that connected directly to Black Swan's face. The luchadora grunted and let go. Platinum Mask used her full force to tackle Black Swan to the corner with her shoulder.

Platinum Mask gripped Black Swan's arm and threw her to the opposite corner. She charged for another shoulder tackle, but Black Swan was ready this time. She gripped the top ropes and threw herself upside down above the turnbuckle letting Platinum Mask's head hit the corner. Black Swan swung herself back down sending a kick down Platinum Mask's head. She then wrapped herself around Platinum Mask and held her in an octopus stretch. She held her tightly while the ref came.

"Platinum Mask, do you give up?"

Platinum Mask shook her head. After a minute of it, Platinum Mask managed to not only power out, but reverse it with a powerbomb. She held Black Swan down for a pin.

1… 2…

Black Swan kicked out. Platinum Mask lifted her on top of her shoulders and held her in a torture rack.

"Give up, Black Swan?" the referee asked.

"No!" Black Swan shouted trying to endure the pain. She reached to Platinum Mask's cover and slid two of her fingers in her eye holes. She quickly tugged it down so her face was covered. Platinum Mask let go to readjust her mask.

Being free now, Black Swan ran to attack Platinum Mask, but she was too late. Platinum Mask sent a strong punch to Black Swan's gut and dropped her in a DDT. She hooked her leg again.

1… 2…

Black Swan kicked out. What followed next after Black Swan stood back up was a straight up fist fight which ended with Black Swan falling on her back. Platinum Mask lifted her up for a powerbomb, but her opponent reversed it with a roll-up pin.

1… 2…

It was close, but Platinum Mask managed to kick out and stand back up. Black Swan hit her with an elbow strike across her face before jumping up on her shoulders. She then bent way down for a headlock. Platinum Mask stayed her ground trying to pry the tiny luchadora off of her. She looked to the corner and got an idea.

With much effort, Platinum Mask climbed up the turnbuckle with Black Swan still trying to squeeze her head into submission. Once she was on top, Platinum Mask fell backward landing herself on top of Black Swan when they both hit the mat. The crowd was stunned when they saw it. Platinum Mask then hooked the bird woman's leg once more.

1… 2…

Surprisingly, Black Swan kicked out. The princess realized that it has gone on long enough and decided to end it. She grabbed both of Black Swan's legs and pulled them to the side. This giant swing was what Platinum Mask called her signature move Platinum Spin. It practiced this move on bigger wrestlers in her home country, so swinging Black Swan in a circle was a lot lighter.

After half a minute, Platinum Mask let go and Black Swan fell to the mat with great force and dizzy from the spin. Platinum Mask straddled herself on top of Black Swan and planted both of her hands on her shoulders waiting for the referee.

1… 2… 3!

The crowd yelled out in approval. The princess under the mask was proud of herself. She had won her first singles match in front of everybody. And now, for her prize.

Black Swan reluctantly sat back up and stayed still as Platinum Mask knelt down behind her and tending to her laces. A few seconds later, and Black Swan's mask had been removed revealing her Mexican skin tone and short, black hair. She glared her blue eyes at Platinum Mask's direction.

"Remember this next time you wish to challenge me." Platinum Mask said as she held up her opponent's mask that she won.

"What a wonderful match, everybody!" the announcer declared. "Black Swan had the advantage, but Platinum Mask pulled off a win in the end as well as her opponent's mask! I hope she's proud of herself, 'cause we might be looking at a future Hall of Famer, ladies and gentlemen! What a great start to Olympia!"

Jason Mancini had already left the crowd and used his pass to enter the backstage area. He passed by a few staff workers until he bumped into someone big. His jaw dropped when he saw Clover standing before him.

"Whoa, easy there, munchkin." Clover said. "Where are yer folks at?"

Jason stood stunned. "I don't believe it! You're Clover!"

"A fan, huh?" Clover asked. "I guess kids aren't that bad after all."

Jason chuckled. "Hey, would you mind showing me where Scarlette is? I'd like to get her autograph."

"She's in the locker room still getting changed." Clover said. "She also doesn't do autographs until after her matches."

"All right." Jason said. "I can wait."

"You must be the sweepstakes winner then. Where's your plus one?"

"My dad? He's at the front row saving my spot." Jason explained. "I really want to see Scarlette beat Mercy."

"Well, you're gonna have to wait." Clover said. "There are a few matches before Scarlette gets her chance. But enough about her, do you have any thoughts on the other matches?"

"Well… I am looking forward to Carly X and Neko Girl's match. I think Carly's going to win too."

"Is that so?" Carly X asked as she suddenly appeared behind the fanboy. Jason was shocked when he discovered her. "Well, you're smart. And congrats. You get to see me throw the pussycat in the garbage where she belongs. See you then, fanboy." She walked away.

"Yeah, you better get back to your pops, kid." Clover said. "Something tells me this next match will be worth the front row."

*Carly X vs Neko Girl*

Jason got to his seat next to his dad just in time for Carly X to begin her entrance. She entered the ring with pride and determination. After that, Neko Girl prowled down the ramp confident in her abilities. As she entered the ring, a crew of backstage staff members placed a large, dark-green dumpster. Neko Girl chuckled.

"Look, X-tra Lame. There's your new home."

"Keep telling yourself that, you alleycat." Carly X replied.

"Now, onto our next match!" the announcer shouted. "No one knows the origin of the feud between Carly X and Neko Girl! Personally, I don't' think they know themselves! I think they just hate each other! First, the Stylish Tiger pulled off a win! Then, the Princess of Catfights tied things up in a no-DQ match. Now, these two are goi not settle the score once and for all! Whoever can throw their opponent into the dumpster and close it is the winner! Either way, someone's going to stink tonight!"

DING-DING!

Carly X and Neko Girl charged at each other. Neko Girl managed to get behind Carly and put her in a full nelson before slamming her to the mat. She capitalized on the early lead by raking her claws down Carly's back making her wince.

Neko Girl picked Carly up by her hair and winded her fist back for a punch, but the Stylish Tiger blocked the punch and countered with a leg sweep. Carly ran to the roped and bounced back with a swift dropkick to Neko Girl's face. She picked her up and proceeded to throw her out of the ring.

Neko Girl struggled to stand back up on her feet while Carly took a second to catch her breath. She saw Neko Girl and ran to her with a sliding kick, but Neko Girl grabbed onto the apron and lifted the top flap up. Carly landed right in between the ringside and the apron and Neko Girl took the opportunity to slam her arm at her face before raking her eyes.

"Princess of catfights. Remember, bitch?" Neko Girl asked.

Carly powered through the scratch and sent a strong punch against Neko Girl's face. She got under the flaps, but didn't come out. Neko Girl growled.

"Come out now, brat!" Neko Girl demanded as she opened up the bottom of the flap.

Suddenly, an aluminum baseball bat was swung out of the bottom of the ring and hit Neko Girl in the face. Carly X left the ring with the bat in her hands. She swung it again at Neko Girl's back letting her drop to her knees. She dropped the bat, grabbed her opponent, and slammed her head down on the steel steps.

Carly X went back into the ring and slowly began to climb the turnbuckle. She curled her hand in Neko Girl's direction outside of the ring urging her to stand back up. When Neko Girl stood straight, but still dizzy, Carly X jumped to her. During the landing, she hooked her arm on Neko Girl's head and delivered a stunning DDT that impacted the floor. The crowd cheered at the very sight of it.

Carly X used the barricade to get back up to her feet. Once there, she came face to face with the fan she met earlier.

"That was amazing!" Jason cheered.

Carly blushed at the comment. "Thanks, fanboy. Now, if you excuse me." She went to Neko Girl's legs and started to drag her across the entrance ramp. "Let's go for a walk, Mittens."

Mewlie snarled as she saw the match backstage. She stood up from the locker room and turned to the door.

"That blonde brat isn't going to ruin my legacy like that."

Mewlie opened the door, but before she could leave, she saw Thunder Mana standing in her way with her arms crossed.

"Where do you think you're going?" she asked with a raised eyebrow."

"Out of my way, GWM girl!" Mewlie demanded. "That brat needs to learn a lesson. Don't think you can just protect her because she's your boss' daughter."

Mana's glare shot daggers. If Mewlie had actual fur, it'd be standing right now. "First of all, I don't care if she's X's daughter. Secondly, I'm not protecting her because of that. And three, recent events have put me in a very bad mood which I'm saving for later. I'd hate to waste my anger on you. So if you don't mind, 'Queen of Catfights', let's leave it between the kids."

Mewlie didn't respond. She just begrudgingly sat back down in her seat to watch her daughter's match.

Carly X had managed to drag Neko Girl to the stage right next to the dumpster. The unhooked the latched and lifted the lid up. She lifted Neko Girl up to her feet by her black hair.

"It's time to end this." Carly said.

Carly X attempted to throw Neko Girl into the dumpster headfirst, but the princess of catfights grabbed the edge of the dumpster to stop herself. She quicky grabbed Carly's hair and threw her to the dumpster's side. She held onto her head and repeatedly slammed it five times. She then picked up Carly's leg above her and sank her teeth into her thigh. Carly screamed loudly earning the worry of the crowd. When Neko Girl let go, Carly bent her leg back to take a look at the bite mark.

"That's what you get, you little twig. Be right back."

Neko Girl marched over toward the ring. Carly X tried to follow her, but her bite was too sore for her to get back up yet. Neko Girl returned to her holding the aluminum baseball bat she used earlier. She pressed it against Carly's throat pushing her back to the dumpster's side. The Stylish Tiger chaked as she kicked her feet up and down.

"Do you like that?" Neko Girl asked. "Is this why you picked a fight with me? Because you like being mauled? No wonder your mommy abandoned you."

That comment about her mother sent Carly back to their last match. Her emotions built up again and she gripped the bat with both her hands. Despite Neko Girl's pushes, Carly's push was a lot harder. She managed to throw Neko Girl backwards right to the stage's edge. While Carly coughed, Neko Girl looked down and saw a trash can underneath her. She grinned as she gripped the lid handle.

"This will finish her off." Neko Girl thought to herself. "I just need to get her close enough."

Neko Girl looked back at Carly who was tapping the bat in her hand. "Is that all you got? Scratch that. That's why your mommy left, because she was embarrassed to be around a weakling like you."

Carly's vision became red again. She gripped the baseball bat and almost went to swing again. However, she stopped herself taking a deep breath. She dropped the baseball bat much to Neko Girl's surprise.

"I don't care." Carly X said. "I'm doing this for me, not for my mom. Which is more than I can say about you?"

This time, it was Neko Girl's turn to get angry. She lifted the trash lid handle and went to strike Carly X with it, but she managed to lift her up and make her drop the lid. She then threw her backwards landing the Princess of Catfights headfirst into the dumpster. Carly X ran to the lid, but before she could close it, Neko Girl grabbed her by the wrist and pried her away from it.

"Not so fast!" Neko Girl growled in anger.

"Pew!" Carly shouted. "You need a bath!"

"So will you!" Neko Girl yelled out as she pulled back.

Carly X fell into the dumpster and the two of them tussled for control inside of the garbage. The camera crew tried to look in, but whenever they tried to get close, a piece of garbage would be thrown at them.

After a minute, the scuffling stopped. And the first to stand up and leave the dumpster is… Carly X. She limps outside of the dumpster with a few scratch and bite marks. A small bit of her hair may have also been missing. But she smiled as she grabbed the lid of the dumpster and closed it tight.

DING-DING!

The crowd yelled in amazement as Carly X stood in proud victory. She held her hand up as she took her breath deeply.

"WHAT AN OUTSTANDING MATCH! These two teenagers were head-to-head! The two of them may have been rolling around in the garbage, but Carly X was able to win over the two of them!"

"One more thing." Carly said. She picked up the aluminum baseball bat and approached the dumpster. "This is for bringing my mom into this." She winded the back as far back as she could before giving a very hard swing. Once the bat made impact, a loud ring came from it followed by Neko Girl's scream from the inside. Carly grinned when it happened. "And now… I'm gonna hit the showers." She dropped the bat and left backstage.

"Sounds like you're up next, honey." Queen Bee said. She looked at Kaito who looked down sulking. "Are you okay?"

"I'm a jobber, I was humiliated by the Skunk a few times, she stole my 24/7 belt (my biggest win yet), and now, I have to face her again in front of probably a million more people than usual. I wouldn't exactly say I'm okay."

"Hey! This is your comeback. Just pull off a win here and you'll be on your way to bigger accomplishments later."

"But what if I lose?"

"Just do your best."

"But what if my best isn't good enough?"

"It's good enough for me." Queen Bee gave him a passionate kiss. "Are you sure you don't want me in your corner?"

"Thanks, but if I won while you're there, people will think you helped me win, and I don't want that." Kaito said. "This is between me and the Skunk."

"Suit yourself." Queen Bee said. "Good luck out there. And hey, if I was in your shoes, I'd probably find an alternate way to win."

Kaito nodded and put on his mask. He then proceeded to leave the locker room.

*The Skunk vs Kaito Marx*

The Skunk strutted down the ramp swinging her hips side to side so everyone she passed by would see her rear jiggle as it swayed left and right. She entered the ring and cackled as she bent down and shook her end one more time.

"Bring on my cushion!" she called out.

Though he didn't appreciate the nickname, Kaito Marx proceeded down the ramp. Some of the crowd only wanted to see him humiliated. The others supported his persistence and heard that he was being trained by Queen Bee, so they cheered him on, especially some of the girls. Kaito entered the ring across from the Skunk, who was licking her lips.

"Another highly-anticipated match, everyone! The only male in Xtrema, Kaito Marx, has had quite a rivalry with the Skunk since his first match. Although, this rivalry was completely one-sided as she always defeated him, but not without rubbing her rear end on his face! Many fans are waiting to see that happen again, but then again, there are some viewers who are rooting for Kaito because he has had training from our ace, Queen Bee! Will that training pay off, or will Kaito Marx's losing streak continue on the first pay-per-view?"

DING-DING!

Kaito took the initiative and charged at the Skunk, but the Stinker anticipated this and ran back at him. She turned around and jumped knocking Kaito back with her butt. She then jumped up and landed butt-first on his chest. She got up and jumped down again and again. She stopped for a minute to rest and look down at his aching face.

"Man, you are so pathetic." The Skunk said. "Are you sure you're a man? Seems to me that the 'special' training didn't amount to squat!" She scooted herself forward and put Kaito in a schoolgirl pin. "Count him out, ref!"

1… 2…

Kaito kicked out. The Skunk grinned and jumped on his collar.

"Guess you want more, huh? Well, to give you a sneak preview…"

The Skunk got off and exited the ring. The referee started her count. The Skunk reached under the apron and pulled out a steel chair, but instead of bringing it into the ring, she raised it up and pointed to it.

"You see this? When I beat you for the umpteenth time, I'm laying your face on the seat of this chair and I'm going to sit on it for the rest of the show. I can tell you're looking forward to it."

The Skunk dropped the chair to the floor and returned inside the ring. She then held up Kaito's leg preparing for a submission hold, but before she could, Kaito used his other leg to kick at the Skunk's leg making her fall to her knee. He then kicked her face to make her let go. He returned to his feet and ran to the ropes. He ran to the Skunk and hit her with a shining wizard. The crowd was shook when the Stinker of the Ring fell on her back.

Kaito figured he had his chance. He climbed up the top of the corner and prepared to leap. He jumped up to attempt a splash, but the Skunk rolled out of the way letting him hit the mat instead. She then sat on his back and delivered a camel clutch.

"Kaito, do you give up?" the referee asked.

"No!" Kaito replied trying his best not to yell in pain.

"Is it just me, or are you more annoying than before?" the Skunk asked. "Well, this'll shut you up."

The Skunk lifted Kaito up and threw him in the corner. She grabbed both his legs and let him drop to a seated position. She turned around and wiggled her butt in front of him.

"Pucker up, little man!" the Skunk shouted as she rammed her rear end right on his face. She shook it as he flailed his arms and legs around.

The referee forced the Skunk to release her signature stinkface and let Kaito fall to the mat with his eyes half-open. The Skunk grabbed Kaito by his ankles and pulled him to the center of the ring. She smiled while she hooked his leg for the pin.

1… 2…

Much to the Skunk's surprise, Kaito managed to kick out of it. She looked down on him in anger.

"What?" she gasped. "How? You always get pinned down to the stinkface! Well, guess that means I'm not done with you."

The Skunk grabbed Kaito's head and lifted him up. She bent him down placing his head between her legs.

"Never say die, huh?" the Skunk asked as she carefully planted his head right beneath her butt. "Welcome to my world, Kaito!"

She attempted her pedigree, but Kaito managed to grab the Skunk by her feet and trip her up. But he didn't stop there. He picked her back up, lifted her, and dropped her in a powerbomb. The Skunk gasped as she rolled right out of the ring right on top of the chair she pulled out earlier. Kaito ran to the far end of the ropes and ran back jumping over the ropes near the Skunk. He fell down aimed right at her, but the Skunk countered with a bearhug followed by a belly-to-belly suplex right at the floor. She stood right over his prone body while the referee began her count.

"When are you going to get it through your thick head that you're not better than me? You're not better than anyone." The Skunk taunted. "Face it! Your parents gave birth to a loser!"

That line about Kaito's parents crossed the line. He looked and saw that her foot was planted right on top of the steel chair. That's when an idea came into his head. He decided to look for an alternate way to win like his girlfriend said.

"You know what?" Kaito asked. "You talk to much."

He instantly shot his leg at the steel chair making the Skunk land face first next to him. While she recovered from the dizziness, Kaito got back up and slipped back into the ring. That's when the referee had finished her count.

8… 9… 10!

The referee signaled for the bell.

DING-DING!

The crowd was both shocked and confused. Kaito Marx had his first singles win right in front of them.

"I can hardly believe it! Kaito Marx, the only man in Xtrema and has a big loss record, had just defeated his career-long rival in the first ever Xtrema pay-per-view! A win via countout may not be the most memorable victory, but it still counts as ending his losing streak! I bet he hasn't felt this proud since he became the first 24/7 Champion!"

Kaito took his breath and smiled. He stood up straight addressed the crowd, and held his fist up high.

"Never say die!" he proclaimed. The crowd cheered, but Kaito noticed that the Skunk was slowly trying to get back up to his feet. "Oops. Gotta go." He ran out of the ring and went backstage before the Skunk managed to acknowledge her loss.

From the locker room, Queen Bee watched the match on the TV with a proud smile on his face.

"Well, it's a start." she said. "Now, all I gotta do is win for the both of us."

Author's Note: Well, that's the start of my first PPV. I enjoy writing my matches, but coming up with PPV worthy matches is harder than it ought to be. So far, I think my proudest would be Carly X vs Neko Girl. Well, here's to making sure the other five matches will be great.

Any and all comments are welcome.
