Chapter 95 (The Xtrema Awards)
Tokyo was a delight for everyone to visit and see the sights. The Red Sky Hotel well provided for the women of Xtrema and Kaito Marx, who insisted on sharing a room with Queen Bee.
Once everyone had packed into their hotel rooms, they changed into their fanciest clothes and left for the Hinata Tower Stadium. Everyone passed by the arena room where the wrestling ring was and peeked at it. They were very much astonished at the open ceiling and audience seats that were enough to occupy many armies.
The wrestlers took their quick glance and continued down further. They eventually made it to a theater room that was set up like an opera house with a movie screen at the front. They began occupying the front half of the seats with their special guests seated behind them. To the sides of the theater were several wrestlers who aren't associated with Xtrema, but were either special guests of the past or the challenging wrestlers for the upcoming Xtrema Against the World event.
Once everyone had settled down, Sayuri Rogue graced the main stage pulling off her smoking-hot, black dress. The lights began to blacken and everyone kept quiet.
"Hello, everyone! And welcome to Tokyo! I know everyone is very eager to begin our Xtrema Against the World show. I know everyone's looking forward to it, but first, we must go on with our Xtrema Awards. We are here to acknowledge and give our greatest thanks to the strong and mighty women who contributed to Xtrema.
"Ten awards are to be given tonight. These ten awards are nominated and voted upon by our fans and our staff. I'm aware that everyone has the greatest confidence in their abilities, so let me put all that uneasiness to rest."
Sayuri Rogue held up a golden trophy with the Xtrema logo engraved on the top. The plaque on its base read "Moment of the Year".
"Our first award goes to our Rookie of the Year. These ladies may be green to our organization, but they really proved themselves to us and our fans. Our nominees are Sam Hamilton, Luna and Carina the Galaxy Twins, Platinum Mask, Clover, and Jasper Jones."
The movie screen behind her began to show different clips. The first set showed Sam Hamilton in her past matches kicking butt in different costumes. The next set revealed the Galaxy Twins performing their high-performance moves in different matches. After that, Platinum Mask clips showed her showing off her might. Clover's clips were strong and they concluded with her winning the TV championship. Lastly, Jasper Jones clips showed her clearly showing some evidence of her claim as a reincarnated warrior. Once the clips were done, Sayuri held an envelope in her hand which she opened. She pulled out a letter and read it.
"And our Rookie of the Year award goes to… Sam Hamilton!"
Sam nearly fell out of her seat at the sound of that. She nearly screamed in excitement while Claude urged her onto the stage. She sprinted up and took the award.
"Thank you! Thank you!" Sam said. "I don't know what to say!"
"How about a speech?" Sayuri asked.
Sam chuckled nervously as she faced the crowd. "I'll be completely honest. I didn't think I'd win this. I didn't even think I'd be nominated. I wear my costumes not just because it's my gimmick or for fun. I wear them because it's who I am. So I give my thanks to you, my fans, and especially to my best tailor, Claude! Thank you for naming me Rookie of the Year, and I hope to continue living up to the hype!"
The crowd applauded as the cosplayer returned to her seat with her trophy in her hand. Once she returned, Sayuri returned to her spot and presented another envelope and a new trophy.
"Our next award goes to the Tag Team of the Year. As fun as it is to be a singles winner, the fun is doubled when it's with a partner. Our nominees are Diana Diaz and Poison, the Daughters of Darkness (Midnight and Azraella Bloodstone), the Galaxy Twins (Carina and Luna), the Thunder Ligers (Thunder Mana and Carly X), and Team Spirit (Starla and Isebella)."
What came after that was another set of clips. First, Diana Diaz and Poison showed off their dominating power that got them to become Tag Team Champions in a near instant. Next came clips of the Daughters of Darkness, who struck fear to the hearts of the crowd and their opponents. The next set of clips showed the Galaxy Twins showing off their acrobatic skills and moves. The Thunder Ligers clips mostly showed their impressive teamwork against the Killer Kitties, but it was still iconic to rewatch. Lastly, Team Spirit's high-spirited attitudes and solid teamwork were shown. When the clips were over, Sayuri continued onto the next letter which had the results.
"And now, without further ado, our Tag Team of the Year is… Team Spirit!"
Starla and Isebella cheered wildly as they ran with high energy toward the stage. They accepted their shared reward and turned to the crowd.
"Thank you, everyone! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Starla cried out. "We came this far because of your love and support."
"And because of your support, we will live up to our name as your favorite tag team!" Isebella said. "Get ready, Xtrema, because Team Spirit is on the rise!"
After the two best friends returned totheir seats, Sayuri continued with yet another letter and award.
"For our third reward, we will be celebrating the Finisher of the Year. Nothing says 'It's over' like an iconic move these wrestlers have made their own. Our nominees are as follows: the Queen's Sting by Queen Bee, Cosmic Spiral Splash by the Galaxy Twins, the Kabukick by Kyoko Natsumi, the stinkface by the Skunk, and the bronco buster by Clementine Cirrus!"
The clips that followed showed the finishers in action. The Queen's Sting was shown finishing Diana Diaz, the Cosmic Spiral Splash was used against Team Spirit, the Kabukick sent down Mercy back in a time before Queen Bee started dating Kaito Marx, the Skunk used the stinkface on Kaito so many times, and the bronk buster almost flattened Willow Powell.
"Devastating, aren't they? But in the end, the award goes to… the Queen's Sting!"
Queen Bee smiled as she made her way to the stage. She accepted the award, shook Sayuri's hand, and turned to the crowd. Her eyes locked onto Queen Elizabeth, who didn't look pleased.
"Thank you, Ms. Rogue. And thank you, ladies and gentlemen for naming my move as the Finisher of the Year. At first, my primary finisher was the sharpshooter, but that didn't get me as many results as I had hoped. But when I discovered what a paralyzing kick I can deliver, everything fell into place. I thank you all, and to Liz, get ready for your turn." She returned to her seat while Elizabeth stared.
"Our fourth award goes to the Match of the Year. We've had several memorable matches in the past, but only one was captivating enough to win this award. Our nominations include the last woman standing match between Queen Bee and Diana Diaz at the end of Supernova, my match against Misaki Toyoda at the Xtrema vs Berserk crossover event, the Tag Team Championship match between Team Spirit and the Daughters of Darkness, the TLC match between Queen Bee and Thunder Mana, and the Number One Contender gauntlet match which was won by Clementine Cirrus."
The highlights of each match were displayed for everyone to see. Queen Bee and Diana Diaz struggled to keep each other down until the ace won. Sayuri Rogue was kept on her toes until she defeated the ace of Berserk. Team Spirit got the best of the Daughters of Darkness and won the tag team titles. Queen Bee and Thunder Mana fought tooth and nail, even despite outside interference, to obtain the World Championship. Lastly, Clementine Cirrus powered through all the other strong opponents to win the gauntlet match. Sayuri ended the clips and opened her envelope.
"And the Match of the Year is… Queen Bee vs Diana Diaz!"
Queen Bee smiled and was about to stand to accept the new award, but before she could, Diana Diaz made her way onto the stage swiping the trophy out of Sayuri's hands.
"Thank you, Rogue. I'll be happy to take this on behalf of my favorite match. Sure, I lost that match as well as every title I had, but if I were to lose against a titan such as Queen Bee, I am not complaining. But don't think I am done quite yet. I intend to make myself the Ultimate Champion, even if I have to start from scratch. Consider this award to be my start. Just wait. I will win every last title even if I have to do it myself." She stormed back to her seat right next to Poison, who was rubbing the side of her head in frustration.
"Blowhard." The Mad Gear gangster thought to herself just as Sayuri Rogue cleared her throat and resumed.
"Anyway, for our fifth, these women have used not only their strength and skill to win you over, but also their looks. Ladies and gentlemen, this is our Sexiest Superstar award. Our nominees are… Cleopatra, Calypso, Hotrina, Willow Powell, and Midnight."
The screen showed clips of the ladies showing off some fanservice. Cleopatra made herself flexible showing off her tanned skin. Calypso danced to her exotic music. Hotrina wore a tiny bikini displaying her sexy body. Willow Powell's clips showed her fabulous red carpet appearances as well as her best scenes in her movies. Lastly, Midnight showed off her harem of men and women who devoted themselves to her and she made them her own. Once the clips ended, Sayuri gave her result.
"And the Sexiest Superstar is… Hotrina!"
The supermodel wrestler smiled as if she expected that. She made her way to the ring and accepted the award before addressing everyone.
"It's no surprise that I won this award. There's literally no one in this room as sexy as me. And soon, this perfect body is going to dominate all of Xtrema, hurting everyone's bodies as well as their self-esteem. Whether it's a second-rate actress with escargot breath to so-called aces with fat asses like any other bee. It doesn't scare me, because I will make Xtrema mine from within the ring and you all will love it. Ciao." She returned to her seat.
"Well, that was quite a statement. Now, life isn't a fairy tale where heroes win. In real life, the villains win sometimes. In this case, Xtrema's top villain will have a trophy for their underhanded deeds. That's right. This is our Heel of the Year award. The villains who are nominated are… Diana Diaz, Eris, the Skunk the Killer Kitties, and Black Swan."
Like before, clips of each women showed along with their actions. Diana Diaz brutalized and hospitalized most of her opponents. Eris not only humiliated her opponents keeping up her winning streak, but even corrupted Platinum Mask. The Skunk performed her humiliating move on her opponents as well as Kaito Marx in his own house. The Killer Kitties were revealed pulling off their tag team cheats and even turning on each other from time to time. Lastly, the Black Swan didn't just win some of her matches, she removed the masks of anyone she defeated. When the clips were done, Sayuri read the result out loud.
"And the Heel of the Year is… Eris!"
Eris smiled playfully as she walked on over to the ring. She accepted the award and turned to the whole crowd that watched.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I am really pleased you chose me as your Heel of the Year. But to be honest, I couldn't have done it without my fellow wrestlers. Thank you, Madame Python, for passing out to my Chaos Lock. Thank you, Liza Surkova, for having such a short temper to make my victories more hilarious. And most of all, thank you, Platinum Mask, for surrendering your mind, body, and soul to your Goddess of Chaos. The world chose me to be the Heel of the Year. Let's see if I can live up to it." She snickered wickedly as she returned to her seat. Platinum Mask sat next to her very displeased.
"Our next award is the Moment of the Year award. Our women have done some eye-opening acts in their careers, and I think it's important that their actions are awarded. Our first nomination is the conclusion of the match between Queen Bee and Diana Diaz, where our ace not only toppled our sadistic juggernaut, but also stripped her of all her titles reducing her Ultimate Champion plan to zero. For our next nomination, we have that moment in Queen Bee and Thunder Mana's TLC match where when Mana was offered a chance to return to GWM, she refused and fought back against her old rival. Our third nomination is the conclusion of the 24/7 Championship Scramble where our only man, Kaito Marx, won his first official title. For our fourth, we have a certain event that happened in Queen Bee's match against Hornet in the Xtrema vs Berserk event. The League of Evil had taken Kaito Marx hostage and Queen Bee was forced to hold back, but right when she was about to surrender, Marx still cheered for her pushing her to defeating her rival. Lastly, we have our rookie battle royal where six newcomers battled it out to start off their skills. In the end, Platinum Mask remained in the ring longer than everyone else and won."
The clips showed the matches where everything occurred. Queen Bee's Queen Sting finished Diana Diaz off and kept her down long enough for her titles to be removed. Thunder Mana speared Aoife Leavy out of the ring. At the Scramble, Kaito Marx managed to unhook the belt he was looking for and became the first ever 24/7 Champion. At the Berserk event, Kaito cheered for Queen Bee for overcome Hornet's influence and deliver her first Queen's Sting. Lastly, Platinum Mask outlasted Zelda Logan, Jasper Jones, Sam Hamilton, Clover, and Poison in her first official match. Sayuri Rogue had another envelope.
"And our Moment of the Year goes to… Kaito Marx winning the 24/7 Championship!"
Kaito's jaw dropped and Queen Bee urged him to go and take the award from the stage. He chuckled nervously gazing at everybody.
"Hi, everybody. Thanks for the reward, I guess. It's just… I was the last person I'd ever expect to earn any reward. But with this, I feel extra confident for the future. Thank you, everyone. Never say die." He returned to his seat.
"Part of what makes Xtrema unique is that for most of our nights, we include a match that involves someone who isn't in our roster. We've had some wonderful guests, but only one of them can be our VIP of the Year. Our nominees are Misaki Toyoda, Queen Elizabeth, Juri Sanada, Sarah Al-Saleh, and Ishtar."
The presentation of clips played on the screen again. First, it was Misaki Toyoda in her match against Sayuri Rogue again. Queen Elizabeth appeared next facing off against Queen Bee and handing her a rare loss these days. Juri Sanada was presented afterwards wrestling against Jasper Jones until she made her tap out. Sarah fought against La Calavera until she hit her with her Falcon Spear and pin her afterwards. Lastly, Ishtar's match with Liza Surkova was played where the two MMA fighters grappled with each other viciously until they were both counted out of the ring. The clips were over and Sayuri Rogue was ready to give the award.
"And our VIP of the Year is… Queen Elizabeth!"
Queen Bee grimaced turning her attention to the GWM queen who stood proudly and marched up to the stage. She accepted the award and turned to the crowd.
"I'll gladly accept this award, but I have to admit, I am surprised to earn this. I mean, you people have the insane idea that defeating your so-called 'ace' is an award-worthy accomplishment. I can assure you, it is not. Your quote-unquote 'Queen Bee' is a natural-born loser and the fact that she is anyone's ace is astonishing. Back in her rookie days, she never won a single match. I should know. I handed her over twenty of her losses. You don't believe me? Check out my YouTube channel. I've made a compilation video of all her most devastating losses, which is just about all of them! And if recent events have proven anything, it's that nothing has changed about her. So if I were you, old friend, I'd forfeit our match before I get hurt. Otherwise, you'll be defeated again, Dull N' Broken."
She dropped the microphone and headed back to her seat. Queen Bee was compelled to jump out of her seat and attack her, but Kaito and Clementine kept her seated. Sayuri picked up the microphone and cleared her throat.
"Well, let's move on, shall we? These wrestlers push each other either out of respect or hatred for one another. Either way, it made a good show, didn't it? Our Rivalry of the Year award goes to the most interesting feuds in Xtrema history. Our nominees are Queen Bee and Diana Diaz, Sam Hamilton and Zelda Logan, Thunder Mana and Queen Bee, Carly X and Neko Girl, and Willow Powell and Hotrina."
The highlights of each rivalry were shown on the screen. Queen Bee and Diana Diaz were like two titans fighting for power. Sam and Zelda tangled for pride. Queen Bee and Thunder Mana faced each other with the latter's innocence on the line. Carly X and Neko Girl were two teenage catfighters who never stopped trying to maul each other. Lastly, Willow Powell and Hotrina fought not just for strength, but for sexiness too. When the scenes were over, Sayuri Rogue opened her letter.
"And the Rivalry of the Year award goes to… Queen Bee and Thunder Mana!"
This time, it was Thunder Mana who went up to accept the award. And this time, Queen Bee had no problem with that.
"Thank you, Ms. Rogue. I will accept this award on behalf of me and Queen Bee's rivalry. I had a lot riding on that match at Olympia, and I used it to motivate myself and power on through. And despite my loss, I still have the greatest respect for our ace, who I hope to face again in the future." She left the stage and returned to her seat.
"Last, but certainly not least, is our Superstar of the Year. This award will be presented to the one Xtrema wrestler who really highlighted Xtrema and best represented everything we stand for. This is for the best of the best. Our five nominees are… Queen Bee… Clementine Cirrus… Scarlette… Eris… and Diana Diaz."
The final set of clips showed the five nominees in their best points in their careers. Queen Bee vanquished impossible odds against Thunder Mana, Diana Diaz, and even Hornet. Clementine Cirrus pulled off some exciting matches against Willow Powell, N-Bomb, and the gauntlet match. Scarlette showed off her true, selfless skills and attitude befitting the role model she wants to be. Eris' clips showed every victory that built up her winning streak and her recruitment of Platinum Mask. Lastly, Diana Diaz's clips showed her powering and dominating through most of the Xtrema roster eventually winning all but one of the titles. Once they were done, Sayuri opened up the final envelope.
"And now, without further ado, our Superstar of the Year award goes to… QUEEN BEE!"
The applause went louder than before. Bee shot back up to her feet, passed her award to Kaito, and went over to accept the award with satisfaction. She was extra satisfied seeing the envy in Queen Elizabeth's face.
"Thank you for your award! Just thank you! I know I already said much earlier, everybody, but I'd like to say this. My whole life is turning to the life of a pro wrestler, and though I ran into some impossible obstacles in my life, I still made it here becoming your world champion, your Xtrema ace, and your two-awards winner! So just you wait, because when I'm done, everyone's going to feel the sting when they see this Boston girl become the Queen of Pro Wrestling!" Everyone applauded as Queen Bee returned to her seat. Sayuri Rogue clapped alongside them before moving on.
"Well said, everyone. Now, as most of you know, we will have our first night of Xtrema Against the World tomorrow night, which will be the night of our tag team matches. We have been cooking up this match list for what feels like months, and now, here we are. I give you our tag team matches for tomorrow night."
Sayuri Rogue turned everyone's attention to the screen, which displayed a list of matches for the next night.
"Scarlette and Clover vs Azumi and Death Carpenter
Atlantis Force (Amazon Aqua and Calypso) vs the Super Pirates (1 and 2)
The Pantheon (Eris and Platinum Mask) vs Mighty Yukiko and Bomber Kishima

"We look forward to tomorrow night, so everyone better prepare. This could be an event that changes everything."
With all that said, everyone exited the theater to rest and/or train for their upcoming matches.

Monica Everly greeted the wide crowd in her Chibi form. She blew kisses to everyone as she sat down next to Sayuri Rogue, who was also in her Chibi form.
"Welcome back to Xtrema Shorts, everybody! And as we upload this chapter, we will officially enter the new year! Happy 2022! So hopefully, this year will be better. We're back in the canon story and we're starting off with the Xtrema Awards show. The nominations were mainly chosen by Awesome ax10, but the winners were all chosen by Epiclot214. He hopes you're all satisfied with the results.
"But enough about that. For now, let's get back to our second round of our famous Xtrema interviews. We've got a whole new batch of questions, and who better to start us off than our Xtrema CEO, Sayuri Rogue? Welcome back, Ms. Rogue."
"Good to be back, Monica." Chibi Sayuri said. "I know it hasn't been that long, but I'm feeling kinda nostalgic for these interviews."
"As am I." Chibi Monica said. "Now, I will be asking you some questions. The first set of questions are standard to ask everyone, and these will be whole new questions for this round of interviews. Once were done, we will be going over questions asked specifically for you. Are you ready?"
"I was ready for three months."
"Excellent. Now, our new standard questions don't apply to you, so let's move onto the personal questions. Tell us about your heel days with Anesthesia. When did she have enough and how did she leave?
Chibi Sayuri sighed. "If you must know, I knew Annie back when we were both starting off as wrestlers? She and I didn't go to the same gym, but we did practice a lot. We brainstormed dirty tricks to use and even began thinking of a way to make ourselves stronger. At the time, I was happy to be with someone as ruthless and strong as her. But all that changed at Shangri-La after Jackal Tojo defeated me for the World Championship. As you know, that match changed me and I began to be more considerate and eventually had a face turn. Annie wasn't happy about that. She wanted me to go back to being a heel and start coming up with a way to get back at Jackal. I told her no, so she went behind my back and tried to hurt her herself. Thankfully, I stopped her. Although, I was so upset at her, I demanded for her to leave. And that's the last time I say Annie for a long while. Now, I hear she's quite high up on Rumble Roses and I can only imagine what she's putting those poor girls through."
"Aside from getting into the ring to discipline misbehaving wrestlers, do you go in a match against a wrestler she wants to fight? If so, then which wrestlers fall into that category?"
"Oh, I'm always ready to get into the ring. My only condition is that there won't be any title shots. My championship days are over. Some of the wrestlers I wish to face would have to be Jacky (obviously), Mother Devil, Mah Miseon, Juri Sanada, Chris Morgan… Basically, any of the S league wrestlers outside of Xtrema. As for those who work for me, I'd say I'd like a match against Queen Bee because she's my ace, Diana Diaz for reasons I'm sure you can guess, and Artemis Creed to prepare her for a rematch against Jacky."
"Can you rank business partners from best to worst?"
"Well, I haven't had a lot of business partners in the past. I'm a multi-billionaire woman who earns more money these days than I spend. But if you're asking for those who have signed up for the Pandora Project, I'll tell you my least favorite to my most favorite. My least favorite would have to be Vince McMahon because he's an old buffoon who should just retire. And as for my most favorite, that's obviously gonna be Jacky. Back before I won the lottery, when we weren't facing each other in the ring, we kinda ran the locker room in Shangri-La. Basically, no one would dare stand up to us. Ah, those were the days."
"Thank you, Ms. Rogue. Now, for our announcements Next chapter, we will finally begin Xtrema Against the World, an event that Epiclot214 have been mentally preparing for about a year. The tag matches will start before we announce the match card for the singles.
"If anyone needs help in knowing where each of the Xtrema wrestlers' opponents are from, I'll tell you. Azumi and Death Carpenter come from the wrestling manga, Welcome to El Palacio. The Super Pirates, Mighty Yukiko, Bomber Kishima, the Won Sisters, Fenrir Army, and the Death Hunters are from the video game series, Wrestle Angels. The Bella Twins are from WWE. Rainbow Mika and Yamato Nadeshiko are from the Street Fighter series. Candy Pair and Queen Payne are from Tiger Mask W. Lastly, the League of Evil are from Wanna Be the Strongest in the World. Just wanted to clarify all that before we begin.
