Chapter 123 (Match)
The outburst of the roaring crowd brought the entire stadium to life. The show was ready to begin and everyone was excited about it.
"Welcome to Xtrema, ladies and gentlemen! We've got a lot to look forward to! These powerful women put on a hell of a show at Xtrema Against the World, and I know everyone is eager to see how they're going to pick up from there!"
*Amazon Aqua vs Jun Juli*
The first woman to grace the entrance stage was none other than Amazon Aqua. She posed for the crowd and flexed for her fans before making her way to the ring. Once she was inside, Jun Juli began her entrance. She strutted from the stage dramatically making sure everyone got to see her beautiful legs. She then climbed up into the ring and stood across from her opponent.
"Looks like we're about to begin the semi-finals of the Yin-Yang Tournament face bracket! Two weeks ago, Amazon Aqua defeated Kyoko Natsumi and Jun Juli defeated Charlie Hart! Which one of these two will be one of the face bracket's finalists? We'll see very soon!"
DING-DING!
Jun Juli went for the full frontal approach. She raced over to Amazon Aqua and launched a dropkick at her. However, Aqua sidestepped and deflected the attack slamming her to the mat. She then picked Jun up before tossing her backwards in a German suplex. She held her there until Jun rolled out before the referee could count to one.
Jun returned to her feet just as Amazon Aqua rolled up to her knee. Jun jumped for another dropkick, and this time, it connected to Aqua's face knocking her back. Jun then picked herself up and jumped over to her opponent landing both her knees on her stomach.
Jun picked Amazon Aqua up and threw her to the ropes. When she bounced back, Jun struck her stomach with her knee. Though it did hurt, Aqua managed to endure it and power out. She grabbed Jun by her leg and swung it throwing the waitress across the ring. She then picked her up by her legs and hold her way up over her head. With great force, she powerbombed Jun at the center of the ring. She stayed there for the referee.
1… 2…
Jun managed to use her legs to push Aqua up a bit to stop the count. She then wrapped her legs around Aqua's head and slammed her to the mat. She kept her legs wrapped around her head and squeezed tightly. Aqua gritted her teeth struggling in vain to escape the headscissors hold. Jun tried to reach her arms out to pull back on her feet, but Aqua used her hands to keep hers away.
Jun continued to squeeze her thighs at Aqua's neck. The Queen of the Seas struggled until she found the chance to strike her legs with her fists. She attacked a few more times until Jun was forced to let go.
When the two of them returned to their feet, Jun launched a kick at Amazon Aqua's leg. Though it hit, she didn't feel it. Instead, she tackled Jun crashing her to the corner. She pressed her shoulder until the referee ordered her to separate. When she did, Jun launched both her legs out and kicked Aqua backward. She then climbed up to the top rope and jumped off wrapping her legs around Aqua's head again. She attempted to slam her down in a huricarana, but Aqua caught her before she could, picked her up and slammed her on the ground for another powerbomb. She stayed there for another pin attempt.
1… 2…
Once again, Jun kicked out. Her back was still sore though from the powerbombs, so Aqua picked Jun up from the mat and applied a bearhug on her. Her strong arms constricted around Jun's body applying pressure to her back. Still, Jun was resourceful enough to wrap her legs around Jun's body and squeezed tightly.
As strong as Aqua's arms were, Jun proved that her legs were even stronger. Jun won the squeezing battle when she made Aqua release her bearhug and attempted to pry Jun's legs apart, but it was to no avail. Her scissors was applied perfectly tightly. Jun then leaned forward to wrap her arm around Aqua's head applying a guillotine hold on top of her bodyscissors.
Even with both the tight guillotine hold and the even more powerful bodyscissors applied to her, Aqua refused to fall to her knees. She slowly walked over to the nearest corner and dropped Jun to the turnbuckles. The pain in Jun's back made her release Aqua, but the Queen of the Seas still had sore ribs and she moved away from the corner holding her sides.
Jun saw this as a second chance and climbed to the top rope again. She readied herself for another hurricarana, but Aqua saw what she was doing and attacked her with her forearm to stop her. While Jun was stunned, Aqua turned her around and powerbombed her from the top rope with her finishing move, the Tidal Wave. She stayed with another pin.
1… 2… 3!
DING-DING!
"This is it! Amazon Aqua moves onto the finals in the face bracket! She's just two matches away from the Yin-Yang Championship belt! But who will be her opponent?"
Amazon Aqua stood above Jun Juli and posed for the crowd. The crowd certainly enjoyed the power pose from the Queen of the Seas. She then left the ring and headed backstage. Jun Juli emerged with a sore back and followed.
*La Calavera vs Cleopatra*
Spanish music played from the entrance with La Calavera at the stage. She danced to the music before heading to the stage. When she arrived, she revealed one last change in her entrance. The studio lights went out and the sugar skull on her mask began to glow earning a cheer from the crowd.
When the lights came back on, the Spanish music was changed to Egyptian music. Cleopatra graced the stage wearing her royal outfit which she then removed after entering the ring. She was left with her Egyptian-style two-piece and her golden boots.
"There are the other two semi-finalists for the face bracket of the Yin-Yang Tournament! In one corner, we have the masked luchadora from Mexico, La Calavera! And in the other corner, it's the Paroah of Submissions, Cleopatra! Only one of these exotic beauties gets to advance in the tournament! Let's see who it is!"
DING-DING!
The two women locked up in the middle of the ring with a collar-and-elbow tie-up. Cleopatra quickly got behind La Calavera and dropped her backwards with a Russian leg sweep. She then rolled backward over her and applied a dragon sleeper hold. La Calavera launched her knee up to strike Cleopatra in the head to make her loosen her hold before flipping herself over her and reversing their positions. Cleopatra quickly slipped out of the hold before it could lock firmly in and separated from La Calavera.
When the two got back up, they locked up again. This time, La Calavera got behind Cleopatra and applied a full nelson. Cleopatra powered her legs to run forward with La Calavera still holding on until she got to the ropes and grabbed them. However, just as she did, La Calavera jumped and flipped herself over the ropes and slammed Cleopatra's neck on the top rope. The luchadora then climbed back to the apron while the Egyptian was coughing frantically before springboarding off the ropes. She wrapped her arm around Cleopatra's head midair and slammed her down in a DDT. She hooked her leg for the pin.
1… 2…
Cleopatra kicked out. La Calavera grabbed Cleopatra's head with a headlock from behind. Cleopatra fought trying to break out of it, but La Calavera held on tight. However, the Mexican was forced to let go after Cleopatra forced herself back to her feet and struck her head back at her face.
After freeing herself, Cleopatra grabbed La Calavera and Irish whipped her to the ropes. When she returned, Cleopatra caught her with an arm drag slamming her to the mat. She then climbed up to her back and attempted to lock in her Sphinx's Riddle camel clutch. However, La Calavera realized what was about to happen and crawled right out of under the Egyptian just before she could lock in the hold.
La Calavera made it to the corner and attempted to get back up. However, Cleopatra stopped her halfway up by striking her stomach with her knee. She then pulled the luchadora by her arms, rolled to her back, and flipped her over her with her foot. After the impact, Cleopatra hooked La Calavera's leg for the pin.
1… 2…
La Calavera kicked out by using both of her arms to push Cleopatra off of her. She then kicked herself up into the air and landed safely on her feet. While Cleopatra was still on one knee, La Calavera took advantage of it and attacked with a shining wizard. The luchadora kept up her momentum by running to the ropes right after the shining wizard. She springboarded from the middle rope and landed a moonsault on Cleopatra followed by a leg hook.
1… 2…
Cleopatra kicked out. La Calavera then climbed up to the top of the nearest corner and jumped off for a corkscrew 450 splash. However, Cleopatra rolled out of the way letting the luchadora crash onto the mat. The Egyptian climbed up onto La Calavera's back and successfully applied the Sphinx's Riddle. She pulled La Calavera's head back to hard and bend her so far, that the luchadora screamed as she tapped out.
DING-DING!
"Another successful match for the Yin-Yang Tournament! Both these ladies gave it their all, but it appears that the Pharoah of Submissions pulled off a win and advances to the face finals! But are her submission skills enough for the Queen of the Seas? We'll find out next week!"
Cleopatra released La Calavera and posed for the crowd before leaving the ring. The luchadora got up and followed with her head held high.
*Eris vs N-Bomb*
Eris had a tremendous display of presentation during her entrance. With her helmet and cape, she strutted to the ring like a model on a runway. As soon as she entered the ring, she removed her cape and helmet and awaited her opponent.
N-Bomb took the stage right after the Goddess of Chaos. She stomped on the stage like a sumo wrestler before going to the ring. She climbed up the apron and entered over the ropes before slapping her shoulders fiercely.
"Now that we're done with the faces of the Yin-Yang Tournament, it's time to begin the heel semifinals! To start us off, we have the undefeated Goddess of Chaos, Eris, against the nuclear superheavyweight, N-Bomb! Odds are Eris might win again, but N-Bomb is no pushover, so she's going to be a lot to handle! Let's get it on!"
DING-DING!
"Any last words?" N-Bomb asked cracking her knuckles.
"Yes. If I spank your fat cheeks, does your body jiggle all the way to your other fat cheeks?" Eris asked trying to get a rise out of her opponent.
N-Bomb charged to tackle Eris, but the Goddess of Chaos sidestepped. However, N-Bomb grabbed her by her wrist much to her surprise and Irish whipped her to the ropes. When she came back, N-Bomb picked her up by her legs and slammed her down to the mat.
Eris grunted at that. "Wha…"
"Did you honestly forget?" N-Bomb asked standing over Eris. "I'm proud of how I look! Your little fat-shaming insults are actually compliments to me! So here! Have a little taste of my fat cheeks!"
N-Bomb dropped herself, but Eris rolled out of the way. She got up and rested in the corner.
"Dammit." She said to herself. "I totally forgot, my insults don't work on her. I'm going to have to use my head again."
N-Bomb ran right at Eris for a shoulder tackle. However, the Goddess of Chaos dodged out of the way letting her crash to the corner. She then climbed on N-Bomb's back and applied a sleeper hold. N-Bomb tried to force Eris to let go, but she had the hold on tight.
N-Bomb ran backward to crash Eris to the other corner, but she let go and moved out of the way in time letting her opponent feel the full force of the attack instead. She attempted to get out of the corner, but Eris dropkicked her in the face to keep her there. She then climbed up to the middle ropes above N-Bomb and threw punches at her face.
"Take this! And that! Take two of these! And call the nurse in the morning! That's for always working late! That's for having a zip code for a waist line! That's for taking up five stalls in the shower room!"
The referee commanded for Eris to stop her punches, but she didn't need to. N-Bomb managed to regain her ground and pick Eris up by her waist. She then ran a couple steps forward and powerbombed her to the mat. She stayed there to pin Eris.
1… 2…
Eris managed to kick out. N-Bomb stood back up and lifted her from the mat. She held her over her shoulders and spun her around a couple of times before diving back with a senton bomb. But she wasn't done yet. She ran over to the ropes and returned to Eris with a running splash. However, Eris rolled out of the way and countered with a kick to N-Bomb's face.
"How's that for a kick?" Eris asked picking herself up. "Eat your heart out, Queen Bee!"
When N-Bomb tried to get back up, Eris sent her back down with a loud slap across her face. She then grabbed N-Bomb by her hair and slammed her to the mat repeatedly before raking her face harshly at it. She then got back up and went back down dropping her elbow at N-Bomb's head.
With her opponent facedown, Eris took the opportunity to get on her back and apply her finishing Chaos Lock. She strengthened the hold applying much more pressure every second, but she was genuinely surprised hearing N-Bomb chuckle despite her neck being constricted.
"Submissions don't have any effect on me." She said before launching her head back striking Eris in the face.
Eris was forced to let go and N-Bomb rolled herself over the Goddess of Chaos like a steamroller. She then got back up and picked Eris up holding her upside down. She kept her up with her own insults.
"What's the matter? Run out of insults? No tricks? Frog in your throat? Looks like you're out of luck."
N-Bomb fell to her knees landing Eris squarely on her head. Eris collapsed at the piledriver and N-Bomb covered her for the pin.
1… 2… Thre…
Any second later, and Eris' streak would have ended. But the Goddess of Chaos kicked out just in time. N-Bomb picked her up and Irish whipped her to the corner. She then ran at her to attack with her finishing move, Detonation. However, at the last second, Eris moved out of the way and N-Bomb crashed at the corner. Eris then put her in a headlock and ran forward before dropping her in a bulldog. Eris then climbed up the nearest corner and posed for the crowd. She was ready to jump from the top rope.
"HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW?! HOW YOU… AAHH!"
Eris was pushed off the top rope by an unexpected wrestler who followed her in the ring. It was the Skunk putting on a mischievous smile.
"What are you doing here?" the referee asked.
"I'm using my Free Pass to intervene in this match!" the Skunk said. "Add me in now!"
The referee looked up at Sayuri Rogue, who nodded from the skybox. She then nodded and allowed the match to go on.
The Skunk started by using all her might to push N-Bomb out of the ring. She then turned to Eris who just recovered from her sudden fall. The Skunk grabbed her and tossed her to the corner. She ran right at her and struck her with a hip attack. Eris gasped and fell into a sitting position, which is just where the Skunk liked it.
"Time to end this!" the Skunk cried out before shaking her rear and pressing it right at Eris' face. The Goddess of Chaos muffled loudly in the stinkface until her struggles became weak. The Skunk removed herself from Eris and pulled her away from the corner. She then climbed up to the middle rope only to jump and land on Eris in a senton bomb. She stayed there for the referee to call it.
1… 2… 3!
DING-DING!
"WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE SIGHT! I WOULDN'T BELIEVE IT IF I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES! After 37 consecutive wins, the streak of Eris is broken by the hand of the Skunk! She waited for N-Bomb to tire her out before finally interfering when they least expect it and cash in her Free Pass which gave her the right to include herself in any match in the Yin-Yang Tournament! She paid it well and made her mark in Xtrema's history as the woman to break Eris' winning streak! Not only that, but she advances to the final of the Yin-Yang Tournament heel bracket!"
The Skunk basked in the moment incredibly excited as she exited the ring. She looked over at N-Bomb who looked at her with disdain.
"Thanks for softening her up for me." The Skunk said arrogantly as she headed backstage.
On her way out, the Skunk was approached by Monica Everly.
"Skunk! Monica Everly here! You said you wanted to make a statement after this match. Is it to do with what we just witnessed?"
"Obviously." The Skunk answered. "In case you all just missed it, I just broke Eris' undefeated streak the week after Xtrema Against the World! It may not be as glamorous as a pay-per-view, but a win is a win and no one can deny it! I beat her, humiliated her, and broke her undefeated streak, something that no one else has ever, ever done! And to make it even better, I'm going all the way to the end of the Yin-Yang Tournament and winning the championship! And then, the entire wrestling world will take in the smell of my superiority. It's the smell of victory."
*Xtrema Shorts*
Chibi Monica Everly waved to the crowd while Chibi Clover sat right beside her.
"Welcome back to Xtrema Shorts! I'm Monica Everly, and tonight, we are welcoming back the underground brawler with the heart of gold and the current TV Champion, Clover!"
"Say I've got a heart of gold again, and I'll cancel you the fun way." Chibi Clover said pounding her fist.
"Right. Of course." Chibi Monica chuckled. "Well, as you know, we have standard questions to ask you along with personal ones asked by our readers. Are you ready?"
"I've got my mouth, don't I?" Chibi Clover replied.
"All right then. Let's begin. First… Who was your debut opponent?"
"Well, as you recall, my debut was against Artemis Creed at Supernova. Sure, she was a slugger, but I took home the win."
"What's it like facing Kaito Marx?"
"Well, I've never quite faced him myself. Ms. Rogue said it was for his own safety. But still, I could tell by watching that he's a diamond in the rough. Maybe once he grows to be tougher, I can put him to the test myself."
"What do you think of Sayuri Rogue?"
"Pretty tough lady. Certainly a step up from the usual arseholes I used to work for in the underground circuit."
"Who's the easiest opponent you've ever faces other than Kaito?"
"Well, that would be Artemis. She's a tough girl, but without submissions, she's got a lot less in her arsenal than my other opponents."
"Okay then. Now, for our personal questions asked by Awesome ax10. First, after your win against Aoife, a GWM star, will you wish to face others like her?"
"You mean like other GWM wrestlers? Well, sure. I'm always up for a challenge. What I'd really like to do is break that stupid Payne Fox's winning streak.
"Should Scarlette ever challenge for the TV title, what will your feelings be?"
"Well, I wouldn't let it affect our personal relationship. She's a tough lass who's aiming for the gold. Can't fault her there. Still, that won't stop me from holding back on her just 'cause we're friends."
"With Diana Diaz gone, will you be the new muscle brawler of Xtrema?"
"I never really thought of it like that. I mean, I know I'm big and I'm rough, but it's not like I'm not the only brawler with a bit of muscle on her. Poison's pretty built. Artemis Creed has biceps that never quit. Queen Bee herself has a nice set of abs. And Thunder Mana… Well, you know how tough she is."
