Author's Note: Sorry this took a long time. Life's been a bit messy on this end. Anyway, here's the first half of this year's Xtrema Summer Special. Any and all comments are welcome.
Chapter 128 (Summer Special)
Once again, Xtrema and its fans find themselves in a beachside paradise with briny sands, cool ocean waves, and soothing summer sunlight. A wrestling ring with the Xtrema logo on it was erected in the middle of the beach with Sayuri Rogue standing at the center. She wore a skimpy, black bikini, a large, white sunhat over her raven hair, and cool sunglasses with a dark-red frame. She held up her microphone and waited for the beach-ready fans to quiet down.
"Welcome, everyone, to this year's Xtrema Summer Special! We have quite a set of matches full of action, grit, fan service, you name it! And, as usual, at the end of the event, we will host a selection process for you, our fans, to vote on who you think is the MVP of the Summer Special! Now, let's get this beachside event started!"
The crowd cheered as she left the ring to make room for the first match.
*Jun Juli vs Jasper Jones*
The first two women to match up were Jun Juli and Jasper Jones. Jun wore a bright-blue leotard with oil shining off of her legs. Jasper Jones wore a skimpy two-piece that matched her usual wrestling attire's color scheme.
"For our first match, we will have a standard-rules bout between our lady with legs, Jun Juli, and the reincarnated warrior princess, Jasper Jones!" Sayuri announced. "Now, this match will have normal rules only! Pinfalls, submissions, knock outs, count-outs, and disqualifications will lead to either victory or loss for either of these ladies! So girls, let's rumble!"
DING-DING!
Jasper Jones roared like a warrior as she raced toward the waitress. Jun Juli managed to sidestep at the last second and fire a kick to Jasper's leg. The warrior grit her teeth before throwing a punch which Jun dropped herself to dodge. She landed on her hands and shot a double-leg kick to Jasper's gut. She staggered back and fell to one knee. Jun connected with a shining wizard sending Jasper on her back. She covered her for an early pin.

Jasper shot her shoulder up and rolled out from underneath Jun. The leggy waitress ran at her and jumped. She aimed her knees to land on Jasper's feet, but the warrior rolled out of the way letting her knees hit the mat instead harshly. While Jun was stunned, Jasper wrapped her arms around her waist from behind and squeezed.
Jun yelled in surprise. She tried to elbow her way out, but Jasper held her tightly. She then rushed to the ropes and grabbed them for Jasper to let go. Instead, Jasper slipped her head between her legs and lifted her up on her shoulders. She then fell backwards slamming Jun right on the mat. After that, she hooked her leg and laid on top of her.
1… 2…
Jun kicked out of the pin, but Jasper hadn't let go of her leg. Instead, she grabbed Jun's other leg, sat on her back, and applied the Boston crab hold. It didn't last long however. She underestimated the waitress' lower body strength. With a minimal amount of effort, Jun swung her legs straight throwing Jasper to the middle rope. Jun then got up and ran to the far side of the ring. She bounced off the ropes and dropped her knee on Jasper's back. She threw her down to the mat and covered her.
1… 2…
Jasper kicked out. Jun got behind her ready to apply her Ultimate Scissors move around her waist. Unfortunately for her, Jasper was able to stop her. She wrapped her arms around Jun's calves and kept them from locking in around her. She managed to stand up and turn around. Then, while still holding onto Jun's legs, she spun herself around with great force. She carried Jun sending her in a strong circle. Eventually, Jasper let go allowing Jun to crash onto the mat.
Jasper walked over to Jun and picked her up by her arm. She then proceeded to lift her over her shoulder and stretch her back in a torture rack. She wretched the hold earning a yell from her opponent. Jun screamed trying to keep from tapping out.
"Give up?" the referee asked.
"NO!" Jun asked before Jasper bent her further backward. She then raised her hand up before slamming her elbow on Jasper's head. The warrior grunted but didn't let go. Jun shot her elbow again making her loosen the hold a little. She elbowed her one more time before finally being released.
When Jun was free, she landed on her feet behind Jasper and kicked the back of her leg. Jasper fell into a sitting position while Jun sat behind her. She quickly wrapped her legs around Jasper's body. The warrior tried to pry her legs off, but Jun reached her hands out and managed to grab her feet. She pulled at them to add more pressure. Finally, her Ultimate Scissors was firmly locked. Jasper grunted very loudly for a few moments, but after fifteen seconds, she slammed her hand on the mat repeatedly.
DING-DING!
Jun Juli let go finally earning the chance to breath and smile at her victory.
"And there you have it, folks! Jun Juli's sexy legs have managed to earn her a win in this opening match of the Summer Special! It was a tough battle, but Jun isn't on the roster just because of how her legs look. Now, let's be off to our next match!"
*Amazon Aqua vs Mercy*
The next match also took place in a wrestling ring. Only this time, the ring was erected at the center of a large swimming pool. Inside the ring were Amazon Aqua and Mercy. Aqua wore her usual wrestling attire while Mercy wore a short, dark-green tank top which shows off her midriff and tight, dark-green shorts above her boots.
Sayuri Rogue drove near the ring on a red jet ski to make her announcement. "This next match is called a Body of Water match! Here, our wrestlers—Amazon Aqua and Mercy—will attempt to throw each other out of the ring and into the water that surrounds them! This will be no-holds-barred, meaning the wrestlers can go all out to win! Whoever manages to get her opponent out of the ring first wins!"
DING-DING!
Amazon Aqua started off with a running charge towards Mercy. The army girl avoided it by ducking at the last second. Aqua continued running to the ropes, but before she could bounce off, Mercy swung her knee into her gut just as she was on the ropes. However, Aqua had too much endurance to let it get to her. So she shoved Mercy away from her letting her fall onto her back.
Mercy quickly got up and raised her fists ready to fight. Aqua moved in to engage, but she was caught by surprise when Mercy sent a lightning-fast jab into her throat. Aqua coughed violently in response to it before Mercy jabbed her some more times in the head. She then grabbed her by her hair and dropped her in a sitout facebuster.
Mercy sat herself on top of Aqua's back and pulled her head up before applying a dragon sleeper hold. She held on tightly onto her neck bending her backwards inch by inch. Aqua grabbed Mercy's arm trying to pull her off, but she was stronger than she looked.
"Queen of the Seas, my ass." Mercy taunted.
After a few more seconds, Aqua's hand fell limp. Her hands dropped and Mercy could see Aqua's eyes close from behind her shoulder. She released the Queen of the Seas and picked her up by drapping her arm over her shoulder. She carried her slowly to the rope and prepared to send her falling through the ropes.
However, Aqua wasn't as unconscious as Mercy had hoped. She successfully grabbed the ropes to keep herself in the ring, no matter how hard Mercy pushed. Once she was awake enough, Aqua took advantage of Mercy under her arm and pulled her in. She had her trapped in a side headlock that the army girl couldn't avoid. She then pushed her down on the mat and kept the headlock on tight. She hit her with a punch to her head before releasing her.
Once she was back on her feet, Aqua flexed to give the beach-going fans a show. She then picked Mercy up and held her over her shoulders. She walked to the ropes in an attempt to throw her out of the ring and into the water, but Mercy refused to be thrown. She just stayed over her shoulders and shot her elbow at Aqua's head. Realizing she had no chance of throwing Mercy overboard, she went on with the alternative: crashing Mercy back in a Samoan drop.
Mercy grunted as she impacted the mat. She rolled around holding onto her back. Aqua grabbed her head again and proceeded to lift her up to her feet. What she didn't see, however, was how angry Mercy was. She was so furious, she put all of her strength into her fist as she swung it up hitting Aqua between her legs. The Queen of the Seas yelled in pain as she dropped to her knees.
Mercy rushed to the ropes and ran back and hit her with a shining wizard move. She then stomped on her prone body multiple times out of blind fury. She ended it with one strong punt kick to her face.
Amazon Aqua felt her face after the kick and saw a trickle of blood. That's when something lit up in her. She gave a threatening growl just as Mercy was setting up for another kick. However, before it connected, Aqua managed to grab her by her ankles and hold it in place. One look into her merciless eyes, and Mercy herself knew what it meant.
Amazon Aqua had gotten into Shark Mode.
Aqua furiously lifted Mercy up as easily as holding up a handful of grapes. She then ran to the edge of the ring and released her throwing her over the top rope. Mercy had no idea what was happening until after she splashed into the water.
DING-DING!
"Well, it looks like that's it, everyone! Amazon Aqua has solidified her rule over the seas in this match!" Sayuri Rogue announced. "Mercy certainly took advantage of the no-DQ rule, but after poking the bear so much, it was only a matter of time before the bear got her revenge! The winner is Amazon Aqua!"
*Team Spirit vs the Galaxy Twins*
Back at the beach, two teams of wrestlers stood in opposite corners of a ring with watermelons perched on top of their respective turnbuckles along with kendo sticks attached to the backs of their poles. One team was Team Spirit, Isebella and Starla, who wore cute blue bikinis with very tiny miniskirts. The other team was the Galaxy Twins, Carina and Luna, who wore silver, glittering, one-piece swimsuits along with their masks.
Outside of the ring, Sayuri Rogue made her announcement. "For our next match, it's between two of our most energetic teams: Team Spirit and the Galaxy Twins. There will be no tags made here. Everyone is free to roam around the ring. The object of the game is to take your kendo stick and try to bash the other team's watermelon with it. If one watermelon bursts and its not by the other teams' kendo stick, no one wins. Everyone, ready?" All four girls nodded. "Then begin!"
DING-DING!
Starla and Isebella were about to charge at the Galaxy Twins, but Carina and Luna stopped Team Spirit in their tracks by kicking them in their stomachs. They then picked the younger girls up and dropped them in brainbusters. They high-fived each other in celebration before returning to their original corner.
"That was fun." Luna said.
"Stay focused, sis." Carina said. "You gotta distract them while I bash their watermelon for a quick victory."
"I'm always up with handling two girls at once." Luna said. She then approached Team Spirit and wrapped them both in a side headlock for each of them. While she held them in place, Carina managed to unhook her kendo stick and proceeded to Team Spirit's corner ready to bash the watermelon into pieces.
However, Team Spirit saw what Carina was about to do and decided to break out now. Isebella shot her elbow into Luna's stomach giving Starla the freedom she needed to uppercut Luna and make her let go entirely. The two of them then rushed toward Carina and managed to push her over the rope and onto the sandy beach outside before she could destroy their watermelon.
With Carina gone, Team Spirit turned their attention to Luna who stood at the center of the ring. Starla and Isebella exchanged a nod between one another and ran toward opposite sides of the ring. They bounced off their respective ropes and collided with a clothesline with Luna caught in the middle. She was groggy, but she still stood giving them the chance to try again. However, this time, Carina interrupted by grabbing Starla's leg and tripping her. She pulled her out of the ring while Isebella sent Luna down with the only clothesline that happened then.
When Starla was brought outside, Carina surprised her with a kendo stick colliding at the top of her head and knocking her down. Isebella was about to rush to her own corner to get her own kendo stick, but Carina slid her stick in front of her to stop her. She then climbed up to the apron and bounced off the ropes hitting Isebella with a springboard somersault. She then picked her up and threw her out, but not before Isebella grabbed the Galaxy Twins' kendo stick and brought it with her outside of the ring. Carina didn't know it until it was too late.
"Damn it! Those girls are crafty! They got our stick!" Carina said.
"So what?" Luna asked. She went to Team Spirit's corner and detached the kendo stick there. "Let's just use this one." She was about to swing it at the melon there, but her sister stopped her.
"Don't even think about it. The rules say we can only destroy Team Spirit's watermelon with our kendo stick." Carina reminded. She pointed at the stick her sister had, and it had Team Spirit's name written on it. "If we use the wrong stick, we can kiss the MVP position bye-bye."
"Good point." Luna said. "Well, I know what I'll be using this for."
By the time Team Spirit returned to their feet, the Galaxy Twins climbed out of the ring and confronted them.
"Give us our stick." Luna ordered threatening with the other team's kendo stick.
"Make us." Isebella said holding the other stick.
Both teams rushed toward each other and clashed. Luna and Isebella struck each other's kendo sticks with their own while Carina and Starla tackled each other and rolled over the sand for control. The rolling stopped when Carina got behind Starla and applied a headscissors hold on her. Seeing her friend in trouble, Isebella gasped in worry.
"Starla!" Isebella cried out. Her distraction got the best of her. Luna seized the opportunity and struck hard at Isebella's leg. She took the kendo stick from her hands and kicked her down onto the sand.
At the same time, Starla managed to find a way out of the headscissors hold she was in. She kicked her legs back and slipped out of Carina's hold before kicking her in the face. Luna ran at her attempting to knock her down with both kendo sticks she had in her hand, but Starla ducked and slipped behind her. She grabbed both of Luna's hands and twisted them behind her making her drop her kendo sticks. She then kicked her back knocking her over Carina.
After receiving the kendo stick with her team's name on it, Starla headed over to Isebella and helped her up. They then returned to the ring and rushed over to the Galaxy Twins' corner where they proceeded to use their kendo stick to break the watermelon to pieces.
DING-DING!
"Congratulations, Team Spirit! For being the first to break open their targeted watermelon, you two just placed yourselves in the running for this special's MVP!" Sayuri Rogue congratulated. "Galaxy Twins, you fought hard, but c'est la vie. Now, onto the next match!"
