Gwen pov
I was sitting at the table in the RV typing on my computer. Albedo sat across from me working on something, Grandpa was driving, and Jen was taking a nap she had been doing a lot of that recently. The last couple of days had been very peaceful, "It's happening again." except for that. Everyone looked from their respective activity except for Grandpa and saw Jen covered in green energy and floating up to the ceiling. "Jen, wake up," Albedo said, walking over to wake Jen. I turned my attention to Grandpa, we locked eyes in the rearview mirror he gave me a stern look and a firm head shake. I frowned and turned back to look at Jen, she was still asleep on the ceiling, she needed my help.
Ever since Jen discovered Emraled, her anodite form she has been having power leaks and accidental power uses. Everything would be fine one minute and the next minute Jen would be stuck on the ceiling or energy platform would be everywhere. Ok, maybe my saying the last couple of days has been peaceful was a lie. It would be peaceful if Grandpa would let me help Jen, he knows I can.
"OUCH!" "OOF!" I was pulled from my thoughts by a loud thud. I looked and saw Jen and Albedo on the floor. Albedo was on his back and Jen was on his chest still half-asleep. Jen's eyes were glowing a bright green and she was still covered in green energy. Jen shut her eyes and the energy disappeared and she began to snore softly.
"What? No, Jen wake up!" Albedo said shaking Jen lightly. When Jen muttered a protest Albedo sighed and put her back in bed. I sighed and watched Jen while she slept, I really hope she figures out how to control her anodite side.

Albedo pov
I sat back down at the table and continued working on my communication device. I needed to get in contact with Azmuth, especially with the recent developments. I continued working, I wasn't gonna let anything stop me. "Okay, everyone out of the RV." my eye twitched as my hands stilled and I looked up at Max.
He had a big smile and walked to the back of the RV to wake Jen. "Why do we need to leave?" I asked, my tone clearly stating my mood. "We are at a witchcraft museum. It's one of New Orleans's best attractions." Max said walking to the door and Jen trailed behind him slowly. I sighed and followed, only to keep an eye on Jen, her Anodite form was taking a toll on her even if it wasn't in use.
I ran up beside Jen and slowed to match her pace. Jen moved closer and leaned against me, resting her head on my shoulder. This was something I noticed Jen started doing when she was tired, even when there was a bed around she preferred to lean against me. I sighed and wrapped my arm around Jen's shoulder to hold her, I learned arguing with her was pointless.
"Aw, how cute." I grit my teeth and my eye started twitching again. "You are supposed to be watching Megawatt," I said and turned my attention to Bleep. He was flying beside me and had Jen's bag clutched in a robotic claw. I looked at the bag, then back to Bleep, "He is in the bag isn't he?" "Yes, he is," Bleep said.
I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. I took the bag from Bleep and put it over my shoulder, then motioned for Bleep to get inside. After Bleep was in the bag we entered the museum and started a tour.

Jen pov
I tried my best to stay awake, but it was hard. Ever since I got Emerald, I've had no energy and the only thing that sounded appealing was sleep. That wasn't all, I've started hearing Emrald's voice, like when I first transformed into her. It was almost like she had a mind of her own.
Emerald was quiet at the moment, so I just listened to the tour guide. As I listened I started to feel something, it was like some kind of force was wrapping itself around my body. I began to feel energized and opened my eyes. I found myself staring at a book, and I could see some kind of energy coming from it, that's what I felt wrapping around my body. I looked at the long, wispy strands of energy leading from the book to my body. I looked down and watched the energy twist and spiral around my figure, but it looks like no one else could.
"Excuse me, is there a bathroom anywhere?" I asked, and the tour guide looked at me. "Oh, yes, it is that way just follow the signs," she said, I nodded and then Gwen grabbed my hand. "I have to go to," she told Grandpa, and we began to walk the way the tour guide pointed.
We were barely a few feet away from the group, then everyone began to panic. "Whoa!" Gwen and I suddenly floated off the ground and landed on the ceiling. I looked to my side and saw the rest of the tour group was the same. "I don't think this is part of our tour." I heard Max say, then I saw red smoke enter the room. The smoke landed in front of the book and a man emerged from it, and he was creepy.
"Finally, it shall be mine." I heard the man say and watched as he shattered the glass encasing the book. I frowned, quickly pulling up my screen I started looking for the alien I needed. "Perfect," I said and transformed into Ghostfreak. I was a ghost-line alien with white/grey skin, black lines all over my body, and one bright purple eye.
"Hey, ever heard of a library?" I asked and flew down possessing the man. I made him drop the book and ball his hands into tight fists. I brought one of the fists up and aimed for his face, exiting his body before making contact. The man punched himself and was knocked to the ground. "JEN!!" I heard Gwen cry and turned my attention to her, she along with everyone else was falling. "Crap!" I flew over and grabbed some kind of hanging banner and tied either side to a table. Everyone landed on the banner and slide to safety.
"Everyone out!" I ordered and flew back over to Mr.Creepy. He was going for the book again but I flew through his body and grabbed it. "You are an annoyance!" I heard him growl then he aimed a staff at me. He spoke some kind of incantation like what I heard Aunt Vera say, and the banner became ignited by fire.
"Whoa," I flew up and away from the flames. "Oh man, this is not good," I said, I had learned to time the Omnitrix and it was running thin. "Better wrap this up," I said and flew back down to the man and possessed him again. I delivered punch after punch always exiting the man's body before making contact. A few moments later the man was swaying side to side and the Omnitrix timed out. I turned to face the man and delivered one more punch and knocked him to the ground unconscious and causing something to fall from the necklace he was wearing. I picked it up, "Hmm, some kind of charm." I said, just like the book the charm was putting off some kind of energy, I decided to pocket the charm and left the museum as paramedics rushed in.

I entered the RV where everyone was waiting for me. "Welcome back," Albedo said, looking away from her computer Gwen stared at me. "Something wrong?" I asked and sat beside Albedo.
"Nothing, I was just wondering what was sticking out of your pocket," Gwen said, I could see her sweating and her pupils tended to pulse when she lied. Deciding to play along I pulled the charm from my pocket and showed it off. "It fell from the necklace that man was wearing," I said and handed Gwen the charm to look at.
"Whoa, this is so cool." Gwen said, "Yeah, I can feel some kind of energy coming from it, it's pretty cool," I said taking the charm back from Gwen. I was about to put the charm with my other souvenirs but noticed the sad look on Gwen's face. I took a moment to think about everything that has happened this summer, but I decided to take the high road.
"Here," I held the charm out to Gwen. She perked up, "Really?" "Don't give me a chance to change my mind," I said and Gwen quickly took the charm from my hand. "If anything weird starts to happen with that thing tell me." I said and Gwen nodded, "I will, thanks," she said and started to fashion the charm into a necklace or something.

Gwen pov
We were sitting at a table in a restaurant and Jen was falling asleep. She had some more power leaks, Grandpa had to drop the RV off at an auto shop due to the damage. "Jen, you've been so busy sleeping you have hardly eaten," Albedo said stabbing a fork into the last crawl fish on the plate in front of us. Jen despite her eyes being barely open took the fork and ate the crawl fish.
After that, Jen scooted closer and leaned against me resting her head on my shoulder. 'Now is my chance.' I thought and put my hand on Jen's back and leaned my head against hers. I closed my eyes so Albedo and Grandpa wouldn't see my eyes glow. I recited an incantation in my head and an invisible energy wrapped around me and Jen before sinking into Jen's body.
I opened my eyes and lifted my head. Jen yawned and stretched, she looked wide awake and bubbly with energy. "Hmm, guess a little power nap was all you needed," Grandpa said, Jen nodded rubbing the last bit of sleep from her eyes. I rested my face in the palm of my hand and smiled at Jen. She was ok for the time being.

A while later we were walking around a night market. Jen was jumping and spinning around, she was bringing a smile to anyone who saw her. It was nice not seeing her completely drained of energy.
"I never knew a power nap could give someone THAT much energy," Grandpa said, I simply smiled and continued following Jen.
"HELP!!" everyone turned their attention to the panicked voice. There was an old woman and a man was running away with a purse. "Not so fast!" I turned my attention to Jen, she was about to press on her screen but transformed before she got the chance. Emerald stood in Jen's place and flew after the bad guy.
Emerald pov
I flew after the guy that stole from the lady and blocked his path with a mana shield. "Going somewhere?" I asked landing behind him with my arms crossed. He turned to look at me and I could see him go pale.
I held up one finger and pointed to the ground. The guy sat down and I wrapped mana around him, then used my telekinesis to take the purse from him. I flew back over to the lady, "Here you go, ma'am." I said holding out the bag. The lady took her purse and I flew away, I learned to time the Omnitrix transformations. "Can't believe it has a time limit even if it's a takeover," I said and flew into a nearby alley.
The Omnitrix began to beep and I was plunged into darkness. "Aw man," I whined and crossed my arms. "What is wrong with you?" here we go again.

Gwen pov
The RV was repaired and everyone was sound asleep. I looked over to Grandpa, he was snoring louder than a gorilla. At least I didn't have to worry about being super quiet. I crawled out of my bed and climbed into Jen's bunk with her. Grandpa wasn't gonna let me help Jen, and Jen couldn't control Emrald, So it was up to me.
I drew a symbol on Jen's forehead with my mana then put my hands on her back and began to recite another incantation. This was gonna be a bumpy ride but I had luck on my side. I could feel the charm's power surge and it felt great.

The next morning I woke up but I was exhausted. I looked around and realized I was still in Jen's bunk, but she was not. I looked and both Grandpa and Albedo were still sound asleep, so Jen was most likely making breakfast, thank the stars.
I climbed from Jen's bunk and headed to the front of the RV. Jen wasn't making breakfast and the RV door was open. I walked over and saw Jen sitting on the steps tapping away at her screen. I quietly approached and looked over Jen's shoulder. Emerald's sellout was on screen, and Jen was typing in codes and creating some kind of program.
"You are a loud breather." Jen suddenly said and I stepped back. "Sorry, my bad. what are you doing? " I asked sitting beside Jen. "Creating a hold for Emerald," Jen said not looking away from her screen. I raised a brow, what did she mean by hold, and why? Did Emerald do something after I left last night?
My thoughts began to race, I needed more info. "What do you mean?" I asked, Jen finally looked away from her screen and sighed. "I was thinking about Emerald the other day, Gwen, she might have a mind of her own. She takes over whenever she wants and is always leaving me drained. So, I am putting a hold on her DNA, just until I finish the mind projector." Jen said and looked back to her screen. I nodded and was about to question Jen further but there was a loud explosion from a nearby construction sight.
"Uh-Oh," Jen said, she tapped on her screen and her hoverboard appeared. Jen hopped on and headed for the construction sight to help. I stood up and started at Jen as she went, she was gonna need my help I could feel it.
Jen pov
I flew to the construction site and saw two men hanging on for dear life. I pulled up my screen and transformed into four-arms. I was a tall red alien with four arms, four eyes, and short brown hair. I was dressed in a black body suit with no sleeves and a green line going down the center and around my sides to my back. And for some odd reason my gloves duplicated so now I had two pair, but I wasn't gonna complain.
I ran over and magnetized my gloves to one of the metal beams, then I started to climb. I climbed as fast as I could until I reached the men. "Who are you, no, WHAT are you?" one of the men asked, I smiled and grabbed both the men in my smaller set of arms, "I'm the one who is gonna save you," I said. I started climbing back down the build but then I heard a snap.
I looked over, and one of the nearby power lines snapped. My eyes widened and I three the men to safety but wasn't able to get away myself. The broken line made contact with the connector on my back. I screamed in pain and I was returned to my human form. The shock short-circuited all my tech and left me barely conscious. I was beginning to regret putting a hold on Enrald's DNA.
I soon lost what little grip I had and started to fall. "AHHHHHHH!!" I screamed and closed my eyes prepared to hit the ground. "I got you!" I was suddenly caught in someone's arms, but the danger wasn't gone. I big cement tube that was waiting to be in use fell and knocked me and the person from the sky. When we crashed to the ground I accidentally pulled something from the person's neck.
I groaned in pain and pushed myself off the ground and looked at the person who saved me. My eyes widened in shock, the person was an Anodite. She was beautiful, she had pretty purple skin and short magenta hair, and she was wearing a black sleeveless shirt, a black skirt, black fingerless gloves that reached her elbows, a purple belt, purple knee-high shoes, and a black and purple masquerade mask that resembles a cat. I then looked in my hand to see what I had pulled from this mystery person and my eyes widened even more. clutched in my hand was the charm.
"GWEN!?" I cried
Gwen looked up at me and saw the charm clutched in my hand. "Gwen, you're an Anodite, how?" my mind was racing, no longer registering how much pain I was in. "Jen, I can explain everything, I need to explain everything, and believe me there is a lot," Gwen said, I slowly nodded and Gwen smiled. I was about to try and stand but the sky began to darken and a loud crack of thunder made my knees buckle.
"My charm!" a familiar voice roared and red smoke rolled down from the dark clouds. "JEN!" "GWEN!" the smoke surrounded my body and I felt myself get lifted off the ground. "Finally, I will secure my destiny." the voice said and I blacked out.

An hour later I was tied to a tombstone with thick vines. The man who I learned was Hex, was getting ready to destroy all of New Orleans. "You aren't gonna get away with this." I said, Hex looked at me and scoffed, "What makes you say that?" Hex asked floating down to me.
"Easy, Gwen will stop you," I said with a matter-a-fact tone. Hex laughed, I narrowed my eyes at him and boiled in my chest. "Laughed too soon!" Hex stopped and was hit with a magenta energy blast. I looked over and Gwen and Albedo, and they looked mad. Gwen flew at Hex and a fight broke out, while that was happening Albedo rushed over and untied me.
"Jen, are you ok?" he asked, I nodded "Just a little sore," I added. "Jen, Albedo, watch out!" Albedo was quick, he picked me up and jumped back before Hex crashed into the tombstone. I looked around the cemetery and saw the answer to the current problem. "Albedo, over there, quick," I said and Albedo started running in the direction I pointed.
Gwen pov
I just smashed a mana platform over Hex's head, then I heard a whistle. I looked and saw Jen and Albedo standing by an open tomb. I smiled and smashed platform after platform over Hex's head until he was swaying side to side. I then sent him flying into the tomb with a mana blast.
I flew over and pulled the necklace of charms from Hex's neck then we closed the tomb. I found a shovel and destroyed the charms, they were two dangerous. "You sure that was the best choice," Jen asked putting her hand on my shoulder. I turned and smiled at her, "Positive, I got my own power anyway." I said holding up a mana-covered fist. Jen smiled, "Yeah, now how about that explanation." Jen said but then a dart landed in her neck. "Jen!" I caught Jen as she fainted but then felt a dart enter my neck. I blacked out but not before hearing Albedo crash to the ground.

I don't up and I felt so sore, I groaned but climbed out of bed anyway. I walked to the front of the RV and saw Jen and Albedo sitting at the table. Jen had the connector and her body suit in hand working on them. I walked over and sat beside Jen, "What are you doing?" I asked. "All my tech is messed up, not sure how." Jen said, "Dont you kids remember?" Grandpa asked and we all turned out attention to him.
"We were walking past a construction site and that power line snapped. You kids were in the hospital for most of our stay in New Orleans." Grandpa said, I started to think really hard, I could see Jen and Albedo doing the same. "I think I remember that." Albedo said but he didn't sound sure. "We must have some kind of amnesia." Jen said, me and Albedo nodded in agreement. We all then went on with our regular activities, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.
