Gwen pov
I sat on the ground outside, I was checking all my social media for updates. We had to find Jen, So I posted Jen's picture to all my socials along with my and Grandpa's phone numbers. I wrote that she was missing and that if anyone saw her please contact us, but within the two weeks since we saw Jen, nothing had happened.
"Any luck on finding the Omnitrix signature?" I asked Grandpa as he stepped outside. Shaking his head Grandpa rubbed his eyes, he looked exhausted. It wasn't a surprise though, since Jen left Grandpa had spent hours on end getting in contact with other plumbers, trying to find the Omnitrix signature, and he even left Earth to visit an orbiting plumber base, but he always came up empty-handed. I sighed, "What if she took it off?" I asked and Grandpa looked at me.
"What do you mean?" Grandpa asked. "Well, think about it. Back at Mount Rushmore Jen transformed without using her screens, she didn't use any kind of voice command either, she just transformed. Vilgax did return her memories to her, so it's not an impossible idea." I said and Grandpa covered his face with his hands. "If that is the case, things just got a lot harder," he said and I looked back to my computer. Silence fell over us and I closed my eyes, I hoped we would find Jen soon.
"I'll go make dinner," I said standing to my feet but I giant crash stopped me. "WAHH!!" I turned and saw smoke rolling up from the ground. I looked at Grandpa and he nodded, I nodded back and created a mana platform to carry us to the crash sight. "If we're lucky Jen will show up to save the day." I said and Grandpa nodded, "She would do that." he said.
I frowned, he sounded so monotone. I shook my worry from my head and landed us at the crash sight. Once we landed we didn't see Jen, but a girl was standing at the crash sight looking at what had crashed. I examined the girl as we approached her. She had shoulder-length platinum blond hair, she was wearing army green cargo pants, a grey t-shirt that looked big on her, and a black long-sleeved undershirt, and black combat boots. The girl had a black crossbody bag over her shoulder and she looked like she was in a trance. It could not be good for her to be standing here, who knows what actually crashed?
"Hey!" I called out and started jogging toward the girl. The girl turned to face me and I saw the front of her. She had bright blue eyes, her shirt had a skull on it with flowers and roots growing in it, and it was designed in black glitter, and she had a black choker with a silver star charm hanging from it, and she was wearing a bit of makeup. "Hello, can I help you?" She asked and I nodded. "Yes, you need to leave, it is not safe here," I said but the girl stepped away from me, "Hold up, who are you to tell me what to do?" she asked and I started to get frustrated. I was about to use my mana to get the girl out of here but the thing that crashed began to crack.
A giant piece fell off and was falling toward me. My body froze, why was my body freezing up like this? "Move!" I was broke from my frozen state and saw the girl dive at me. I watched as the girl's body began to change. The girl changed into a Pillbug alien known as an Arburian Pelarota. I was blinded by darkness and surrounded by soft, squishy underbelly, then felt us start rolling.
The girl suddenly unrolled and freed me then changed back. "You ok?" she asked, I looked at her and nodded. "Gwen, Gwen are you ok?" Grandpa asked. as he came running over to us. "I'm fine, she saved me," I said pointing to the girl, she gave a small wave. "Umm, who are you exactly?" Grandpa asked, the girl smiled, "Oh, My name is Daniella Lottie, but most people just call me Dani." she said tucking her hands into her pockets.
I was about to thank Dani for saving me but the ground suddenly began to shake. We all looked back and the thing had legs sprouting from its back. "Get back!" Grandpa ordered, he grabbed me and Dani and pulled us further away from the thing.
"It looks like a giant tick," Dani said pulling her arm from Grandpa's grip. "We got more company," I said turning my head to see three aliens emerging from a spaceship. Grandpa looked and we watched as the aliens approached the tick. I looked over to Dani, I barely knew her but she had to be freaking out, even if she is part alien.
Dani had a stern look and she transformed and rolled over before jumping onto the tick's back. "Hey, who are you guys?" Dani asked while she changed back. One of the aliens began to ride his little hoverboard around Dani, "Relax, we come in peace." he said. Dani crossed her arms, it was obvious she wasn't believing that, and neither was I.
"That's what they all say, right before they blow you to bits," I said crossing my arms. "Hmm, an earthling with attitude, I heard they live here in large numbers. Or should I say did." an alien holding an axe, said as he floated by me. "Alright, what are you going on about?" Dani asked, suddenly landing beside me. "We simply speak of the work the great one it to do. Is he not tremendous?" the tall alien said. "Tremendous." the other two aliens echoed. "All hail, the Tremendouse one." they all chorused.
"Ahh!!" we all turned and looked at the short alien. "Quiet, he is speaking to me," he said, we all listened closely, but we could only hear dead silence. "I don't hear anything," I said and Dani suddenly put her hand over my mouth. I looked over and she pushed me.
Dani walked over and pressed her ear to the shell of the tick. "The Great One/ He says your/our planet is going to be purified before the next moon. You are quite lucky." "How is that lucky?" Dani asked looking at the tick and then at the aliens. They paid her no mind and instead watched as the tick fed dark energy into the ground. It spread like tendrils and everything began to die.
"Here, allow me to show you." the tall alien said. "No, not the audio-visual again;" the axe-wielding alien whined. Ignoring his companion the tall alien began to play a bunch of moving images in a pink light. The tall alien began to explain and we all listened, and as the alien finished the planet on the audio-visual exploded. We all started in shock.
"He is going to do that here?" I asked as horror and fear gripped me. "Well, of course, it will be the end of your world as you know it." the tall alien said, he looked so happy when he said it. There was a sudden growl and we all looked at Dani, her teeth were grit tight and her hands in fists. "Like hell, he will!!" Dani yelled and transformed. Dani rolled toward the tick at high speed, clearly planning on crashing into it.
The axe-wielding alien blocked Dani and sent her flying off into the shrubbery. "Gwen let's go," Grandpa said and grabbed me. We started running in the direction Dani was sent and slide down a hill.
Max pov
We saw Dani leaning against a tree looking into the distance, "Run, hurray!" she said sternly. Rustling and movement were heading away from us but it was too far to see. "What was that?" I asked her while helping her up from the ground. "A scared animal, I sent it further away from the danger," she said and rubbed her head.
"We need to stop that thing," she said and started climbing up the hill. "Hm, kinda reminds me of Jen," I said and started following Dani up the hill. "She really does," Gwen added, but she had that suspicious look in her eyes. I decided to pay it no mind, yet at least.
"Whoa! Where did you guys come from?" Dani asked, we looked up and saw purplish-grey tendrils. "The ticks poison it mutating the landscape," I said, and the tendrils then sprung toward us. "Oh no you don't!" Gwen put up a mana shield. The tendrils recoiled and Gwen switched and threw a sharpened mana wave at them. The tendrils were sliced in half, "Quick get on." Gwen said and created a manned platform for us to ride on.
"Dani, why aren't you getting on?" Gwen asked, I turned and saw Dani just standing there. She looked very lost in thought, "Da-" "You two go, I have a plan." she said and quickly explained what she needed us to do.
"Are you sure?" I asked and she nodded. "Trust me, this is gonna work," she said then transformed and rolled away toward the tick. "Alright, you heard her," I said and Gwen lifted us off the ground and headed toward the tick.
"She really does make you think of Jen," Gwen said and I nodded. "She kinda looks like her too. Same face shape, eye shape, nose, and she even acts like Jen when she gets really mad and can't control her emotions." Gwen said and I saw the points she was making, but I wasn't positive. "Grandpa, hold on!!" Gwen said and dove the mana platform down narrowly missing more of the tendrils. "Keep us steady," I said and pulled out a portable plumber weapon from my pocket.
I started firing at the tendrils making them recoil away from us. I kept firing but then heard a pulsing and smelled smoke. "Grandpa, we have a fire spreading and Old Faithful is pulsing," Gwen said, I was about to respond but I was suddenly knocked off the mana platform by an energy blast. "GRANDPA!!" Gwen cried and was quick to catch me with her telekinesis. Gwen pulled me back up and then we made a slight detour.
"I'll clog up Old Faithful, we can stop the fire, then we need to distract those worshipers," Gwen said and I nodded. We headed toward old faithful and turns out the worshipers were there. Things were gonna be really easy or really difficult.
"Heads up!" Gwen shot a mana blast at two of the aliens and I shot the other with my plumber weapon. The three aliens crashed to the ground and Gwen started speaking an incantation that would goop up the geyser. "NO!" axe-wielding alien was back and heading right for us. I was about to fire but he was tackled by...Megawatt and Bleep? "Hey, are you guys ok?" we looked and Dani jumped onto the platform. I was no longer suspicious, I could see it was facts. Dani was Jen in disguise, it was a pretty good one.
"I had to .make a detour, then saw you guys over here. Is everything ok?" she asked, I nodded then Gwen carried us back to the tick.

I landed and Dani transformed, "You better put a shield up, this is gonna get messy." she said then headed toward the tick at full speed. I quickly put a shield up as Dani broke through one of the tick's patches of loose skin. We could see her bouncing around inside. "He is in pain!" I turned my attention and the worshipers were back. Bleep and Megawatt did a serious number on those three.
"Where is the other one?" the tall alien asked and floated down to our level. "Right here!" Dani broke through the ticks shell and it began to swell up and exploded everywhere. Tick goop rained down and I almost threw up. When I heard a knock on my shield I let it down and saw "Dani" dripping with tick goop.
"Everything is ok now," she said looking around at the reviving plants. I walked and put an arm around, "Nice work, Jen!" I said and pulled her hair. I stiffened when it turned out her hair was real. "OW, what was that for and who is Jen?" she asked clearly upset. Grandpa quickly picked me up, "No one, Gwen is just a little power drained. She gets funny." he said smiling at Dani.
"Ok, ...bye," Dani said and walked off, most likely to go back to her family. Grandpa set me on the ground and we started back toward the RV. "I really thought she was Jen." I said and Grandpa nodded, "So did I." he said. We both sighed, "We better get back to searching for her." Grandpa said and I nodded.
Dani pov
"God, she was right," I said as I walked back to my camp. "Dani!" "Jen!" I held my arms open and Jen rushed into them. I hugged her and picked her up off the ground then set her back down. "I met Max and Gwen. They are obsessed with finding you, they thought I was you in disguise." I said wrapping an arm around Jen's shoulder. "Really?" she asked and I nodded. "Heh, shows just how smart they are," she said and I chuckled.
