Chapter 3: Kosmos
Two and a half years have passed since that fateful day. Many things have changed.
-Orochimaru's Hideout-
Naruto Uzumaki was in the training room practicing with his new jutsus. The past two and a half years he had spent under Orochimaru's training had allowed the jinchuriki to become far stronger than he would've ever gotten if he had stayed in the Hidden Leaf. Naruto's hair was longer, but not by much and his skin was lightly tan. He now wore a long sleeved whitish blue shirt that was open in the front showing off his hard pecks and flat stomach and had the Uzumaki swirl on the back.
If you looked closely you could see the seal on his stomach which kept the Nine-Tailed Fox contained and if you looked on the left side of his neck you would see the Curse Mark with the suppression seal around it. He also wore black Anbu pants which ended in black ninja sandals and a purple cloth that went around his waist, but was open in the front and went down to below his knees and was kept in place by a purple rope belt.
He also had a katana with a purple handle, silver blade and a purple sheath which was on the back of his waist and kept in place by the rope belt.
to make sure he would get stronger Naruto willingly subjected himself to medical ninjutsu and forbidden jutsu enhancements. Fortunately, being the jinchuriki to the most powerful Tailed Beast out of them all did have it's perks. With an increased healing factor going for him, Naruto was able to survive the more... gruesome... enhancements and come out of it without a scratch.
Currently, he was practicing with his lightning style jutsus and his target was his shadow clones. During his training, Naruto discovered why the shadow clone jutsu was labeled as a forbidden jutsu. Turns out that when a shadow clone dispels it's memories return to the original. That meant that the jutsu was perfect for infiltration, espionage and training! Things that would take weeks of training to learn only took days with the shadow clones.
"LIGHTNING STYLE: LIGHTNING CURRENT!" shouted Naruto as his right hand became encased in lightning before he slammed it into the ground. An electrical current shot through the floor and electrocuted several shadow clones. A few clones appeared behind Naruto with katana in hand and swung at him. However, Naruto disappeared before reappearing behind the clones that tried attacking him while sheathing his katana. Once the katana clicked into place the clones split in half before disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Naruto looked to see a clone standing smirking with a rasenga in hand.
Naruto smirked as he held out his right hand and formed a Rasengan.
After he began his training under Orochimaru, Naruto decided he needed to learn how to form the Rasengan without the need of a shadow clone because he knew that if an enemy were to destroy the clone before it could finish forming the Rasengan then Naruto wouldn't stand a chance.
So he began the Rasengan training all over again, but this time he wanted to be able to form it one handed like he could in his Nine-Tails: One-Tail mode. So after months of failures and cursing he finally managed to pull it off, however he had a long ways to go before he could master it. Now he had not only mastered the Rasengan, but also mastered the new way to form it without the need of a shadow clone.
The clone with the Rasengan rushed at Naruto with the intent of impaling it's original, however, Naruto ducked under the jutsu and brought up the Rasengan right into the clone's stomach sending the clone rocketing into the roof.
BAM!
The clone hit the ceiling causing a crater to form where he had hit before dispelling. Naruto looked at his handy work and saw that the training room was completely destroyed.
'Judging by how the room is, I'd have to say my power is at least high Anbu level, maybe mid Kage. However, it isn't good enough. Members of the akatsuki were high S-Rank ninjas that was either low kage level or mid to high kage level. And they traveled in pairs. Thought naruto.
At that moment, a Sound ninja appeared.
"Naruto Uzumaki, Lord Orochimaru requests your presence." said the Sound ninja. Naruto looked at the Sound ninja with an emotionless look before nodding.
"Get this place fixed up before I return, or else." said Naruto with an equally emotionless voice as he walked past the Sound ninja and toward the door. The Sound ninja looked at the destroyed training room before looking back at Naruto.
'He's far stronger than Lord Kabuto and almost as strong as Lord Orochimaru. I'm just glad he's on our side.' thought the Sound ninja.
-With Naruto-
Naruto was walking through the halls of the hideout while making his way to Orochimaru's sleeping quarters. 'I wonder what Orochimaru wants. It better be important because it's cutting into my training.' thought Naruto. Soon he arrived at a large door and pushed it open to find the Snake Sannin sitting up in his bed.
"Ah, Naruto, I'm glad you made it." said Orochimaru before having a coughing fit. Naruto looked on with that same expressionless look.
"What is it that's so important that it required you to interrupt my training, Orochimaru?" asked Naruto. Orochimaru chuckled.
"Heh heh heh heh, I know how important your training is, Naruto, but I have a mission for you." said Orochimaru. Naruto looked at Orochimaru with a faint hint of curiosity.
"What mission?" asked Naruto. Orochimaru chuckled.
"Not too far from here there is a village named "the village of kosmos." Said orochimaru chuckling before coughing.
"I want you to go out there and bring me back this special herb it's pink and blue it's Lilly of the bloom." "This flower should help ease my sickness." Said orochimaru chuckling.
"Why can't can't kabuto do it? Ain't he's your runners boy?" Ask naruto in a sturn tone.
"Well you see kabuto is out right now getting the other stuff so I need you to go get the herbs I requested." Said orochimaru.
"Fine, but only so you don't die because I still need training." Said naruto walking away.
Orochimaru smiled and chuckle to himself. "Soon soon very soon naruto you're body will be mine." Chuckle orochimaru as he watch naruto leave the hideout.
-With naruto 20 minutes later-
Naruto walked down the streets of the village "kosmos." It was trashed with destroyed buildings and it reeked of shit. It was in the same environment just like the land of waves a few years ago. But even worse.
Thinking about the land of waves he wondered how they were doing.
Walking done the street he saw old people, young adults and kids sitting on the street in rags begging for money and food. He watched as mothers breastfeed and fed they're kid whatever they can find that was editable.
He saw dogs and cats laying on the sidewalk some even in dumpsters trying to eat. He saw one dog that had white fur. The dog needed a cut bad like very bad.
Walking towards the dog, Naruto kneeled and took out a can of tuna fish. He sat the food down and watched as the dog eat.
Deciding to be generous he took out a kunai and cut the overgrown fur off the dog body.
He patted the dog on its head before walking off. The dog bark in excitement as he watch naruto leave.
Walking through the streets he found a nearby store and decided to enter the store. It didn't have a lot of food in it but it was enough.
"How much for all of this?" Asked naruto.
The man looked at him as if he was stupid.
"Don't waste my time old man, how much for everything here?" Ask naruto again.
"Well um, around three thousand yen." Said the old man.
Naruto took of his frog wallet and opened his wallet. It was stacked filled with money to the point it was about to burst out. He been doing multiple missions for orochimaru which he did to test his skills. He always got paid a lot but he didn't care to spend.
He actually still had some back at the hideout which was in a jar that was almost filled to the top.
Taking out five thousand yen because naruto thought it was a bit cheap for the stuff he was buying he gave the man the cash.
He threw up a similar hand sign before whispering, "multi shadow clone jutsu." Whispered naruto as he clones started putting food in the bags.
"Thank you very much you kind young man." Said the old man with a generous smile.
"Don't think nothing of it." Said naruto as he left the store with his clones before taking a bag of food himself." Took around a hour to feed almost half the village.
He stop near a man who was sleeping on the sidewalk. He only had one shoe on his feet and looked like he haven't seen a bath in decades.
Naruto tap the man, the man shot up before putting his hands up to defend himself.
"Hey are you hungry?" Asked naruto to the man. The shivering man slowly put down his hands to see naruto handing him over a bag of food.
"Y-Yes I'm very hungry." Said the stuttering man.
Naruto hand him over the bag before standing up ready to leave. "Why? Why are you giving me food?" Asked the man.
Naruto looked over his shoulders. "Because I used to be like this too, I used to live on the streets going days without food, and I hate seeing others have to go through that." Said naruto before leaving.
For the first time in two in the half years naruto felt good in his heart. Just seeing people on the streets starving and cold reminded him of his childhood and how he used to be.
He wondered who did this to them and whoever did this was going to pay big time.
-Konoha-
Team 7 stood in the room of the hokage office. The team consisted of sasuke Uchiha the last Uchiha. He was the apprentice of Kakashi hatake who was the team leader of team 7. He wore a short sleeve zipped up white shirt with the Uchiha symbol on the back.
He wore black pants with long black shinobi sandals. He wore a black belt around his waist which he kept his sword. His hair grew a bit longer but not too long where it was too noticeable.
He had sorta of an blank expression on his face knowing why team 7 was called to the hokage office.
Standing next to him was his teammate Sakura haruno. She changed over the years in personality and in strength. She was no longer a useless fan girl. Instead she was similar to tsunade. She wore a sleeves pink shirt. With a bright pink skirt. She also wore black tight biker shorts with long boots.
Her hair was still short but you can see it grew longer.
Standing next to sakura was naruto replacement Sai. He had a blank expression and he looked some what like sasuke. Instead he wore a black long sleeve crop top with black pants. He wore the regular Shinobi sandals with a katana strapped to his back. To sakura Sai was like a robot he had no emotions and his fake creepy smiles threw her off.
Standing behind them was Kakashi temporary replacement, captain Yamato. He wore something similar to the 2nd hokage to cover his head. He had short black hair and wore the basic joinin attire. And had creepy big black eyes.
Tsunade looked at team 7 with a piercing gaze. "This mission is an S-Rank mission."
"With the utmost importance, your mission is to bring back naruto at all cost, and if you can kill orochimaru and kabuto." Said tsunade his her arms on the table.
The team nodded they're heads. "I want you to set out in a hour, this mission will not be a failure." Said tsunade who was confident in team 7 as she watch the team leave.
-With naruto-
Naruto was putting back on his shirt after getting finish fishing for the village. He caught a large amount of fish and knew it would be enough for the other half of the village to at least eat two or one fish.
Now he needed to head over to the field to find those herbs orochimaru needed. The field wasn't far as he was able to see it in the distance. Taking his time naruto walked over to the field before picking up multiple herbs. His senses went out he he ducked under a kunai that was aimed for the back of his head.
Turning around he saw two Shinobis with blank headbands. They wore mask covering they're face. The two wore all black something that reminded him of the demon brothers from the land of waves mission.
"Who are you guys?" Ask naruto sitting down the bucket of herbs.
"You the guy who was feeding the villagers." Said the man anger stitch into his voice.
"Yeah? What it got to do with you? You didn't get any food?" Asked naruto.
One of the man chuckled before bursting out laughing. "You think we care about that crap? This village is ours." Said the man.
Naruto narrowed his eye's at the two people. "So you the ones taking they're food and supplies?" Asked naruto who was getting angry on the inside but was calm on the outside. He needed to control his emotions. It was something orochimaru taught him. One of you're biggest strong points in the ninja world was you're emotions.
"That's right and when we done with you we would gladly take all you're money." Said one of the man as he dashed towards naruto.
Naruto dodge his punch before blocking a high heel kick. He saw the other ninja behind him and decided to grabbed the ninja leg and before swinging him into the ninja who was behind him.
Running forward naruto grabbed his sword before adding wind chakra to it. He swung his sword at the man chest who tried to block with a kunai just for it to snap In half due to the wind chakra. The man eyes widened in fare as he saw and felt the sword slash through his chest. Blood gushing out the large wound.
He felt the ground rumble and turned around to see the other guy with his palms on the ground. The ground rumble and started to Crack. Using his battle instincts he jumped in the air to see a mud dragon shooting towards him.
"Lighting beats earth." Thought naruto as he did hand signs and a electrical fox that was similar to the kyuubi but only had 3 tails shot toward the mud dragon diving through its throat.
Naruto watched as the mud dragon blew up into million of tiny little pieces. Landing on the ground. Naruto felt someone grab him from behind. It was the same guy he injured from earlier. Looking forward he saw the other guy charging up a jutsu. It looked similar to his rasengan, but naruto knew it wasn't the rasengan. The just was white ball of compelling wind ready to kill him. The man dash towards naruto his his hands cocked back.
He grinned before his eyes widened in realization and in horror. He wasn't slamming his jutsu into naruto he was slamming the jutsu into his partner. Naruto had did the basic academy jutsu when you switch with another person.
Naruto watched the dead shinobi drop to the ground. Moving fast naruto grabbed the shocked man by the thought.
"Tell me where all the stuff is or you die." Said naruto in a calm tone just too calm and the man know naruto wasn't joking.
"It's and our bunker with our leader I promise you I'm telling the truth." Said the man begging for his life. "Take me to you're bunker." Said naruto dropping the ninja. "Or end up like him." Said naruto pointing to the dead body at his feet.
Sealing the basket of herbs in a sealing scroll. Naruto walked behind the man with his sword at the back of his neck.
It didn't take long to reach the bunker. "This is it this the bunker." Said the man shaking and shivering.
"Open it." Said naruto pushing him towards the door. It could've been a trap but naruto wasn't taking no risk. The man opened the large doors to the bunker by channeling chakra.
"Good, but I learned something very valuable from orochimaru, never let my enemies live they can come to back to bite me in the ass." Said naruto before cleaving the man head off.
Naruto disguised as the man before walking in the base that was filled with men. It looked like they was building an army but it was nothing naruto can handle. Naruto saw many supplies and food. He was going to kill every last one of them, he didn't kill for the sake of fun like orochimaru but he hated people who took from others who didn't have it.
It only reminded him of his past life. Where he had to live on the streets hide in alley ways, going days without food, sometimes eating from the dumpster. He used to get beatens from the villagers and it was those eyes he received from the villagers. He was terrified of those eyes and the glares that was sent his way.
That was his goal in life, to kill every last person who was apart of the land of fire. He was going to kill every in the village.
Walking around he was stop when someone grabbed his shoulder. He turned around to see a group of man looking at him.
"Hey where's you're partner? Yugo?" Asked one of the man.
"So yugo was his name." Thought naruto.
"I killed him." Said naruto causing the group eyes to widened. Naruto shot his fist forward as a lightning sword shot through one of the men chest, stabbing him in the heart. Naruto removed his disguise showing himself to the group.
"I hate scum like you people." Said naruto as his eyes was red with slits.
He leaped into the air before crashing down with his sword stabbing on the man in the chest. He dodge one of the other men attacks before killing him. It didn't take long until the hideout was covered with blood and dead bodies.
He killed the last ninja as he slit the throat of the men. He walked towards the double doors no doubt was they're leader.
Kicking the doors open he saw a tall man with a mustache in a suit who fell on his ass in fare.
"I give you everything you want, money, women, supplies heel even everything I have." Said the man.
"You just like Gatto." Said naruto causing the man to look up.
"You know gatto? My brother?" Ask the man before receiving a lighting blade through the heart. As soon as he heard the word brother he killed the man.
Creating an army of shadow clones he sent them to grab everything literally everything. Food, furniture, clothes, and supplies. Naruto left the bunker without a scratch on him and without no blood on him.
He returned to the village in sat on a tree as he watched the village in Joy after receiving their stuff. Naruto let a small smile trace his face before vanishing out of sight.
Author notes: this was just chapter to see how naruto is a character. It was to show he ain't just some cold blooded psychopath murder. And he's capable of doing nice things. Also if you wondering the story take place after the kazekage retrieval arc. And we now on the arc where team 7 heads to orochimaru hideout.
