AzureKing: Hey everyone, sorry for the late massive update, heh Let me tell you thanksgiving should be my superbowl cause its nothing but work for me. So I had to waste of day where I had to finished my fics into finishing off my dinner due to some circumstances and had to ddceal with my Bday, which was kinda hard withoout my dad present to spend the day with…since my family and I had to work more to cover the cost of things it was really heartwarming to see thing do their best to make me happy despite the money problem. So now I am here to tell you all the update is ready at least, to my Paterons at my page, thank you so much each donation help with my bills and groceries that help my family. I will work harder to make new fics for you all so please contiuned to support me as best as you can!
This chapter wasn't my best cause I felt like I could take a little more time oon the lore and new elements I added but seems good to my other friends. And by other elements I don't mean anime, cartooons, or games, I meant adding my own spin to the Bloodborne lore. Anyway I hope you enjoy it!
CHAPTER START!
THE PAST
"We are Born by Blood…and we are undone by Blood!" A woman shouted as a classroom of properly dressed young men and women were attending, "We are the ones who deny fate! We cast aside such disgusting notions! We are! We are monsters to demons!" She glared at the youth as she saw only uninterested faces.
"…look!" She said pulled off her top, as many students were ill at the sight, her skin was ripped, torn, discolored, and scars…one could almost see 'Cainhurst public whore' written on her left breast, "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU TAKE MY WORDS WITHOUT CARE!"
"Ugh…!"
"Do not turn away!" The woman demanded of her students. "Bear this image in your mind! YOU!" she pointed to a dark skinned woman, "Why did you join?"
"I came to avenge my mother from the demon lord army killing her!"
"Good seek vengeance!" She turned to a meek boy, "You! Why did you join?"
"I…had no choice,"
"Another good answer, fight to live here!" The woman looked around and saw a blonde child. "And you… why are you here?" The blonde looked at her with silence and darkness in his eyes, and she walked up to him, "Did… you… not… hear me?"

"I came… because everyone I love in my village was killed… raped… or eaten in front of me as a child. I will not forgive them… and I will not stop hunting them until I kill… every… last… one of them…" he vowed as the woman stood in silence.
The woman smiled darkly, "The best answer I heard since I was forced to train the new children…from here on out…it's your duty to kill as many of them… Beasts! Monsters! Goblins! EVERYTHING!"
The word seemed to shatter at the word as darkness began swallowing everything… until a golden eye seemed to stare at the dreamer!

Naruto slowly opened his eyes, a wooden ceiling greeting him upon awakening from his slumber. He slowly raised his arms, looking at the back of his hand.
"Those dreams again…" He muttered silently.
The blonde lay back down enjoying the comforting warmth of his bed. But as much as he wanted to sleep in, there was work to be done.
"Naruto?" A gentle voice said from his side, turning his head toward it, he saw a nude woman sitting up with worry in her kind eyes,
"Oh… Padfoot Waitress…"
This 'Padfoot Waitress' is a young padfoot with brown hair tied into a ponytail, lupine ears, and a tail. While she is currently nude she usually wears a traditional medieval waitress uniform, along with a pair of boots for her job. "You okay?" She said sliding to him, pressing her chest on the side of his body.
"Yeah, I'm fine…" Naruto sighed, softly, placing a hand on hers, intertwining it. "What about you?"
"I'm alright… but don't lie…" she whispered kissing his cheek, "You were screaming at the inn when we made love-"
"Sex… we had sex…" Naruto said darkly, "I… what I did to you wasn't love…" He said with clear self hatred to himself looking at her neck where a particular bad bite mark was still recovering.
Padfoot Waitress shook her head. "No, it's more than that." She said before hugging him from behind, "And we agreed… after the first time we… did that while you were like… 'that'. If I didn't want to help I wouldn't, it hurts but I will do it again for you. Please tell me what's wrong…?"
"…My memories of before I came here are… distracting me." He admitted.
"It's okay to be distracted every once in a while." Padfoot Waitress said. "Whenever things aren't going well, we would want something to get away from it, if only a little."
"…Padfoot…" Naruto said as he lowered his head, "I'm not sure I want to go back… I want to stay here… it's so much simpler. So much less death and pain…" he said softly as his voice trembled.
"I know… you don't have to suffer alone…" Padfoot said softly. "I'm here for you… whatever hurts you, I will do everything I can to take it away…"
"I… care for you my lady…" Naruto placed his hand on her arm that was still around his shoulders.
"I do too…" Padfoot smiled softly. "I will give you everything you've lost."
"…" Naruto didn't say anything, 'That's why I'm afraid…' but looked at the sky, "I should go, your housemates will not be a good thing to do in the morning." He said removing himself, gently, from her grasp as he leaned towards the floor where his clothes were. But Padfoot suddenly pulled him back in bed, despite the fact her heart was shocked as the man skillfully pushed her down as he made sure his position was good to retaliate. "…Sorry…" he mumbled as he saw her frightened face.
"Just… for today…" Padfoot murmured. "Stay with me…"
"...You're sure?"
"My friends aren't coming, they both have long jobs to do… it's the first time in a long time I'm alone." She said hoping he would take it easy and be with her more.
"I see…" Naruto murmured as he felt her hand snaking towards his lower region. "Uh," he stopped her hand, "My heat cycle is…" but groaned in pleasure as her hand continued to move, "You're still… recovering Padfoot…"
"Shhhhhhhhh… relax…" Padfoot hushed softly. "I'll take care of everything…" She says before switching positions so she was on top.
"Padfoot…" Naruto's panting became labored, trying to steady his breathing.
"Ufufu… so lively this early in the morning…" Padfoot giggled as she soon descended onto him.

"So~" Padfoot said as she placed two plates of food, one normal sized and the other was almost ten times as much. Naruto's face was flushed red, still recovering from… accepting a helping hand. "I guess asking you to stay with me the whole day is too much?" She said softly as she pulled up on her nightgown to cover her breasts a bit better.
"..No. I can't…." Naruto muttered. "I need to talk to my old partner." He said as Padfoot looked worried, "It's routine work from my home, they need to know if I want to come back or need more help."
"I see." Padfoot said sadly, but felt Naruto's hand over hers.
"Don't worry. I'll come back to you. I promise." Naruto assured, showing a hint of a smile.
"Pinky promise." Padfoot said, looping her hand so that hers and his pinky were hooked together.
"…I shouldn't do this, but would you like to come with me to see my companion?" He asked as the woman looked shocked and a little happy at this. Naruto never tried to talk about his past or his people before, so this little window made her feel…accepted at last.
"R-Really?"
"...I don't mind." Naruto admitted. "I… could use the company." He assured her with a soft smile that melted, MELTED, the beast girl's heart.
"A-Alright! I'll get changed right away!"
"After breakfast." Naruto reminded the beast girl, much to her embarrassment. The two ate their meals at an easy pace. Naruto would've asked for seconds but held his tongue. As the woman changed into a simple white color dress, they left a large home where they made their way to his destination.
The blonde looked at the woman who locked her arms on his left arm, happily walking beside him. It's been nearly a full six months since they were like this, more than friends but less than married lovers.
Of course, Naruto didn't mind it at all. For the first time in a long time, he felt happy whenever he's around her. "Paddy…" he started with a soft tone, "I… wished to ask if there's something you want for a gift?" He asked suddenly as the woman looked at him oddly. "It's almost a year since we became intimate, I heard from my old comrades that we must celebrate it?"
"Really? It's been that long?" Padfoot said, before looking up at the sky with a finger to her chin. "Hmmm… I haven't really thought about it to be honest. But~ just being with you by your side is already a gift for me." She smiled.
"Are you sure?" The hunter asked for reassurance as he felt he often took too much from her. "Not a trinket or something for your home?"
"Absolutely. You're all I need." Padfoot smiled brightly. Before the blonde could be sure of her choice, he stopped as they reached a dead end, "I thought…" she started only for Naruto to whisper as they lean in closer to the door.
"We are Born from Blood…" he started as the wall started to shift into a skull like face, "and Undone by Blood…" it said before widely opening its mouth to make a doorway. He turned to his lover as he spoke, "Let me do the talking, he's a bit old fashioned."
"Okay." Padfoot nodded timidly, "He's not… dangerous, is he?"
"Compared to me or the active Hunters, he isn't that strong but he is a bit more dangerous than some adventurers," Naruto truthfully said as he helped her into the 'mouth' of the doorway. "Hey, Alchemist you here?" The blonde said as he looked to see a dimly lit room where he saw a workshop, "Must've just made something."

CLANG!
Padfoot ears rang as she saw Naruto using his odd shaped weapon clashing against a… cane? "Stand down…" Naruto's voice was laced with cold frost as the person who swung the cane stepped backwards. "She's… a friend…"
Stepping out into the dim light, was a young man about Naruto's age with medium-length brown hair, his fringe fanned outward and blue eyes. His attire consists of a worn out brown vest that was wrinkled and a black tailcoat that was tattered. His black pants sagged and his black shoes looked uncomfortable to wear.
"I know the rules, I'm a fucking Hunter Noble." Naruto seethed as the teen in front of him stopped glaring at his lover, "I need you to perform some runics on me." Passing him some blood vials, the recent ones from the goblin quests he did with GS saving that female priestess. "Magic blood,"
"Not-"
Naruto for once looked comically annoyed, "Oh please, can you find a C or B rank wing beast for me to bottle its blood?" He jokingly said as Padfoot looked really shocked to see the man she has been intimate with for half a year act more normal than stoic and stone like. "If so, please point me to the general direction to get it…or perhaps you could?"
"Tch…" The Alchemist clicked his tongue in annoyance, swiping the vials from Naruto's hand. "Take a seat…"
"What's he doing?" She said as the young man who moved behind Naruto got a couple surgical tools. "Wait don't-!"
"Relax…" The brown haired teen patiently said, as his tools' tips glowed purple, "I'm etching the pattern inside of his bones, he won't look ugly." He promised, "Although, the process will use less blood if he lets me carve his skin."
The blonde shook his head, "Most people in the frontier see that as a… warning for dangerous people." He responded as the 'Alchemist' snorted at that.
"Sure, if you wanna see it that way. Now hold still and don't squirm." He said, before putting a set of special glasses on, to see the blonde's bones. "What runes do you want set in?"
"Runes?" Padfoot said, looking a bit worried as the two were about to start.
Naruto grimaced as his right hand grip his forehead, not allowing the silence to go on, the Rune maker spoke, "Runes are made for Hunters for a certain edge. Not powerful as actual runes, since we're using a language that hasn't really been spoken in centuries." He said as he made a spinning chill screech as his hand slipped. "Uh, sorry for that, I forgot that your skull is denser than most."
"Hurry…" Naruto mumbled as the teen worked faster but carefully, "This time, Clawmark, Heir, and Moon."
"Alright, just keep still…" The Alchemist sighed as he kept working. Minutes later, he was done. "There… you should be good to go."
"…Never get used to it…" Naruto said almost a whimper left his mouth, which made Padfoot giggle at the idea. "Any leads on the blood you need?" The blonde asked, adjusting his hat hoping it will lessen the headache he has.
"Still working on it, but I'll let you know." The Alchemist said. He then went over to a cabinet and opened it, revealing a plethora of potion bottles filled with colorful yet dull liquids. He took a few and gave them to Naruto. "Here, take these… you'll need 'em for your next job…"
"You're actually taking that name seriously?" Naruto mused as he looked at the fluids. "Not pouting over the fact you're sent to help me anymore?"
"Of course I am. I'm not a slacker when it comes to potion making." The Alchemist huffed indignantly.
"You should consider returning home to join the Stitch Makers rather than join the front lines." The blonde suggested as he saw his lover look at the teens workshop… but noticed the picture that held ten hunters one of which was a stern looking Naruto, "You… kept it?" The experienced hunter said incredulously at the last momento.
"Hinata asked me too." The Alchemist said as he stood next to Naruto, "She's… asking for your health. What should I-?"
"I'm fine and not going back home." The blonde said as the teen nodded, "I'm going to go to the meeting place, I need a scroll."
The Alchemist nodded wordlessly, going over to another cabinet and opening it up. Inside was a multitude of rolled up parchment, which he then took out one to give to Naruto. "Here."
"Wow! Aren't those super rare?" Padfoot said remembering her housemates were adventurers who told her the scarcity of Magic Scrolls.
"It's nothing to be that surprised about. It's just a Magic Scroll, made with Hunter blood and knowledge." The Alchemist shrugged. "Less powerful but gets the job done."
"Your people can make them!?" Padfoot said as she looked between the two, "Why haven't you tried to make them for the cities?! This could-"
She stopped as both hunters' aura turned dark as they spoke almost as if they were brainwashed or possessed, "We don't need the praises of man or anything, we do things to save our kind from the demons… we shall not give secrets where people can misuse them." Their voices mixed, echoed, and almost penetrated her ears as she stood in slight fear.
"U-Um… okay." Padfoot said timidly, as the auras vanished as she relaxed more. "Goodbye mister… uh Alchemist?"
"Hm," Naruto left a hum of amusement as he heard a soft grumble from the man's name", "You could tell her, since you're not a hunter still."
"It's… Kuromu…" He mumbled, looking a bit annoyed yet embarrassed.

The two left as Padfoot looked at the ground as they walked, "It's really true…" she finally said as she walked beside her lover, "You Hunters really say your real name to people…"
The blonde looked at the woman and nodded. He knew that was a strange thing to do. In this world people have two names, their 'Job' title and their 'True' names, the reason being true names hold power to sway the gods. To pray for wellness and safety by using one true name would be able to make the gods more than happy to bestow them… while the opposite of the action can be held true, if you curse the name to the gods then you shall bring misfortune to them even death if one prays hard enough.
Naruto looked at a bare window, barely able to see his reflection…
But… Hunters are immune to the True Name effect.
The blonde knows why, unlike people who are willing to let the gods roll their luck and their lives…Hunters abhor that way of life. Through science and arcane arts they found a way to block off the God's from meddling with their lives. They were willing to die by their own luck and skills, no longer caring for any extra skills or luck that can be given to them.

It is their most sacred saying, their blood has forsaken the lives of others by becoming beasts yet chose to live as humans. In many ways they are more monsters than the beasts outside. It's the reason why Hunters are considered dangerous.
From the fake names they could give them names cause the rumors of Hunters lying to force people to give them money and power since they cannot be cursed by the gods. The blonde wonder… if leaving home was a good idea in the end?
"..Naruto?" Padfoot Waitress noticed Naruto stopping and looked around and realized… it was the same spot she met him all those months ago. The day he was so broken and chose to reach out to him realizing he wasn't as scary as the stories her mother told her about them. "Naruto," she started as the blonde broke his train of thought to look at her, "What are the Hunters really doing?"
Naruto remained silent, momentarily thinking about his next words. "To kill the Demon Lord, to keep people safe from beasts and to… find our peace." He sighed, remembering the goals the Hunters strive for.
"Then why don't they work with the adventures or the armies of the kingdoms? Why hide yourselves from the world where people think you're enemies or tall tales?" Padfoot asked as she never understood, while she saw Naruto doing good work as an adventurer, the other Hunters who passed by treat the townsfolk like trash or care about killing.
"Hmmm… while we have a few goals that align, ultimately our reasonings for those goals differ." Naruto answered. "The happiness that we Hunters seek, those monsters took away from us. And so we do whatever is necessary to take it back. We don't care how long we suffer, as long as we kill them all."
Padfoot felt her body turn cold as she saw the hollowness in her lover's eyes, "Even if it means you all would be considered enemies or worse?"
"We choose our path, some of us… younger than we should." Naruto quietly said as the clouds covered his body in their shade as if to tell the woman he isolated from the light that she is so accustomed.
"I… don't think that's fair…"
Naruto looked at Padfoot in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"I mean… you've been fighting like this your whole life. I can understand why, but…"
"I'll ask you something, what was your dream as a child?" Naruto asked as the woman looked confused, "I promise I won't laugh."
The woman looked a bit apprehensive, "I wanted to be a princess." she lamely said expecting a chortle or even a snort, but it never came. All she saw was a soft smile on her lover's face.
"I wanted to be a hero…" Naruto whispered as he looked to the once mundane sky.

Naruto walked his lover home to where she needed to get ready for the later shift of her job, as he went to the guild hall. Even while spending time with Padfoot, he noticed some of the veteran adventures around as they saw him, he was still early despite the moment he spent with his lover. He moved to the front desk where Guild Girl stood as she smiled a little wider at his arrival. "Morning…" Naruto gave a polite nod as the woman nodded back in earnest. "Any adventurers you need me to retrieve?" he asked as the woman only smiled kindly, shaking her head. "None?" The blonde question softly at the idea.
"None today." The guild girl answered.
"Hmm…" He took a moment to think on the idea, before sighing heavily, he really had no choice but to talk to her. "Very well, please tell Priestess and Goblin Slayer I am going to be away." He asked, grabbing his bag and pulled out a scroll. "I got plans…"
"Wait, they're-"
"Meeting Point Omega!" Naruto said as the scroll lit and Naruto suddenly disappeared, much to the Guild Girl's shock.
"A scroll…" She said noting how brazen Naruto just used it in front of everyone even though it was an expensive item to sell. "I hope," She started noting the look of anger in his eyes before he vanished. "He's ok…"

Naruto appeared in a flash of light, opening his eyes after he had been transported to his destination. He checked his surroundings, confirming that indeed it was the place. "Alright, time to find them…" He muttered, before trudging forward.
He was in a forest at the highest hill to see most of the treetops as he heard beautiful music playing.
"Hm? An ocarina?" Naruto hummed to himself, hearing the sweet high pitch and low tones of a wind instrument, the vibrations making a wonderful sound that was admittedly pleasing to his ears. "Tayuya?" He said. The music stopped as he looked up to see a wild red hair color woman looking down from above.
"Oh Naruto, about fucking time." She said jumping down as she walked towards him pocketing the instrument to a makeshift wrap on her jacket side, which was the exact same design as Naruto's attire, save for being brown and cover in red blotches of dried blood,
"What are you doing here?" Naruto inquired the red-haired girl.
"Traded my shift with Sora to take your report on the frontier, had to see my rutting partner here." She said leaning up and cup his chin to her hand as her face turn red from arousal, "Mmh, you seem like a man who just fucked a mother… how about a quick-"
Naruto's hands clutch Tayuya's hand. "No…" he warned as his hand started to produce more power as one could hear bones straining to break.
Tayuya chuckled, "Alright, alright, I was just fuckin' around." She said, before Naruto let go of her. "News?" She stabbed her hand with a blood syringe and inserted the red liquid into her.
"The Goblins and other beasts are on the rise on the frontier." Naruto shook his head. "At least for now, me and another adventurer named Goblin Slayer who helped kill a nest and where I sent some of the new recruits after taking the rest to the church."
"Oh yeah, I heard about that fucker. He's the real deal when dealing with that kind of shit." Tayuya remarked, "Also the new recruits aren't anything special, worst they can be are comfort girls or future Stitch Makers later after their Blood Transfers."
"What about you?" Naruto inquired the flute player.
"Well, you're in luck. I got three targets waiting for ya. One of them you know pretty well." She said
"Hm?" Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, he's your former teacher on magic items and hunting Hunters…don't…be surprised if you know him." She said passing the first slip of paper as Naruto took it and eyes widened in disbelief.
Clutching the paper he glared at her, "Lies! He wouldn't betray us!" Naruto yelled, losing his usual calm and cool nature, "Itachi wouldn't join our sworn enemies!"
The paper he held told him this.

"Look, I fucking hate it too. I don't wanna believe it either. But orders are orders." Tayuya shook her head. "And there's more. Apparently, he joined a pair of brothers that visited his area, but never reported back, so you'll have to kill them too."
"Were they the reason he defected?" Naruto growled.
"Hell if I know. Which is why you can beat the shit out of them for answers." Tayuya shrugged.
Wham!
Tayuya's eyes twitched in pain as Naruto pushed his arm on her throat, "Answers…"
"…Father… Gascoigne…" Tayuya managed to say as the blonde gasped, releasing her, "Cough! Fucking… the brothers were sent to kill another Hunter, we assume they were killed as they sent a magic message saying Father Gascoigne was assisting them."
"But he's retired…" Naruto said, worried as he had a memory of an older man patting his head during his time back home, "Isn't that against the rules?"
"Doesn't matter, remember? We live and die due to our blood. Besides he is a veteran for a reason, anyone who lives past fifty is a goddamn monster even when they become domestic." Tayuya murmured as she rubbed her neck, "Could at least pat my cheek before you deep throat me, prick…" she glared at him.
"..." Naruto didn't say anything as he turned around to leave.
"The fuck are you going?"
"I'm doing my job, unless you've sent other Hunters here. I'm the only one who is able to complete the hunt." Naruto said as he turned to see nothing… before growling in arousal as he felt slender hands around his neck.
"Cmon you gotta be itching to fuck something beside some village girls right?" Tayuya words whispered in his ear, "I bet they can't stand more than few minutes before they slump from pleasure."
The sound of something clicking made Tayuya raise her hands, "Backing off…" she said as she saw Naruto had a gun on her navel. "Be wary, in case there is any of them as the target."
Naruto didn't say anything, before moving the gun away from her stomach before turning around and leaving afterwards. "…" he stood still as Tayuya nodded sadly. "I'm not broken… I left to do good work rather than wait around."

Hearing only the winds blowing around her, the red haired woman looked up as she sighed, "Believe me whiskers… I know that all too well…" she said, taking her own scroll, "Home base." She said banishing in a dark purple fire engulfing her being.

AN HOUR LATER

"…" Naruto gritted his teeth as he held a large weapon as he only used the scope to get a better view of the land. "No leads," he said, only to see a group of female adventurers walking around the forest. "Hmm…"
Retaking his focus on them he saw something…
A lead….
An hour came by as he stood in his spot high in a tree, stalking the girls with his view. Soon watching the leader of the female group pick a corpse, "…" he didn't say anything as the girls were surrounded by the goblins. 'If I leave them I can just let the goblins hurt them and find my lead from the leftovers the monsters would leave…' his mindset reminded him this would be the best way and causes less usage of his items.
"Gah!" The leader was knocked out when a goblin above them knocked her out as they started to swarm.
Leave them and get the lead…
The priestess was screaming as two goblins held her down…
The mission comes first….
The sight of the ranger was easily heard as the blonde rage slowly boiled.
'Tch dammit…!'
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Hey you idiots get in the shack now!" Naruto shouted as the girls who were saved as the blonde took amazing sniper shots from his spot, nearly ten meters away and higher than the goblins were! "Wake your leader and keep the door shut!"
The girls didn't argue as they took their leader away from the goblins and towards the shack, closing the door after.
"Goddamn, I just made these bullets…" Naruto said as he jumped from branch to branch as he took more shots as he tried to make his way down. He then heard clicking when he pulled the trigger and smiled as he tossed the gun into the air, grabbing the butt of it and slamming into the nearest goblins forehead painting the rundown shack wall with blood and skull bits!
"Alright…I got fifty left…" he said watching the little bastard swarming around him, taking out his unique saw like a weapon, he knocked on the door to the shack. "You stupid idiots ok?"
"…Yes, but our leader is still-"
"Don't care…" Naruto said as he pulled out a small glass vial, "Hold your breath if you see any gas enter the room…" he said slamming the glass to the ground, shattering into pieces as a blue haze spread through the area. "Blue Moon Poison…" he said, taking a step back and sat on his rear end as he saw the goblins slowly approaching him.
"That's it… get closer…" Naruto narrowed his eyes at the goblins.
Soon…one grabbed a nearby rock and killed its closest neighboring goblin, soon more and more became more interested in killing each other than Naruto as he counted the numbers.
"Forty-one…thirty-four…Twelve…five…" the blonde said as the haze faded as he stood up and rushed toward the remaining ones and began his small bloodbath.
Around, the feeling was nothing but the deranged smiles of the crazed goblins, "A poison to make you so happy to see your friends you killed them." Naruto said as the poison he had was a rare form of drug that was made for enemies to become chaotic so he can get some time to escape. But it works well to cull monsters to avoid too much of his own supplies.
He turned to the shack and knocked on the door, "...They're dead…" he said as the door opened and grabbed his leather jacket to pass it, where a girl quickly did as he stepped away. The girls slowly came out one by one, undoubtedly shocked by all the bloodbath the goblins themselves made.
"You…" Naruto pointed at the leader who looked worried, "Your sword…" he made his finger curled, beckoning her to give it. The leader immediately replied as she handed the sword to him, to which he took and examined it. "Old Blood of the church…where did you get this?"
"An old man deeper inside the forest saved us from a terrible monster…" the leader said as the blonde looked down, "He was alive and had two others who came to help. But we needed to take down the goblins…although now…" she looked at the sight. "We…we would have…"
"Learn from it…" Naruto nodded, before returning the sword to her. "Do you know where in the forest you saw this old man?"
"In… that direction…" The leader said, pointing further north.
He didn't say anything as he walked towards the direction, but stopped, "Next time you think about goblins being easy… look at her…" he pointed to the nude priestess who looked down in shame. "And then make your choice."
The rest of the party looked down as well, before Naruto finally took his leave. He has a hunt to complete.
The blond watched as the forest started to get darker as he barely got to the location the girls told him, "Hmm…"
*Crack!*
He swung his blade towards the sound that came from his left and was surprised to see a worn down short sword meeting its semi-dulled edge into his makeshift weapon, "Oh…" The voices said as Naruto met his gaze to a steel helmet with vertical metal slits. "Goblin Slayer."
"Hunter Naruto…" The man greeted back as the two took a step back and looked at each other with a serious expression. "The Guild Girl told me that you were out."
"Follow up meeting with a fellow hunter." The blonde responded by adjusting his jacket to show his face to his comrade. "What are you here for?"
It took barely a moment that those words left his mouth that made the two say in perfect unison, "Goblins…" Soon he turned to his neck to see someone that was definitely surprised to see next to his fellow adventurer.
"Lady Priestess," Naruto started as he bowed his head to the girl who tried her best to prevent him from doing so. But this wasn't for her from some misplaced courtesy, it was respect despite working with Goblin Slayer for some time now, "Unfortunately I have dealt with the Goblins and saved an idiotic team of adventurers on the way."
"I see." Goblin Slayer said as his friend from behind looked worried as Naruto's face didn't seem to be in a good mood.
"Sir Naruto, are you ok?" The holy girl asked as the blonde sighed.
The blonde pointed to the direction he was headed, "I have to do something for my fellow Hunters," He explained as the young Hunter balled up his hands. "It might be…a clean up job."
The girl was clearly confused but the Goblin Slayer knew from what Naruto meant that it only meant one thing, 'Everything is going to die or will be dead by the time he's done.' "Let me help."
"I shouldn't." The blonde responded as the man in the worn down armor stood in place.
"I offer," He turned to the Priestess who nodded, "And she also wants to help."
The blonde merely redid his jacket to cover his face and nodded with air of finality, "Don't charge in without my permission, Hunter's are also in this, don't want you to be in the crosshairs of my team."
They nodded as they followed into the forest with Naruto leading in, soon…it became tense as they saw blade marks and blood slowly rising with each passing moment they were getting closer. "This is…bad." Priestess said with a worried expression on her face.
"…an ax." Naruto mutters as he sees the weapon that made these particular strikes. "That means the old man is ok." He sighed as the others seemed confused on his words, "I received word that an old Hunter was here to help."
"Is he reliable?" Goblin Slayer asked as the blonde turned his head to smile.
"One of the best, Old Hunters, is basically immortal on the battlefield." He surmised before they heard groaning and all got ready for a fight. They move closer to the sound to encounter a bloody spot where it was covered with large amounts of giant leaves. "We are made from blood…"
"And…*cough* undo by blood," The voice said as Naruto moved and undid the camouflage to see a hunter wearing his exact clothing in front of them, with a large gaping slash mark exposing his chest as Priestess was about to perform a Miracle to save his life.
"No, I already used a blood vial to coagulate my wound, it would take some time before I can properly move again." He assured the girl of her limited usage of them before looking at the blonde, "You're…Minato's son?"
The blonde looked at the man emotionless as he nodded, "We were attacked by a beast and…my partner escaped out of fear of facing him. Father Gascoigne bought me some time to heal, but he took a lot of damage." He grasped the blonde's arm, "Please…help him! He's one of the people who gave us outsides any respect, he's…" he trailed off as Naruto placed the leaves back on his body.
"Is he…?" The blonde religious believer asked, wondering if he was too far gone for his medicine to work.
"Passed out, he took a lot of damage before we came.'' Naruto said, sighing in slight relief on not having to bury another brother in his encounter. "Follow me, we have to make sure if the two are alive."
"Will the one who left face repercussions?" Goblin Slayer asked as the blonde stood in place, the silence was enough for the hunter of Goblins to nod in seriousness. "I apologize if I go too far."
"No matter," The blonde male said as the two moved past some thick trees to discover ruins that were so close together it seemed like a maze at first, "Follow me."
Soon the trio heard wet sounds as if someone was mashing meat into a fine paste, Goblin Slayer stood in front of the girl as Naruto looked back at him, he lifted a single finger before pointing to himself. 'I will go.' before pointing to the corner where the sound was coming from, getting a nod from his partner on occasion the blonde did so.
Arming himself with his usual saw-like blade and odd silver contraption on his left hand, he walked down with careful steps to prevent any misplaced sound leaking out his position and saw something that made his heart sink slowly. Nearing an area where it seems to be an odd graveyard of sorts with trees and many stone figures that could be the equivalent to headstones made the blonde realize one thing. 'I'm too late…' he thought as the person he was looking for was in the middle, raising his right arm in a slow but careful manner as he struck a nearby body with a heavy ax.
"Gaaaaaah…" He breathed out with a beast-like growl as he stop his actions and caused Naruto to tighten his grip on his weaponry. "Beast all over the shop…" He said as he stood straight as he slowly turned to the blonde hunter, "Soon, you'll be one of them, sooner or later." Naruto saw his face and his frown grew as he saw the face, graying unkempt hair, a tattered white blindfold that only made his appearance all the more frightening, a large black hat to keep the rest of his face hidden.
"Forgive me…Father Gascoigne…" The blonde made a prayer sign of respect to his comrade, "Don't get close to him and add me from the back!" The blonde roared as he rushed forward as did the older hunter who copied him. The two were in striking range of each other until both rolled forward, Naruto kicking the floor hard to escape a heavy upwards slash from the crazed man.
"He's strong." Goblin Slayer admitted watching dozens of stone fragments hitting the air from the man's powerful attack that shattered the stone ground they were on. Taking his ally's words seriously he grab a bow he kept on hand to take aim, as the blonde hunter stop taking side steps and went in with a right sweep of the man's chest spilling out massive amounts of blood, shocking the girl nearby on how much a man can bleed…and still keep going as he ignore the attack and tried to cut naruto down with a swing of his ax going downward.
"Geh…" naruto growled as his instincts told him to go pressing the attack, but knew compared to others he fought that this Hunter strength was abnormal by their standards. Jumping over a slash he took his metal weapon and took aim, *BANG* The man screams as Naruto blasted his forehead but unlike the Goblins, the blonde could see from the corner of his eye the shell fell without penetrating the skull. "Now!" He should as Goblin Slayer let the arrow go through the man's hand that grasp the ace he had.
Stumbling, unable to focus, he howled loudly, spreading his arms wildly as the blonde saw the large gash in the enemy's chest. The blonde landed on his feet as he leaped forward thrusting his hand into the man's chest ignoring the shout of absolute pain that Father Gascoigne as he reached deeper into his chest and felt the object.
He grasped it hard as the man coughed up blood that covered the blonde's eyes, who looked sad and pulled his hand away, watching the man slump down and fall face first to the ground. "Sorry." Was all Naruto could say as his two friends came to his side. "Thanks, your arrow was able to let me do that attack, he was in so much pain that he forgot that I can go for a Visceral Attack."
"Visceral?" Priestess echoed as the blonde lifted his bloody hand.
"A Critical skill to be a Hunter, when stunning them with good amount of damage or this…" he lightly pat his gun, "Then we go for a cut that we made prior and reach into the flesh to tear off anything we can grasp ahold of." He turned to the still body of the experienced hunter, "Normally…I was supposed to pull out his heart but I crushed it instead. I felt that he deserved that much to look complete at least than in pieces."
"T-That's…" The Priestess muttered in horror.
"It gets the job done."
"Yeah…" Naruto turned to them not noticing the body that was below him stir softly, "I never enjoy taking down my own friends."
"What caused him to be like this?" The religious girl inquired as she took her eyes off the body.
"I think he went mad with blood." Naruto muttered as he knew only three ways to become like this, Blood Drunken state, losing one's mind or becoming mad by the process of a certain type of blood. His eyes widened when Goblin Slayer pulled to the side and stabbed the corpse with his short sword!
"You bast-!" Naruto started until he saw the body of the Hunter he just killed slowly stirred up as the man growled and soon mist came from his body, "Hold on!" Naruto said he picked up the girl who blushed at his brazen gesture and ran back as a powerful aura caused the two males to barely withstand the essence as now the Hunter in front of them was no longer a man…but a beast!
He stood, formally the man known as Father Gascoige, was a bipedal werewolf creature with the same hair color as he was as a man, "His blood made him into a beast." The blonde spoke as his mercy caused this.
"Is he still-" Goblin Slayer was sent flying as he crashed into the nearby wall as he barely blocked the beast upward claw strike.
"No… he shouldn't be… even if he were, he'd be a walking corpse .."
The blonde looked at the Priestess, "You have anything beside that Bright light spell?" he said as the girl nodded and whispered to him. "...Use it when you think we need it, be absolutely sure." He rephrased as the blonde took his saw into his hand and sighed, he adjusted the metal handle on the weapon soon with a powerful clicking noise his weapon was fully length out into a makeshift sword! Grabbing with both hands he dashed as he slid underneath the monster, slicing its ankles deeply as blood pooled.
The monster tried to stomp on his body only for the blonde to use the teeth of the weapon, to bite into the corner of a wall and pull himself away. Naruto quickly stood up as he adjusted his stance, "Shit…" he said as he looked down and saw his left leg was cut. He easily dodged the attack that the beast tried to thrust forward its claw hand, the blonde used his weapon's shaft.
"He's leading it." Priestess said watching how the blonde was gathering a good pace despite getting small injuries. "He's used to fighting beasts like this man."
Naruto spun around as he slashed the monster's back only to look surprised as the fur grabbed his weapon, "Shit!" This made the beast jump back and crush Naruto to the ground before rolling off the blonde and stabbing its claws into his stomach! "GAH!" he said, grabbing his gun and cocked the weapon. "Die!" He shouted before the beast bit down on his wrist, but it didn't make the blonde lose his focus as he tried to point into his mouth.
Goblin Slayer immediately rushed in, short sword in tow, as he jumped up and stabbed the beast in the back. "It won't go through!" he gritted as the action was hard but the blonde glared at the man.
"My saw! THE MOUTH!" he cried when he heard a snap as his hand dropped the weapon before using his free hand to keep the beast's mouth from escaping! Goblin Slayer grab the blonde's Saw Cleaver and realizing what he meant, got on the back of the beast as Naruto let go making the beast unclamp on his wrist to bite the young man's head…that is until goblin Slayer intercepted by making it rush mouth first into the sharpened teeth of the saw!
"Push!" Naruto ordered as he and Goblin Slayer pushed the monsters head and the blade as the beasts gargled in pain as the two, to make sure it worked, shifted the things they were pushing side to side. Blood spilling on Naruto as they slowly went deep into the monster's flesh and skull as they two ignored its howling and gagging sounds until it stopped its movements and limply laid on Naruto's body.
Goblin Slayer pushed the creature off Naruto as the blonde shakily stood up as he glared at the being, "...Why didn't you fight it harder…?" he asked as if Father Gasconige could hear him, although he knew the temptation better than anyone.
"Are you alright?" Goblin Slayer asked.
"...Yeah, I'm fine." Naruto stoically said before looking at his limp right hand, "Gonna make a healer back at the town really happy for this fix." He said as the two were about to head towards the Priestess who pointed her staff at them. A light emitted from her staff and washed over their bodies.
"PROTECTION!"
The two turn to see the beast crash its claws into a wall of pure light as the two limbs snap from the attack it did, "AWWOOOOOOO~!" it cried loudly before falling to its knees, body once more covered in mist and now ashes covered it until a thud could be heard and the body of the old Hunter laid there.
"It was still alive… how…?" Goblin Slayer muttered, despite his calm demeanor hiding his shock.
The blonde walked towards the man carefully flipping him over to see a kind smile on his face, "...Hunter's blood can make us into beasts…depending on what blood you killed on your first hunt before the ritual to make you a true Hunter. Father Gascoigne killed a five decades old Werewolf lord as his blood fusion, those bastards are relentless and supposedly can pull themselves from the brink of death to kill its prey." He said smiling at the man who looked normal, only that he was truly dead. "Come out now…" Naruto warned as the two adventurers looked behind themselves to see the Hunter who was unconscious walking towards them with a foul look on his face… tossing down a young man, who looked a bit younger than the Priestess on the floor.
"I found the prick who abandoned me." The Hunter said as Naruto looked at him, "We were send to kill a C-" he stopped looking at the two adventurers before resuming, "A rouge Hunter and Father Gascogine offered his help, but we were lead to a trap where a monster got me bad and also almost killed him… while this fucker let us for dead." he said as the teen shook his head.
"I-I was gathering information! I was going to come back!" He said clutching at Naruto's legs, "Please Lord Naruto, you know I would never-"
*WHACK!*
"Shut up, ya mug!" the Hunter snapped, "...Father seems to have used his entire blood supply before he…lost to it." He said as Naruto looked at the man's coat to see no vials on his person and nodded. "Naruto…with your permission let me execute this traitor!" He said, showing the group his own silver contraception.
"No! Please don't! I don't want to-"
*WHACK!*
"I said shut up!"
"Hans…" naruto said before looking at the teen, "Let him go…" he said as the man was going to argue until Naruto's empty eyes glared at him, "Well?"
"...Sir." he said in defeat undoing the young Hunters who looked happy and thank the blonde by a hug… as he walked away Naruto drew his weapon as Priestess eyes widen as she tried to step into the path of the weapon, only for the other Hunter to grab her to prevent this from happen…the blonde pulled the trigger as the young hunter was shot from the back of his head and slumped to the floor with a unceremoniously thudding sound.
"Death…to all who abandon their brothers." Naruto said with restrained hatred as he kicked the corpse hard, "We lost a brother because of your cowardice!"
"W-Why did you do that…?" Priestess whimpered. "How could you…"
"It's…the way of the Hunters." The last member of the team muttered, "We hold strict rules and blood vows. Victory or death are our only choices," He said as the blonde nodded, "He left us to die while we tried to survive and finish the fight." He was about to grab his own silver weapon until Naruto held his hand to prevent him.
"You did well…go home with Father's body, let his wife and child bury his body." Naruto said kindly, as he placed a hand on the man's shoulder, "Don't take the life of your own brother. Just because you survive when others don't is not a shameful act, you become better than today."
The man lowered his head as Priestess swore she saw tears hitting the ground, "Sir, may I, ask for a few days for personal time to tend to Father Gascoige's family?"
The blonde didn't answer but patted his back before leaving a scroll behind for him to return home, "We're leaving." He said to the two who nodded, the Priestess looking over at the young hunter's body and the weeping one who they left behind.

A couple hours passed by as they stopped at a nearby village where Goblin Slayer gave his word that Goblins were dead, as well as meeting the Adventurers Naruto saved earlier who thanked him but were ignored due to his foul mood.
Reaching the gates to the town, Naruto looked at Priestess as he spoke, "I'll escort her to the temple, you can go home." He promised to the Goblin Slayer who only left when the girl promised to be ok with the blonde, after receiving that confirmation he left the party to return to his home and make sure someone was safe.
The two blondes were left with each other as Naruto walked silently in front of her, "Does it happen often?" he heard from behind as the girl asked him that question, stopping as she continued, "That…you have to kill your own people from becoming monsters or breaking rules?"
The blonde looked down softly as he turned, "I don't know about the Earth Mother Religion…but what happens if you break your tenets?"
The girl took a moment to ponder, "If it's not a serious testament or vows, you must pray for forgiveness." She said remembering her own training as a Sister to uphold her vows and making constant mistakes to pray to the night to redeem herself. "But those who willfully break the serious ones are cast out from the temple and even lose the love from the Earth Mother entirely."
The blonde nodded as he looked into the sky, "People call us monsters, human traitors due to our Name being able to speak as freely as we can breathe air." He started before looking sad at the girl, "But…we're human too, we want a world where we can see flowers and live in perpetual peace. But how can we risk our lives or do things that most people cannot if we can't even uphold our sacred rules and oaths? If someone breaks them, then they think they are above the law and our rules. What will happen then? Radicals and schemes that undermine our goals for the annihilation of demons entirely. So we kill our traitors in a swift manner, yes, only to prevent others from suffering from possible ideas of loose morals. That is why we do these things, Lady Priestess, it's not how we want to live but it's how we must live."
The girl watched as Naruto truthfully said his way of life but even though there was some…amazing pride from his words, she still didn't get her answer. "Does it…happen often?" she asked as the blonde cracked a broken smile.
"It gets easier if you pretend the number of people you wish to save is greater than the ones you kill." He said as the girl took a step back, "Forty-seven times now, most of them were mercy killings but I still took my fellow Hunter's lives." he said, clutching his hands, "But I will remember them all, even if God hates me, I will never forget them! Traitors or not, they are my brothers who once dreamed the same dream as I!"
"And…what dream is that?"
"To live with you all as people…not as Hunters."
"You…yearn to be free then…" She said as the blonde shook his head.
"We are free, but at the same time, lost in this journey." He cryptically said as he left the girl in front of the temple, "Pleasant Dream, Maiden of the Gods." He said as the blonde looked at the sky and smiled. 'A fleeting dream is often the best one to have…a dream where even a monster like me can have…right, Nee-san?' He thought to himself as he went to Padfoot's home.

Naruto reached the house of his lover, "I'm home…" he knocked softly where his lover opened to show her wearing a see through negligee, "…Are you trying to regain my heat cycle?" He clearly was aroused by her outfit.
"Sorry, I thought you weren't coming." She said comically trying to hide her body. "Is everything ok?"
"I had to…say goodbye to a friend." He said as the woman looked worried, she knew that meant he had to end someone's life. "I just…I want to see you then walk away."
"I…see…" Padfoot said, then reached out to hug him. "I'm just glad you're back safe…" she pulled him into her home, "Be a little quiet, my roommate, the big one, came home. Follow me…" she said as they quickly and quietly moved to the upstairs where her room was.
Entering her room, the woman wrinkles her nose, "Naruto you're…"
The blonde realized what she meant, using a scroll he whispered, "Purified." A small light washed over him as the smell of blood and earth washed off him. "Sorry, I'm so used to blood that it almost comforts me."
"I understand just…" she started before holding him and soon pulled him into her bed, "Just listen to my heart…" Padfoot said as the blonde closed his eyes and listened to the subtle but beautiful rhythm of her pulsating heart. "I love you…" she whispered as she cradled his head to her nearly nude bosom. "I know you're a hunter, and I know you must do horrible things for the right reasons…but I love you because your soul and heart are so kind to people despite what your people asked of you to close it off."
"Padfoot, I…"
"Please… just… rest your woes on me… you don't have to be strong in front of me anymore. It's okay to feel vulnerable." She promised as the blonde snaked her hands around her body and held tightly. "Naruto…I know what I want for my gift." The blonde only hummed as she smiled, "I want you to call me my name…"
He looked up at her stun by her request, "But that's…"
"I trust you…I want you to call me…" she leaned in and whispered to his ear as he slowly became drowsy. "Please call me that, even if it's just once."
He smiled as he felt his mind drift in peace, "I love you…my Imari..."
The woman smiled happily as a tear of joy rolled down her cheek, "Thank you…my beloved."

AK: So now we see the whole Name thing, a friend who help me on this fic suggested that. That as you know from Bloodborne there's a blood transfer thing that makes the player become a Hunter and it seems to be a thing for all so I take it a step further that maybe the type of blood you use can make you have a passive ability or change in stats similar how you can chhose a background for your MC. And that why Naruto name is used than a title of sorts is due to another reason I got from another game series which will be reveal soon. As you also saw Naruto has some drawbacks on his blood and we took down Gascogine sadly, things are going to start follow the canon more now since I will leave the Hunter Lore in bits in pieces. But how is my lore working so far let me know!
