The Tale of Naruto Namikaze: The Hero of The Hidden Leaf Village

Naruto Uzumaki (Namikaze) was informed of his true parents, he was indeed not an orphan. This knowledge completely changed his life, despite his kindness Naruto was filled with rage to create a better world, a better village built on honor, truth, and kindness. Little does he know, his looks will cause him problems as his father's enemies will stop at nothing to get their revenge.

1. Chapter 1

OOF every time I come back I vanish again lol sorry life is weird and college sucks! But we thug it out. So all my last stories I started when I was like 13 and trying to revise them got too complicated because you can tell the stories came from the mind of a child. But hey I'm probably no mentally older ! anyway can you tell what epic sanin I stole the title from?! Not your normal Naruto story, stronger, better SMARTER! HES BETTER! Anyway, no character bashing, this story will VERY loosely follow the structure of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden if my attention span doesn't give out. Please enjoy and tell me any changes you would like. I am interested in the idea of writing an attack on titan fiction as well inspired by the 2nd game which added a original character! Let me know if that sounds interesting. (ill probably do it anyway ngl) (I don't own Naruto, if I did Sakura would be the best written one in the show *shrug)

Three years ago

Naruto Uzumaki, the holder of the nine tailed fox, the son of the great fourth hokage, and kunoichi Kushina Uzumaki. Not like he could tell anyone though, a S class secret one only known to a small group and now Naruto Uzumaki! Naruto's face was flushed with red, anger and pain as the 3rd hokage's words continued to spill. "You bastard!" Naruto managed to shout out in between the tears flowing, "Shut up I don't care anymore!" Hurizen frowned, this was going significantly worse than he imagined, but it isn't like he was expecting a happy smile. More times than once the abuse from the village hidden in the leaves had nearly killed him, yet his smile never faltered. But this, the moments before Hiruzen told him, would that be the last time he ever saw Naruto smile? "My father and mother were a hero! Yet I am remembered as some piece of shit who should of never been born!" Naruto's blue eyes sank, before forming again in anger, sliding off his chair and allowing the hokage to only see his back. "I'll be the next hokage, the greatest one, and I'll never allow the things you allowed to happen, happen to anyone! Let alone a child, you bastard." Hiruzen understood the boys rage, and did not comment, but his words hit harder than any earth release jutsu.

Present day, graduation exam

Following Naruto finding out who he truly was, everything changed. No more pranks, no laughter or attention seeking just cold focus. The only ones who managed to get words out of him were Sasuke and Shikamaru. He wasn't mean to any of his classmates, Naruto understood what throwing harsh words and evil actions can do to someone's resolve. Though he was focused, sharp and rose to second in his class only behind Sasuke. Their training brawls were a sight to see, finishing their academy years a tied 3-4, three years ago Naruto sat 0-3 against Sasuke. He wore a dark blue long sleeve, similar to his father, it was branded with the Uzumaki swirl on both of his shoulders which was followed by plain black combat pants and black sandals. His hair had grown, in fact villagers had begun rumors questioning how he looked so much like the fourth hokage. "Naruto Uzumaki, you are next." Naruto opened his eyes, his blue eyes were almost glowing in the room, he stood up and walked to the front of the classroom. Firstly he cloned himself into the fourth hokage, Minato Namikaze causing gasp from the class. "Very well, Naruto!" Iruka said with a proud smile, Naruto nodded, reaching out as he was handed his Konaha marked headband, quickly tying it onto his forehead. "Still the next Hokage, right?" Iruka asked with a grin causing a small smile to appear on Naruto's face as he sat back down. Everyone passed their graduation exam before being quickly told this was not the official granting of the genin rank.

'Figures, just a damn clone would be a joke.' Naruto thought to himself, Sasuke remained indifferent, but Sakura immediately shouted "What?! What the hell was the point of all we just did then?" Naruto's eyes darted to her and Kiba next who backed her up "Yeah sensei, seriously!" Naruto sighed, putting his head down after Iruka informed them of the next section which could end in them being sent back to the academy. 'They're going to assign me with him aren't they?' Naruto thought to himself before snapping back into reality when Iruka announced the final team '-Maki, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, assigned to team 7 under Kakashi Hatake." Naruto face planted "shit." He said to himself, of course his sensei was destined to be someone his father held dear to him. "What, is he bad?" Sasuke asked looking at Naruto blankly, "No quite the opposite, ignore my rambling Uchiha-san." Sasuke scoffed, "When are you gonna stop calling me by my clan?" Naruto ignored him and put his head down again, Sasuke was frustrated with Naruto's ever growing strength, but there was a respect between the two, a potentially heated rivalry between the two was brewing. "What would you even know about anything, Naruto?!" Sakura shouted sticking her tongue out at Naruto, who he ignored, a habit he was growing frustrated of. They were the only ones in the room now, every other squad was picked up, it has already been two hours since Naruto was handed his headband. Kakashi Hatake, a seemingly one-eyed man walked in "Sorry for being late! A black cat crossed my path and I had to take the longer route." Naruto rolled his eyes, when he got access to his fathers and mothers journals he read them extensively, learning everything about who knew about him, which was a smaller list than he imaged, but he was grateful for that. It would hurt even more if more people knew and let him suffer.

While being lost in his thoughts he noticed his two new squad mates were walking out the room headed up to the roof, Naruto quickly uses a sunshin to get ahead of his comrades and be alone on the roof with Kakashi. The two stared, Naruto with both of his eyes and Kakashi with his lone. "You have anything to do with this arrangement?" Naruto asked calmly his voice soft, but certain. Kakashi just eye smiled as Sasuke and Sakura made their way up. "Hey how the hell did you beat us up hear?!" Sakura yelled holding out her fist, "CHAA! How did he get up here?!" Sakura inner voice shouted. Naruto again ignored her, Sasuke had a glint of anger in his eyes sitting next to be a meter away from Naruto. "Well, now now, let us get to know each other, and I can tell you about your next challenge, whether or not you'll be sent to the academy again is officially up to you!" Kakashi said with a somewhat unsettling eye smile.

I know I know not action filled but I felt the need to start the story on the first episode with my differences of course. Like I said, very loosely following the Naruto/Naruto Shippuden story and it's a fanfiction as you know! Anyway the next chapters will move a lot faster, as I really did need to lay down the character work early, my characters are all coming straight out the anime but I will be changing at least half come the end of this story, some like Kakashi really don't need change to fit my story so they'll hardly see much change other than interactions with changed. Sakura and Naruto will be the absolute most changed, as I stated I hate character bashing, just write them better. Anyway, I hope you enjoy a pretty boring first chapter. I might be alternating releases as in writing this I decided I will indeed also be writing an AOT fanfiction inspired by the 2nd games OC idea! Ja ne!
