"You were looking so beautiful today," Edward said as he wrapped his arms around me and placed a kiss below my ear.

I'd have liked this gesture normally, but not tonight!

I was repeating all the conversations in my head, and my mind was on fire!

I was questioning everything!

"What's up? You seem to be lost in thoughts," he asked me as he turned me around.

"No... I was just thinking about what Alice said earlier..." I said.

"You shouldn't be thinking about anything Alice says," he laughed, "I never do. Everything that comes out of her mouth is nothing but bullshit!"

"I think she might not be wrong about one thing though," I said.

"What's that?" he said.

"We never fight! I mean, we hardly have any arguments. That can't be normal!" I said.

"So do you think we should fight just to be a normal couple?" He chuckled.

God! He was so unbothered about everything!

"No... I don't want to fight, but... I know we have decided not to interfere in each other's matters, but.. that was four years ago! We have been dating each other for a long time, but I doubt if we even know each other well. I mean, I doubt you know all the important things about me," I said.

I guess this was not the time to discuss all this, but I was going crazy in my head!

He looked at me as if he was trying to figure out what exactly was wrong with me!

"What do you think I don't know about you?" He asked.

Well, I hadn't thought about the specifics yet!

"Like what?" he asked, "Be specific. Give me some examples."

"Like..."

Ugh!

Why couldn't I come up with some actual questions!

"Bella... Is something bothering you? You need to tell me what's going on." He said.

Yeah, that's it!

"Why do I need to tell you? Why can't you figure it out on your own?" I asked.

He raised his eyebrow.

"Because I'm not a mind reader?" he said.

"See, we can't even understand each other without saying the words out loud. We don't have anything deep. Our relationship is so superficial... I think Alice is right. Our relationship is just based upon sex, and that's it!"

He didn't say anything.

He just continued to stare at me!
