"So this was the bride's idea," Rosalie addressed everyone next morning, "Alice thought it'd be great to share some fun photos and stories around it, so Jasper and his family get to know more about everyone in a fun way!"
I was in a better mood today.
I realized I was just overthinking about everything yesterday for no fucking reason!
Everything was perfectly fine!
They started projecting the different pictures of them starting from their childhood and started narrating the stories around it.
It was indeed a fun idea. Everyone was having a lot of fun. I was also learning a lot of things about everyone.
But then I suddenly noticed a pattern in many of the pictures.
Angela and Edward seemed to be glued to each other in all pics.
I knew they were close, but I didn't realize they were this close!
"Hey, is this after your sixteenth birthday where Em had spiked everyone's drinks and you fell asleep on my shoulder?" Edward said to Angela.
"Awww... You still remember that?" Angela said.
Well, I had the same question!
But not in the sense of 'Awww... You still remember it!' It was more like why the fuck he would still remember that!
"Of course I would remember that!" He laughed, "You threw up on me after that!"
"Ewww!" Rosalie said and everyone laughed out loud.
"Not my proudest moment," Angela said.
What the fuck was their deal?
Were they just the friendly exes or was there something more between them? It was impossible to gauge that from Edward's expressions. He just seemed to be having fun, and that's it!
"We'd also cover everyone's latest pics now," Rosalie said after some time, "Sorry Bella, I don't have any good couple pics of yours. I had texted Edward about it, but he never responded!"
"I didn't get any text from you about this," he said incredulously.
"I texted you!" Rosalie said.
"No, I didn't receive any text!" he said.
"Damn! I must have missed it," she said.
"How could you miss that, Rosalie?" Angela said.
"I'm so sorry, Bella. I was really busy with the other preparations and completely missed it!" she said to me.
Well, she could have texted me if she wanted our couple pics!
Wait a minute!
They were trying to play some games with me, didn't they?
"Of course! I can understand!" I smiled.
