Chapter 28
The next morning.
After a hearty breakfast, the couples went their separate ways. Chusi and Ryomen went into the massive garden that the spa provided. They spent hours in there as Ryomen attempted to show off his knowledge.
Various plants and vegetation were used for medical reasons as well as reducing ailments. In fact, one caught his eye instantly. "I haven't seen this in years!" he decreed and knelt down.
Chusi peered over as she found his hand gently picking some outer leaves of a plant, it was similar to a rosemary bush, but the leaves were far broader and bore a peppermint smell. "What is it?" Chusi asked.
"A very rare herb. I have only seen this once." He explained. "A mentor of mine showed this to me, he had a family member with child, but the mother was greatly ill. He was hoping to find this plant, but, it was never found where we were. But…" Ryomen paused as he held his head. "I think… this was brought to him, as a token of thanks… this is peppermint weed. It cures any ailment for pregnant women, especially morning sickness. But, there is a special property to it as well…"
"There is?"
"I don't like speaking of it since it isn't exactly an ability you want used… For it only occurs if the mother miscarries. The property only affects sorcerers too… it makes certain their unborn child doesn't corrupt and become a curse object."
Chusi froze to this. "That can happen?"
"To powerful sorcerers? Of course it can, in fact, I can recall an instant it happened nine times… created nine curse objects that would only manifest if they had a human host. Those curse wombs if I am not mistaken… However, I also recalled that one of the sorcerers could get pregnant with a curse spirit and yet they combined… either way, it matters not if a curse spirit is present, curse energy alone is capable of such a thing."
"So, this makes certain that a sorcerer's unborn won't be a curse object?"
He nodded. "I know there are those crazy enough to make such a thing out of unborn children. Taking into consideration, they could manifest an army. However, the curse womb itself, is an unknown. You don't know what personality they will have, abilities or even mindset. It's a stupid risk if you ask me."
He began to pick some.
"Ryomen…"
"I am taking some for Yua if she feels unwell later, if you dry this and make a tea, it will have the same effect as if it were fresh"
Chusi paused oddly. "Why would you go such lengths for my sister?" she asked gently. "I'm sorry, I am not use to someone wanting to HELP my clan…"
"I understand that notion, especially if that someone looks like me right?" Ryomen asked.
"I didn't mean…"
"No, but I see it in the eyes of those who work here. They look at me with great concern… I must be someone who causes trouble no? After all, I have yet to see or recall another who bares my resemblance."
Chusi was quite for a moment. "They have no right to judge you by appearance alone." She said. "It would be the same as someone judging me since my clan name is Tooru"
"I see, we have something in common." He said and smiled. Yet that smile subsided. "Chusi Tooru, please let me ask something of you and please do not take offence either…"
She was curious now. "Go ahead, I doubt you would say anything on purpose to offend me."
Ryomen sat on the ground and said he spoke with Satoru; they have been speaking to each other about Yua and Chusi. Since they are Toorus, both are aware of the sorcerers who target them for the sake of their name, as well, since they are both women with traits that every clan would want. "We don't want you to assume with think you need our help but… when we remember who we are again… would you and Yua consider coming along with us? If that doesn't work for you… may we follow you instead?"
She paused to this. "Follow us?" she whispered.
He nodded. "I know we only met a few days ago, but… there is something about you that I cannot let go. I refuse to." He said bluntly. "At the same time, I cannot understand why my mind is fighting me on some aspects… I can't even explain that right now either but… all I know and can agree upon with myself is this… I want to protect you. Because… again… this is going to sound rather presumptuous of me. My mind is screaming at me, telling me… You're mine"
She didn't know what came over her, Chusi threw herself at Ryomen, landing a passionate kiss on his lips, then started to take his robe off…

They were just leaving the library.
Yua found a lot of books to read from, but, she was curious to the ones Sukuna had. He wrote down the titles and the name on the book before giving the list to her. Since then, she and Satoru had been in the library.
He was acting rather odd though, but he was reading up on some things.
Yua decided it was time to be a little flirty.
She picked out a smaller book, but, she went over to were Satoru was sitting, nothing in his hands, just looking board out of his tree.
She took a seat on his lap.
Instantly he perked up, Yua peered over to him and smiled as his face flushed red. "So, what are we reading?" he asked and moved her on his lap so she was more comfortable.
Yua found books about dragons, sorcerers, and even the foundation of jujutsu. But, as Sukuna said, there are different ideals as to how it came about. Some went as far as claiming it was the bloodline and these bloodlines are to be protected at all costs… blah, blah, blah.
When finished, it was time for lunch.
They walked past where they had the spa garden, but found it oddly locked at this time. "Sorry, no one is going in right now" the guard explained at the door.
"What?! Why?!" protested someone who had a very strong elf like appearance.
"Mating ritual" he said.
Instantly the others waiting to go in, suddenly back off without argument.
"Weren't Ryomen and Chusi in there?" Satoru asked offhandedly.
"That may explain it…" Yua muttered.
They went to the dining hall once more. Yua never got tired of this place. It was so extravagant. Crystal lighting, marble table and the food was divine! She has never had a bad meal while she was here. Satoru took a seat across from her and smiled. "Do we wait?" he asked.
She was about to give him the go ahead to eat, when he suddenly peered behind her. Yua turned as well but rolled her eyes. Sukuna and Chusi had come to the table but their robes were a mess! Sukuna's hair was all over the place, same with Chusi.
"I suppose you two enjoyed your… walk?" Yua asked in a sarcastic tone.
Sukuna bore a devious grin to Satoru, who sighed aloud. "Excuse me…" and he left rather suddenly.
"Is he… okay?" she asked.
"Oh yeah, he's going to be embarrassed but just fine…" Sukuna replied.
Then there was a commotion.
The other people here were hooting and whistling as Satoru suddenly ran by, ass naked!
She was mortified!
"What… the… HELL!" she demanded as Satoru suddenly vanished from sight. Yet everyone in the dining hall were laughing! The loudest of them all was Sukuna!
"BAHAHAHAHA!" he roared and even slammed the table in amusement. "Oh, that was rather marvelous…"
"Let me guess, someone lost a bet to you?" Yua asked.
"Indeed, granted he took the easy way out. There were two options he could have taken." He explained. "Either buy me all the booze I can drink/pick up my tab after I drink. Or streak naked through here."
Chusi snickered. "He's right, Satoru took the easy way out!" she laughed. Yua smirked and shook her head. It was weird to see these two acting like friends. At the same time, it brought a nice sense of peace… for a short while.
Satoru had returned, but, upon doing so, the dining hall was clapping and cheering aloud for the entertainment they received. Satoru being Satoru bowed and soaked in the praise before he took a seat once more. He then bore a rather cheeky grin to Yua. "All that and more can be yours!" he decreed and tried to sell himself to her.
She couldn't stop herself and burst out laughing.
