Chapter Two: No rest for Tru!
Tru wakes up to the sound of her alarm clock buzzes in her ear. She rolls over and hits the off button on the alarm clock. She slower sits up in bed and looks at the phone on the nightstand. She knows that she should call into sick to work, but that is not a choice since it is a Wednesday night. She gets out of bed and walks over to the closet. She reaches the closet door, which is next to the bathroom door and open it. Tru grabs a pair of jeans and a pink tank top to wear that night. Then she grabs a red shirt and another pair of jeans to wear for her study group and classes in the morning. She changes really fast then goes into the bathroom. Once in the bathroom Tru walks over to the sink and once at the sink get her toothpaste and toothbrush. Tru turns the water on and then wets her toothbrush. Then put toothpaste onto her toothbrush. Tru brushes her teeth really fast and then combs her hair. Then Tru looks in the mirror and she sees that she looks more flush, then before she went to bed that afternoon. She reaches up and opens the medicine cabinet and takes the ear thermometer off the top shelf. She puts the thermometer into her right ear and takes a seat on the edge of the bathtub to wait for the thermometer to beep. Thirty second later the thermometer beeps and she takes the thermometer out of her ear. She looks at the display and sees that her fever has gone up and to 103.5 degrees Fahrenheit. Tru is thinking to herself, no wonder I am feeling aches all over and feverish, it is because I am really sick. She stands up and walks over to the sink and medicine cabinet. Then put the thermometer away. She then walks out of the bathroom and into the bedroom.
Once in her and Jensen's bedroom, Tru grabs her backpack and opens the backpack. She removes the notebooks and textbooks that she does not need. She tosses the textbooks and notebooks onto the floor. Then grab the textbooks and notebooks that she needs tomorrow. Tru puts the textbooks and notebooks into her backpack. Then she zips close the backpack and puts the backpack over her left shoulder. Tru grabs her cellphone off the nightstand and then walks out of the bedroom. She walks over to the staircase and then heads downstairs. Once downstairs she grabs her purse and opens the purse. Tru takes her car keys out of the purse and then close her purse. She walks to the front door and opens the door. Then walks out of the house and closes the door behind her. She locks the front door and then walks over to the garage door. She opens the garage door and then walks into the garage. Once inside the garage she walks over to her car and unlocks the door. She opens the door and tosses her backpack onto the passenger seat. Then she gets into the car. Tru puts the keys into the ignition switch and is thinking my throat has start hurting. A short time later Tru is back out of the driver way and then starts to drive to work. However, she makes a stop at Tim Horton to grabs a large coffee and to get a strawberry jelly fill doughnut.
Ten minutes later Tru walks into the morgue and she has a large cup of coffee in her left and a bag from Tim Horton in her right hand. She looks at the clipboard on the wall beside the morgue doors and sees that Davis is on a pick up. Then Tru sees a note on the clipboard that is for her and that the note is from Davis. The note says that she and Davis are working together tonight. Tru walks into the break room and she walks over to the couch. She takes a seat on the break room couch and then set the bag on the coffee table. She opens the bag and then takes out the strawberry jelly fill doughnut. Then she starts to eat the doughnut and drinking her coffee. After she finishes eating the doughnut, she lies down on the couch and falls to sleep.
A half hour later Davis walks into the break room. He sees that Tru is sleeping on the couch. He walks over to the couch. Davis leans over the couch and Tru, then he shakes Tru left shoulder. Tru opens her eyes and looks at Davis, who is leaning over her and looking at her. Tru sits up on the couch and rubs her eyes, as Davis starts to talk.

"Tru we have a body to process and then I need to do the Autopsy, if the body does not ask you for your help."

"I hope that the body does not ask me for help."

"That does not sounds like you!"

"I am having an off day, can the two of us just get this over with."

Tru slower stands up from the couch and starts holding her stomach. In addition she is fighting the feeling that she is going vomit at any second. Davis and Tru walk toward the break room door that leads into the autopsy room and that when Davis notices that Tru is holding her stomach. In addition he notices that Tru look worse then she did that morning. The two of them walk over to the female body that is laying on the table and simultaneously Davis notice Tru is turning green. The two of them reach the table and Davis start talking.

"Are you all right?"

"Yes, I am fine. I will go through her purse and you can take the body."

"That is fine."

Tru walks over to the victims items and grabs a pair of medical gloves off the tray. She puts the gloves on and then starts going through the purse. She finds the wallet and takes the wallet out of the purse. Tru opens the wallet and start to go through the wallet, as clearing her throat.

"I see that she had a wallet, is there a drive license in the wallet?"

"Yes, I just find the wallet and her name is Becky Smith. She turned nineteen yesterday."

"I cannot find any sign of a fight and she was not shot. So way did she not wakes from the sound of the banging on the dorm room door? Since her best friend and roommate was lock out and banging on the door, so she could get let into the dorm room. Also, way was Becky fully dress and way was her purse over her shoulder?"

"I just find a note in the purse and the not is from her mom. The note says Becky's do not stop fighting the cystic fibrosis. You can handle fighting the disease and going to school. Please do not let a minor head cold, make you give up your dreams of being a special education teacher."

"Maybe the head cold was worse then Becky let her mom know and her lungs give out?"

"Maybe."

Simultaneously Tru picks up the pair of jeans that Becky was wearing at the time of her death. She starts by looking in the left pocket and she finds uses tissues in the pocket. Then Tru looks in the right pocket and finds two unused tissues.

"Davis's do the autopsy and find out what happened, because the note and drive license will not tell you how she dead. Also, the used tissues that I found will only confirm that she did have a head cold."

"Is there anything else?"

"Gagging, there is nothing else."

"Are you all right?"

"I am fine."

"Are you sure that you are fine, because you are looking green and you were just gagging a few seconds ago?"

"I am fine."

"Then I want you to listen for the phones and you can work on any college homework that you might have, as listening for the phone. Also, listen for bodies that are calling you for help. I will take it from here and start the autopsy!"

"Ok, but I have to take a restroom break first."

"That is fine Tru!"

Tru turns away from Davis and then walks over to the double door that lead into the hallway. She opens the doors and then walks out the doors. She walks down the hallway and walks up to the door of the lady's restroom. Tru opens the door and then walks inside the restroom, as gagging. Tru walks into the first stalls and closes the door behind her. Tru locks the stall and then takes a seat on the restroom floor. She leans against the wall, as closing her eyes and is fighting the feeling that she is going vomit. She has been fighting the feeling that she is going to vomit since walking into the autopsy room a half hour ago, so far she mange to keep from vomiting. However, fight the feeling that she is going to vomit is now too strong and she cannot stop gagging. She stops leaning against the stall wall and quickly lifts the toilet set up. Then lean over the toilet and starts vomiting. After what felt like an hour, she stopped vomiting and looks at her watch. She sees it has only been three minutes. Tru flush the toilet and then put the toilet seat down. She then stands up and opens the stall door. She walks out of the restroom stall and then walks over to the sink holding her stomach with both hands. Tru rinses her mouth out with water. Then she splashes water onto her face, so she can cool herself down. She leaves the restrooms and heads to the break room. Once in the break room Tru grabs her backpack and then takes a seat on the desk chair. Then Tru unzips her backpack and takes out her Patient and Doctor Year one textbook and notebook for that class. Tru then starts to outline chapter four.
Two hours later Davis walks into the break room and he sees Tru sleeping with her head laying on her textbook, which is on top of the desk. The phone rings and Davis's answers the phone before it can wake up Tru. When he gets off the phone, he writes Tru a note quickly, incased Tru wakes up while he is gone. Then Davis walks out of the break room, because he has to pick up a body. Davis has only been gone for ten minutes when Tru cellphone starts ringing. The ringing sound wakes her and Tru takes the cellphone off her hip. Then Tru answers the cellphone and before she can say anything the person that is on the other end start talking.

"What is up Sis?"

"Harrison way are you calling me at this time of night?"

"Because you work the night's shift and that means you are up all night. Also, I want to see if you feeling any better then you do at eleven thirty this morning?"

"I feel worse then this morning and now I can keep anything down!"

"Did you go into work or stay at home?"

"I am at work because it is Wednesday and you know that I cannot take Wednesdays off!"

"You cannot take Monday and Thursday off either because these are high relive days too, Tru, However, you are sick and should be at home in bed. I am sure that Davis would want you to take care of yourself and go home, since you are sick and that he would cover for you tonight."

"Davis is working with me tonight and right now he is picking up a dead body, so for the time being I have to stay at work."

"I'm worry about you!"

"I will be, gagging, fine!"

"You have been push yourselves too hard and you need to slow down. Also, I am also worry about you because you never get sick!"

"If I am still unwell tomorrow I will call in sick, I promise you."

"Ok, I have to go, I will check in with you tomorrow."

"Ok."

Tru flips the cellphone closes and set the cellphone on the desk. Then she stands up really fast and runs to the restroom, because of being really nauseated. Tru comes out of the restroom ten minutes later to find that Davis has not getting back from the pick up. She walks into the process/autopsy room and over to the cabinets. She opens the cabinet next to the break room door and grabs one of the home pregnancy tests off the shelf. Tru close the cabinet door and then she goes to the restroom to take the home pregnancy test.
Five minutes later Tru is still in the restroom. Also, Davis is push the morgue gurney that has the dead body on it through the doors of the process/autopsy room. Davis logs the body in and then looks into the break room. He sees Tru textbook, notebook and cellphone on the desk. However, Tru is not in the break room. Davis walks out of the process/autopsy room and then he walks down the hallway to the lady's restroom. When he reaches the ladies restroom door, he knocks on the main door.

"Tru I am back from the pick up and are you all right?"

"I am fine and I will be out in a second!"

"That is good that you are fine. Meet me in the process/autopsy room because we have a male body to process!"

"Ahem, ok."

Davis turns away from the ladies restroom door and then he walks back to the process/autopsy room. Simultaneously in the restroom, Tru is staring at the positive pregnancy test that is in her hands. In addition she is in shock about the home pregnancy test being positive. A few moments later Tru walks out of the restroom and into the hallway with the home pregnancy test still in her left hand. She starts walking down the hallway and toward the doors of the process/autopsy room. A few moments later, Inside the process/autopsy room, Davis is facing the double doors and he has not starts to process the dead body yet. Tru walks into the process/autopsy room and he sees the pregnancy test in Tru left hand.

"Tru what does the pregnancy test say and why do you look so worried?"

"The home pregnancy test is positive. I look worried because I felt unwell all day and have been running a fever and been ache all over. Also, I had a tickle in my throat all day."

"Go home and go to bed."

"I do not feel like be alone right now! Can I just sleep on the break room couch until my shift is over?"

"Yes, go lay down on the couch and get some sleep."

Davis puts on a pair of medical gloves, as Tru walks toward the break room door. A few moments later, Tru walks into the break room, as clearing her throat. One in the break room Tru walks over to the mini refrigerator and she gets a bottle of water out of the mini refrigerator, because she is thirsty. Also, she hopes that the water will stop the tickle in her throat. She opens the bottle and takes a drink, as walking over to the couch. Once at the couch Tru set the bottle of water on the coffee table and then takes a seat on the couch. Then Tru lies down and closes her eyes, as clearing her throat. A short time later Tru falls to sleep.
