CH 18
The two jag officers ask question about Jack and Sam till they reach Daniel office where they sat down and talk for few minutes till Teal'c showed up with reports in hand
"If you will excuse me I need to Kel-no-rem" the he walk out of the lab
"What that Kel-no-rem?"
"It cross between sleep and meditation, all jaffa do it so they and their symboite won't get sick. Teal'c can go long periods of time with out it, but he dose it every day"
"Ok"
"Is there any thing else you need to ask me?"
"Ah, no, not at the moment"
"Ok, just remember, SG1 has saved earth on number occasions and Jack and Sam have broken the rules" she put her hand up
"Not what you think, they broken the rules to save earth, here read this report" She picked up one report and put it on top of the pile
"Kinsey wouldn't listen to what Daniel had to say, think it was a big joke, but the rest of the team believe him, so they risk their lives to save earth and they almost died doing that"
Then she got off the stool and walk out of Daniel office leaving them to it. They open up the report and started reading it and others, so it would give them an idea what Jack and Sam been through together for six years. When Daniel return he did some translating, stop every now and then to answer their questions before returning back to work. While Sam was sleeping, Jack was working out at the gym and then finish working on his report in Sam lab. He was there for two hours when the two Jag officers showed up.
"Hi guys, what can I do for ya"
"We would like to ask you some questions"
"Sure sit down and ask away"
"Who lab is this?"
"Sam lab there is where all her doohickies are as you can see" he waves his arm around as they sat down on the other stools. They ask him lots of question, which he answered them for them, they talk for an hour before Sam walk in and smile
"Hey"
"Hey sleep ok?"
"Yeah Colonel, Captain"
"Major" she walk around the table so she could give Jack a kiss then she lean against the table while he rubs her back. Both offices notice it.
"So is there any questions you would like to ask me?" Sam asked them when she looked at them both. They both ask her questions like they did with Jack for half an hour before she left to go to the mess hall for a snack. So Jack joins her while the two officers carry on with what they were doing.
At the end of the day every one was in the mess hall having some dinner while talking and laughing. The two officers were sitting at another table observing what was going on with jack and Sam. The next morning the court marshal began. Jack and Sam where in their dress blues and is sitting with their lawyers when it started.
"Colonel you may start by calling your first witness" then there was a bright light, very one was shock where they saw alien siting there in his chair
"Thor buddy great timing"
"O'Neill it good to see you as well"
"Who are you?" colonel asked
"I am Thor supreme commander of the Asgard fleet"
"Can I ask Thor what going on?" jack ask his lawyer
"Let me" then he turn to Thor
"Ah, what can we do for you"
"I received word about O'Neill and Major Carter court Marshal from the tok'ra" Jack and sam look at each other
"Dad" they said at the same time and smile before turning to look back at Thor.
"Ok, so you know what going to happen to Colonel O'Neill and Major Carter if found guilty?"
"Yes, Jacob Carter has told me every thing I needed to know and I also done research my self out court marshal and found it interesting"
"Ok is there some thing you can help them with?"
"Yes, after Promethis left the planet for earth, I went back and was about to find the flower they causes all couples to mate while the flower bloom for the ten days"
"Thor where was it, sorry" Sam asked
"It was on a number of the small islands it was growing among the trees, I've brought some of the flowers with me so I could study them on my way here"
"What have you found in your studies?" Captain asked,
"There is a strong chemical in the flower which it affects all women hormones, it makes them want to as you call it sexual intercourse"
"How dose this affect the men?"
"From what I study from kissing"
"Is it true that this flower also affects both tok'ra and jaffa?"
"Yes"
"Why do you think Major Carter chose colonel O'Neill as her mate?" Thor blink his eyes at them
"Major Carter trust O'Neill with her life, they have a close bond like she dose with Dr Jackson and Teal'c. But the reason is that Teal'c wife pass away few months ago and Dr Jackson was with Dr Fraser at that time"
"Why not one of the other SG team members?"
"Most of them have already got a wife here on earth or they are younger than Major Carter and their rank"
"I've got no more questions"
"Major any questions?"
"Yes your honour" then he stood up.
"Thor how did you meet Colonel O'Neill?"
"O'Neill came to our home world seeking help"
"Help from what?"
"He had the ancient depository down loaded in to his brain, we were able to remove it and study him while he was with my people"
"What did you find out"
"That he carries ancient gene and because of this and what he has told us, earth is becoming the fifth race and he is also the ambassador to the Asgard" which made both Jack and Sam smile
"You said the fifth race who are the other three?"
"The ancients, Knox and the furling"
"Have you work with Colonel O'Neill and Major Carter?"
"On many occasions, they have help not just save me but my race as well, as you would know we are at war with the goa'uld and the repercaters"
"Yes, I know, is there any chance for our scientist to study this flower?"
"No"
"Why not?"
"I'm well aware of rouge group would do any thing to get hold of the flower and use it for their own preposes" they got the lawyer attention
"Rouge group, care to explain?"
"There is a rouge group who would do any thing to get what they want. Three years ago this rouge group have been stealing from their allies, when I found out that they were from earth, I went to investigate my self. I spoke to General Hammond about this matter and he told me that none of his people would steal from their allies. Then he called O'Neill in and he came up with an idea of going under cover to find out who it is behind this so our trust and trust of the Tollen can be restored"
"So all of the rouge group been caught?"
"Yes they were from the NID, now there is a bigger rouge group called the trust, they have try many attempts to take over Stargate command"
"There plans fail?"
"Yes thanks to O'Neill and his team"
"Just one more question Thor. What will happen if Colonel O'Neill and Major Carter is found guilty and sent to prison"
"If they are found guilty, then the Asgard will cut all ties to earth and the Asgard wont be the only allies. SG1 have made many friends and allies over the six years, they all know what is happening here today and they fell the same way as I am"
"So your black mailing us?"
"No, it is not there fault that they save hundreds of lives from the goa'uld, land on a planet which they knew nothing about, live there for over six years saving other people lives from creatures that lived on the planet finding more of a race who they are allies to. Freeing more jaffa than every before and the flower, it not their fault that that Major Carter chose O'Neill as her mate" the guy nodded
"Thank you Thor"
"You are welcome, I must depart now, to carry on with the study of the flower"
"Thanks Thor"
"Your welcome o'neill the Asgard is in your dept" jack nodded then there bright light and he was gone
"We will take a ten minute rhesus" then he pick up the hammer and hit the block then they all stood up as the judge walk out of the room.
"That is Thor" colonel asked jack
"Yep that Thor"
"Jack I need to go to the bathroom"
"Sure sweet heart" he gives her a kiss before she walked out of the room.
When the judge was in the men's room, he just finish washing his hands when there was a bright light
"What the hell" he turn around to see Thor and five other Asgard there
"What going on"
"You can tell us, my sense on my chair pick some thing interesting up, you're an ancient"
"Yes, I was sent to take over the commander place after we found out what happen to o'neill and Carter"
"What are you going to do?"
"Keep them together, earth need SG1 now cause there is a war that need to be won"
"You know about the flower don't you?"
"Yes and I'm please that they are together and happy"
"So are we, we have seen the concern look on both of their faces over the years when one of them have fallen ill, they truly do love one another"
"Yes they do"
"What are you going to do about Senator Kinsey?" he smile
"Show him what is it like to be chase by one of those creatures and show him what it is like when six goa'uld want to mate with him after smelling the flower"
"What will you do when you are finish here?"
"Ascend after I plant what happen into the real commander sub concise, well not all of it like you beaming me up here and what I'm going to do to the senator"
"Very well, it is good to talk to an ancient after all these years"
"Yes it is Thor, I must return before they start looking for me"
Then he went all glowy then left the ship and went back to the men's room when Sam was walking past where she saw bright light from under the door way, she stop and frond when the brightness lasted for ten seconds then it was gone. Then the door open, sam was shock to see the commander there and he were shock to see Sam standing there
"Are you ok Major?"
"Ah, yes sir"
Then she walked back to the room where the court marshal was being held. He followed minute later. The case continues for the rest of the day with brakes in between. That night while in bed, sam was on her back with Jack snuggling up to her side
"Jack"
"Yes sam"
"I saw some thing strange this morning" he pop up on his elbow looking down at her
"What did you see"
"I was walking close to the men's toilet when I saw a bright light for few seconds"
"Asgard?"
"No this one was longer, then few seconds later the door open"
"Who was it?"
"The commander jack, we seen the glow before, I don't think he is human"
"What are you saying?"
"I think he is ancient"
"Ancient but they don't interfere?"
"Unless he is working under cover so no one will know who he is"
"But why?" Sam smile
"Court marshal, he must have been sent for a reason most properly to get us off the charge"
"Well I hope you are right Sam"
"Well that what I think"
"Lets get some sleep we got another big day a head of us"
"I know" they both kiss before closing their eyes and falling asleep.
At another part of the base the commander went glowy and left his room and went in to Kinsey room invisible he went all glowy and he saw what Kinsey was dreaming about being the president of the United States. Taking over stargate command taking technology from other aliens to defend earth, jack and Sam in prison, kids and Teal'c being used as lab rats.
So he change the seen to on the planet running for his life from the creature, the creature catch him and started eating him as he scream as it took a bit of his flesh. Kinsey watch in horror as the thing eat him alive then it show him standing in the middle of the forest seeing his family being eaten alive by the wolfs, they were screaming out his name for help but he didn't move.
Then the ancient return back to human form just before Kinsey woke up and ran to the toilet and throw up. The ancient return back to his room and went to bed and got some sleep knowing it was first step on what he was planing on doing while on earth.
Over the next three weeks, there was one testimony after another from SG2, 4, 6, 8, Daniel, Teal'c, medical team that was with them, Jacob since he came back to earth for some food for the kids and that they miss their family. Then there was Hammond and the personal from Promethis, Bra'tac and ry'ac.
On the fourth week the commander notice that Sam wasn't feeling very well so he decided to have longest brake in the afternoon so that Sam could get some rest after the colonel ask for it, which was granted. Sam was six months pregnant with triplets and it was taking it toll on her and their kids. By Tuesday the court case was over and all they needed to do is wait for the verdict to come in. the judge stayed in his room going over every thing and all every one can do is wait. On Friday after noon he sent word that he has reach his verdict so every one return to the room, even Kinsey was there.
"After listening to every thing that has happen to Colonel O'Neill and Major Carter. You both knew the regulations and broke them. How every after hearing from other personal and aliens who were also trap on the planet with you and about smell from the flower and what it cause all females to do. You two had no choice but to act a pond what the others were doing. From the testimony from the other personal you two still act as CO and second in command while dealing with these creatures you were talking about and the fight you have against the goa'uld. My recommendation is that all changes against Colonel O'Neill and Major Carter dismiss" every one let out a sign on relief
"This court is Ajana" then he pick up his hammer and hit the disk then every one stood up as he stood up and walk out of the room after picking up his files.
Jack and Sam hug and kiss each other before shaking their lawyers hand, then their friend shake their hand and gave them a hug. They were also please that it is over, word spreads through out the SGC about the verdict. Every one was happy with the news except for Kinsey
"Senator Kinsey"
"General" Jack and Sam turn to look at the two men and every one went quiet.
"This is for you from the president him self stating that you are not in title to take colonel O'Neill and Major Carter children. If you or your colleges do, you all will be sent to prison for life and you are ban from the SGC. If you take one step in Cheyanne Mountain you well be prosecuted like any other civilian and the president want you to drop from the presidential race, if you don't you can be facing charge"
"Charges on what?"
"Exsertion, black mail, threats, how about that for starts"
"You haven't got any proof"
"Kinsey" he turned and looked at Jack
"Remember when I pointed gun at you and threaten to shoot you few years ago"
Kinsey through about what Jack said and closed his eyes and remembers what Jack and Mayborne did to get Hammond back to where he belong. He open his eyes and nodded, then turn to Hammond
"This isn't over"
"Yes it is, I need some volunteers to excerpt the senator and his men to the VIP quarters so they can colleted their things and shown off the back please raise your hands" every one raised their hands
"Thanks, ok"
"Sir if I may?" Jack asked
"Sure go a head colonel"
"SG2, 4,6 and eight you guys don't mind taking care of these guys, sir how do you want them handle?"
"I don't want to know"
"There you go boys and girl, they are all yours" Then Kinsey walked out with his men and the four teams.
"Hey Jones have you had any onions this morning?"
"Yes sir"
"Ok you can go in one elevator with the nice senator and his men while the others will go in the other elevators" he said
"Yes sir" he said grinning then they all walk out.
