A/N: Hello! To answer some of YouLookHappy2MeetMe's questions: I think Georg tried to confront his parents about the situation but maybe hesitated, or couldn't find the right time. Georg went away to a military summer camp during the summer, and was home from military academy when Maria had their daughter. Elsa was taking a gap year (meaning she would go to college a year after graduation) while Maria- as it stated in the chapter before: 'Maria decided that she was going to put her time into raising her child' instead of going to college. Georg's parents didn't want to be grandparents so early since rumors would fly around that their son got a girl pregnant. I'm not quite sure what you meant by 'sudden change of heart' but if you're talking about Georg's parents for the gift of buying Maria an apartment to live and raise the child in, that's because Hede made the suggestion to do so. I'm really sorry for not explaining this in the chapter! I hope I do better at doing these things in the future, and thank you for the feedback. I will try my best to make sure that I make everything clear, but feel free to ask questions if you have any [smiley face] This chapter doesn't have a song to it and it's also quite short (so sorry!) Anyway, I hope you enjoy!

P.S: I don't own anything!

It had been almost 2 months since little Livia was born. Georg had been busy at military academy so Maria didn't hear from him. August and Hedwig met up with Maria at a coffee shop about 6 weeks after Livia's birth.

"We'd like to discuss some things with you, Maria." Hedwig said, smiling.

August continued, "We've decided to give you one of our apartments, as a thanks for giving birth to our granddaughter."

"One of your apartments?"

"Yes. Well, we own a lot of apartments in Salzburg so we'd like to give you one of them." Hedwig took a sip of her coffee.

"Oh no, I couldn't accept this!" Maria shook her head, "I don't have enough money to pay the bills and rent-"

"We'll cover that for you."

"This is too much."

"Please, we insist." August looked over to Livia, who was in her stroller- fast asleep. "You can raise Livia there."

So, here she stood- in her new apartment.

"What do you think about our new home?" Maria looked at a smiling Livia. "I think that means you like it."

"Are you talking to a baby?"

Maria let out a startled yelp as she turned around to face the mystery person.

"Who are you?"

"Maria, it's just me." Georg chuckled, Maria narrowed her eyes at him and slapped him on the arm. "Ow!"

"It's not very gentleman-ly to scare the mother of your child, Georg."

"I don't think gentleman-ly is a word."

"Oh, do me a favor and shut up." Maria rolled her eyes, "Why are you even here?"

"I came back from military academy for a few days and Elsa told me that you came here, I assume my parents told you?"

"As a matter of fact, yes. They told me yesterday morning when we met up at a coffee shop. Could you please say thank you once more to them for me?"

"Of course. How's Livia?"

"She's darling," Maria lifted Livia from her stroller and handed her to Georg. "Careful, support her neck."

Maria watched as Livia stared at Georg with her bright blue orbs, confused. Then, Livia started crying. Maria reached her arms out to get Livia back from Georg, he calmly handed Livia back to Maria. Maria gently rocked Livia until she calmed down.

"How did you do that?"

Maria shrugged and put Livia back in her stroller, she turned back to see Georg trying to hide his somber expression.

"It's okay, maybe she just isn't used to you yet."

Georg gave her a small smile before looking at his wristwatch, "Sorry, I'd love to stay but I've got to get home."

"Alright. Good luck at military academy." Maria smiled back at him as she slowly shut the door. "Good-bye."

Maria couldn't help but hope to see him next time, she leaned against the back of the door as a million thoughts ran through her head- about Georg, Livia and what she was going to do next.
