Tanya
I wouldn't say I formerly understood what Yellow Diamond meant when she said she would take me to get my own Pearl, but the continuous information fed into my mind from somewhere allowed me to understand more of my situation and what Pearls were. As Yellow Diamond continued to walk into the clamshell-like structure, with the Yellow Pearl of her own following close after, I made sure to keep up with both of them as Yellow Diamond stepped through the large doorways that led into a central area of the clam-like building.
While I would acknowledge the occasional glances given by the Yellow Pearl, I made sure to keep my eyes forward most of the time as I marched my way forward in step with Yellow Diamond; with a her arms crossed, my Diamond…that's still something new I am gonna have to used to imply with…My Diamond unfolded her arms and gestured for me to take a step forward with a stern look in her eyes. "Here, step forward and announce yourself." she told me in a simple indifferent tone, with her hand pointed in the direction at the center of the room.
Without another word as to not upset the large woman or disappoint my supposed new…actually, What do I call Yellow Diamond? She created me, but not in the sense an organic female would…hmm…nevermind, a thought for later, the important matter is that she's one of the matriarchs of the Diamond Authority I now serve, and the best thing I can do is play along until I can get a full grasp on my situation.
Shaking myself out of my thoughts, I quickly took a few steps forward and awaited at the center of the room until a voice spoke up. "Greetings, please identify yourself and reason for visiting this Reef Station." A calm and soft feminine voice announced itself, its voice reverberated throughout the room while doing so.
Standing at attention at the center of the room, I clasped my hands behind my back and allowed some of the information fed into my mind to aid me in identifying myself. "I am Citrine Facet 74ny4 cut v0n, and my purpose is to acquire a pearl to aid in my work." I firmly said to the voice that spoke throughout the room, which by my guess had to be some form of A.I. that was in charge of the place. I suppose that helps me a bit as well in grasping how far in technology the Diamond Authority I'll soon fully serve in the coming future.
If there was one caveat in my new life, compared to my last one, I didn't have to start over as a newborn baby…granted I'm once again female for all intents and purposes, seeing as how I was able to see a reflection of myself in the sheen of the floor…I haven't seen a male counterpart though, so I have to assume I'm part of an intergalactic civilizations of a monogendered species that propagates via incubating their species in the crust of a planet…the information that continued to pour into my mind confirmed my assumptions on some level.
The information that constantly fed into my mind was like an ever growing library of information at my disposal, it was as if I was a super-computer with a wealth of information at my hands that allowed me to do as instructed without questioning what my superior meant by any of her words.
Breaking out of my thoughts, the voice spoke up once more. "Greeting, Citrine Facet 74ny4 cut v0n, You will now be scanned to program you an appropriate pearl for your station." The artificial voice spoke out, before shortly afterward, a blue teardrop-like object fell from the ceiling and stopped in mid air in front of me. I watched as the teardrop-like object scanned me, before resuming its fall and sunk into the floor beside me. "Analyzing…finished…please step through the lit up doorway and greet your soon-to-be personalized pearl. With your geometrics scanned, your position within Yellow Diamond's court, and duty within her forces, I have appropriated the perfect pearl for your future endeavors." The feminine A.I. voice echoed out as the lit up doorway opened up, large enough to allow Yellow Diamond herself to walk in through as well.
Without another word said, Yellow Diamond led the way, even though she was not the one to acquire a new pearl of her own; Within my mind's databanks…gonna have to get used to that one…it's dictated for all gems depending on their station to always walk behind their superiors, never beside or in front. Understandable on some level, it's pretty much a rank and file tradition, and as far as I'm concerned, I am to walk alongside Yellow Diamond's Pearl behind her while she walks forward; No wait, a bit forward in front of Yellow Pearl…given the intricacies of gem society on a whole… this will get awkward for a while.
Oh, Yellow Pearl is looking at me while our Diamond continues to walk, her eyes make a motion to go first, in an annoyed expression; I wordlessly took the initiative and hurried along to catch up and walk behind Yellow Diamond, with her Pearl soon catching up behind me. As Yellow Diamond led the way with soft thumps of her feet coming down into contact with the floor with every step, I occasionally took a few glances around me. Various pedestals of what I could only surmise was what I'd have the option to choose to give to…my pearl…ugh.
While I find the idea of having an assistant manufactured intriguing, on a certain level, it still didn't sit well with me that I was essentially going to own a subservient being that did my bidding; though from my first impression of My Diamond's relationship towards her own Pearl, I can deduce that she treats her subservient pearl rather well, but that didn't mean other gems of the Matriarchal Diamond Empire treat their pearls to the same letter. I can not say for certain for now, seeing as how I've just come into existence within this reality, pearls seem to be a sort of an accessory of sorts for Gems of highclass to show off their immense power.
Snapping myself out of my thoughts as Yellow Diamond halted in front of a lit up clam shell, I stopped to look up and wait for the go ahead to step in front of her; My supposed progenitor turned around and looked around at our surroundings, "I forgot how over decorated these places can be." she muttered under her breath, with a scrutinizing gaze of the large and wide hallway we were in.
hm…I gazed around, and took notice that the majority of the stuff that lined the walls seemed to be fit for dancers, entertainers, and most importantly of all, ballerinas; well, since I am to get a pearl by the end of this, I'd rather not choose anything other than a weapon. If I am to be what I can only surmise as a position of a commander of sorts, I'll need a pearl with combat readiness, and I'll go from there. From what I can glean from whatever continuous information that is poured into my mind, Pearls can learn and adapt to better suit their owner's needs; not a pleasant thought the more I think on it, but for now I'll have to make do with my situation and hope the pearl I get acquainted with can think on her own…maybe even figure out if a pearl can detach herself from her owner and be her own person so to speak.
"Anything out of these…trinkets, you'd like to give your pearl?" Yellow Diamond asked quizzically with a bored tone, as she glanced down at me. With my idle thoughts out of the way for now, I looked up and glanced over to a preset of weapon choices, Yellow Diamond followed my gaze and seemed to smirk. "And nothing else?" she asked with an approving smirk…what? What I do? All I did was rather than gaze elsewhere, I looked in the weapon section first and foremost.
I shook my head in a negative motion, I decided to voice my opinion seeing as how she asked first, "If what I can glean from I'll be doing while serving under you, My Diamond." I began to say with a stiff posture and hands behind my back, "I'll be needing a pearl with combat faculties." I reasoned with the Yellow Diamond Matriarch of what I can now assume from the data within my mind to be the overseer of all military attributes of the Great Diamond Authority…great, out from one Empire Military and into a new one.
Yellow Diamond allowed an approving smile to grace her lips, "Excellent choice." she mused.
With her piece said, and just as well, the lit up clam began to open up and allowed the pearl gem within it to begin floating up until an orange light-like body formed around until finally the pearl's body became solid and allowed me to view an almost striking resemblance to myself; to be fair though, from glancing at Yellow Pearl, I supposed all Pearl take after their owners upon first forming.
As the Orange Pearl looked up at me, she smiled as she began to speak, "Hello, Allow me to-" The pearl began to say before me, before glancing past me to glance up at Yellow Diamond. "This…this is…I don't think my mind can comprehend what to do in this situation!" she remarked with a rather troubled tone with dilated pupils.
Glancing over my shoulder to look up at my progenitor, Yellow Diamond rolled her eyes in mild annoyance, "I forgot how irritating a new pearl can be, their basic programming takes a while to set in." she said while she headed down the hallway. "Come outside when you two are finished, Citrine." Yellow Diamond's voice echoed back as she left from sight past the double clam shell doorways, along with her own Pearl hot on her heels in obedience.
Ah…so some of my assumptions are correct…
"uh…as I was saying,...um…" My own Pearl spoke up in a stuttering voice, I'll let it slide in all honesty, this all new to me too after all…I glanced down at my pearl and noticed her cheeks lit up in bright orange, ah, she must be embarrassed for her situation.
Crossing my arms, I gazed at the pearl before me. "Are you able to grasp the concept of assistant?" I tried to break the ice, so to speak, with what would effectively be my assistant in my future endeavors, "Can you even understand the meaning of what collating means?" I continued to ask, hoping the term existed within the lexicon of Gem society.
After a few seconds of silence of what I can assume was internal thinking on the orange pearl's part before me to be, she nodded in a positive motion. "Excellent, then we're on the right track to what I have in mind for you, we'll need to make sure you can also understand advanced mathematics, political theory, resources management…" I began to go into a bit more intricate topics, but stopped myself and shook my head.
"Come along." I gestured for the Orange Pearl to follow after me, "We need to get you an assigned weapon, and leave this place." I remarked as I led the way towards a pedestal of a spear and shield grouped together, "Then we need to leave, we wouldn't want our Yellow Diamond waiting on us." I reasoned, before I took the lead to exit the place with my Pearl following my every step.
Earth
Blue Diamond
Allowing a soft sigh of frustration to escape from her lips, Blue Diamond sat within her Palanquin as she held aloft a diamond communicator to contact Yellow; after configuring it a bit to contact her fellow Diamond, it floated up and began to call up Yellow's personal diamond communicator. As her communicator shifted and elongated in the air to become a blue holo-screen, it wasn't long until the call connected and showed Yellow's Pearl answering the call, with the background of Yellow's ship.
Yellow's Pearl had her eyes wide, "guh…I mean, your illustriousness!"
Blue simply offered a hand up to make the pearl cease her ramblings, "I'd like to speak with Yellow." she calmly said with a stern look in her eyes.
Yellow's Pearl straightened up and smiled nervously, "Yes Ma'am, right away ma'am!" the pearl exclaimed as she rushed away off screen, some murmuring could be heard, before a familiar voice made a sigh; right after, the screen blipped and allowed the view of Yellow sitting in her seat of her ship. "What is it Blue?" Blue's fellow Diamond asked in curiosity.
Blue sighed to herself, "I'm doing all I can with what gems I have, but that rogue Rose Quartz and her rebellion is more trouble than I first thought." she softly placed her hand on her face in embarrassment.
Yellow rolled her eyes in frustration, and leaned back while crossing her legs in her chair, "I told you this would happen, you should have just let me go and help Pink with my own forces." she crossed her arms and huffed. "But no, you wanted to go first, to coddle Pink." She accused Blue.
With a narrow-eyed look of anger flashing across her eyes, Blue let the insult fly, as it wasn't far from the truth; she just didn't want Pink to fail on her first colony. "Be serious with me Yellow! That rogue quartz of hers is rallying more and more to her cause by the day! This kind of thing is unprecedented! The scale in which the Rose Quartz is rallying more gems to her cause is staggering!" Blue tried to reason with Yellow Diamond.
After a few moments of silence passed between the two, with Yellow placing her chin into her hand to think, her eyes lit up in realization and smile. "I have just the thing to help, I just finished one of my projects, this little rebellion is just perfect to see how well she performs."
Blue blinked, trying to remember which project Yellow was implying, "And that would be?" she urged Yellow to tell her who she was sending.
Yellow leaned back and smiled excitedly, "I'll use this…rebellion." Yellow spat the last word out with distaste, before continuing on to talk, "As a trial run for my new Little Citrine Gem."
With an eyebrow raised from Blue Diamond, she gave Yellow an inquisitive look, "And you're…sure this little…Citrine Gem will help?" she questioned her fellow Diamond.
"Why of course!" Yellow Diamond remarked with a rather optimistic attitude, as she sat up straight in her chair, "I'll even assign her a hessonite and a battalion of Jaspers."
"Well…" Blue began to say with an unsure expression, "If you're sure about this, then I'll accept your offer of assistance. I'll need to leave soon anyways within the next few cycles to check in on my colonies."
After several moments passed between the Diamonds discussing a few other matters, the call soon ended with Blue Diamond alone to her thoughts. 'What's so special about a single Citrine gem…' Blue pondered to herself inwardly, before shrugging it off to herself, she doubted she'd meet the gem anyways once the Citrine and its assigned battalion reached Pink's colony; Blue needed to be elsewhere and attend to her diamond duties afterall, and she couldn't always be there for Pink.
An; Hope ya'll enjoyed this short flashback chapter.

A coffee shop in Beach City 5
It was another one of those days that Steven Visited the coffee shop that the Citrine gem owns alongside her Orange Pearl, that, and he brought alongside Amethyst to see if she'd like to try the new chocolate bars that the store sold there. It was there as they sat in one of the booths just before the lunch rush arrived, and thus both he and Amethyst were treated to the sight of Citrine, Orange Pearl and Spinel working around the clock in serving customers. Jasper was away for her time off, as she and Skinny Jasper were elsewhere doing something on their own together.
Something about the two of them working off some steam between each other, Citrine didn't bother to elaborate further, just insisted that both Jaspers tend to enjoy brawling it out against each other to sharpen their skills against each other.
Back to the matter at hand, Steven picked his cup up and sipped from his chocolate flavored cold brew drink, he felt a slight jitter in his system, before he smacked his lips as he tasted the chocolate washing down his tongue.
"Hey, check it out." Amethyst giggled in amusement, as she gestured to where both Orange Pearl and Citrine would occasionally pass by each other as they served the customers their drinks and chocolate treats, and most often times if they were a bit too close, they'd dance around each other in a way to avoid their gem bodies from touching each other.
"Huh." Steven mused, as he took another sip from his drink. "Wonder why they're going that far to avoid bumping into each other." He pondered.
"Heh heh." Spinel popped her head over from the next booth over, and allowed her head to dangle upside down as she stretched her neck while she sat in the other booth behind them. "Oh that?" She asked as she slid her body up out of the booth she sat in and stood outside the booth that Steven and Amethyst sat while, then retracted her head to its original place on her shoulders. "You should see how often they try to avoid physical contact at the bare minimum!" She giggled childishly with her tongue out.
Steven blinked in confusion, "But why?" he asked, "I thought they liked each other, why would they avoid physical contact with each other?"
Spinel cartoonishly twisted her body as she giggled to an inside joke for herself, "Silly Steven! Did you already forget that gems can fused more easily the more positive emotions they feel towards each other?" she teased, then unwound her twisted body to do a backflip and began to bounce on the balls of her feet.
"OH!" Steven smiled as he glanced over to look at Citrine and Orange Pearl continue to work while dancing around each other to avoid contact with each other. "I suppose that makes sense."
"Yeah." Spinel said as she sat on an imaginary stool using her noodily legs and body, and calmly acted like she was checking out her fingernails on her hands…which she did not have with how she had gloved hands, "It's only been recent though, and they've been working on a way for them to not accidentally fuse and be fine with bumping into each other." she guffawed in childish snickering.
"Cool." Steven mused, as he glanced back over to look at Amethyst, and ask what she thought, only to find her gone, and see her sneaking under around the tables. "Amethyst?" he asked in confusion.
Just as he was about to get up and ask what she was doing, Amethyst wanted to play a little prank on the two gem, and trip Orange Pearl directly into Citrine. "Oh Stars! My Citrine!" Orange pearl gasped in worry as she floundered into the arms of her favorite gem of affection. On reflex, Citrine held her arms out to catch her Pearl, and before either could realize their goof, both of their bodies glowed bright white, and before long, a tall and large smokey gem formed into being.
As Amethyst and Spinel let off their chortles of amusement, Steven rushed over to apologize for Amethyst's action. "I'm sorry! Amethyst can be a bit-"
Smokey Orange Tiger's Eye smiled calmly and held up her hand, "Oh…it's alright…" she smiled demurely, with a bit of an orange blush, "It's been a while since I've been out anyways." Smokey Orange responded to Steven. "Spinel, mind giving me hand, now that the two are…well, you know." she gestured to herself.
Spinel saluted with a silly face, "eye eye, cappy-ton!" She responded boisterously, before zipping away and began using her elasticity within her arms to help serve the customers their drinks and chocolate.
Smokey Orange then gave Amethyst a wink of appreciation, "If you ask me, those two needed some time together anyways, for well, you know, they need to sort out more of their feelings for each other, and what better way than fusion?" she gushed with a hand on her cheek with a calm look about her. "Tensions seem to be high for little Citrine, and Pearl didn't know how to help, I think this new business of theirs has them a bit strung up in dealing with a different lifestyle after so long within the Diamond authority."
Amethyst rubbed her head in embarrassment, "right…" she chuckled nervously, unsure what to say in response.
Steven simply gasped in awe at how fast the fusion happened, and how cool the two looked as a fusion, "Woah...so...elegant" he remarked how well the fusion looked compared to everyone else's fusion form.

The Fifth one part 2 route B
An alternative take on part 2
While short in stature comparable to Pink, Yellow was still having a tough time in fending herself from the new Orange Diamond that was once her obedient little Citrin; as her feet slid on the floor of the cracked floor of once used to be the pristine ballroom they all stood in, and with her arms up and crossed after blocked a haymaker punch aimed directly at her chest, Yellow looked over her arms as she looked directly back at the Orange Diamond that was give her a seething look. She wasn't sure what to say at this moment, unlike Pink's temper tantrums, the new Diamond before her seemed to harness her anger into her martial prowess and use it to suit her need.
As the Orange Diamond lunged at her with her fist reared back for another punch, Blue was able to make it in time and approach from behind to grapple her from under her arms. "Calm down!" she fretted for the new Diamond, "You mustn't let your emotions get the best of you!" she chastised the new Diamond.
The Orange Diamond's eyes dilated in anger with more seething rage as she glanced up over her shoulder and at Blue, "Like you're the one to talk!" The young Orange Diamond seethed back, before rearing her head forward and slammed the top of her head into Blue's chin, causing Blue Diamond to gasp in pain and release Orange from her grapple; the new Diamond was then able to land on her feet before promptly leaping up to spin kick her foot around and slam her heel in Blue's side, an orange aura seemed to cover her leg, allowing her to get extra oomph in her attack.
"Blue!" Yellow hollered out in worry as she watched Blue get kicked across the floor, until her body landed and slid along the ground until she stopped by crashing into a pillar. Yellow snarled in anger, before glancing her focus back on the newly born Diamond, only to find her vision obscured by her feet in her face. In Yellow's mistake of taking her eyes off of Orange diamond, Tanya continued to let her anger fuel her temper as she lunged at Yellow Diamond with a dropkick in the face; no finesse, all power and anger as she allowed her emotions she buried all the years she worked under Yellow Diamond to burst forth.
Outside the Ballroom Temple
I awake in the nighttime
With a loud smack and crash, the momentum from Tanya's drop kick carried both her and Yellow out through the back wall of the ballroom and out into the outside area where a lavish garden of crystal flowers and statues were situated. In the night sky, one could see the two moons were now sinking beyond the horizon, making it evident that night was nearly over with the sun soon rising over the other-side of the horizon.
Can you feel the energy
As Yellow quickly stood up to get the situation under control, she quickly moved to raise her arm to block with her forearm from little Orange Diamond and her reverse axe kick powered by cackling orange static. "Grrrgh, get a hold of yourself! It was just a Pearl! I don't get why that set you off of all things!" Yellow supercharged her own forearms to counter the energy that was pouring out from the little Diamond's attack.
Try to reach out and touch me
With a high shrill of anger escaping Tanya lips, she sneered at Yellow Diamond; all this power at her fingertips, and yet, all she could do was allow her temper to control her in some way as she needed, no, wanted to show how much pain and aggravation that Yellow Diamond put her through the centuries she's work under her. "And that's your problem, your disregard for anyone not a Diamond, other than me, all you've ever done is push everyone to their breaking points! We can't keep going on like this! There's a reason so many rebellions pop up! The Diamond Authority can't keep existing like this!" Tanya berated Yellow as she began punching her fists into Yellow's forearms, all charged with her orange sparking lightning.
I can feel my body shake
Yellow moved to stop the newly 'born' Diamond by catching the young diamond's fists with her hands, while keeping her own hands covered in her own destabilizing lightning energy. "We can not just stop what we've been doing for eons, little Young diamond!" Yellow snarled back, making Tanya look back in confusion, only be slammed from Yellow's grip on her into the ground where there was a bed of crystal flowers, which all shattered from the impact of Yellow Slamming the young diamond into the ground.
Tanya's body shook with energy and fury, as she grabbed onto Yellow's forearm that was attached to the hand that gripped and slammed her down into the ground beneath her, she then wrapped her legs around the bicep of Yellow's arm, allowed the small and young Diamond to hoist herself on Yellow's arm, "But that doesn't mean the Diamond Authority can't change!" Tanya yelled back in rebuttal with a heated tone; a loud whir of a sound echoed from Tanya's body, as she channeled her growing diamond energy that kept welling out from her emotions, and before long, her body glowed bright orange before the entire area around them erupted into a large orange explosion of energy.
In the end I am drowning
A large pool of energized water poured from out of the hole in the temple wall that Yellow and Tanya created in their fight, the torrent of water washed over the orange energized inferno created by the young Orange Diamond energized explosion, allowing the cloud and fire to be washed away; as the water calmed down and Blue could be seen making her way from out of the hole in the temple wall. Her eyes glanced around and found what she was looking for, Yellow and the Young Diamond were propped up against the columns that lined around the outside ruined garden of crystal flowers.
My hands are weapons that blind me
As Blue rushed over to check on the downed form of Yellow first, she stopped to guard herself from being tackled to the ground by the young Diamond; Tanya had managed to get up with rage fueling her mind, and prompting her to get up and lunge at the offender that caused her from continuing her rampage against Yellow Diamond. With her fists covered in orange sparks, Tanya had attempted to bash Blue over the head, only to fail in doing so with the Blue Diamond Matriarch able to react just in time.
Reacting quickly, Blue grabbed Tanya by the waist and slammed her up against the column next to them. "Be Still, yourself, young one, you can't keep doing this!" Blue tried to reason with the young Orange Diamond, her eyes gave Tanya a sympathetic look, "We all must make sacrifices, but you can't keep going on like this!"
"Raaagh!" Tanya screamed in emotional fury as her body exploded once more from her emotions fueling her diamond powers so dangerously, the end result sent Blue careening away from her and impacting into the opposite side of the garden and column of the area with a loud crash.
I lie awake in the morning
As Tanya layed on her back from expelling so much of her raw energy from her anger welling from out of her, she blinked as she felt a small warmth cross over her face; Tanya turned her head a bit to see that the planet's sun began peeking over the horizon, signifying that it was morning. The young Diamond however continued to feel rage overwhelm her mind, and the only thing she could think of doing was enacting her retribution on Yellow Diamond for the many tireless centuries of work she thrusted upon her.
I feel my eyes bleed
Tears pricking at the edges of her eyes in remembrance of why she was fighting while picking herself up off the ground, she glowered over at the recovering form of Yellow Diamond as well as Blue as both Diamonds stood up from being attacked; the Young Diamond's martial prowess outpacing a certain other Diamond that they dearly missed to this day, all three combatants faced down each other, Yellow and Blue facing of against the young Orange Diamond.
And I try to see the sunlight
Tanya wiped her eyes dry of tears and before long, her anger resumed to cloud her rationality as the ground beneath her cracked and became a crater beneath her as she lunged straight towards Yellow Diamond first with an orange cackling aura around her.
With a loud boom while Yellow Diamond blocked the attack with her forearms by crossing them, Tanya's overwhelming new Diamond energy overpowered Yellow and caused her to stagger before a secondary explosion from Tanya's fist cackled with orange energy and sent Yellow Flying afar into a column; Blue took the opportunity to grab the young Diamond once more around the waist, and emit her emotion aura out to try and calm the young one down while trying to sooth and hug her.
"It's okay, young one! Maybe,...maybe we can try and repair the Pearl!" Blue tried to reason with the struggling form of Tanya as she twisted around and frothed as her anger was slowly being overpowered by the older Blue Diamond Matriarch's calming emotions.
With White Diamond
A frown marred her face as White Diamond sat on her White throne within her personal ship, unlike other times where she'd be standing with her arms out, White chose to sit and view the ongoing little temper tantrum that the new Diamond was throwing. White was onto what Yellow had done, but she never figured Yellow didn't know the full implications of what she had done by creating a gem from out of a shard of herself.
So with some security lowered and a few other puppets of her manipulated, White orchestrated the set of events that would get the ball rolling and awaken the new Diamond to pick up Pink's slack while she was gone playing with her humans and gems on her planet gifted to her by Yellow.
What White did not expect however, was for the young Orange Diamond to be so quite the handful for both Blue and Yellow…regardless, the young one's temper tantrum would soon pass, just like how Pink's tantrums would always pass with time.

Rose and Citrine face off against each other
Earth, Galaxy Warp
It was supposed to be just a simple check on the cluster within the Earth and see if they could repair the galaxy warp, what Tanya did not expect was for any remnants of Rose Quartz's crystal gems to show up and confront them; thus without any fanfare between the opposing parties, a fight broke out between Tanya and her Pearl against Rose and her pearl, along with Skinny and Jasper against a rather short Amethyst gem and a fusion of sorts that called herself a Garnet.
As Tanya wielded her gem saber out from her gem, it emitted out small yellow sparks as she clashed against Rose's sword as she fought against Tanya; Both opponents stared into each other's eyes with equal determination to win the fight as they clashed their weapons against the other. Rose raised her shield to block a blow from another of Tanya's swings of her saber, in the heat of the moment, Orange Pearl leapt from over Tanya's shoulder with a spear and shield in hand, before aiming a stab of her spear at Rose's body.
"Raagh!" Pearl yelled as she leapt over Rose's shoulder to meet the other Pearl, Orange Pearl raised her small shield to deflect the attack away as they both leapt away out of the air from each other, and lunged back in to attack the other while Rose and Tanya continued their heated little match against each other.
Over with Garnet and Amethyst of the Crystal gems, and Jasper and Skinny of Commander Citrine's forces, all four gems were doing their best to work in tandem in teamwork as both sides clashed against each other. With some advice from their commander Citrine to not get too full of themselves, more specifically Jasper, both Quartz gems from the Beta Kindergarten had long since worked out their differences and fought in sync As Jasper used her overwhelming strength via her fist instead of simply her helmet to fight alongside Skinny and her Pole-Axe.
Clangs and bangs echoed off as Garnet and Jasper used their fists to block and punch the other, while Jasper would occasionally use her gemstone helmet to throw in a headbash into the fusion's own head, only to miss as the fusion using a certain ability of hers to foresee some of the moves as best as she could in the heated fight between them.
It was a different story for the off-color gems on the other hand, Skinny felt conflicted fighting an Amethyst from the same Kindergarten as her fellow Amethysts over at Pink Diamond's human zoo. Amethyst felt conflicted fighting a rather uncanny vibe she felt from fighting an off-color gem like her, as if she was fighting a sister of a large family.
All in all, the area was filled with the cacophony of gem weapons clashing once more on Earth, only on a much smaller scale compared to the five plus thousands of years ago.
Back with Tanya and Rose, while their pearls were busy fighting against each other, leaving both of them to themselves as they clashed their weapons against each other, Tanya gave a glowering look at Rose. "So…Rose…have you been having fun on Earth?" she spat in vehemence of the gem before her, as they clashed their weapons against each other once more.
As Rose raised her shield to block a blow from the familiar looking Citrine gem, she gritted her teeth in annoyance, "I don't know what you're talking about! Why couldn't you guys just leave Earth alone!" she argued back. "We won!"
Tanya parried aside a blow from Rose's sword with her saber, and moved to make a stab towards the Quartz's Body, "I can hardly say you won." Tanya spat back with a scathing look as Rose blocked the blow from her with her shield, "Where is everyone, Rose, shouldn't there be a bigger response force than what you had back then?" Tanya snarled at the Gem before her. "Admit it, you lost the moment you shattered Pink Diamond." she began to smile a rather fiendish grin.
Unaware of what to expect next as the Rose was pushed back in their power struggle as they clashed their weapons against each other once more, Tanya leaned in to whisper into Rose's ear. "Admit it…Pink Diamond." Rose's eyes dilated in fear at being called out, and before she could form a rebuttal of denial, the Citrine commander continued to whisper into her ear, "Because of your attempt to make it seem like you were shattered by your alter ego, you left the other diamonds with no other choice. Blue Diamond is wrought with grief, Yellow Diamond doesn't want to admit her grief thus she drowns herself in work."
Tanya would have said more about how White Diamond probably knows that Pink was never shattered, but she didn't need to say anymore words, as Rose stumbled backwards in despair, "you lie."
"Rose!" her Pearl yelled as she leapt away from Orange Pearl, and moved to defend her former Diamond. "What did she do, are you okay?" she fretted.
As Tanya stepped back a bit with a smug smile of mirth, Orange Pearl leapt over as while to stand beside her Citrine and await her next orders. As if feeling the atmosphere as well, Garnet and Amethyst retreated from their fight to come to Rose's aid, while Jasper and Skinny formed up with their commander Citrine. Tanya on the other hand felt rather satisfied at looking at Rose's face. "Face it Rose…your rebellion was a failure the moment you took a drastic action, and all that's left is what stands before me."
Rose gripped her sword and shield, unsure what to do now; Tanya however felt the satisfaction of finally dropping the ball to subject matter she had been researching on for the last few centuries in her spare time. "Are you familiar with the phrase…parlay?" Tanya inquired, after a few more moments of silence passed.
After another moment of silence passed, Rose slowly nodded. "What do you have in mind?" she inquired.
"Have both of our forces retreat, while we have a nice long chat of why your rebellion failed, and how far reaching effects it caused on the Diamond Authority." Tanya bargained with Rose quartz.
While the Crystal gems began to protest their refusal to leave Rose alone, Tanya's own forces knew their commander Citrine could handle herself; but the only question is, why she wanted to parlay with a rebel scum, especially one that shattered a Diamond of all beings.
